Crystal Hollows -main

Viktor

Viktor watched the small cat creature scurry off. The fear in his heart had not been allayed - it was unwise to put one's trust in someone here in the Hollows with nothing short of a blood bond. People's words meant nothing, and Viktor was under no illusion that the small cat creature would keep its promise, though it had seemed scared enough that perhaps its word might be genuine. However, Viktor wasn't about to find out. He'll have to keep an even lower profile for the next few months, he thought glumly as he continued making his way through the catacombs.

The residential area he lived in lay somewhere in the middle of the second layer of the catacombs, a few dozen number of houses tucked deep inside the conclave of a large cave-in, hidden away from most except those who know where to look. It was a small community of magic users and creatures that were all like-minded in the sense that they wanted to hide themselves away from the more powerful inhabitants of the Hollows. He wouldn't trust his neighbours not to give him up if Zander came searching, but at least they wouldn't actively try to attract attention to themselves, which gave Viktor the perfect environment to lay low in. If he could restrict his movements to within his residential area as much as possible, he was as safe as one could be in the Hollows.

NIX

Nix held her smirk and she eyed the demon's servants mischievously. Her attention was refocused as Zander spoke. She merely shrugged, "I like the dark. But I'm always up for some fun." Hands still uncaringly playing with her blade, she followed the demons to the table. She plopped down in the seat, one of her arms rested on the headboard of the chair while her legs crossed lazily. Her eyes darted to Alastor, amused by his attempts at subtle indirect eye contact.

Riv'Era looked at Lance panic in her eyes and across her face as she talked about turning her into the guard and she shifted her weight stepping back slightly. She looked down at her hand and then back up when he said he wouldn't turn her in and smiled relieved “I will seek council as soon as the meet n greet is over I promise just please don't say anything.” she says “I have to go if I don't mother will have me writing a book before supper” she says before dashing off to the throne room. "I will find you later and we will talk" she says as she ran.

@KeekeeI
The queen nodded and smiled “Yes well the now no magic policy really make it a peaceful place I hope one day we can spread you your parents kingdom and show what a wonderful life we have” she says smiling and beaming from the talk “I am sure once she gets a good look at how handsome you are her mood will be better.” she states “I am glad you enjoyed the trip our farmers work hard all year long and it shows."

Riv'Era came running into the Throne room. Her red hair falling around her face and into her eyes. She truly looked like a goddess no matter how much she was having a bad day. Her chest heaved in and out fast “Sorry I am late.” she says in a bit of rushed way as she took her seat and straightening up before looking at the arrival guest her blue eyes sparkled and she bit her lip softly still having an innocence to her.

BETROTHEL
(is this the first time they've met? If not I'll change my post XD. Sorry for late post too. Life has been busy)

:He stood there frozen. His eyebrows raised. He could have never even imagined her beauty. Her red hair... and her blue eyes stood out so well. He could tell that she was upset but despite that, she was beautiful. He couldn't imagine how she looked when she was happy. He gave his most charming and natural smile, dipples popping out on his cheeks: He bows, his hair falling into his eyes: "I am pleased to finally meet you Princess. I hope the day has treated you well."

The King gave a wide grin noticing how the young man seemed to be entranced by his daughter as his eyes lifted to his daughter he hesitated for a moment wondering what was bothering her so much. Noticing a guard enter the room shortly after he realized it must be she was scolded once again for not being ready promptly and let a slight sigh escape him.

Lance carefully entered the room and stood near the door as a guard and tried to continue his thought process he wondered if he should step forward later and ask what would happen if a royal family member developed powers once again would they be sentenced like the commoners or would the law be lifted.
As the King refocused on his guest and continued the conversation of where the queen had left off. “The Farmers work hard every year, They also know that we aim to impress those who come to our kingdom. As Without the people we have no kingdom to rule.” he gave a slight smirk. His eyes shifted to his daughter for a moment. “Riv'Era I believe you should show your betrothed around the kingdom this evening let him get a feel for the people whom call our land home.” King Rawlis Zulimar looked to the guard whom just entered and waved him forward. “You may also take this guard with you if you feel uncomfortable in the streets of our kingdom.”

Lance stepped forward and upon hearing this realized he wouldn't get the chance tonight to ask his question if they needed an escort. After all even though they are betrothed they shouldn't be left unattended completely until the day they are wed. he understood this role he would be a chaperone for the both of them even if they didn't want his company.

“It would be my honor to accompany you both as a protector.” Lance's voice was stern and sounded much like a guard's should, not a hint of his worry slipped through in his voice.

