@TMITM

It is a magical body fuelled by the user's hate, anger and determination. When this magic is used, the gist takes the appearance of the user. The appearance of the actual gist is far more animalistic. In the case of Shudder's gist, longer hair, sharper teeth and claws.

A Gist can only be let out of the user's body for a limited time for two reasons:

  1. Due to the fact that using this magic takes a toll on the users body, the Gist is used mostly as a last resort.
  2. If a Gist is let out of the user's body for too long, the Gist will take over, causing the user to be trapped inside the Gist, instead of the Gist being trapped inside the user.

This branch of Adept magic is virtually unstoppable. The only way the user can be harmed is through the tiring work of controlling the Gist, or if the enemy manages to get past the Gist to attack the user.

The Necromancers in Skulduggery Pleasant had the power to control death. Serpine used Necromancer methods to make the White Cleaver, and it was implied that they would be able to further stretch those powers.

For offensive purposes, they control Shadows to do their damage. The shadows seem to congregate in their chosen weapon - for example, Wreath's cane is shrouded in darkness, and when it strikes it seems to inflict the darkness upon whatever it comes into contact with. Other forms of combat by shadows can be found in Wreath's male companion's pistol, which fires bullets made from shadows, the female companion who has a cloak made of shadows and Valkyrie's ring. Serpine however, instead of manipulating shadows is able to torture and kill people by pointing at people with his skinless right hand.

Another ability is shadow walking, this is a power similar to teleportation, but with a much shorter range, it is shown that the caster creates a wall of shadow and steps into it, appearing somewhere else.

Another ability that Necromancers can potentially have is nicknamed Death Bubble. It involves the necromancer reaching out to the person around them in a bubble like fashion, and then drawing the bubble back in, taking their lives with the bubble. Only two known people have achieved this: Vile and Melancholia.

It also is implied that Necromancers with potentially Death Bringer power levels contain their powers in an object that is easy to use and access, as Vile had his Armor, which remained on him at all times, and Melancholia St Clair had her necromancy inside her.

Like I said before, half-assed profile just to start things off. Tell me if I need to change shit.

Given name: Dame Noche

Taken name: Damned Day

True name: Daimadey Noche - Word play on the plant named Dama De Noche

Nickname/Alias: Dame

Age: Appears to be in his late twenties

Gender: Male

Discipline of Magic: Necromancy

Personality:
Dame is a two-faced sociopath who just really does not understand what the flummery is happening with this silent war but still chooses to join.

To anyone who sees him in public, he is quite cheerful and friendly. Making friends with him is very easy. Just smile to his direction and he would saunter over for a little chat.

In the confines of a dark room, his true nature comes to life. He is rather sadistic and indulges on pain and suffering. His usual hobby is to watch his victim's will to live dwindle down to nothing but acceptance. Why he was never caught? Victims are not always found and there is no particular connection from victim to victim.

History:
Ironically, Dame grew up in a where the sun always shines and where the water greet you like a friend. The place, where the gentle yet cold waves of the ocean battled out with the raging fires of the earth, had awakened the boy’s curiosity about contradicting characteristics.

His fascination with the macabre was rooted by the stories by the village elders to keep the children fearful of the unknown. It has molded him on he was as of recently.

With the village still practicing some of the old ways, Dame was trained to become one of the warriors of their generation. He enjoyed the training, filling his lanky body with muscles and gaining the ability to react quicker. His favorite time growing up was the annual Lang-ay [get together]. He and another young warrior would enter the stage and would perform an impromptu theatrical fight where both power and grace was shown.

Occupation: Profiler

Extra:

  • Like his name suggests, Dame rises with the stars instead of the sun. He is more productive during the night time and would usually be so lazy during day. Depending on the day, his focus and productivity is affected. He is passionate on everything he does but also tends to suddenly drop everything and shift to another project.
  • Speaks in rhymes just to challenge himself and to make sure he watches his words. If his statement comes out as not poetic, this means that he is really pissed.
  • He is a good listener and would even help one in their troubles but would also tend to be highly sadistic. His sadistic tendencies would worsen if he actually sees blood but would suddenly go back to normal after satisfying his blood lust.
  • The object he places his power in is a necklace.
