Ame Damnee Character Sheets and Reservations

Revelree

Heartbreaker
THIS RP IS NO LONGER ACCEPTING NEW PLAYERS! PLEASE STAY POSTED FOR FUTURE OPENINGS!

IMPORTANT: Effective March 30, 2017 ALL characters from ALL players (GMs and Architects included) will have to be posted for review, and MUST be approved by TWO GMs before making its way to your Character Thread. The reason for this is that the Ame Damnee Universe has gone so big that not one GM knows the ENTIRE lore, so two GMs can compare notes to make sure things are consistent.

Please be advised that failure to comply to this rule will result to Revelree throwing ice cream at your face.

Character creation is one of the wonders of roleplaying. Making a character that is interesting, well-balanced and well-fitting to the universe makes the experience more enjoyable not only to you but your fellow players. That's why when creating characters for this roleplay, please keep a few things in mind.

1. Before starting on filling up your character sheet, please contact the GMs (via STC or discord) and fill us in on the general premise of your character. This includes the rough ideas on his personality, affiliations, abilities and skills, backstory, etc. It does not need to be detailed at this point, and you can also change things if you change your mind, but it could give us a general idea on what direction you are heading. This is a part of the process that most people forget, but please do this. Why? Ame Damnee has some pretty strict lore and history at this point, and we want to keep things consistent. We don't want you to be hyped in filling up a character sheet only to be told that: No, you cannot be Aditi's lover, or Lucifer's long lost brother. I'm sure you get my point. :D

2. Below is the character sheet for this roleplay. You may tweak it however you like, add some images and formatting, but these are basically the information we expect from you.

Name:
Aliases:
Optional.
Title(s): This is mandatory for Wardens. Otherwise, optional.
Role: While New Eden does not have any real form of social class, you could put Warden, or perhaps blacksmith, healer, etc. The same applies to Abaddon, but you may choose to add that you are a noble, commoner, etc.

Moral Alignment: Optional initially. But begin considering which alignment your character would fall under. Check this link out for more information on the nine alignments.
Affiliations: Which groups/factions are your character a part of, if any?
Hometown: What city does your character presently live in?
Relationships: Does your character have any relationships worth mentioning? Relatives, NPC's, player characters, etc.?

Race: The approved races may be found in the Directory. If you have a race in mind that is not approved, please talk to the GMs so it could be discussed. As of now, the only race strictly not allowed for player characters are Gods and Dragons.
Subrace: Does not apply to everyone. One example is that if you were a vampire, then your race would be daemon, while your subrace would be vampire.
Age: Apply caution and be reasonable. No one outside of a select few will be allowed to be more than a thousand years old - but keep in mind that even then, it would be a stretch. You are free to be vague or use age ranges. Be sure that if your character doesn't appear their age, to include that.
Gender:
Sexual Orientation:
Optional.
Appearance: Must be at least a paragraph. Mandatory details include height, weight and/or build, hair/eye color, and any other relevant information. Pictures are permitted, but a written appearance is still required.
Equipment: Feel free to have this in either paragraph form or as a list. Anything your character carries with them should be included. Some examples are armor and weaponry as well as other accessories. You can even give your equipment (such as your sword) a name if you'd like. Picture references are permitted.

Combat Prowess: Please list relevant fighting skills and experience. Swordsmanship, hand-to-hand, etc.
Spells/Powers: This section is optional depending on your character. If you choose to have your character have powers, please try to have them specialize in a particular school of thought. Feel free to list some of the specific abilities your character might use.
Weaknesses: In relation to combat and powers, what weaknesses does your character have? This section is mandatory. Weaknesses can include both physical drawbacks and personality flaws.

Personality: Must be at least a paragraph. Feel free to include your characters motivations, goals, likes, dislikes, fears, and other various strengths/weaknesses.
Skills: Anything that doesn't fall under another category, such as for example, maybe your character is a talented thief, blacksmith, healer, engineer, architect, artist, etc. Be sure to try and include their relevant experience with each skill.

