Please note this thread is going to be for all of my characters. So far I don't really have artwork for them unfortunately, so I've just placed them in spreadsheets. I hope you find them useful. I'll start with my newest and then my oldest ones. Here we go.

Occupation: Jedi Knight
Class: Jedi Consular
Allegiance: Jedi Sage

Lightsaber:

Hilt: longer than of most sabers, adaptable, has something like specific grip for each finger and a specific thumb rest right next to the on/off button.
Button: front position (it's near the ring for the blade)
Power Crystal: natural Tythonian kyber
Focusing crystals: Opila, Sigil
Blade: single
Blade color: green

Fighting style: preferably Form 7 Juyo.
Force powers: Most of the basic and neutral force powers, also: Turbulence, Guidance, Rebuke, Sonic Charge, Insight, Seethe, Slow, Feedback, sometimes Rage.
Other abilities: can fight in of all 7 forms of lightsaber combat, may happen to master them during the RP.

Backstory:

Viknid was born on Alpherdies, but his father foresaw his future in the Jedi Order. Thus he requested that his gets taught in the temple on Tython. His master was a Mon Calamari called Murak Bezeera. Viknid actually graduated quite early into the rank of Padawan and was promoted to Knight aged only 19 after his heroics in different battles. His potential wasn't to be unnoticed.

The first one was a battle on a Republic ship above Tibrin. Master Murak was leading an operation, involving some problems with mercenaries, probably Mandalorian. The Mercenary ship attacked Murak's and the mercenaries managed to board it. The Jedi Master was heavily injured and unable to fight. Viknid managed to weather the skirmish and save everyone on it from the mercenaries, including his master. Eventually they all made it safe. Master Murak was healed and from then on he never stopped praising his student.

Another act of heroics for him was when they went with his master to recover some old journals of Revan. Master Murak seemed to like the fact his padawan liked listening to those. They never suspected they'd fight a large number of vornskrs on the way.

The battle that made the Jedi consider knighting him was on Raxus Prime. The Republic had established a base of operations and was using the planet as place for designing new battle ships, since it seemed war was raging again. Coruscant had lost contact with the base and had feared the worst. The base was found with no one inside and stormed by Imperials. It was Viknid, who sensed the disturbances, even though his master was determined the base should stop functioning. The young Miraluka however insisted to look for survivors. It was a good idea as eventually they managed to rescue a lot of soldiers and engineers. Before they could reach them though, Viknid turned out to face a Sith Assassin. He told the prisoners to flee and even defeated the enemy completely on his own. Master Murak noticed that Viknid had disarmed the opponent, but was refusing to kill him. After imprisoning the assassin, the two returned before the Jedi Counsil and Murak insisted that Viknid gets knighted, despite his age.

Even if the Jedi knighted Viknid at early age, they still are concerned about what would become of him. He doesn't seem to follow the Jedi Code strictly, even goes out of the way at times and gives freedom to his emotions. He also seems to be very aggressive in combat. What calms them is that he always gives his opponents enough chances to surrender and also never kills an unarmed opponent. There are more, but still Viknid seems to constantly flirt with the Dark Side. To him all is the will of the Force channeled through him. Master Murak doesn't seem to be too much bothered since to him Viknid is the greatest Jedi he has ever known. "As he is knighted now, he will save billions of lives. He has always been doing this. He sees things none of us see and approaches battles in ways none of us would. He has been like a Jedi Knight ever since I took him."

What is this character designed for:

The character is intended for use around 3500 BBY. This timeline seems quite unexplored and seems a flexible part. Any heroes and villains can be inserted. He is adaptable, but this is the intended timeline. I could use him in another, but I'd like to rule out post-Order66 survival. He would have survived Order 66, but is basically unplayable at later years, cause most likely Darth Sidious or Jerec would have killed him. So let's place the RP before the movies and preferably before the times of Darth Bane.

So can we use art pieces to photographs to portray our characters we play as?

I think yeah in general. But I'd like to ask users to be patient with the comments and let me post everything first. I'm going to say when I'm ready, cause I'm getting tired now.

Science Fiction, customized universe.

It's at least the 28th Century and humankind finally has found ways to other worlds and has begun colonizing them. These role-plays will take place in an unknown galaxy, surely away from the Milky Way. Humans have founded a few inhabitable and even a few settled planets. To some, they're welcome, to some they're not.

The planet Swerve is one of the biggest human colonies. The locals are quite divided on the question if humans should be allowed as friends or not. It turns out however that humankind finds itself in an intergalactic war they knew they shouldn't have messed in.

