Below is the character sheet for this roleplay. Do not think of this as a strict guideline. I would like for all of the below information to be included, but you are free to customize your sheets and add to them as you see fit. And if you are an artist/coder, please, enjoy yourself!

There are no preferences on whether you use pictures or not. And whether they be realistic or anime is completely up to you. One thing you must do before making a character is to read the Ame Damnee: Start Here thread for relevant story information. You will also find guidelines there to follow which will help you with character creation. Also be sure that you have read the rules. As of February 9, 2017, there is a restriction of 5 active characters per player.

Please be sure to check out the Directory, which houses more detailed descriptions related to specific topics in the roleplay. If you can't find what you are looking for, the most likely cause is because there currently is not enough information to warrant an entire thread worth of material. Nonetheless, please be sure to ask if you are unsure!

Before making a character, you must send the GM’s (@Kian, @jrusso20, @Pupper, @Revelree), & @~Nemo~ a group message outlining your character’s purpose. Anything relevant to their story, race, age, etc. should be included; but most importantly, please include the kinds of abilities we can expect to see from your character. This process is to ensure characters are balanced. It is also to your benefit because we’d like to make sure you and the GM’s have an understanding first versus having to ask that you make these changes or alter a character after it has already been submitted. This sheet may seem daunting, but I assure you that each section really doesn't require much information.

Once your character is completed, you are to post them here. If they are approved, you will be allowed to create one thread in the Character Sheets forum where you can post all of your approved characters as well as begin posting IC. :)

Role: While New Eden does not have any real form of social class, you could put Warden, or perhaps blacksmith, healer, etc. The same applies to Abaddon, but you may choose to add that you are a noble, commoner, etc.

Moral Alignment: Optional initially. But begin considering which alignment your character would fall under. Check this link out for more information on the nine alignments.
Affiliations: Which groups/factions are your character a part of, if any?
Hometown: What city does your character presently live in?
Relationships: Does your character have any relationships worth mentioning? Relatives, NPC's, player characters, etc.?

Does not apply to everyone. One example is that if you were a vampire, then your race would be daemon, while your subrace would be vampire.
Age: Apply caution and be reasonable. No one outside of a select few will be allowed to be more than a thousand years old - but keep in mind that even then, it would be a stretch. You are free to be vague or use age ranges. Be sure that if your character doesn't appear their age, to include that.

Appearance: Must be at least a paragraph. Mandatory details include height, weight and/or build, hair/eye color, and any other relevant information. Pictures are permitted, but a written appearance is still required.
Equipment: Feel free to have this in either paragraph form or as a list. Anything your character carries with them should be included. Some examples are armor and weaponry as well as other accessories. You can even give your equipment (such as your sword) a name if you'd like. Picture references are permitted.

Combat Prowess: Please list relevant fighting skills and experience. Swordsmanship, hand-to-hand, etc.
Spells/Powers: This section is optional depending on your character. If you choose to have your character have powers, please try to have them specialize in a particular school of thought. Feel free to list some of the specific abilities your character might use.
Weaknesses: In relation to combat and powers, what weaknesses does your character have? This section is mandatory. Weaknesses can include both physical drawbacks and personality flaws.

Personality: Must be at least a paragraph. Feel free to include your characters motivations, goals, likes, dislikes, fears, and other various strengths/weaknesses.
Skills: Anything that doesn't fall under another category, such as for example, maybe your character is a talented thief, blacksmith, healer, engineer, architect, artist, etc. Be sure to try and include their relevant experience with each skill.

Bio/History: At least a paragraph.

Something I would like to add is that your character is free to have a pet, mount, familiar, etc. If you decide on this, be sure to add a short section to your profile listing the details of this.

Appearance: Human Form: Long slicked back black hair that reaches mid back which he normally keeps in a ponytail, ice blue eyes and a scruffy full beard. He stands at 6’5 and is a well-built gentleman, weighing roughly 250 pounds. His chest, arms, legs, and back are all pretty hairy for human standards. He wears a black longcoat, a white linen shirt, black trousers, black leather gloves and black winter boots

Wolf Form: His wolf form has a nose to tail length of 6ft and a height at the shoulder of about 32 centimeters, rather large for a wolf. In this form he retains his ice blue eyes and his black hair becomes a black coat of fur. His clothes magically disappear in this and his hybrid form and magically reform when he reverts to his human form

Hybrid Form: He remains bipedal in this form, grows to be about 6’10 and retains his wolf forms black fur coat. His body elongates to become more lupine in stature and his claws are very pronounced in this stage. Basically all the traits of his wolf form but human posture.
Equipment: He carries a carving knife used to cut animal pelts, and wears a necklace with a bronze wolfs head that grows and shrinks with his form. It’s the only accessory visible on him when not in human form.

Combat Prowess: In human form he is an expert hand to hand combatant, trained in both Boxing and Kickboxing, in wolf and hybrid form his fangs and his claws are his main weapons.
Spells/Powers: Lycanthropic Physiology: Super Speed, Super Strength, Heightened Reflexes, Heightened Agility, Retractable Claws, Healing Factor, resilient hide.

Cloak of Shadows: He is able to use the shadows surrounding him to create a cloak of invisibility, concealing him in darkness. He cannot use this power in wolf form
Weaknesses: Lycanthropic Physiology: He is a close range combatant only, he has no way to hit a long range opponent and no means of defending himself from a long range attack other than dodging it.