Bio/History: At least a paragraph.
Other: Is there anything else you failed to mention?

3. Every player is permitted to have a maximum of EIGHT characters. Your character is free to have a pet, mount, familiar, a second personality, or a spirit possessing them--- just make sure to add a mini-bio of them (at the very least, a description of their appearance) so as to give others some information to work with.

4. If you feel stumped on ideas, unsure on what to do, or have some questions regarding the lore, races, locations, etc., please check out the Directory. It is still currently a work in progress, but we are aiming to have all the necessary information filled in soon! You can also try to contact the GMs, and we will respond whenever we are available.

5. While Ame Damnee does not have much limits on the power and abilities your character may have, your character must ABSOLUTELY NOT be at par or stronger than the gods, Aditi and Lucifer. Certain exceptions may apply to make a character as strong as Envoys and Ethereals, so if you wish it that way, please contact the GMs for approval.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, LET US ALL FOLLOW THE ESTABLISHED LORE. :D

Name: Cassandra Xilstine
Aliases:
Cass, Queen Kaboom
Title(s): N/A
Role: Powder Monkey on the Fortune Slave

Moral Alignment: Chaotic Good
Affiliations: Crew of The Fortune Slave
Hometown: New Eden
Relationships: Alora - has a crush on the siren.

Race: Half-Elf
Subrace:

Age: 60 (looks 19)
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation:
Homosexual
Appearance:
View attachment 962

Equipment: Ace of Spades – Her signature flintlock pistol, specially enchanted to shoot bullets of ice.
Queen of Diamonds – A serrated short sword whose wounds cut deep
King of Clubs – Her favorite cannon, enchanted to spread growing vines throughout an enemies ship upon impact with it.

Combat Prowess: Efficient in combat with a short sword but prefers to stay long range with firearms and explosives because of her almost flawless aim.
Spells/Powers: Her sight has been enhanced beyond the range of eagles, able to focus on fine details of objects over 100 yards away whenever she chooses and being able to see normally in darkness.
She also has the ability to weave enchantments into her firearms, giving regular bullets elemental effects when shot from specific firearms.

Weaknesses: She is as fragile as a regular human and rarely tends to actually think her actions through.

Personality: Cass is the life of the ship, always ready to help out a sad crew member with a cheerful smile, or a shitty joke. She’s also the one most inclined to make risky decisions, which is reflected in the way she plays poker, she loves taking risks, but sometimes they don’t pay off. Very empathetic, but also a bit nutty in the head since she chooses to handle explosives all day long. If you’re her friend, you’re her best friend, but if you’re her enemy, then you should probably run.
Skills: Really good at making explosive powder and cheering people up.

Bio/History: Cassandra’s childhood was as boring a childhood as you could imagine. An elven mom and a human dad, trying to make ends meet on a farm in the outskirts of New Eden. Cassandra always dreamed of adventure though, and when dear old dad died of old age, her and her mom had a falling out, causing Cassandra to run away from home.

She moved to the craftsmens guild to try her hand at enchantments and found that she had quite a talent for element based ones, but her life within the guild was just as boring as on the farm. Then one day, at age 50, she witnessed a naval battle near the port of New Eden, The Fortune Slave, manned by Captain Zathrian Ellwood, taking on a rival ship, the battle was intense and it was during this battle that Cass found her passion of choice, explosions.

The Fortune Slave defeated their rival without issue and when they docked at port, Cassandra begged the captain to take her along with him. Zathrian agreed, thinking her talent for enchantments could prove useful. For the last 10 years she’s spent her time drinking gambling, and creating new enchantments to help make her explosive devices cause even cooler explosions. Her life seems pretty much complete, her free spirit satiated on the high seas, her thirst for explosions quenched on a daily basis, and plenty of fun friends to drink and gamble away with, being a pirate was everything Cassandra ever wanted.

