Once Upon a time, in a warded jar, a thaumaturge spawned a universe...
View attachment 9297

Now this universe was unlike any, as the rules would be different than most.
The worlds are the size of solar systems, and they would be crowded together around even more massive stars, all the while life would keep a realistic size, for micro sizes, but since this universe's scales are gargantuan in almost all aspects so life can get to scales straight out of one's nightmare.

As any universe that works with fundamental laws, This Thaumaturge decided to use this universe as a means of creating more life and more power out of their existence.

A fundamental species was grafted in the background matrix of this reality - The Arothai, he named them.

The matrix around which all life which aimed for dominance would revolve it's evolutionary patterns around.
This was a species of hermaphrodites, both sexes (male/female) were in one body with predominant female parts.

This was the simplest way of encouraging reproduction by eliminating the mating competition from biology.
The greater the numbers of intelligent life would populate this universe, the more power the Thaumaturge would accumulate for his purposes.

Though this would not concern the life of this universe as they knew nothing of a creator or that their vast reality was a mere half a meter high and a quarter wide magical Jar.

The Thaumaturge would reveal himself occasionally, choosing species and civilizations who seemed to struggle, to help them grow further, or to defend them against vast parasitical life which would threaten his creation.

This would, obviously spark vast religions and myths across the whole reality about a supreme being which had a purpose for all life, and who sat outside reality judging all who would stray from his plan, unknown as that might be.

Civilization rose and fell across eons upon eons of time.
Life would evolve, grow, become a civilization, ascend to higher realms of existence, or fall into perdition and chaos, loosing all touch with sanity and reality or simply perishing.

Wars were fought, civilizations were built, and gods were formed.

The universe seemingly still young - though being well within it's 789th billion year of existence - the only real consumption was when a chosen civilization blessed by the Thaumaturge would leave this universe to join the purpose of the creator.
This was because they would ascend in masses with their bodies, subtracting the ever increasing amounts of material from the universe.

New galaxies were formed, new matter was manifesting, and old parts of the universe were recycled, therefore, this reality still having countless eons of time for future creation and destruction.

Everything in here is in vast quantities, one galaxy having a minimum of one gogol solar systems to a galaxy as big and unimaginable as a gogolplex ammount of solar systems worth abominably big galaxy which would render the small ones into molecules compared to it's size.

Star systems hold hundreds of planets, and the sizes are as mentioned, a planet is from the smallest size - the size of a solar system - to the gas giants - the size of the Oort coloud.

View attachment 9303

Stars would be incomparably bigger.

Planets are so tightly packed together in a star system that they are always visible in clear detail both during day-time or night time in the sky.
View attachment 9304

the majority of life which evolved in this reality remained unchosen, as the Thaumaturge only returned to his Warded Jar, once or twice a day, but what for the Thaumaturge was only a day for this universe were hundreds of billions of years, during which the universe would evolve and increase in size, amount of matter and life.

And since all life is programmed to evolve to ever increasingly higher levels of existence, those Arothai who would reach the pinnacle of perfection in evolution, would remain unchosen and ascend on their own, but since they would have nowhere to go they would remain in the universe, expanding it's dimensional structure to welcome what would now be Gods and Demons.

View attachment 9305View attachment 9306

Heavenly realms where these ascended beings would harvest the perished souls of all life from past eons and recover them to a spiritual existence to be used for their purposes of increased power.

The Gods would find themselves still dedicated to the purpose of the Thaumaturge, of nurturing and expanding the universe, whereas the Demons, would devour and destroy anything in their path, trying to consume the universe.

These Demons would be the main cause for parasitical life as they would have evolved from beings who wouldn't reach the dictated form of the Arothai but still manage to ascend to Godhood and develop their own parallel universes within this Jar, just like the Gods.

In those realms, they would create their own horrific life which would cast doom on other realms and thus the Aeon of Gods and Demons rose.
Some Arothai would loose all hope believing that the Thaumaturge would never return or he never existed in the first place and descend into chaos thus becoming more demons.

Some Demons would reach enlightenment when the Thaumaturge did return and they would become Gods, caring agents of life, redeemed beings who would look after all life that they may never loose their focus.

End of Part 1
Wait for part2 cause i need more pics... :p

Part 2
Theme of this part - MYSTIC CROCK - Tempting Abyss (SHEEWTON rmx)

The Redeemed Demons would become Enders...
View attachment 9309

Beings of supreme power and authority which would rule over the Gods, and care for life in the universe at a more meaningful level than any God ever could imagine.

Due to their encounter with the Thaumaturge, they would now be unmovable forces which would use the power they consumed from the universe, when they were evil, to fuel it back into the multiversal property of the Jar, and sacrifice themselves almost entirely to multiply and enhance the amount of life the Jar can produce.