In fact a century ago the aliens from Swerve had found the Earth and only thanks to their technology and communication between them and the Earth humans managed to get that far in space, not knowing those aliens actually were in war with at least two other planets around - Ziggu and Gallunthum. Ziggu also was partly colonized by humans, but the locals weren't as friendly there. But aliens from Gallunthum are very cruel. They not only have poisonous slime, but they also use weapons to mix it with perfluorooctanoic acid and shoot those mixtures towards enemies. That makes it highly toxic and dangerous for not only humans, but also most other beings.

One of the few space marines hired to protect the humans, mostly those on Swerve, is Lieutenant Mortimer Wilkie. Going by callsign "Mord" he is a part of the forces, specified for the heaviest cases. (Or the special forces sometimes.)

Name: Mortimer Wilkie
Callsign/ Alias: Mord
Age: Discussable, but never less than 25!
Profession: Soldier
Rank: Depending on age, usually Lieutenant
Height: 6'5 or 195 centimeters
Weight: 233 LBS or about 105.5 kilograms
Hair: Black
Eyes: Brown

Abilities:

  • Can use many different weapons, ultimate gun specialist
  • Good at military tactics
  • Exceptional survival instincts
  • Can drive a tank
  • Can fly an airplane

Persona: Decisive and always on the move. An active person. Compassionate and always willing to help. A rarely seen soldier with a good heart.

Even if he feels quite big in terms of abilities, he's somewhat a jack of all trades - capable to do a lot, but not really a master of anything. Could work in different rps.

Here come a few of my Medieval fantasy characters.

Admand of Nightheaven and Ryles is the crown prince of Great Arcan and Channon. He is the pride of both kingdoms. And does his best to serve this pride. Top notch when it comes to chivalry, politics and nobility. He has shown skills in combat, but has been yet to commandeer an army. And with age time seems to have come.

Physical data:
Height: 6'1
Body shape: athletic
Hair: glossy brown
Eyes: blue (blue like the shining mountain lakes)
Skin tone: white

Clothes: usually wears suits and other clothes of silk. Usually made by elves, dwarves or halflings. Elven forge of sword and crossbow, as well as the longbow. Dwarven forge of armour and shield.

Abilities:

  • Initially skilled in combat with sword, crossbow and longbow. Not that good with spears and long weapons
  • Possesses a few minor healing powers and good knowledge of herbal medicine.
  • Can communicate with dragons. In some rps may even ride one.
  • May turn out to be a perfect military leader and tactician, but as we said he's yet to be in command.
Usual age I start him at: 18-22. Could be older in some rps and may have had a few battles already.
Persona: Outgoing, cheerful, a thinking person. But when needed, he can become very upset and you better not be around him if he gets so.

Makhri ibn Solmyr Barad is the illegal son of Solmyr ibn Vali Barad, one of the High Genies. Because of that he grew up in hiding among demons, undeads and other entities. His mother, a powerful sorceress, taught him magic in his childhood. Aged seventeen he had nothing more to learn from her and was let to leave her home. Now he wanders the world searching for knowledge and wisdom.

Physical data:

Height: 6'6
Body shape: Well toned and agile.
Hair: black (as black as tar)
Eyes: very dark
Skin tone: dark, almost black (something like the Ethiopian ethnicity)
Clothes: usually wears a white coat of thick cotton, a shirt and dark cotton pants with light leather shoes.

Abilities:

  • Nature manipulation - can summon fire, water, manipulate them, manipulate ground and air too. Usually does it to give his party advantage in combat.
  • Fire aura - protects him from cold, uses it only when highly necessary
  • Fire shield - same as the latter, but also can protect him from physical attacks. This doesn't mean he's invincible, he's just harder to get to than most people.
  • Various fire spells and attacks. Same as that, he can also use air, ground and ice as attacking sources, but usually it's fire
  • Summoning different creatures and entities. Usually wolves, tigers, unicorns, griffins and phoenixes
  • Can manipulate the luck of his friends and party, as well as his enemies
  • Can predict the next moves of his opponent and always can react first. Avid chess player as well
  • He still hasn't mastered the art of hypnosis, but may happen to use it at some point
  • Doesn't possess genie powers due to not being a pureblood genie - no shapeshifting, no teleportation, levitation, summoning of illusions etc
Persona: He's a thinking person. His decisions always have a lot of planning beforehand and are usually well taken. He's emphatic and often aids people and entities in need. Isn't bound to any religion, dogma and country - to him the world is equal.
I usually start him aged 18, but may be older.

Ralic is a son of a human man and a halfling woman. That reflects in his height, some of his behaviour and his vision over the world. However, he's odd because his lineage knows no one before him to have had magical powers. Therefore he spent the majority of his childhood in the Mage Tower to study this art and become a mage one day. He seems to need lots of time out of it though. Will his graduation support him with it?