Name: Hatvisa Calvet
Aliases: Hattie
Role: Carpenter
Moral Alignment: Chaotic Good
Affiliations: The Fortune Slave
Hometown: Oblitus
Race: Genasi

Gender: Female

Relationships:
Phillipes Geraud

Boniface Pasteur
Trickster elf, met at a bar and struck up a rather intelligent conversation despite both being somewhat drunk, former new eden warden
Tallebot Chappelle
Arrogant, but mighty intelligent; taught Hatvisa how to read and write
Rohesia Peltier
a plump woman who was just like her sister and very motherly; was part of the whorehouse
Zathrian Ellwood
Finds him to be rather dashing, with a bit of a creep factor; what happened to his eye anyways is unknown to her
Tor'Mur Smith
Finds her personality to be rather destructive and prefers to keep her distance; doesn't approach or talk to a whole lot
Navyra Darling
Is particularly disgusted with how drunk she is all the time and wonders how she still manages to get things done right, doesn't approach 0r talk to a whole lot
Gosberg Holtz
Enjoys his calm aura, but thinks he should sport a little more blood every once in a while
Remon Belloy
Just another stick in the mud that the pirates have to worry about
Maligaro Sol
Finds him rather interesting and has been trying to catch his attention so to speak, but fails nonethless
Cassandra Xilstine
Doesn't like her overly cheerful and prideful demeanor, so stays away from
Mireia Martell
Just another stupid girl, sees her as a liability, despite Mireia somehow knowing how to read a map and claiming she can take them to an island

Equipment:
Crossbow: While it isn't something she uses very often in fast paced action, if she ever finds the chance to use it, she'll take it. The crossbow was given to her by her father and he taught her how to use it.
Enchanted Arrows: While in her secondary form, she was able to cast a minor flame spell on her arrows so that if she ever used them on par with her crossbow, the flames would do their job, as well as the pointy tip.
Cutlass x2: Two swords, two hands, twice the damage. Her main source of weaponry and kill.
Flintlock Pistol: A minor weapon hooked on her belt at all times, just for safe keeping.

Combat Prowess:
Hatvisa's been practicing with swords for eighteen years now. Her single sword wield is more adept than dual wield, but she prefers the latter over the former. If Hatvisa wishes, she can also shapeshift into a genie and use fire to expel her enemies.

Spells/Powers:
Teleportation: Can teleport short distances; a few blocks at most, but nothing grand. Is limited to herself and her genie form only.
Flight: Self-explanatory. In genie form only.
Decelerated Aging: Her genie heritage has slowed down her aging process. She can live up to 120 years, provided she doesn't get killed beforehand.
Invisibility: Can go invisible for around thirty minutes to an hour. Requires concentration, but doesn't really see the need to use a whole lot. Can't be detected by other senses. Liquids, solids, and fire may show her shape while invisible.
Shapeshifting: The ability to shift to a genie at will. This does not cost any endurance because genies aren't physical material.
Supernatural Intelligence: Hatvisa is unnaturally more intelligent than others because her capabilities are pushed beyond the normal level. Finds it difficult to relate to others because of this.
Supernatural Speed: As a material being, she can travel than what is naturally possible, but only for a short period of time, as it can become exhausting. Genie form only.
Fire Manipulation: The ability to manipulate, generate, and conjure fire. Can only use this ability in genie form.
Fire Mimicry: Can absorb fire; is also immune to any kind of fire. Is only active in genie form.
Disease Immunity: Due to genie heritage, she is immune to any kind of disease, but actual toxins and poisons can still kill her.

Weaknesses:
Critical: Her arrogance and preference for logic over emotion unfortunately makes her ignorant and unaware of the inner beauty and strengths of others.
Presumptuous: Hatvisa's got a great confidence about her, but her boldness and occasional inappropriate gestures is not something the crew members always appreciate.
Reserved: She's seen better days, had better moods, but it always boils down to the fact that any emotion she faces will always come slower to her than others.

