Smol Turtle Girl
The world of the dream awakens with the crashing of waves and the roaring of rain. Water, that precious liquid that sustains life, is now ending it. The tides rise so quickly people in the dream are awoken by fish biting their toes. And the dreamers awaken already underwater, deep under the ocean on the mid-Atlantic ridge. Many cry out in horror, others gasp for air before remembering their curse. A few skyrocket up out of the waves, desperate to find their homes. But a few stay back, meeting together to figure out what to do. The water seems to swirl ominisly around them, as if this dream is reacting to their collective wills.
 
Liz opens her eyes and sees she is underwater, not only that, but at the bottom of the ocean. Strange, she didn't remember her orphange being anywhere near the ocean. Or any body of water for that matter. She swims over to someone nearby who didn't seem to be awake yet. Liz shakes them by the shoulders really hard. Although it is a dream, she was determined to save as many people as possible.
 
Ciara comes suddenly awake as she's shaken hard by Liz, and is surprised to find she's under water. Like WAY under water. She blinks her eyes open, feeling the familiar sting of ocean salt water. She tries to say something to the other girl, but all that comes out is bubbles. This is bad. She immediately begins to kick in the direction the bubbles rise, scooping her arms out wide to gather water and swim powerfully upward.
 
Liz is sees the girl start swimming upwards, and wonders if she should follow. She could keep waking up other people to save them, or save herself. What should she do? Liz decides she has done enough, and follows the girl towards the surface. Her lungs burn for air, and she wonders if she will make it.
