"Don't betray me..." She says, through tears. "Though I have betrayed you, I didn't mean to. I didn't mean to hurt you so, and now..." Her fists clench. "Now you are gone. Done with the world. It is my fault."
A tear drops. Falling.
"I ran, I ran as fast as I could. I thought you were behind...I was wrong. I was so wrong. I betrayed you."
Slowly her hand wiped the tear stain from her cheek, though pointless, because more kept flowing.
"Murder. You were murdered. And I...I ran. I didn't even look back. It's my fault. I should have grabbed you. I should have made sure you were behind...I should...I should have...I'm...sorry."
"Don't betray me though...keep me in your heart. You'll always be in mine."