Personality:
Hatvisa appears to be an unfeeling and antisocial young woman. Whoever generally tries to approach her, depending on how she views them, may find it difficult to communicate with her civilly... or even communicate with her at all. She doesn't mean to seem standoffish, but when logic rules emotion, sensitive people, quick tempers, and happy go lucky attitudes just don't cut it with her. Hatvisa is fine on her own, she thinks, sleeping around and flirting on occasion when she's not on duty.

Skills:
Dual Wield: Being friends with an air genasi who has a thing for swords was one way to sew in her decent experience with a single sword. Add ten more years of sword fighting and she's pretty impeccable.
Thief: She developed a nasty habit of being a thief way back around her teenage years, so has a fair amount of experience, but finds no need to utilize it at all, unless directed by her captain.
Wood Work: Hattie assisted her father multiple times as a child and during adolescence until she was sold to the whorehouse. She has twenty four years of experience up her sleeves and counting.
Tinkerer: When she was younger, she always had a knick knack for rummaging through the junkyard for things she could use to build little toys and gadgets. She doesn't really bother with this anymore.

Bio/History:
Hatvisa was born in a small village in Oblitus to a male human and a female genie. Her dad was a wood worker and her mom left the family when she was around three years old. Hatvisa helped her dad chop up wood and carve different toys and figures in her spare time. She didn't know how to read or write and her father didn't make enough money to send her off to school, so her experience was gained through real life, not academics or studying.

During adolescence and especially during puberty, Hatvisa became an extremely sporadic person. She stole things, set things on fire, and made a ruckus everywhere. Hatvisa eventually found out it was because she had genie heritage in her. She had trouble controlling herself, but found a friend in someone who was the same as her. When she was fourteen years old, however, she got sold to a whorehouse in another village to pay for taxes.

The whorehouse was not fun for Hatvisa. While she did what she was told, she didn't enjoy the vulnerability she felt while doing them and was often mistreated and abused by older clients. She met Rohesia, who helped her out a lot, supported her, and was very much like a mother figure to her. Tallebot was a somewhat frequent customer; he was the more kind person and taught Hatvisa how to read and write, a rather taboo thing to do.

When Hatvisa was nineteen years old, she ran away from the whorehouse, not wanting to deal with the scrutiny and abuse any longer. She sought out passage on a ship and went below deck where the storage was, hiding behind barrels and sacks of barley, hoping she'd find freedom and they wouldn't go after her. Unfortunately for her, she was unaware that the ship was owned by an infamous captain named Zathrian Ellwood, and got caught rather quickly.

They wanted to send her back, kick her off the ship, but she begged them not to, refusing the captain's demands, desperate to find a way out of the whorehouse. Hatvisa told him everything and wanted to compensate him in some way if he let her stay on board until they reached the next port. When she proved how useful she could be, he let her stay on board if she wanted to and she obliged. Ten years have passed and she's matured greatly.

Other:
She is a philosophical drunk, pondering many of life's greatest mysteries while under the influence.

His purpose, to be the royal spymaster. The King took a liking to Jon, eventually treating the boy like one of his own family, the court was incensed by how rapidly he was climbing up the ranks and aimed to have the boy assassinated, but they wound up killing the princess of New Eden, who Jon had grown close to.

After the conspirators were hung for their crimes, Jon’s dad died due to natural causes, but before his death, his dad told Jon to love and appreciate everything about New Eden, and keep it safe no matter what, and Jon took his father’s dying wish very seriously.

He redoubled his efforts and once he hit 20 he became the official spymaster of New Eden, serving faithfully to find and kill any conspirators against the crown. For the past 9 years his reputation grew and his loyalty to his city became ironclad. When the king fell ill, he asked for Jon specifically to serve as his bodyguard while he was dying, Jon had become the king’s favorite and it would take a true catastrophe to separate the two.

Literary Animation ceases to exist once the page or book has been destroyed.
Bellamy is quite sarcastic, he does not take many situations seriously and often is making inappropriate comments.

Skills: Writing, reading charismatic, quick learner, hunter.

