Name: Loreth (no last name)
Age: Technically 4, almost 5 now
Height: 5'0"
Weight: Pushing 90lbs
Hair: dark blond
eyes: bright green/black
Race: were-raven
Gender: Female
Basic info: born a raven, she was found to have the curiosity, perseverance and aptitude needed for a corax and so Raven (who chooses all corax so nothing special there) picked her. Maturity hit (ravens mature quickly since they're birds) and the bird Loreth changed into the were-raven Loreth. Technically she's only about 4, her body and mind are fully mature she's just truly inexperienced. She's been living as a human for 3 years now. Thankfully, corax are granted the local language and can pick up new ones pretty quick so communication is not to much of an issue. Less thankfully, corax like to talk. A lot. About everything. Sometimes people have been known to feed her chewy candies to keep her quiet for a few precious minutes but then, with her sweet tooth, she may just talk that much for the candy. However, the corax's mind is a steel trap and everything she experiences she remembers be they pleasant or foul. If asked, and this is what her normal duties are, she can recall conversations she overheard and focused on using her Voice of the Mimic ability.
Abilities:
Razor Feather - Can draw a feather from a spacial tattoo on her right left forearm and make it extremely sharp for up to 15m. After that it starts to lose it's edge.
Eagle Sight - Like many birds, she had excellent vision. The side effect of this ability is it makes her eyes turn black like her bird form.
Dart - Throwing a razor feather, she can will it to not miss so long as her target doesn't move to much. Someone running away will likely dodge and of course, the farther the distance the easier it is to miss and the fact that her aim naturally sucks, this only slightly helps.
Voice of the Mimic- recall and recreate any sound. Yes, this includes car alarms.
Dead Sense - Can sometimes tell if someone has died nearby, requires a bit of focus.
Eyes of the Dead - eating a fresh corpse's eyes, she can see and hear their last few moments.
Shapeshifted forms:
Human: Messy dark blond hair falls in uneven lengths around a pointed face. Her eyes a bit small and her nose is a bit sharp but her smile is always bright to make up for it. In her hair she wears a feather charm with a bell that rings sometimes and others falls silent, all at her whim. She prefers to wear baggy cargo pants with pockets full of sweets, papers, trinkets and the odd paperclip that she just can't help but pick up. Jewelry is all mix matched, one large hoop earring sits opposite a set of dangling stars, mass of bracelets encircle tiny wrists while anklets lay hidden beneath folded up pant legs. One thing in common is every piece of metal she wears is silver and most of it bears a cross or other religious symbol. Corax, unlike werewolves, are weakened by gold which can burn their skin as evidenced by a burn mark on her lower left ribs.
Crinos form: Half bird, half woman, this form is brutal and ugly. Often called a harpy, her crinos form bears a raven's head on a humanoid body, taloned hands and feet are wicked sharp but clumsy on the ground. Her wings can become razor sharp for brief moments but not strong enough for true flight, more an ungainly glide. If she does half to walk it's more a hip-swinging stumble then anything. This form is apparently sexless, no genitalia or breasts beneath the fur-like feathers and she is unable to communicate except as a bird.
Corax - This is her true shape and one she is most comfortable in. Larger then the average raven, Loreth has wings that will give off an almost oil-quality in the right light. Shimmers of purple and blue and green are common among ravens and for her a source of pride. Compliments will get a puffed chest and croak of pleasure while threats risk losing their eyes to her sharp beak and sharper talons.
-In this form, and this form only, she had the ability Eyes of the Dead meaning she can eat the eyes of someone recently dead and see their last moments, hear their last thoughts and if she can, speak with their spirit. The disadvantage to this is that she will never forget what she sees, the memories imprinted on her forever.
