Earth, 1,000 years after the End

Ok, Hello everybody.

I am Drake, your GM for this lovely little RP.

So, here is the general outline for the Lore:

(PS: Can be played as a 1x1 between myself and a player, players do not need to interact with other players)

The planet is Earth. Human beings had reached the pinnacles in genetics, biomechanics, and machines. However, along with these advances, Humans advanced even further into the realm of weaponry. Compared to even the cheapest weapon of this day and age, the atomic bombs of WWII could not stand close. Needless to say, someone pulled the trigger and the world went boom.

However, the most advanced and common weapons were Biomechanical suits. These suits survived the End and still exist today, awaiting a wearer.

The ancient relics of the once great Human civilization are still visible. Amid jungles, mountains, oceans, and the reclamations of nature stand great obelisks that scrape even the sky itself. Sprawling masses of concrete cities dot the world. Among the peaks of mountains are the floating cities, there bronze airships littering the ground. In the deeps are the Bubble Cities, the cities underwater.

Human beings advanced far into the realm of genetics, producing some of the most formidable biological weapons of all time. Due to the use of these weapons in the Great War, remnants of the Human Race, and all other living creatures, were forever changed. The genetic structures of everything in the world are extremely fragile and are prone to change when in contact with an external power source.

Also, Humans no longer exist.

Gnomes - Villages
Imps - Individual
Lizardmen - Tribal
Kobolds (the dog kind) - feudal (think feudal Japan)
Gnolls - Tribal
If you have an idea for something else, then let me know and I will think about it.

As for the story of this RP....well....there isn't one. =)

Your character will just do what your character does. I, being the GM, will create certain events for your characters. I might also try to rope your character into a storyline, but I don't want anyone to think that they have to play along into a storyline. If you see something that your character can do that may or may not throw me completely off track, then please do. It is players like that that make being a GM fun and rewarding. =)

In this new world, your genes are unstable. They will change, a lot. When your character comes into contact with a powerful power source, then they will change. I, your GM, will be decided how exactly your character will change. Here is a list of races from most unstable, to least unstable.

Goblins (the norm)
Gnolls
Lizardmen
Kobolds
Gnomes

Technology:
Most groups try to stay away from all forms of technology, believing that it is cursed. However, almost all forms of technology are present and useable.

So. Essentially fallout, but more advanced and human race is dead with different furry races and non-furry races running rampart.
Sounds neat. Count me in. I believe this will be a good chance for me to show to the public my decent talent in rping.
 
Yeah, it's basically that.

Also, your character can and will change shape/form. And I will be in control of that...:)

Anyway. Would you prefer more combat-oriented rpers or can I possibly do a herbalist?
 
I don't personally mind,

While I would like to have a few combat oriented players, having a herbalist sounds like fun...So do what you want...

Race: Lizardkin
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Description: 5'10'' lithe scaled entity. Her scales differ, holding a dark blue colouring on the sides, but on the front of her body her scales hold a pale white colour to it. Her clothing would be simple and generic tailored cloth robes, with a belt with different pouches for holding herbs and for holding things like her dagger. Carries a backpack for conducting ferbalism and different potions on the field, should she ever need that.
Personality: Curious, diligent, ambitious
Favorite Weapon: dagger
Brief Bio:A simple herbalist from her tribe. She was trained to become a herbalist, just like her mother was. It was a long tradition in the family and in the tribe that women do these meager tasks while men do the art of combat. She has learned to become curious when it comes to developing new mixtures. She recieved quite some experience in the art of herbalism, but still has a long road ahead of her. She has a dagger for cutting ingredients from the nearby woods and other signs of nature, which means she has some means of self defence when she is not accompanied. As of right now she finds her current physical appearance appalling, mostly due to how she finds it limiting. She wishes to find a way to become something more than just a simple lizardkin.
Additional Info: Gotta smoke those herbs, man.
Genetic instability:Somewhat stable.
Technology:Tribal, though is interested in experimenting with the technology of old with hopes of them making her work easier.