Personality: Bellamy is a humours man who is often making sarcastic remarks. He is a smart man with grandiose ideas about the world. Some say he is a charmer and he certainly knows that he is a striking individual. Bellamy is a man of words and can talk his way into, or out of, almost anything. He has a high level of patience and a certain confidence about himself that is often mistaken for arrogance. Overall, Bellamy is a dreamer with an imaginative mind.

Bio/History:
Bellamy was born to an elven woman by the name of Shayra Elereth and an elven man named Makili Elereth. The three lived just outside of New Eden as to avoid the bustling busyness of the city. The family was peaceful, happy, and lived a modest life. When Makili was not working as a fisherman off of the port in New Eden, he would teach his son how to hunt and to wield a sword. Bellamy’s mother, Shayra, spent her days cooking, cleaning, and teaching her son how to read and write. Bellamy grew to love reading and writing, he would bury his nose in a book on the days his dad was out at sea and dreamed about the lives he would read on paper; how desperately Bellamy wanted to be a great adventurer like the characters he read about in his story books. The Elereth’s happy, yet simple life would not last.

Shayra grew out of love with her husband, Makili, claiming his repeated absence being the cause. The mother forced Makili to leave and with a heavy heart, the man said goodbye to his son and disappeared forever. Bellamy began to change after his father left, he became more and more reclusive and spent more and more time with his nose buried in his books. His mother spent less and less time with him, she was too busy working to survive and fraternizing with humans. The boy took solstice in his stories, he came to believe that the stories were real. He needed them to be real as a means to escape his tragic life. Day after day, night after night, it was the same thing over and over again until one day Bellamy met a girl, a child. She was sitting at the trunk of a tree just outside of New Eden, she was crying. The boy approached her curious as to what was wrong but the child wouldn't speak so instead, he read to her. As Bellamy read the tale of a faraway place littered with stocks and stocks of sunflowers, it began to appear around him and the girl. They were sitting in a field of sunflowers. Astonished, the boy flipped through the book's pages and read a new tale, one of a knight in shining armor and again, the knight appeared in front of them. The crying girl watched in amazement, remarking that Bellamy could bring stories to life.

The search for paradise began after he met the crying girl at the tree. A place where he could live happily ever after again, a place where he no longer felt hatred for his mother and longing for his father. A place he could call home. Bellamy knew that he wouldn't find paradise by staying where he was so left, not batting an eye when his mother pleaded for him to stay. The boy's adventures began that day, he traveled far and wide; into caves, above mountains, through forests, and across deserts. He would leave no corner of the Terrestria unseen, he was determined to find paradise and read it into reality.

As a young man, Bellamy experienced the world, molding his once-reclusive self into a confident adventurer. He slew demon after demon, pilfered treasure after treasure, documented adventure after adventure, and read story after story. Wherever he went, he couldn't find it and it wasn't the type of place that he could write on his own. Bellamy knew what he needed to do, he had to cross the ocean and explore its blue horizon. That night he stumbled into a bar half drunk after watching many ships dock from their grand adventures. He took a seat and waited for a celebratory stranger to feel friendly enough to approach him. It didn't take long before man by the name of Zathrian Ellwood to invite Bellamy to join in on his celebration. That night the two men shared stories of their adventures and bonded over their pints until the stranger invited him aboard The Fortune Slave. Bellamy quickly became acquainted with the ship and established himself. It was a long 39 years before Bellamy aided Zathrian in committing mutiny and claiming The Fortune Slave as his own. To this day, the man is titled the Quartermaster of the ship and within all his new found responsibility, he is still searching for paradise.

Equipment: He carries a Khakkhara without any rings hanging from the main structure. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khakkhara

Combat Prowess: He is usually playful and doesn’t care to fight as much as some might be lead to think. When provoked he becomes rather deadly to those he aims to kill.

Spells/Powers: He can conjure fire to light the path for himself or for others. This power is known as the Will-o-wisp. He uses glamour to hide his true identity and form from the world around him. His fire can be used as a weapon but isn’t as hot as most flames.

