Kokichi seemed intently curious about the newcomer, but Nathan soon grabbed his attention. "Hmm?" He turned his head to the other boy and crossed his arms. "Is there something you want? Is there something on my face? You're standing really close to me you know."

When Akande sifted through the vending machine remains, he would find nothing of value, whether it be edible or something that could be used in another manner. All that was left was jagged glass, plastic junk, and shredded metal. Weapons could be fashioned from the materials, but not enough to be very effective.

When Dhaos and Dagran approached the left doorway, he would find it barred shut. Though it seemed to give way slightly when pushed against.

Upon investigation of the elevator, it would seem that the elevator was now locked in place. It could not go up or down from this floor. There were three floors above the current one.

The wooden spikes were nothing special as far as Cinder or anyone else could tell, but it was covered in graffiti that warned those who saw it to stay away. The wooden barricade seemed inefficiently made and composed of wood broken from other objects. Remains of plastic and thread could be found on the wood.

Cinder was able to conjure the smallest wisp of flame, but it was not enough to light the barricade on fire. Cole shrugged and waited for Megatron to try before bothering with an effort of his own.

As Megatron started to attack the wooden barricade, something hit him from behind. The weapon lodged into him and sent a harsh electrical shock through him. The weapon came from a corner of the room and those who turned to look would see the door on the right staircase close.

And push he would. Dhaos took a few steps back to shoulder tackle it. If there was something valuable inside he'd be the one to seize it no one else. He continued putting pressure on the door in an attempt to break it open.

"AAAAARRRRGGGHHHH!"

The shock that was sent through Megatron reclused him back into his altmode - the alien aircraft. The shifting caused the weapon to get pushed by kibble and fall onto the ground for all to see and investigate.

"... who in the pits of Kaon did that?"

Megatron's pieces shifted back and forth, but he remained in his altmode, for now at least.

"... I will ensure that they pay dearly for it."

Dismissing the red man, Pyke found interest in the trash left behind by the vending machine. He started looking through the pieces of junk, trying to find the treasure of the pile. He eventually found a suitable shiv; the lengthiest shard of glass with a particularly pointy end. He picked it up and tested it out, finding the best way to wield it. Small cuts appeared on his hand as he did so, but he didn't seem to notice. Crimson blood did not come out of the wounds either, it was more like a strange slime of blue and green.

Suddenly, a loud noise invaded his ears. Eyes widened, he glanced at Megatron's misfortune, and then his eyes darted toward the door on the right staircase. Without a moment's hesitation, the Bloodharbor Ripper stubbornly sprinted toward said door with murderous intent. "Found you!" he yelled with malice before attempting to open the door, gripping the shard of glass.

Will frowned as he saw the elevator was stuck. As he turned to see Megatron struck in the back, he went over to the door the weapon had come from to see if it would open. " If this doesn't work, that means it's a one-way door," he said mostly to himself.

The door gave way eventually for Dhaos, allowing him into a room that... smelled very, very badly. What was immediately apparent was the intense smell of death and black stains that coated the walls and floor of the room. It seemed this had been an office room at some point as a long table, chairs, and the remains of a projector screen were still intact. Though this might have meant nothing to Dhaos or Dagran, they would certainly recognize the telltale signs of both a struggle and a murder.

The walls were glass panes like outside, but they had been boarded up heavily with only small peaks of the glass beyond visible.

The weapon fell to the ground and was revealed to be an arrow fitted with some kind of electronic device meant to shock whoever it was embedded into. It looked unprofessional and made from scrap materials.

When Pyke ripped open the door, he and Will would find a precarious and strange room. The walls were boarded up heavily and stacks of tables were set up around the room in a manner that made a narrow walkway that twisted in a maze-like structure. Above the tables, it could be seen that a rope ladder went up to a hole smashed through from the floor above. The ladder could not be reached without navigating the table maze or smashing through it.

Dagran cautiously stepped into the room, eyes sweeping the room carefully. He would see if he could find anything of use in the room, while also keeping an eye out for a possible body. He wasn't sure what happened here, but if a murder took place he'd have to keep an eye out.

" Pyke, are you in the mood to smash again to get to the hole of the ladder or do you want to navigate our way through the maze? I'll take your lead on this,"
he said.
Pyke entered the room with audible breaths. "Damn it!" he exclaimed. "Just barely wriggled away..." He examined the room, and the more he did, the more frustrated he became. Of course there would be a maze here to slow him down. That's exactly what a captain would do. He pocketed his glass shard, turned to Will, and said, "I don't got time to play these fancy games-- I'm forcin' my way through. Go call the others over so they can help." With that, he ran toward the ladder as far as he could before he encountered a table wall. Once he did, he began punching, kicking, pushing, and shoulder bashing tables out of the way. "Gonna get 'em!" he shouted aloud like a madman. There was no end to his fury.