Physical data:

Height: 5'
Body shape: slender
Hair: light, almost blonde
Eyes: blue
Skin tone: light
Clothes: white shirt, sometimes with a brown hood above, red breeches. Never wears shoes or socks, part of his halfling ethnicity.

Abilities:

  • Nature manipulation - can summon fire water, ground, air and manipulate them
  • Summoning creatures and entities. Usually wolves, tigers, unicorns, griffins and phoenixes. May also summon gigamantises and can communicate with Earth Dragons.
  • Creating illusions - sometimes this is a viable ability while fighting as well
  • Ice attacks
  • Magical punch
  • Telekinesis - not mastered yet
  • Can boost the luck of his friends and party, but not demoralise the enemy
  • Levitation and teleportation - only temporarily, so he uses it only in short distance
  • Magic mirror - can reflect spells cast on him
  • Hypnosis - not mastered and may not master it for a very long time
  • Despite looking relatively defenseless he actually is skilled with a knife. Also is a good shooter and hunter with a sling.

Persona: Somewhat warped by his power. Yet he possesses the usual halfling positivity and stubbornness. And of course, could be romantic.
I usually start him at age of 16 and above.

Now some time for my modern characters.

On a birthday party of one of her friends Melissa Thornton met George Mix. At the time she was 13 and he was 16. Sparks flew between them and very soon they were dating each other. A small setback happened when they found out they were going to be parents a year after. Their child was a boy, called Alan.

Melissa and George managed to raise Alan, even though they had to work while in school to get some help. Eventually their parents also were helping. In the end both parents graduated and Alan successfully was enrolled in one of the best London schools. He even was enrolled in the youth academy of Arsenal, one of the big football (or soccer if you prefer that way) teams in the city. All changed a month before Alan's 8th birthday.

Melissa and George were caught inside a chain car crash. Both lost their lives in it. It was very difficult to take on by Alan. He closed himself. He knew he would miss them forever. All his happiness seemed to have gone.

Melissa's sister, Caitlin and her husband Bill Phillips took Alan under their wing and decided to care for him after the agreement of his grandparents. They helped him get more motivated and calm down. Soon he renewed his training in Arsenal and he felt like he was happy only while playing football. He got better and better at training. His speed and technique were astonishing and with all that he also possessed powerful shot, but also good tactical thinking. As he was not growing up very tall, it seemed like the flank was his place. What was interesting was that he was completely ambidextrous. Another person, who helped Alan feel some joy in life, was his best friend Rupert Townsend.

Alan's life would change drastically as he would approach his 20s since football seemed to be more and more likely to become his job. At that age he even helped England win the Under-20 World Championship with two screamers in the final. How will his life continue?

Appearance and stats:

Name: Alan Mix
Nationality: UK/England
Age: depending on role-play, never less than 16
Hair: brown, curly
Eyes: brown
Notables: freckles on his cheeks
Height: 5'8 or 173 cm
Weight: 143 LBS or 68 kg
Voice: low straight baritone
Handiness and footedness: ambidextrous
Occupation: football player / student
Team: Arsenal
Position: left / right back / midfielder, central midfielder
Persona: Shy and calm, helpful and big hearted. Often cries, because he misses his parents too much.
Bio: His parents had him as teenagers, so he grew up penniless. They died before he could become 8 years old in a car crush. From then on the ball in his feet was all his happiness. He also fences to increase his balance and agility and swims for good stamina. Lives in London. (Permanent location.)

The role-play is intended to be played entirely in London, even if I've never been in that city.

Thibaut and Dianne Melkins met while at college and had two children. A girl named Audrey was the first and a boy named Joseph was the second. The place they had settled was Steinbach, Manitoba. Audrey and Joey had a happy childhood. Their favorite time was in the winter, when they could do snowball fights, skate and sometimes even play hockey.

Both were very sporty people. At first they started with figure skating, especially ice dancing. However, all changed as their teen years were approaching. Audrey was growing up very tall. The family explained this with a gene in Dianne's lineage. It was very likely that that happens to Joey too. And it did. With time Joey drifted towards ice hockey. He was fascinated by the sport even from earlier after watching a game between Jets and Canadiens. He seemed to turn out to have both the power and the technique to become a good player.

Joey and Audrey were split up as Audrey decided to study in Berkley. Joey also considered a college, but he was in the NHL draft even at age of 17. So he was already always ready to play in the championship.

Depending on the age the backstory may change. I'll explain when this character is picked.