Zander looked back and forth among those he had at the table and gave a slight growl of approval. “I have had many of my men digging a tunnel lately trying to create an escape so we may retaliate against those pompous royals for the banishment of our kinds.” the flash of fire across his eyes seemed to light up the table before vanishing. “yet they have the barrier put forth from our ancestors to protect them.” his eyes caught onto Nix as he spoke the next part with a wild fury to it. “Lilith helped these humans to trap us. As did my father Astaroth. He turned to Alastor and gave a toothy grin. “We are stronger than our parents before us and they fear us as much as those bastard Royals.” he placed his hands calmly upon the table and pushed himself up. “What right do mere mortals have holding us captive Nix? Wouldn't you like to use your powers to the fullest extent your body will allow?” raising one hand he waved for his pet to come.

Lykos swiftly moved to be beside Zander his small cat form seeming to tremble in the darkness. “Its time we call together all who live in these catacombs to join together to bust through the barrier put in place. I will call on those I deemed worthy when they entered the Dark Hallows.” his hand raised towards Nix and a sly smile curved his lips. “Lykos you and Alastor go find a minimum of 10 strong magic beings in the catacombs and bring them to me we will need what ever they may offer to us for breaking through the barrier.” after some time and giving a rough direction for the top ten strong magical beings in the dark hallows he waved his hand for them to go.

“Nix my dear I should show you the barrier so you may feel the intention your mother had and my father had. I'm sure you will see afterwards why we need to escape from here and take out our rage out on the humans above us.”

(Sorry again for such a late reply, life has been busy for me. Not bad, just busy. I hope this suffices!)

BETROTHEL

He nods to the king and turns his eyes to his betrothed. He gives her a charming smile. When the king mentions a guard to accompany them he turns to the voice that said, “It would be my honor to accompany you both as a protector.” He narrows his eyes at him in suspicion. He did not like this guard but he was not about to argue with the king. He put his hands behind his back and nods. "Very well. It would be my greatest honor if the princess showed me your beautiful kingdom." He smiles at her once more.

ALASTOR

He smiles seeing Zander's anger. He couldn't wait for what he had in store. If he was this angry about it, there would definitely be bloodshed. He then frowns one thing he didn't like though... was how comfortable he was getting with the witch. He didn't like it. Lost in thought he looked up hearing his name. He nods at the instructions. He then stands and looks at the cat. "Let's get a move on then." He did not like leaving Zander with the witch but he knew he could take care of himself. He turned just to look back and give the witch a glare. Warning her that if she did any funny business to him, he'd be out for blood.

Her boot swayed slightly from her crossed legs. Her eyes on Zander as he spoke, what she would call, utter bullshit. Though demons could be ridiculously irrational, she would keep playing along with this little game. She forced herself to suppress a chuckle at his preaching. Some could argue that the demon had a point- the high majority of creatures here hated being trapped in sick captivity. She personally didn't mind so much. She liked the dark, and she liked toying with those who fell to their unfortunate disasters and survived.

Placing a finger to tap her chin, she continued to appear as if she were really considering his words. She leaned back as she watched Zander give orders to those ranking in lower status. A venomous smile made its way to her lips when Alastor's cold gaze turned to her own. Her eyes didn't leave him until they disappeared from sight. "Your pet doesn't seem to like me." She gestured with a nod in the direction the other's set off in. "I find it hilarious. Hmm, the idea of my help is almost temping, but there'll be a price. What will you offer me in return for amusing your wishes?" Her deadly orbs settled on his. There was no hiding the mischievous glint in her eyes.

Riv'Era looked at the guest and smiled thinking it was another guest to stay in the castle as they passed by. Her mother leaned in and whispered in her ear and her eyes widened and she looked at both her parents and then back to him in shock. She then blinked and took a deep breath clearly going to her responsible side of her duties to the kingdom “My day is well it's proving to be eventful none the less. I hope your travels were well and worth it” She says smiling as she tucked a strand of hair behind her ears and casting a glance at Lance that showed her shock and a hint of sadness.

As her father talked about the kingdom Riv'Era kept her eyes on the man they were calling her betrothal and as the king suggested Riv'Era show the guest the kingdom she looked at Lance and then her father “Yes father but you'll have to talk to the lessons professor then” She says looking at the King with that look of knowing how much they hated talking to the professor. She let out a small smiling of innocence to the king. She looked at Lance as he walked up and smiled a soft smile at him “Thank you Lance” she says as she always had done and then looked at the guest “Do you want to get settled first or are you well enough to go now” she says standing up and walking up to him.

He smiles at Riv'Era as she speaks. “My day is well it's proving to be eventful none the less. I hope your travels were well and worth it” He narrowed his eyes a bit as he caught the look she gave to the guard. What did that mean? He then nods. "Yes my travels have already been well worth it." He shifted a bit as she spoke with her father. He put his hands behind his back and waited patiently like a good gentleman. After she turned her attention from her father he couldn't help but almost frown as she said thank you to the guard. It almost felt like she was giving him special attention... and he did not like that. When she turned to him and said, “Do you want to get settled first or are you well enough to go now” He did not hesitate on nodding. "I am well enough to go now." If he was in competition with the guard somehow, he was going to win at all costs.