Cloak of Shadows: It only works at night or in a dimly lit room where shadows are abundant. He cannot use his own shadow.

Personality: Brutus prefers to live quietly and in solitude whilst also quelling the urges of his lycan side. He can be a bull-headed and stubborn when it comes to debating opinions, and he’s fairly ignorant to common social etiquette. He loves the thrill of the hunt and gets along easily with those who share this love. He enjoys keeping his body in top physical condition and has a fine taste for alcohol. He prefers to stay out of trouble, but if he sees something he views as unjust, like someone picking on the weak, he’ll step in and put the jerk in their place. He dislikes thunderstorms and hates to eat anything that isn’t meat.
Skills: He’s become quite adept at skinning animal hides to make pelts out of them through extensive practice with the Hunting Club. He’s also learned how to cook exquisite meat due to living on his own for so long.

Bio/History: Brutus was born in the forests of Oblitus to Lycan parents, but he doesn’t remember much of that life, when he was five years old his father sacrificed himself so that he and his mother could escape. Brutus’ mother took him all the way to New Eden where they settled down and he learned to take control of his lycanthropic abilities. His mother always reminded him to keep his lycan side from going out of control and to avoid getting in trouble with the Wardens, advice that Brutus still heeds to this day. When he was seventeen his mother passed away due to illness and, due to the grief of her passing, Brutus spent the next two years of his life in complete solitude, only venturing out when he needed to hunt and calm his lycan side. It was during this time of darkness that he found his special ability, the Cloak of Shadows, and he spent these two years learning how to master its use.

Fearing that this power was an omen of falling to his darker, lycan, urges he began looking for a place in the city that shared his interests. It was then that he stumbled upon the New Eden Hunting Club. He became fast friends with the members there and soon enough they invited him to go on a hunt with them. It was during this hunt that he showed them his true form, though not to frighten them, rather to show them how he could be of use to the hunting club. Thankfully those loveable rednecks responded to his secret with “Not the weirdest thing I’ve seen all week.” And he’s been a member ever since, going hunting and getting drinks with the lads before retiring home. As far as he was concerned, he was living the good life.

@jrusso20 this sounds fine, but one thing I'd like to mention is that while New Eden is a paradise in a sense, I doubt they would totally alienate other races. But they would want to keep an eye on them (a close one). And they would obviously need to follow their rules and contribute just like every other member of society (also keep in mind that dark creatures or daemons are far and few in New Eden). Though, I feel in your case, that him being a Lycan is a secret right? If yes, then, that will be fine. :) It is kind of a wolf in sheep clothing thing at that rate which I could approve.

Yeah the idea is that the only people he's revealed his lycan form too are his Hunting buddies and they chose to accept him. To everyone else he's just a normal human

Appearance: Trell stands at 4'10", about six inches shorter than the average human his age, though his body is mostly muscle. He has red skin with black marks on his arms, back, and face that grow the more he uses his powers and then recede over time. A pair of small horns (~four inches long) extend out of his forehead at a slight forward angle. He has a long, whiplike tail ending in a barbed spike, which he has enough control over to use as a fifth appendage. He has white hair and bright orange eyes, but both turn black when he uses his powers.
Equipment: Trell prefers to use his powers rather than any weapons, and therefore doesn't carry any. His clothing typically consists of whatever he can scrounge together, though he prefers open jackets that he can shrug off at a moment's notice. Unfortunately, items on his person are not immune to his flames.

Combat Prowess: Daemonic heritage makes Trell faster and stronger than all but the strongest humans, but in terms of Daemons he's relatively weak. His attacks, while flashy and destructive, can be shrugged off by more powerful beings.
Spells/Powers: Trell's Impish blood grants him control over fire and heat. When he uses his powers, flames break out over his arms and head which he can direct at will. If there is another source of flame nearby, he can control that as well. The effective range of this ability is relatively short. He can draw heat from nearby objects, which often causes them to burst into flame and further feed his abilities. He can also transmit heat, though this ability can be dangerous. Trell uses the flame like a living weapon, whipping it about and hurling it at enemies. He can maintain control within limits, which he mostly uses to curve fireballs. His flames can be extinguished, but his own supernatural flames (created by him and not stolen from another source) can only be extinguished through supernatural means.
Weaknesses: Using too much power can cause Trell to slip into a berserk state, barely recognizing friend from foe and succumbing to his base desires, chief among which is destruction. The black markings on his body begin to creep and cover him. In additional, channeling too much energy into his flames or transferring too much heat can cause Trell to become hypothermic. Even when he isn't using his powers, he is uncomfortable in lower temperatures and anything below 50 degrees Fahrenheit can potentially be fatal.

Personality: Trell is a passionate young man, though his upbringing and lack of social skills leaves him with few ways to express that passion. He cares deeply for his friends, and generally tries to do what he considers the right thing, although a history of hardship has left him somewhat jaded and lacking in empathy. As he's grown older, he's made more and more trouble reconciling his Daemonic side with his human side. Any feelings or desires he sees as impure or evil (sexual attraction and anger being the most obvious), he represses, while being continually frustrated that their pure and good relatives (love and serenity) do not come easily to him. He likes to play pranks, and is often the one who begins the Amigos' adventures one way or another. Trell's mouth has gotten the group into trouble many times over the years.
Skills: Trell is good at making things, and often has a few random widgets lying around. He has been known to make traps, locks, and a timer. Conversely, he can also figure out how most simple machines work.