He likes cats and often mentions that he should have been a cat. He really enjoys food. Due to this he cooks every time he gets a chance.

Bio/History: The Hell Hound is a race of Fae that are going extinct. There are only a handful of them left. Despite this he left his pack at an early age to see the world they seemed to shy from. Upon leaving he quickly realized that people feared his kind deeply and quickly learned to cloak himself in glamour. To further make himself look friendlier he became monk-like.

After traveling around for many years he met a woman that changed how he viewed the world. In no time he took up taking care of her and seeing to her needs and wants. He abandoned the monk style and turned easily enough to her way of doing things. That woman came to be known as his little girl.

Cato was close to his family, particularly to a younger sister that he had not seen in ages. His first love, Aleora, was a shipwright who died in an unfair treatment from his previous captain. He does not show much resentment nor approval to the new leadership, almost as if he was just watching, always trying to gauge how good or bad they are at managing things in the ship. He was friendly to Navyra and Cassandra Xilstine, and it was actually Cass who made his gun for him so won’t be entirely defenseless in battle. Some of the members of the previous crew who had surrendered from mere fear hold him in slight contempt, regarding him as a traitor and a coward. He doesn’t seem to mind.

Race:
Elf
Subrace: High Elf
Age: 276 (Looks about 23)
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual

Appearance: Cato has emerald green eyes, lightly tanned skin and messy wheat blond hair. Standing at 6”0', he has a lithe and fairly athletic build. He was always smiling more often than not, and while his eyes held some sadness in it, only a select few knows why.

Equipment: Cato does not have much equipment as he usually creates what weapons he needed by himself, except for a gold-plated polished gun that Cassandra Xilstine made for him that he liked to call Windbreaker, a custom made pistol that shoots bullets that he crafts himself from his wind-solidifying abilities.

Bio/History:
Cato doesn't remember much of his childhood, nor does he remember his parents, but he remembered the pain. He was an orphan who was taken in and raised in the household of a cult, the older sects of the Circle of Sanctity, who worshiped the goddess Aditi. The cult has been much too hungry and crazy in their devotion that they started exploiting children, trying to make them into vessels of Aditi, or sacrificial lambs. Cato was lucky (or unlucky) enough to be chosen as one of the former, and every day he endured whatever craziness the leaders were up to, he remembered that. But he doesn’t remember breaking down from the pain and creating a sonic boom that knocked everyone out in a quarter-mile radius around him. That was how a middle-aged High elf found him, lying unconscious amidst the town ruins, half-dead. He revived and healed him, but the last act of desperation has taken a huge toll on his young body. And when he woke up, he was deaf.

He later found out that the High Elf was a traveler. He had been kind to him, treated him as if he was his own son, and taught him the ways of the world. He taught him of ways to control his powers, take advantage of his magical abilities and cope with his disability, and soon enough he was living a normal life with him. One day, his adoptive father met a nomadic faery in one of their travels, they fell in love, and gave birth to a baby sister, an adorable little thing with blonde hair and blue eyes. With her birth, their small family settled down in Oblitus, and as much fun it was living as a happy family, Cato felt a craving inside him. He craved to travel some more, see the world, the world he was deprived of as a child. This was something his father openly encouraged, and with a nod and a pat on the back, he set off, promising to stay in touch when he could, or visit when he’s nearby. He first came to Abaddon, and upon reading about an island on the city library, he set his eyes on his prize.

It was a couple of more years bouncing about when he first got recruited into a pirate ship. The Fortune Pirates was not that huge of a crew back then, and he started from bottom up, and soon enough he was the Captain’s favorite, and his right hand man. There he met his first love: Aelora, the shipwright at the time, a rather grumpy, but energetic woman, one he loved to tease. The crew has done some violent and dark missions, but he really doesn’t mind. His childhood and years in Abaddon has already given him a rather lax moral compass. But her death was the first time the wickedness of their ways hit him in the face, killed by the captain mercilessly over a petty and unfair argument.

