Etoliea Destrix Gunnar's Characters

DestrixGunnar

With blood and rage of crimson red,
Name: Draken Taeilas
Age: 2714 years old (he'd be in his early 40s if he were human)
Gender: Male
Species: Igni Sharokhta (Shifter)
The Sharokhta is a species very few in numbers when compared to the other species of Etoliea. They are scattered throughout Etoliea, mainly in Mysticism and Ferra. The Sharokhta are divided into two sub-species, the Igni and the Firiost. The Igni live in Mysticism, their natural habitat. The Igni Sharokhta are a fiery people—literally.
The average Igni Sharokhta would stand at around 7-8 feet while children usually stand at around 6 feet. They possess very thick scales which are like armor, making them very resistant towards direct physical damage. They have horns that vary in length and number and lack any hair on their body. Their earhole is located just beside their horns and can sometimes be visible. They have claws for hands and talons for feet. Their eyes are commonly warm fiery colors like red, yellow and orange. Their facial structure resembles a human, only their nose is really just two nostrils above their mouths. Their mouths are also filled with razor sharp teeth as sharp as their claws and they have no lips. They also have wings but they are stiff and only barely extend off their back. They look more like bones then they do wings. With a lot of pain and hard work, they might be able to use it to glide, but not actually fly. As for their private areas, they don't have any since whatever they eat or drink is either used up entirely by their body or are totally disintegrated. Their voices sound like a more gruff and somewhat distorted version of a regular human's voice which makes them sound very monster-ish.
Their appearances differ from another when it comes to the little details. The Sharokhta possess the common abilities of a fire dragon. They can breath fire, shoot flames/fireballs from their hands and so on. The downside is, Everytime they use their draconic abilities, they are slowly burning themselves from the inside and they might die if they use their abilities for too long. This is because their internal body in humanoid form isn't meant to handle their draconic powers. If the effects of the draconic powers start to appear on their face, body or arms, that means they are really pushing themselves.
They are also able to shift into dragon form, but this is risky as they will lose their minds totally as soon as the transformation happens and will stay that way forever unless someone who has close emotional connection to him/her tames them and changes them back. Because of the risks that come with using their powers, Igni Sharokhta usually just rely on their pure brute strength. Their dragon form is about 3-8 times larger than their humanoid form. Certain Sharokhta are born with tails while others only have tails in their dragon forms.
Home Island: Mysticism
Appearance: Drakenaz is 7'4" and has maroonish scales with a layered pattern. He has bright, fiery yellow eyes along with two horns that stretch out behind him, curving a little near the end. His claws, talons and horns are of a darker shade than the rest of his body. His wings are very stiff and span from the top of his head to his waist. They look more like cannons on the backs of robots that they do wings. He has a somewhat slender build, but being a Sharokhta, he is still quite large and bulky. He also has a tail which is also layered with scales like the rest of his body.

Personality: Draken is someone who is nicer than he looks. On first impression, he may seem like someone who might bite your head off as soon as he spots you but really, he's just a calm and collected man who is very much approachable. Even with his monster-ish voice, you can still hear the sincerity and kindness in his speech pattern, although to some he may still sound like a man ready to kill something in the blink of an eye. Draken is very much a thinking man who has had more than two thousand years of life experience, and knows what to do in less-than-ideal situations as well as differentiate right from wrong. He has his own set of morals that he follows. Being a thinking man however, he is someone who has a hot temper. Although he tries to control and contain his temper, it is very easy to make him crack and lose his temper. He is also quite violent and tends to end his problems with someone else's spine in his grip.
With friends and family, he's always ready to listen to anyone's problems and lend a hand if he can.
Abilities/strengths: strengths and abilities that come with the species. He can also smith a bunch of weapons should anyone ever need them. He can also use his draconic powers slightly longer than others.
Weaknesses: Weakness that come with the species and his total blindness in the dark. He also is very hot tempered which very often interferes with his more rational thinking although he does try to contain it.

