The Brutes have a different array of weaponry that they bring into battle. Featuring different designs, they have a blend of physical and energy based weaponry as well as being capable of wielding the original Covenant Weapons.
Type-25 Carbine aka the Spiker or Spike Rifle
A hand-held weapon, the Spiker or Spike Rifle fires physical spikes into the target at a medium rate of fire, impaling the target and anything it makes contact with. The Spiker also comes with two attached blades at the front, doubling as a melee weapon if needed.
Type-25 Directed Energy Rifle / Jiralhanae Variant aka the Brute Plasma Rifle
The Brute version of the Plasma Rifle specialises in dealing more damage than it's counterpart but in return it overheats faster and recharges slower.
Type-25 Grenade Launcher aka the Brute Shot
The Brute Shot specialises in launching four propelled grenades into a target, causing a great deal of damage as well as a moderate amount of knockback. On the back and built into the weapon is a long curved blade which allows it to function as a deadly close-quarter weapon if needed.
Type-52 Pistol aka the Mauler
The Mauler is a hand-held shotgun pistol, capable of firing five spikes in a shotgun like cone towards a target. Unlike the UNSC Tactical Shotgun, the Mauler has good range and accuracy but still shares the same weakness at long range, but not as negative in Medium Ranges.
Type-2 Energy Weapon/Hammer aka the Gravity Hammer
The Gravity Hammer is the heavier Brute Variant of the Energy Sword, which functions more as a heavy weapon than a sword as it is swung to the ground to create a blast of gravity, dealing large damage as well as knocking the target back a fair deal.
Type-2 Antipersonnel Fragmentation Grenade aka the Spike Grenade
The Brute's unique grenade, the Spike Grenade sticks to surfaces after thrown and explodes in a ball of Spikes at the target area, making it a deadly Area of Effect Grenade. All Brutes carry these.