Bio/History: The Three Amigos grew up in Abaddon's many slum districts, moving between them as events in their life dictated. They were raised by a human man named Lysander, who taught took them in when no one else would and taught them to survive in their harsh reality. As half-Daemons, they were never truly accepted by anyone, and even Lysander was not above using them for his own ends. Unfortunately, his behavior came back to bite him, and he was murdered when the Amigos were only nine years old. they have spent the last five years without him.

They have survived through a combination of grit and ingenuity, working together to solve problems with their (mostly) unique powers. Even though they are not related by blood, they are closer than many true families, and could never imagine a life without the others. However, as they come into their own in their early teens, the differences between them become more pronounced, and new tension develops in their relationships.

Other: Trell has not stopped growing yet. As he gets older and develops, so too will his powers and his understanding of his heritage.

Appearance: Arion looks just like a human except for two horns that poke out of his blonde hair, which are easily hidden. However, "just like" is a term used loosely. Arion is perfect in every way. His hair is never out of place, his body is sculpted like a piece of art, and his voice is like music. Even living in the slums, he never smells bad and he always seems to keep clean. His silvery blue eyes are impossibly deep and full of emotion.
Equipment: Arion carries a sword at his hip at all times, and knows for the most part how to use it. His clothing, no matter how ragged it may be, looks stylish if he's the one wearing it. He usually wears hooded cloaks to hide his horns.

Combat Prowess: Arion is quick, but not as strong as one might expect. He prefers to keep his distance and use his reach and speed to outmaneuver his opponents. He prefers to stay out of combat for the most part.
Spells/Powers: Arion has the standard Incubus set of powers. He can enter dreams and show his victims their heart's desire while raping their sleeping bodies. However, Arion has the additional advantage of being able to manipulate the minds of humans. He can literally make someone love him, for as long as he is in their presence. His powers come in handy for the Amigos, allowing them to get food and shelter and more often than not escape the trouble Trell has gotten them into, but the power is a bit finicky and doesn't always have the intended effects.
Weaknesses: Arion's control over the human mind has, ironically, left him a bit blind to how it truly works. He takes a logical approach to illogical things, and sometimes doesn't see what's right in front of him. Subtleties tend to elude him. For example, he may know that a woman hates her husband, but he would not know why. He also cannot tell when someone is lying, even if he is inside their mind at a the time.

Personality: Arion is a cold-blooded sociopath, harming and manipulating anyone he pleases in order to get what he wants, and he's not very far-sighted. Aside from Trell's mouth, the thing that gets the Amigos in trouble the most is Arion's d---. He does care about the other Amigos, but not in a particularly healthy way. While not quite seeing them as tools like he does everyone else, he also doesn't see them as real people. To him, they exist only to fill the gaps in his life, and their relevance to him depends entirely on how well they fill that gap at any given moment. Also unlike the others, he looks forward to developing his Daemonic abilities and couldn't care less about fitting in.
Skills: Arion doesn't have many real skills, since he coasts by with his powers.

Here's the third and final Amigo. @Meliodas I decided to change it up a bit to make things more interesting/give the Amigos some cred. Let me know if this doesn't work and I'll go back to my original concept. If you like it, but want to make sure I know what I'm doing, send me a PM.

Subrace: Ostensibly a halfbreed of unknown heritage. Really a full Daemon who takes care of the Amigos for reasons known only to herself.
Age: Unknown (Ancient)
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual
Appearance: Vrekka's appearance changes, but she most often appears as a midnight blue furred, vaguely animalistic human with two horns curving back over her head, which is about six feet tall. Her poofy fur, big mooney eyes, and tube-like shape in this form tend to make people want to pet or snuggle her, which she is okay with. However, she can change this form at will, and the only thing her forms have in common are that they have horns and fur and are somehow animal. Those who have seen her true form say it's indescribably terrifying.
Equipment: Vrekka wields twin daggers, and prefers to wear long robes or cloaks that cover her entire body.

Combat Prowess: Vrekka uses stealth and subterfuge to win her battles, using her powers to attack in unexpected ways from unexpected directions.
Spells/Powers: Vrekka can create illusions, although that may not be what they really are, as some illusions can cause actual damage. Vrekka herself has speculated that she really has the ability to alter not just the perception of reality, but reality itself in a limited sense. Most of the time, she merely turns herself invisible, summons a magical darkness, or creates clones of herself. However, on the rare occasions her true strength has slipped through, she has altered the flow of time, created massive illusory locations and creatures, or broken minds with the sheer force of her will.
Weaknesses: Anyone who can pierce her illusions has a distinct advantage. Threats to Trell and Arion make her rash and may cause her to drop her guard.

Personality: Vrekka is motherly and patient, and goes out of her way to assist the other Amigos however she can. Despite her age and experience, she enjoys the 'big sister' role she's created for herself and sees it as a method of personal growth, or perhaps an escape from her undoubtedly violent past. She is beginning to believe that this is her true personality coming to the surface for the first time in hundreds of years.
Skills: Vrekka can cook, clean, sew, and any number of other minor skills one would need to take care of a family.