(I hope you guys don't mind me creating another character here PS. any character I make that's a Sharokhta is gonna be a shifter. Hope you peeps are cool with that. I might make one more then I won't make another so that the RP isn't filled with shifters)

Name: Vogor Novisikar
Age: 2400 (late 30s if he were human)
Gender: Male
Species: Firiost Sharokhta(shifter)
The Firiost don't differ much from their fiery counterparts. As opposed to the Igni's layered scales, the Firiost have scales that are flat, rigid and very hard. Though they may not necessarily be tougher than the Igni's, the Firiost have scales that act more like a man's strong physique, while the Igni's scales are more like armor. Where Igni show magmatic features on their body, the Firiost commonly share the same detail but with ice and frost. Same may have shards of ice portruding out of their body while others may have their entire body covered in frost. They stand and the same heights as the Igni and they also posses claws and talons like the Igni. Their facial structure also resembles a human's facial structure strongly. Where the Igni have horns, the Firiost have icy spikes. Their eyes usually are either icy blue, or snow white. They have stuff wings in humanoid form that, just like the Igni, does not enable them to fly and they do not possess excretory organs for the same reasons as the Igni, but the Firiost uses up every bit and don't destroy anything they consume. Where the Igni have a very gruff and monstrous voice, the Firiost have very deep voices that is nice to listen to. Some Firiost have tails and some don't, their tails have shards of ice from start to end. The Firiost posses the abilities of a frost dragon such as blasting frost from their hands, frost breath and so on. The Firiost however, can do this for however long they please. But the Firiost are fairly weak against physical attacks and rely on keeping their enemies away at a distance and going in for the kill when they see an opening.
The Firiost are also able to shift into dragon form which, like the Igni, are 3-8 times larger than their humanoid form. Different from the Igni however, they are able to maintain their conscious in their dragon form. Though shifting into a dragon for them is much harder, as not only do they have to reach a certain age, they also have to learn how to do it from elders. When they do master it, shifting is a painful process for them and they refrain from doing so.
Appearance: Vogor stands at 7'4" has hard scales that are a very deep icy blue color. His eyes are white and he had several ice spikes portruding out the back of his head. He has shards of ice portruding out of his shoulders and elbows and only has a tail in his dragon form. All of his ice portrusions are a in a bright blue shade. His claws and talons are entirely black and his wings span from head to toe looking like two swords sheathed on his back. He has a very solid and bulky build.

(Vogor's dragon form)

Personality: Vogor is a very impatient person. He constantly gets angry when someone doesn't get something he's already repeated more than once. He is willing to help those in need whether it be a physical task or others, but he feels himself as someone who is above everyone else and can't accept it when he loses or he's wrong. His kindness is very hit and miss, where the people he helps would sometimes rather not have gotten help at all due to Vogor's attitude. In battle situations, he always appoints himself as team leader, even though no one agrees with it most of the time. He always assumes that the people around are in need of his protection, even if they end up being more powerful than he ever will be. He is however, very rational and has the mind of a general when it comes to combat. He is also very wise and thinks things through before doing anything. Vogor is also someone who has a sense of brotherhood and family, as he prefers to rather have everyone still alive instead of having his mission accomplished.
He despises the Igni to the point that he sees them as a disgrace to Etoliea. Although every other Firiost doesn't share his opinion on the Igni, as both sub-species live in perfect harmony. In the end, Vogor is someone with a heart of gold and only wants to do the right thing and what's best for people, even though his attitude makes him seem snobbish.
Abilities/strengths: strengths and abilities that come with the species. In battles, may it be small or large in scale, Vogor is a good strategist and in these situations, Vogor foregoes his ego and becomes a very good team player. He also always makes sure that everyone is safe and accounted for. Vogor is very aware of his surroundings and never lets his guard down, even during neutral situations.
Weakness: any weakness that comes with the species. Vogor very often underestimates his enemies and overestimates his own power. He is easily triggered/provoked in the sense that if someone taunts, teases or insults him he will go absolutely apeshit and not in a good way.

Accepted, though please limit yourself to how many shifters you have. I do accept the fact that the Firiost refrains from shifting because it's a painful process, which is why I am accepting this one. ^^