Appearance and stats:

Name: Joey Melkins
Nationality: Canada
Age: depending on roleplay, never less than 16
Hair: light brown if there is any, he usually buzzes it off
Eyes: hazel
Notables: Enormous chin that accents his smile with dimples at the corners of his mouth.
Height: 6'7 or 200 cm
Weight: 182 LBS or 82.5 kg
Handiness and footedness: right
Voice: Deep bass
Occupation: Student/ Ice hockey player
Team: His current school/college team or a local NHL team
Position: Center
Persona: Cheerful and sarcastic, often coming off with a good joke. He's also very clever and maths was his favorite subject at school. Like a true Canadian, he speaks both English and French fluently. He's also very helpful and kind hearted, especially for people who are deemed 'different.' Never smokes, nor drinks alcohol.

Robin and Elinor Wright were Australian farmers. They waited for 8 years before finally they were blessed to have children. All of their siblings had had at least one before their blessing came. It almost killed Elinor, but in the end this blessing came in double when twins Leyton and Nathan were born on March 20th.

The two grew up in the sheep farm of his parents with the nearest town being 300 country miles away. That's how they had to study online and practically were home schooled. However, something was some sort of an attraction to them. Their father Robin had a guitar, nobody knows how it came to him. A classic guitar. What was also interesting was that their uncle Robin, who visited them often, also could play guitar. At times they tried to pluck the strings of the instrument. And with time it became more and more interesting to them. They started dreaming of having their own guitars and playing them.

Their dream came true when they reached the age of 11. Their uncle Dave was a cruise ship captain, so he had the money to sometimes buy them cool gifts from trips. That time he bought them guitars. As Nathan was right-handed and Leyton was left-handed, the guitars were respectively for right and for left hand picking. At first both started learning and found online guitar lessons. However, Nathan seemed to improve much faster than his twin brother. He even started playing songs that were a bit tough for beginners. However, at times Nathan was hearing Leyton could actually just play some of the rhythm and fill in for something like a bass part. That's how he asked him if he wanted that uncle Dave bought them basses too. Leyton agreed. And their uncle agreed. He bought them basses on his next trip.

Surprisingly, both started playing the basses and soon Leyton started improving much faster. They seemed like each had found his own instrument. Soon enough they started playing covers of different rock bands they were finding. All until their 15th year they never stopped improving and even wrote their own material. It was inevitable they wanted to become rockstars. It was inevitable that they leave the farm and go in the town. Both for better chances to start a band and for better schooling.

Uncle Dave came to help again. He allowed the twins to use his apartment in Adelaide, South Australia. High school wasn't as harsh for them as they would expect, but they were typical C- students. Music seemed to be their way of life. They managed to find a very interesting guy as a drummer - Kevin Muse, who was born with a hearing handicap. The band however, struggled to find vocalists. The two of them attempted to be the vocalists, but didn't like the way their voices sounded. They wanted someone with a higher voice than theirs. Nevertheless, they wrote many new songs.

Leyton and Nathan have a total of 9 cousins.

Here the story splits up. I'll add up to it if these characters get picked.

A few disclaimers:
  • Yes, I know the name typically is written "L-e-i-g-h-t-o-n". However, I met it for first time when I watched tennis as a kid and at the time Leyton Hewitt was one of the top players. For the record, I've never been his fan.
  • You never pick one or the other, you always pick both! These two are intended for role-plays with multiple characters.
  • The role-play can be held anywhere. May even have a part on Dave's ship.
  • I might also post the full family tree.

Stats and appearance of Nathan:

Nationality: Australia
Age: depending on role-play, never less than 16
Hair: long, brown, straight
Eyes: green
Height: 5'9 ½" or 177 cm
Weight: 157 LBS or 71 kg
Handiness and footedness: right
Instrument: guitar

Stats and appearance of Leyton:

Nationality: Australia
Age: depending on role-play, never less than 16
Hair: long, brown, straight
Eyes: green Nationality: Australia
Height: 5'9 or 176cm
Weight: 152 LBS or 69 kg
Handiness and footedness: left
Instrument: bass

Other differences between them:
  • Nathan has a beauty mark below his left eye, which is the most secure difference between them
  • Leyton is shy, Nathan is outgoing. But both are romantic
  • Leyton is more measured, Nathan is explosive
  • Leyton is more of a thinking person, Nathan is more of an acting person
  • Leyton has an a bit higher voice, but both sing in the same range. Both are bass-baritones
  • Nathan is more risk prone, but Leyton is "like fire"
I think these for now are enough. I guess I should only wait for approval and try and post here and there if needed. You can begin commenting now.

The bio of Viknid is updated due to some inconsistencies and facts I didn't know of. I would like to thank @Sanity43217 for pointing them out. I thought Jedi usually got knighted at age of 18, but it turned out to be a mistake.

Are we talking a copyrighted character or an original character? Also, why sending me this here, instead of in a PM?