They have survived through a combination of grit and ingenuity, working together to solve problems with their (mostly) unique powers. Even though they are not related by blood, they are closer than many true families, and could never imagine a life without the others. However, as they come into their own in their early teens, the differences between them become more pronounced, and new tension develops in their relationships.

Only Vrekka knows the truth about the Amigos, and she has told no one. Whatever it is has kept her in hiding, protecting the two half-Daemons she has come to view as her children while pretending to be their adoptive sister. It was she who murdered Lysander, when she realized he was a liability and they no longer needed him to survive. Even now, she hides the true extent of her powers and knowledge in order to keep up the charade, going so far as allowing herself to come to serious harm.

Other: Vrekka keeps her identity secret from everyone. However, as a powerful Daemon, her disappearance will not have gone unnoticed. Other powerful Daemons, friend or enemy, may be searching for her still.

Age: Over 1,000 years old, though she appears in the prime of her life

Appearance: Anariel stands at 5'3", short by the standards of most races, with long golden hair and piercingly blue eyes. Her skin is fair and unblemished, giving her a beauty beyond that of the lesser races, and when shone on by sources of light, she radiates a glow back into her surroundings, gently illuminating her attire. Her four wings are a brilliant, pristine white, with luminous golden color running along the edge of each and every feather, though it casts no visible light around her. Regarding her wings, there are a pair coming from her shoulders, slightly larger than the second pair, with the second pair sprouting from below the shoulder blade. When out and about, she is most commonly seen in armored attire, though the coverage is not complete to allow her to move freely. When spending her time guiding those who ask it of her, she is more often found in a simple white robe, worn almost like a toga, with golden embroidery along the hemlines and golden ornamentation to ensure it stays in place.
Equipment: Anariel bears few weapons, but all that she does carry with her when required are potent. Her most common items are her spear and her blade, both nameless. Along the blades of both are a series of immaculate runes, glowing as crisply blue as her eyes. Both weapons are enchanted to simply never lose their edges or to break, allowing the archangel to fight with them at full force instead of holding back because of poor material, though the base metal for each is bronze.

Combat Prowess: Despite her small stature, Anariel is extremely skilled in melee combat when wielding a spear or sword, and able to still perform well with any other melee weapons.
Spells/Powers: Anariel has the ability to manipulate light at a basic level, using it for its minor healing potential as well as for simplistic effects like changing the colors of things. Beyond that, she is the bearer of the power to control sound. She can flex and manipulate the sounds around her, both to allow her to quiet her surrounding, or develop highly-concentrated and directed missiles of sound waves. While not inherently lethal, the power is more than capable of performing the deed when needed.
Weaknesses: There is a point on her back, at the conflux where her four wings meet, that cuts her off from her magic for extremely long amounts of time. While physically very capable, Anariel has very poor social skills, and is frightfully hard to deal with at times. Mercurial, flipping from nearly heartless to simply apathetic in an instant, she is known for being extremely competent on the field of battle, but not much of a person to find yourself enjoying the company of elsewise.

Personality: Anariel is unlike many angels in that she does not focus on the hope that can be provided through the betterment of community. She is driven to see the perfection in things, to see the pinnacle, not the journey to get there. Having not had to do much in her life to keep herself in peak physical condition, and having never truly met a foe she could not conquer with time, the archangel has found that the world has lost some of its luster. She busies herself with watching the world's events pass by, her mind parsing the possibilities to keep her busy. Though there are few who have even gotten beneath the more callous social exterior, all have seen that beneath the beauty lies a soul who means to do right by others, and only desires that life in all forms reach its utmost point. Her goal is the peace and security that such perfection would bring.
Skills: As would be expected of someone with her powers, Anariel is an accomplished singer, capable of producing beautiful harmonic pieces while performing solo. In addition, she has spent time learning languages, and speaks several fluently.

Bio/History: Time, the one thing that the mortal life measures to gauge itself, passed her by like leaves falling on an autumn day. Anariel had lived for centuries, outliving all whom she'd been close to in those first dozen decades or so with the exception of her own species. Even among angels, she was an elder, having seen more of the world, and having watched New Eden sprout from nothing. When the time came to choose those from the host who would help guide the city, she volunteered, offering to teach her martial skills to any who would ask it of her. To generals she taught tactics, but as time passed, the need for such capabilities dwindled, and peace settled over the land. She often found herself hanging on the winds high above the world in those days, drifting among the clouds and trying to find inner peace. She never could. Having spent her youth learning the ways of war, Anariel was unable to simply lay down the sword when the wars ended, and it plagued her as the year began to grow long. She did her best to not become a recluse, but her survival had left her scarred, and there was fear in her heart that it would never pass.

Centuries passed, deepening her worry, until she truly opened her eyes and saw what New Eden had become. It was a wondrous place, full of love and life, an it inspired her that she could return to who she had been before. That light awoke in her a desire to be the perfect model, to guide the world itself to perfection, if she could. Though her somewhat anti-social mannerisms never left her, she did what she could to be the guide she desired to be.