He bided his time. He didn’t speak a word, didn’t show his disapproval, but as time passed he slowly started to hate most of the crew, who didn’t give a shit on Aelora’s death. He had thought they had more sense of camaraderie, but apparently he was wrong. He started to hate the vile captain more and more over time, and was on the verge of killing him himself when Z and the others prompted a mutiny, aiming to take over the ship, and the first time he did when he found out was to smile and say: “Great. Be my guest.”

Cato did not bother to lift a finger as most of the crew fought and died against the new rising leadership. Nor did he bother to defend his position. He had lost his interest on getting his prize, lost the thrill he felt whenever he fights. For a while he wondered whether he should just give up on the whole pirate thing and move on, but something was stopping him: the desire to look after the ship that was Aelora’s pride and joy, and the curiosity to see how the new crew will turn out. That’s why in the end, he decided to stay in the ship, taking the position that seemed to be one most people avoided for lack of cooking prowess. He was, however, a decent cook, better than most everyone in the pirate crew, and over time he realized that maybe, just maybe, he was starting to get fond of this new family.

Personality:

In his younger days, Cato brandishes his charm like a weapon, and almost easily bends people to his will with the charismatic smile he so likes to wear. He used to be more fickle and reckless, but since Aelora died and the following mutiny he became more mature, dependable, loyal and sharp, especially when it comes to more serious things. Still, it does not change the fact that he is indeed, every once in a while, a troublemaker. When it comes to him there is only basically one rule to live by: If you don’t want strange and nasty things in your food, never piss him off.

Combat Prowess:
Cato was, at one point, a seasoned fighter, one of the most dangerous enemies you could make. Fast, agile, as swift as his element, an opponent could face him, blink, and in the next second suddenly drop dead. His expertise and creativity in using his powers was what made him deadly, his knack of suddenly running in the air, his almost invisible weapons, his barriers and cages--- it was not a mystery how he had gotten recognition from the previous captain at the time. However, since Aelora’s death and the mutiny, he seemed to have lost his enthusiasm for fighting, and since then has only used the gun Cassandra made for him, and only when necessary.

Spells/Powers:
Cato is a high elf specializing in wind and sound magic, although he uses the wind bit more in fighting, and the sound in his everyday life. He can manipulate wind and solidify it into any form he wanted, the more complex it is, the higher concentration he had to give. Solidifying wind was tricky, and as he usually says: Wind does not like to be restrained. But as long as it was an image he can easily think of in his head, he should theoretically be able to make it. His sound manipulation abilities are significantly less developed than his wind manipulation, mostly because for someone like him who can only feel and not hear it, he did not want to make any mistakes he would regret. His own sonic boom, after all, was what had killed some of the cult members, and was what had given the disability he had today. However, he uses it to feel the vibrations around him, in other to pick up words and loud noises. Even at a young age, he had memorized how different words and sounds “feel” with his father’s help. And although he still needs some help like lip reading and cold reading on conversations, he could easily pick up his name shouted in a crowd. As a result, nobody has even realized yet that he was deaf, and he’d like to keep it that way.

Weakness:
Aside from the fact that he cannot hear, Cato has another problem. It was not a fact he advertises, but it was something Cassandra was aware of at the time she made the gun for him. As of late, he was having trouble bending wind to his will. He could make objects easily, but the moment he tries to use it on anything useful (i.e., stab a guy with a wind dagger), it dissipates back into air. That’s why he contented himself on using his gun. The small bullets were a lot easier to keep together. Perhaps it was because of lack of resolve, or his newfound lack of interest in fighting, but to him it was almost as if wind has its own mind, and it does not bow to a weak master.

Skills:

  • Cooking and making food look actually good
  • Lip reading and cold reading

Equipment:
Lucifer's Tears- A pair of scimitars that she carries around with her. Though she rarely uses them, she is quite proficient with the blades.
Rage- A giant warhammer, gold in color, is one of her few prized possessions in life. It is battered and worn but even after all the years she had it, it remained sturdy.