They would manage even the Gods who would ensure that vaster numbers of civilizations would follow their guidance properly to evolve and become Arothai in order to please the Thaumaturge and ascend into Goodhood instead of descending into darkness and become demons.

Some Enders though would become proud and think they could transcend the authority of the Thaumaturge and turn into even greater demons, the Oronoss
View attachment 9310

These beings would serve as tests for the loyalty of the good Enders until the Thaumaturge would return again and render judgement and upgrade his creation to cope with the ever increasing threats.

The Oronoss took it upon themselves to present themselves as The Thaumaturge to many realities within the Jar's Multiversal aspect, and having such powers at their disposal no Gods or Demons could discover their lies but rather everything was dependant on the return of The Thaumaturge for Judgement.

Eventually, as fate would have it, The Thaumaturge did return for another selection process and chose several Arothai civilizations from several realities within this, now 2 days old Warded Jar.

567.899.043 Universes and hundreds of Arothai civilizations per universe were now under the light of His will, with hierarchies of Gods and Enders to watch over their evolution and Demons cursed to act as their punishers in infernal realms should they decide to take their destiny in their own hands.

Some Oronoss were bent to the obviously unconquerable will of the true Thaumaturge, and forced to act as further fuel sources to the ever-expanding multiverse.
Others who would put up a fight, would be obliterated in a snap, their remains being used to create even more universes and fuel the depleted ones with more material.

As of now this is the status of the Warded Jar of The Thaumaturge:

  • There are civilizations of Chosen Arothai, which can be space faring, planet bound, or primitive beings
  • Civilizations of custom made beings, can be any form, but should be predominantly hermaphrodites as few creatures can evolve the normal male/female sex due to the fundamental laws of the universe.
  • Civilizations of Gods or Demons and Enders or Oronoss (Gods can be male and female easily as they are no longer part of the mortal coil which serves the purposes of The Thaumaturge, or at least not in the same way as the Arothai - Demons... eh... i mean they are manifestations of pure chaos... you can make them into a smudge of meaningless goo for all i care... Enders and Oronoss can be anything really since they are the highest tier of being)
  • Individual Characters - Gods/Demons/Enders/Oronoss... tell your story from the perspective of one single supreme being
  • Individual Characters from any civilization... Tell your story from the perspective of one mortal individual.
  • Civilizations of ghasts/shades or blessed souls - The heavenly and infernal realms of the spiritual side of this creation... Immortal beings serving a god/demon/ender/oronoss from deceased mortals from whatever civilization that was either obliterated in a cosmic war, planetary war, invasion, plague etc... or simple lost or saved souls from simple old age death or individual accident/disease...
  • Individual Characters from the spirit realm Ghast/shade/blessed soul etc...

If you want special perks and order and blessings choose to become a Chosen Arothai Civilization... there will be plenty of benefits! On the other hand if you want to play a harder game, you can create your own species and civ with your own spiritual/scientific/magical culture - Gods/Demons/Enders/Oronoss Hierarchies.... when things get started i will join with an initial civilization myself sooo...

Yeah also... make sure you design your location... i mean you can chose to be a civilization that owns trillions of galaxies within a universe or a civilization barely coming out into the stone-age and beginning it's journey into civilization... just some hints...

Remember the sizes of galaxies are unrealisitcally huge Googolplexes of solar systems per galaxy.
Planets are solar system sized behemoths and star systems have hundreds of such planets orbiting an even bigger star...

Whereas most sentient life, that is the fundamental model of life in this reality - The Arothai - are 2 meters tall (6 feet) humanoids... so plenty of space and huge worlds... just to stretch the imagination...

So the purpose of this RP is to create your civilization and expand in a strategy-like environment, where you are to face different supernatural and scientific forces that plague this endlessly expanding multiverse in the jar of the mysterious thaumaturge.

For example: you can start as a civilization late in it's development and old, owning trillions of galaxies, civilization - but due to the fact that the galaxies are so unrealistically huge (Googleplexes of stars) no civilization can conquer their own even dwarf galaxy without some supernatural intervention.

Therefore you are going to have a gods/enders/demons/oronoss hierarchies to rule over your people which helped them grow fast and well.

In the context of such a civilization it's going to have to be a Demon-ruled civilization as the scopes of the universe and the size of the galaxy can only be conquered via greed, war and an unsatiable lust for destruction and dominance and power - emotions only Demons (an anti-god abomination capable of true horrors).
Such vast civilizations will therefore be evil and parasitical targets for the wrath of the thaumaturge when-so-ever he might return.

On the other hand they can be ruled by an oronoss with demon civilizations under him/her/it and have an outward utopian and incredibly beautiful aspect, and an ordered society, but secretly abominably evil...