Appearance: Unless his ability alters his physical form Vrah normally stands at 5' 11" and weighs between 205-215lb. When unaltered by his ability Vrah usually keeps his head shaved but will sometimes let it grow out long, he has silver eyes with white pupils and a hairless face, sometimes he will wear red war paint but not often. Vrah's body is well built because of the harsh environment he was brought up in and still to this day subjects himself to. Usually you will see him wearing minimal clothing because his ability constantly adjusts his body temperature according to the environment or situation.

Equipment: Vrah usually keeps two knives on him, the blades are around 8in long, he keeps them in sheaths connected on his waist behind him, the sheaths are connected to his pants belt. The blades have no name because they are often replaced, Vrah tends to use weapons of opportunity as much if not more than the knives he usually carries around an example of this would be a dead soldiers sword, his opponents own weapon if he can take it, even other random objects like a liquor bottle, chair, large rock etc whatever is around him that could be used to cause damage.

Combat Prowess: Hand to hand combat, weapons of opportunity, melee with knives, short swords, axes, bow and arrow, throwing knives.
Spells/Powers:
"reactive evolution" Vrahs body automatically adapts to any situation or environment he is placed in
Examples of his ability would be gaining night vision after a few seconds in the dark: gills after being submerged in water; fire proof skin after being exposed to flame; increasing his own intelligence when problem solving; no longer requiring oxygen after being sucked into space; being able to understand and speak a language merely by looking at written samples. His power may always react differently depending on the environment and or situation, If in a fight with a super strong opponent he may gain equal strength and the durability to become completely resilient to blunt force attacks or his body may become elastic and absorb the blunt force strikes etc.
His power can also work when dealing with non-immediately-life-threatening situations, such as rendering it impossible for him to get drunk by allowing his body to process alcohol faster than humans would normally.

Weaknesses: draw back of the ability would be say the mind is destroyed or injured to where he cannot process information his ability will not commence. Lets say my RPC is in the city and is surprised attacked he would be defenseless it would be the perfect opportunity to try and cut off his head or deliver a crushing blow to the head etc something to that effect that would normally kill a person, now say you surprise attack and stab him through the chest, it would immediately effect him but his ability would allow him to momentarily be granted regeneration to heal the wound while his body becomes say like colossus from x-men so that the weapon that stabbed him is now ineffective. There are moments in-between and before his body adapting where an opportunity to deal a deadly blow is possible but it must be capitalized on with speed, precision, and timing if you miss the opportunity you must force him to adapt yet again to expose another, the longer the fight lasts the harder it will be to defeat Vrah. Example of forcing Vrah to re-adapt and exposing his weakness would be when his body is turned to a form like colossus to protect him from the weapon and his body is something like metal fire can melt metal if it is hot enough so attacking with fire would cause him to re-adapt, he cannot remain metal and become fire proof he would begin to get red hot like a sword being held in a hot fire instead his body could become like brick or concrete still effective to protect against weaker people lacking the strength to cut through him but not strong enough to defend against a powerful foe, this would be a good time to attack his weak spot.

Personality: Vrah has a deep voice yet he is a bit hard to hear, he does not speak loudly often mostly because of his carefree attitude. He is a kind and humble man to those that are kind and humble, he will usually ignore ignorant people deeming them not worth his time and he will usually blow off the overly proud and power hungry people. Vrah is very focused on his goals and objectives he would rather go and hunt or train instead of going to the pub to socialize and relax, his philosophies are "endurance is strength" and the other is "if you learn to live uncomfortably you will be comfortable in the most uncomfortable of situations". Vrah Gets his rocks off facing things that strike fear into him, when he senses danger he will usually go towards it, happily and enthused at that. He has a close relationship with his parents and siblings, nobody could be a more loyal friend than Vrah if it comes to his life or that of his friends or family he will gladly give his to save theirs. He is the type of person to fight on the front lines and be the last to leave the battlefield so that others may escape unless his mission is to bring back information that is more important than all of their lives including his own. Vrah will usually look blank or emotionless which could be one of two things, he is thinking hard or maybe he just has resting bi*** face, despite his blank expression i assure you he is very approachable if you yourself are friendly or an intellectual looking for a conversation... if you are looking to gossip you'll be ignored so do not bother.