Combat Prowess:
She has almost 400 years worth of fighting behind her, making her a very formidable opponent anywhere. While she treasures the ability to wield her hammer in battle, she is skilled enough to fight with out the use of weapons and magic.
Spells/Powers:
Empathetic Absorption: While this isn't useful in battle to her, she has the ability to absorb emotions and revert them back onto the person she is targeting. The downside is she seems to only be able to do this with negative emotions and doesn't know how to release them.

Stormsense: She can't make storms happen but she has the ability to control lightning and create clouds she can float on for long distances. She can also make her voice almost as loud as thunder, the force able to push people back.

Mind-Speaking: She can't read thoughts or has access to memories but as long as she has a deep connection with someone she can speak to someone using her mental voice, though this is limited as they cannot speak back in the same way.

Light Magic: Excluding healing, she carries a Grimoire that carries spells that she can use to for offensive or defensive attacks. She has the ability to heal but that strongest spell can render her unconscious, with her ability she can only heal flesh wounds, no matter the deep.

Weaknesses:
Her mentality is weak, while not unstable. She can have a mental breakdown at any moment.

Personality:
Reclused, Solitude. She is a lonely individual whose only joy in life is her daughter. Vagri doesn't know happiness or love, she was never gifted those things. She is of little words and even lesser reaction, her face usually void of any emotion. She acts like she doesn't care to cover the fragile woman who lays beneath, broken beyond her years.

Skills: Advanced Abilities: She is a very strong individual and very brutal when it comes to close range. Her stamina is almost unmatched as she had learned to never back down from anything she faces. While her speed isn't the best she is still a very fast individual.
Advanced Senses: Save for sight, she can smell and hear things from farther distances than normal, making it hard for the enemy to hide from her. This was something she had honed for years.

Bio/History:
At 20 years old, her happiness ended. Her father and mother, who was half daemon, half angel, were loving to her until she reached 20. This was the year her mother lost her mind to the daemon side of her, the year she lost the one parent who still loved her when her mother killed her father in cold blood and chained her to the moldy basement for the next 400 hundred years, where she suffered mental, physical, and emotional abuse from her mother. The only thing Vagri ever saw in the room was a small golden-hilted dagger for unknown reasons.

As the 400 years passed, she began to also lose her mind, the daemon blood that flowed through her taunted her as she lived in that basement. Her mind broken, she reached for the dagger and lifting her arms behind her she followed the words of the voices and hallucinations, and cut through her wings severing the joint that connected the part that came from the back from the rest of the wings' mass. She knew if she was to fully cut out her wings, she would die but she felt unworthy of her wings, the wings that resembled her father.

One night as Vagri's mother returned and saw the wings that laid on either side of her, a feral smile grew on her face as she yanked Vagri from the ground, pulling her until the chains broke away from the wall, breaking her wrists and ankles in the process. Taken outside, she was tossed out of the house as her mother departed with words of digust towards her and left her out in the Oblitus to die.

For 100 years, she traveled the Oblitus, hunting to survive. She was slowly regaining her health though the one thing that didn't change about her was the chains she wore around her joints, she left these on her as they left a reminder of the life she thought she deserved. Things only would get worse as she was found by a traveling merchant who captured her and exploited her as the wingless angel, they abuse she suffered worse than what she suffered from her mother. She was in his care for the next 260 years, carrying a brand that was placed on her every fifty years she traveled with him.

In a moment of madness, she stole the hammer from one of the guards and began to murder everyone in the camp, going on a raging murdering spree on any life she crossed for the next couple of days. Soon she reached the outskirts of New Eden where she finally settled as a beggar, wanting nothing more than to just live a normal life.

Things seemed to start going great as she finally found her own place to live and even began running a florist shop to support herself. Until three years ago, when she was raped and had her daughter, Vira. Vira had become her only light in the world and was the first person she had grown to love, finally learning at least one good emotion she could carry through life.
Other:
She still wears the chains to this day and she had learned her own skills and abilities herself during her time in the Oblitus, having to survive from people who wanted to do her harm.