Realistically you can start with a civilization just entering the space-age, now learning to leave its solar system, and beginning expansion.
It can be under the influence of a god - a pantheon of gods - a hierarchy of gods or ender/enders. Or simply all by themselves learning the tropes of existence in space and, facing on their own, the savagery and hell of space when they encounter the abominations left by the demons.
Or simply expand until any challenge hits them whether magical or mundane. (so basically write even small posts, when you build another city, your population grows, you mine some resources and such stuff or if you colonize another planet, or send a scout to explore another system etc...etc...)

There is the opportunity to create a Chosen Arothai civilization, which are as big as an evil counterpart. with trillions upon trillions of galaxies under their rule, due to the help of the Gods to grow in a harmonious way, and the direction they are led by the ruling Ender or civilization thereof. (These are the only benevolent civilizations that are genuinely good and beautiful and ordered, all the while being so massive)

Chosen Arothai do not die normally, instead when they are given the deadly blow, they turn into pure energy and implode leaving the universe all-together to go meet the thaumaturge. Same if they meet their natural end of life through old age. They don't leave any body behind.

The Chosen Arothai have plenty of perks and benefits. They can be seriously expansive, as in not only span trillions of galaxies but also have expanded within other universes and even spiritual realms.

In here you can mix in the story of only one character living within your custom designed civilization, or create the story of a character within the civilization of another player if you wish, which will be facing different challenges in a vast universe.

Or simply play as just one character of your choice either in the main universe or in a parallel universe, eventually encountering all other players and all other challenges.

The main purpose can be said is strategy, aiming at expansion and growth.

The idea is to begin small and build your civilization into a massive empire spanning millions of solar systems, and conquering all threats, in order to attract the attention of the thaumaturge for the hopes of transcending this whole reality.

Though first a civilization has to figure out the myths laying around creation in order to discover the religion of the thaumaturge.

So there's a plot that can start anywhere.

But i will be starting with my own post as a guidance.

Here's a list of movies - books and games you can take elements from (but do feel free to add your own)

  • Harry Potter (all movies/books - and the games and unofficial fandom stuff)
  • Lord of The Rings (all movies/books even the hobbit - and the games and unofficial fandom stuff)
  • Star-Wars (All episodes and the unofficial fan-made stuff)
  • Star-Trek (All series/movies - and the games and unofficial fandom stuff)
  • Ben 10 (C'mon your gonna have to admit the concept is quite cool)
  • Spore (yeh the failed EA game which suggest you evolve your own species)
  • Warhammer 40K
  • Dungeons and Dragons
  • Amnesia - (Yes you can create horror stories, and you gonna have to if you plan on creating a civilization in any infernal realm)
  • Mirrors - (i do hate horror but it is going to have to be contrasted with the heavenly - make it realistic and all)
  • Stranger Things
  • Warcraft
  • Warframe
  • Call of C'thulhu (and any other Lovecraftean story - or fandom of)
  • Age of empires games
  • Stronghold games
  • Minecraft (Eh... i mean why not... except stuff isn't blocky in this universe cause duh)

So yeah, once another person shows interest i'mma start the game, then it will remain open for as many people as there are... dunno... there's no limit of players here.

So guys here's a resume of the way things work with life in le jar!

The Big T (luv the expression btw) Doesn't create anything directly he is the initiator of the universe and the collector of it's fruitage
He initiated the universe in his warded jar
then the universe evolved according to the rules written in stone (per say) by him
He grafted the Arothai shape and biology and destiny in the matrix of the universe
therefore as life evolves according to Darwinian evolution
slowly it supernatuirally get's shaped to end up looking and being like ze Arothai
eventually
but there's no set time when they will reach that form
it can happen as soon as they pass on from animal to sentient life
or trillions of EONS later after they dominate their galaxy
as evollution slowly does it's work
and the influence of the Big T
shapes and paints their biology to evolve.
And the blessings of The arothai
are a means of natural rewarding from mother nature
to signal that the species reached the desired form and biology
From there on, they can become Chosen when the Thaumaturge returns(edited)
or not and ascend by themselves into godhood instead of leaving the jar
and from then on the whole stuff continues
Gods can become Enders eventually
or fall indo madness and become demons
When Big T returns
most Demons find redemtion
and are turned into Enders
Enders then can become proud when big T leaves and turn into Oronoss
and so on and so forth
Ze Basics...

PS: Also there's the possibility that other lifeforms find a way to ascend before reaching The Arothai form and become demons or Mad Gods as a consequence... but mostly fall into insanity and become demons straight away...
And life can be created directly by a Demon/God/Ender/Oronoss... just in case