Bio/History: The Story of Vrah actually starts with a woman named Sky, Sky is a magnificent hunter from New Edan gifted with longevity. Skys body stopped aging once she was a fully mature adult woman ( around 32 years of age ). Her body heals itself like a normal human, the only thing the longevity does effect is her strength and athleticism as long as she continues to train the stronger she will become. Skys hunting abilities are very advanced, she is proficient in using a bow and arrow with such grace and skill it is memorizing, her skills with a sword are not far off, but what is really impressive is her mind for tricks and traps. Sky had been hearing stories for years about an apex predator roaming the mountains of Oblitus it would kill many other beasts large and small yet many hunters would live through their encounters with it, some would not, the ones that did not flee and attempted to kill or capture this predator would loose their lives but if you were to flee it would not pursue you and it was reported the beast never attacked hunters first, it would only attack if attacked. Sky had been told this predator had been around for at least 100 years it had been said the creature had killed even the most large and dangerous creatures throughout Oblitus. She wanted to see this creature for herself, as a hunter of much renown and skill she wanted to capture this creature so she set out to find it. After months living off the land in Oblitus Sky was almost prepared to give up the search and go back home to New Edan, she had decided this would be her last night in Oblitus. Sky made a hammock high up in the tree's after putting out her fire and eating her dinner, a small creature she had caught earlier that day. Laying in the hammock half asleep she heard a loud roar, this roar was one of pain, it turned from a roar to a cry and from a cry to silence, whatever made that noise was huge... it sounded like a large predator. Sky waited until morning to find the source of the noise she had heard the night before and what she came upon while searching was the corpse of a huge beast so mangled she could not identify it but she could tell it was a predator from its large sharp teeth. A trail of blood and guts led her to a nearby cave she was hesitant to enter, so instead she found some brush about a quarter mile away and hid there waiting for some sign of anything living in the cave, she readied her bow and had some special arrows she planned on using, the arrow heads where replaced with round bulbs filled with a chemical concoction she had made, it very powerful hallucinogenic and when it entered the bloodstream would take effect in minutes. As the sun went down Sky finally heard a noise in the cave, something was running out of it, she hid in the brush as the creature came out. Standing in front of the cave stretching was a humanoid covered in black fur standing about 6' 7" and by its mass she would say it weighed around 400lb, it sniffed the air and looked right toward her direction. This creature squatted low to the ground then leaped through the air right in her direction landing only a few feet from the brush. Sky jumped out shooting a normal arrow at the creature attempting to graze its arm and open a wound immediately after she shot an arrow with a bulb filled with a hallucinogenic hitting the same spot on the creatures arm, Sky ran right past the creature as she attacked, the creature stood in place looking a bit bored and confused. Sky was worried it's skin was to thick or dense to pierce with her bow and it was possible her attack had no effect, she took out another arrow, this one had a large bulb on it about the size of a tennis ball it was filled with acid, she took aim at the creatures face and at that moment the most unexpected thing happened, the creature spoke in her language with a deep yet clear voice, it sounded almost human " Give me a moment to reveal myself to you." The Creature sat down on the ground as Sky stood motionless, startled, and confused, it shed all of it's fur, shrunk a good seven inches and it appeared about 200lb smaller.... and the it was a he she could tell because HE was completely in the buff. A man sat before her, a human man strongly built with skin light brown like her own a long braided beard the same went for his hair which was as black as the fur he had shed. The man before her was revealed to go by the name of Dyrio, he was born in Oblitus and had an ability he called reactive evolution, he was 143 years old at the time they met and she herself was much younger than him at the age of 44. Dyrio had lived in Oblitus his entire life growing up in a small village at least when he was not living off the land hunting and killing dangerous beasts, he was not as educated as the people from New Edan but he was very philosophical, he was intelligent in his own right. Sky and Dyrio ended up become mates and bore a son they named Vrah, Dyrio moved to New Edan with Sky and they opened up a Butcher shop to sell the meat of the creatures they killed. Vrah grew up with his parents Dyrio and Sky frequently taking him into Oblitus to live off the land and fight dangerous beasts, he learned to hunt and kill just about every beast known and not known to human kind. Vrah became a very efficient and deadly hunter, when he grew to be a man he decided he wanted to be a warden and protect humankind from deadly beasts of all kinds even if it was other humans with evil intentions or angels and daemons. Vrah is now 70 years old, a very experienced hunter and a proud defender of the defenseless, he has two brothers and a sister all younger than him, his sister is the middle child, Vrahs parents still own the butcher shop in New Edan with the help of their other three children.

@jekyllsotherhalf: One thing I'd like to add is that please work with your fellow writers in OOC when it comes to a fight with your abilities. I don't want this to be a competitive RP anyway, so everything should always be collaborative, but we really do need to work together on limits for your powers at times. I don't want to run into a situation of your character being able to just godmod adapt to everything. My way of thinking is that if your character got double teamed by two powerful foes, they would be in trouble because they'd have to try and adapt to multiple situations hitting them at the same time. And obviously a set of characters exist which there is no way your character could match their power level outside of hanging by a thread in holding them off for a few minutes.

Appearance: Usually disguise as a tall 12 year old with tan skin having red hair and red sunken eyes with a bulky build wearing gathered rags. His demon form consists of a large terrifying dark-grey body (12 feet tall) with long bulky arms with black scales that go to the hands, the legs are covered by dark hair and the feet have two toes and and one in the back, his head having grown 2 glowing red horns that smoke with hell fire, his eyes are have a amber iris with a red tint looking like flames with the face resembles an oni having 2 small fangs poking out the bottom of his mouth and his hair being a tangled mess still retaining the red color.
Equipment: spiked knuckles.


Combat Prowess: Wroth gets right into the action using hard hits and savage tactics.
Spells/Powers: His magic is very limited only being able to repeal mental attacks, Disguising himself as a child ,grabbing enemies that are not physical, and a having a heightened awareness however his physical abilities more than make up for his lacking in mystical abilities. His strength is unnatural even for a powerful Daemon, able to throw, tear apart, and Destroy anything in his grasp while taking as much punishment as he dishes out. His blood is like liquid fire if he skin is pierced the blood that flows out will burn like fire or melt anything depending on how angry Wroth is at the time.

Skills: Tracking, cooking meat, Remembering faces.

Weaknesses: He might be a wall of power but his limited intelligence makes it easy to trick and manipulate him.