Will looked back and made a call out to the main hall. " We need some help here with the tables," he said, joining Pyke in trying to smash his way to the ladder and help him get there. It seemed like a good idea.

Kokichi looked a bit shocked as if this Nathan's confusion was surprising.

"It's a game!" the boy declared. "Don't you get it? Yeah, we might not really know the rules yet, but that's half the fun."

A loud bang echoed from the right staircase door that could be heard throughout the lobby. Isa covered his head but it seemed nothing had happened to anyone outside the room. "What was that?" he asked.

The room was barren of anything truly useful, though there was a couple of sheets at the back of the room, covering shapes that could be bodies.

The first wall that Pyke, Akande, and Will encountered gave way easily to their combined strength but pushing through activated something on the other side. There was a beep, followed by a small explosion. Pyke and Akande felt heat press against them and a force threw all three of them backward. There was now metal shrapnel embedded into Will's stomach and wooden shrapnel had left a large cut across the right side of Akande's face.

The explosion had opened the path a bit but there was still another table wall between the group and the ladder.

Akande fell to the ground, needing a moment to gain his bearings after the bomb went off. As he sat up, he put his hand to his cheek, feeling a sharp pain there. He inspected his now bloodied fingertips...and broke into a grin. "Ah, good. The Overseer isn't making this easy." He looked over at the other two. "Are you all right? I think we may want to throw something at that wall in case of another trick...perhaps one of those chairs or vending machines in the lobby?"

The sailor smiled behind his mask as his comrades assisted him, but stopped when he heard the beep. When he fell, he grunted more out of annoyance than pain and got up relatively quickly, but not without wobbling a bit. He tried to move forward immediately, but his ears were ringing and he felt dizzy. However, with every second separated from his target, the voices in his head shouted louder and louder. His head ached; the Deep enveloped his mind, consumed him. He felt like he would die if he didn't catch up to them quick enough--

He shook his head and suppressed the voices yelling at him to push ahead, returning to a slightly more rational state of mind thanks to the explosion knocking some humanity back into him. Calming down, he sighed and listened to Akande's remark.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Pyke lied. "Anyway, I guess if they've got bombs set up, throwin' somethin' ain't a bad idea." He started walking back to the lobby but stopped when he saw Will's injuries. "Ah, just walk it off." He continued to the lobby and looked at everyone. "There's a table maze we're tryin' to bust through, but the captain set up bombs to stop us. Grab somethin' to throw," he said nonchalantly. The dead man proceeded to easily pick up a chair and carry it to the maze. "Ready when you are."

Lucy had been doing...what? Listening in to other conversations? Watching that Candi girl overuse her limited powers already? Waiting for something to happen? Yeah, that's what. What could she have done though? Everyone was fussing over everything, and although she didn't place herself in the same catagory as that Yakuza boss, she didn't need to do anything. Needless to say, she was just at the back of the room, chilling and observing the others.

Also needless to say, was that she was also the one of the first to react to who attacked Megatron. She was about to go after them, since they might have answers, but then Pyke. Just...yeah, Lucy stayed out of the way, just in case. Then after the rush to chase after that person, Lucy was about to head up, but then the fact that there was a EXPLOSION of all things up there put a end to that idea.

So what could she do?

Oh, right, the recently opened left door. As Lucy drew closer to it, she reconised the smell of death. An objectively repulsive, but unfortunately common smell for her (although it was usually less strong). Upon entering the room, it was straight up confirmed. Black stains? Signs of murder and struggle? Lucy looked around for a little while, before heading up to the two already there.
"So, what do you think happened here? It seems like this floor atleast was invaded. With the vending machines, barricade, and this room."

"Well, anyways, I do see some cloth covering something over there."

Will felt the pain in his receptors as soon as the heat hit them and knocked him back. It took him a few more moments to realize that a piece of metal shrapnel had embedded itself into his stomach and he looked over at Akande. He wasn't sure if pulling it out was a good thing, but he didn't exactly want to be walking around with metal in his stomach. As he pulled the metal out hopefully well enough, some thirum leaked out of him. Blue blood. Androids bleed blue, humans bleed red.

Remembering what Wesker had did, Will would take out the plants and mimick it hoping that healed his wound. He looked over at Akande. "The plant heals your wounds... or at least that's what Wesker told me. Need some for the scar?" He asked, less concerned about the shrapnel and more concerned about Akande. He didn't try to push, but with what little strength he had remaining, he threw one of the rebars he had from earlier to see if it would set off the other table.