Personality: Wroth is very very short tempered, malicious, cruel, and has the tendency to go off on psychotic rants on someone if they say something that displeases him usually these rants will have death threats, words he docent know the meaning of, and sometimes just incoherent gibberish that only makes sense to him. He views humans and anything he considers below him to be just play things for his amusement, also he is known to be quite the drinker and is the only time he appears to be docile but he could still kill you on mistake if you get to close.

Bio: Not much is know about Wroth other than he lives alone in the slums though no one quite knows why since he is a very powerful Daemon, though honestly most just try to stay clear of him. He usually gets hired by someone to either kidnap or kill, a target.

Kitsunes are spiritual creatures, every kitsunes has a form of a tie to the world. The tie is potentially important to them: and can bring either immense happiness, or equal sorrow.

If this tie dies, so does the kitsune. If the kitsunes dies, the tie is alright.

That is the explanation to why some disappear: i.e. Esra' father.

Family:
( For these characters, I will make a chapter after this that will mention them and explain some basic information. )

A father, he abandoned her with her mother and older brother at a young age.

A Mother: Caren, very similar to her son in looks but obviously feminine.

A Brother: Jasper, he is protective but no longer able to stick around with his little sister due to his own family. * he has a son and wife. *

History:
No one ever took her kind seriously! When her father was with his wife and their two young children, he was trying to promote their kind as being able to be as great as anything else. However, no one looked well upon the bushy tailed and eared kitsune male, and so he left everything he loved behind to try somewhere else.

Esra's mother went into a stage of sadness for a short amount of time, before lifting her head up and realizing that what came first now were her two babes. So, she got her own work, often going to a field or hunting: She became quite the powerful woman.

But, due to the woman having to do so much work, she left one thing important behind with her children. They were well fed, clothes, they had everything they needed but a role model. Esra's brother tried his best to show her to be a good example, and not to turn out like their father, but the female just gradually became more and more like the vanished fox demon every day.

By the age of 7, she had already began conning grown men and women out of their belongings, and by 9 she had managed to land something else: a new home for her family. Her mother was not happy with this, but they did move in quickly as their old home got burnt down by an accident. ( If needed this accident will be mentioned and unraveled through the roleplay. )

Now, the young and grown female is the master of lies: rather cliché for a fox creature, she knows, but she did not mind. Esra was proud of herself and ready to set off on an adventure to find out the hidden treasures of the world.

  • demons : "What right do they have to out con a Vixen like me!?"
Strengths:
Fast on her feet and easily fits into small spaces, best in Urban environments, best when it comes to poisons or distant attacks.
Weaknesses:
Worst on close combat and fighting with bows, not used to Rural areas, fields are not great for her due to not being able to use her speed at rounding sharp corners! Cause there are none!

Abilities:
Though she does not especially have any unlocked abilities that are magical, she does have the below:

  • Spiritual Healing: able to mend wounds, mainly small ones though.
  • Reading Emotions: she can easily tell how others feel
  • Illusions : these do not last more than a minute though and are not very powerful

Appearance: Dareth stands at 6'1 and is toned and thin. He weights about 209 pounds, most of his mass being muscles. He has dark brown hair, that fall to his shoulders, wavy and always messy. While he is considered to be very handsome, his most prominent feature being his eyes: crimson red and piercing. He has a handsome, easy-going smile complimented by his short scruffy beard, giving him a nonchalant look. He has only a handful of scars adoring his body, as he rarely gets hit. He's most often dressed in a combination of black and red.

Viola is Dareth's lute.

While it's very average looking, somehow the melodies and the sounds it produces are heavenly.

The wood is crimson red with white outlines. There are small, barely noticeable engravings whose meanings remain unknown. Gossips say that the lute is enchanted.

Dareth never once told whose namesake it's holding.

-Denrim
A finely made sword from unknown materials. His father's parting gift, Dareth named this sword after him.

While the weapon itself is of a simple design and look, it's incredibly sturdy and never dulls. It's somewhat thin and of average lenght, incredibly light. The handle is pure white and never gets dirty.

Dareth believes it might be magically enchanted.

-Knives
While Dareth is a honorable duelist, he keeps two small knives hidden on the sides of his boots.

These two knives are as average as they come, used only in a very dire situation. As he says: "I'm honorable, not stupid."

-The "handsome devil" armor
You wouldn't call it an armor on the first glance.

Made of the finest materials, this armor is non-flammable and sturdy. It often seems like strikes just "slide off it", and at times it's hard to guess if it's really because of the armor or Dareth's finesse. Given to him by a rich patron, this armor has an extremely elegant design and flexibility. It's purely black and slick, slightly shiny.

"You look like the Devil himself.", the patron said. They died not long after that remark, but Dareth is flattered none-the-less.

-The Amulet
The only thing he has to remember his mother by, this amulet is pretty plain looking. It's a small crystal of white and black, that slightly illuminates when in dark.

While many believe that it might be enchanted, Dareth never cared. He has never once taken it off, believing that one day it will guide him to his mother.
Combat Prowess:
-swordsmanship

Taught most of his life by his father, outrageously talented warrior, Dareth is a force to be reckoned.

While he was taught of to effectively wield most blades (especially two-handed swords), he found his preference in duelist swords and knives. While his father refused to train him in such style (considering it unhonorable), the had changed his mind after one hell of a sparring session.

While Dareth can deal powerful strikes, he refrains from doing so, dealing weaker, swifter strikes to the vital points in a very dance-like fashion. He's exceptionally skilled at riposting and dodging.
His reflexes are so fast he can split an arrow shot at him.

-hand to hand combat
While not trained in hand to hand combat, Dareth is a surprisingly adaptable opponent. He used to get into fistfight a lot when he started his bard career, however nowadays he prefers using weapon.
Still, his finesse and critical thinking can allow him to surprise his opponents and use their strength in his favor.

-ranged weaponry
Dareth can efficiently throw knives, but there are far more talented folks in that field.
He also often tried to learn how to fire a bow, often leading him to almost murdering few high ranking individuals by "freak accidents".
He'd be dead if it wasn't for his popularity. This is truly his anti-talent.

Spells/Powers: While Dareth cannot use any magic, he's resistant to most of mind-altering spells, meaning he cannot be probed and controlled by most spellcasters.
Weaknesses: His only physical hindrance is his addiction to a psychedelic drink, the 'Devil's Spit'. If not given a dose once per three days, he enters an abstinence stage where his focus slips and his precision falters. He also becomes far more erratic and explosive.
Mentally, Dareth is a very flawed individual. His main weakness is his need for acceptance and love, this being the only possible way how to truly manipulate him.
He also mainly specializes in dueling, meaning that more than two enemies at one time will make him differ from his usual, perfected routine. His ranged combat skills are lacking as well.
Personality:
Dareth is a complicated person, to say at least.

In public, he's mainly outgoing, friendly, witty and kind. He's that type of a person who can befriend you with ease, no matter your background. While he is very manipulative, he mainly uses these analytical skills to befriend people, not to use them. He's curious by nature, often spending his time with both rich and poor, evil and good. He rarely ever judges someone, believing that there is "a little of both Aditi and Lucifer in us all."

In private, Dareth tends to be melancholic and often depressed. He has some serious daddy issues and struggles with his own feelings. While he doesn't bother to show it often, he is a deeply caring individual. He's also exceptionally smart, but rarely chooses to use his intelligence outside of combat and arts, two things he believes he lives for.

He knows a lot of people, but he rarely lets them get close enough to get to know him. He prefers people to know the image of himself that he has created rather than the young, confused man that he truly is.

While I wouldn't say he's a sexual predator, he sure isn't a saint either. He likes to engage in sexual experiences, but deep down he knows that it's only a way to suppress his need to be loved and understood. But it sure is a nice way how to do it.

Dareth is an exceptional musical genius. He can play most of the instruments known to man, but his lute playing skills are unrivaled. His voice can be anything he wants it to be.

While he mainly utilizes this in singing, he's a great impersonator and can imitate all voices imaginable. He can also hold his breath for a few minutes.

-renaissance man
Can expertly paint, write and is educated in most aspects of science.

-psychology expert
He's extremely good at seeing through people. Even though he wouldn't admit it, most people are his playgroung.

-fluent
Dareth is fluent in most languages known to man.

-honed reflexes
Being focused is always in his interest, given his fighting style and his ability to play the lute in just about every situation. He can sober up under any circumstances, the only exception being his abstinence stage (see weakness).
Bio/History:
Born somewhere in Oblitus, he was raised by his father. His father, a devout believer in Aditi, trained him in the art of combat and surviving wilderness.

When he reached the age of ten, he and Denrim moved into Abaddon. While Dareth greatly enjoyed the social and artistic freedom presented to him by the city, his father loathed it. Dareth soon started learning and educating himself, even got himself enrolled at a prestigious art college. While Denrim still trained him in combat, he mainly supported him in his academic ventures. Dareth somewhat struggled, as he was the only human with no connections in the school, but his skills had to be acknowledged in just a few years.

Five years later, the two have grown apart, Dareth becoming a part of the city Denrim hated. While Dareth became somewhat renowned in the city as one of the finest bards, he also became more defiant, believing in his own free will above all.

He became a skilled duelist, utilizing his training in his own ways and perfecting it to suit him specifically. His father disapproved of his son's decision, training him in such arts only after being defeated by Dareth. Impressed, he trained him in the Dance of the Dead (a rather obscure, fluent fighting style). While Denrim himself wasn't precisely skilled in the art, Dareth has soon adapted key features and integrated them onto his techniques.

Four years later, at age of nineteen, his father left Abaddon to "... right his wrongs."
By then he had no worries of his son, Dareth being the most prolific bard of the city, and a more than efficient warrior.
Struggling with the fact that he'll have family no more, Dareth asked his father about his mother. They never spoke about her. Denrim never allowed it. "She lives.", he's spoken hoarsely and departed, disappearing out of Dareth's life.

Since then Dareth perfected both his duelist and bard skills. But he has done numerous mistakes as well. He developed a habit of spending time drinking and became morally grayed, however he is still a very good person deep down. He has also developed an addiction for 'Devil's Spit' and became a prominent womanizer.

Other: Both of his parents might yet play an important role in his story, as well as his amulet, that will be mainly depending on his ability to stay alive and on GMs.




Let me know if I should nerf some things, especially combat wise! I don't want an OP character, just one who could go toe to toe with a daemon should the opportunity arise! :)