Race: Gnoll
Age: 24
Description: 5'. Lean, stringy, and tough muscles ripple beneath short black fur that grows shaggy on the lower arms and legs. His hands are long, thin, and end in wickedly sharp claws about and inch long. With eyes like liquid mercury and a bone, feather, fur and metal headdress, he is rather imposing. In addition, he wears a simple white skirt, hanging down to the knees, while leaving his chest bare. He wears many armlets, bracelet, anklets, and rings, made from various metals, usually gold and other non-rusting metals, but all flat adornments flat and of simple pattern.
Personality: Honorable, tranquil, adventurous, friendly
Favorite Weapon: A long spear, between seven and eight feet. The blade is long enough to be used for slashing movements as well as thrusting. Adorned with several talismans and fetishes hung from the cross-guard, the weapon only occasionally sees use in combat, and is primarily used as a walking staff.
Brief Bio: From a small tribe of wandering gnolls, scavenging old ruins as they wandered the land, Vuatz grew up as the successor to the tribe's shaman. Learning equal parts combat and mysticism, Vuatz managed well in the tribe, gaining respect from both the older and younger groups. , and becoming another leader in his own right. This has, however, earned him the ire of the previous shaman, who doesn't wish his position to be taken so soon.

Technology: Believes it to be magic, a power that can be used for good or evil. He is cautious of it, but is willing to use it.

@Enki Your post is good definitely accepted!

@SedentaryCobra Gnolls are not that tall, if you could update it to be somewhere between 4' and 5' in height that would be much appreciated.

I know that I've been gone for a while, but I'm back! ready to start rolling with this RP again!!!
 
Well just for future reference gnolls are short, kobolds are tall.

But other than that, your character is just fine.

Favorite weapon: a battle axe

Brief bio:
  • he is rude and vulgar and he has no manners under any circumstances. But he does have a soft side.
  • he grew up alone.
  • He is seeks a master to do orders for.
  • He is not in love or capable of it.
Genetic instability
He gets extra skin growths because of radiation.

Technology
He is most old age uses with weaponry but ocasionally he was grab a gun.

Tall - is about 5'2"

Why would someone who is a snob want to serve someone else?

Genetic Instability -> I'll have uses for your extra skin, namely makes bends joints harder, but also gives him some more natural armor.

Genetic Instability -> Any other mutations that happen will be made by me, though I will offer choices to you

Can you explain your Technology statement, I can't understand it.

Race: Imp
Age: One Month
Description: A tiny green skinned humanoid with leathery wings. Looks emancipated and thin with a tiny bandolier of knives and bottles.
Personality: Cannibalistic, Slightly insane with no regard for personal safety.
Favorite Weapon: Tiny and ineffectual knife
Brief Bio: Hctib is one of five thousand other imps from his family. On the first week of their birth four hundred of the Yob children had died due to various predators and general stupidity, It's miracle that Hctib the first is even alive with the only explanation to his continued life being blind luck. After a while, Hctib and his other brothers and sisters were kicked out of the nest to do their own thing.

Genetic instability: Completely Unstable

Race: Kobolds
Age: 17
Description: He 5'5" tall, stout and thick humanoid person, with a dog-like appearance, with rough, patchy skin, covered with grey and black fur tilting out. He has a classic stout, and harsh teeth. His ears sticks higher on his head, pointed towards the skies. Kurtel typically wears the traditional armor and ornaments for a soldier.
Personality: Strong sense of honor, traditionalistic, hard working
Favorite Weapon: A classic, thin, long, and sharp sword.
Brief Bio: From the feudal kobolds civilization as a soldier in training in his clan under their lord. Kurtel was born under the class, and was thus lead to learn the art of combat and strategy.

Technology: Doesn't know much about it and would rather not use it if possible.

He is very cool, Hctib has been accepted!

I like Kurtel, however there are a few problems:

Kobolds are normal human height, so he is extremely short.
here is a picture of what they look like:

And Kobolds have a rather stable genome, however he can have a more unstable genome as compared to other kobolds.

Other than these, both characters are accepted!

Thanks! I haven't particularly seen those types of kobolds before so I was struggling with the appearance. Perhaps I should have asked first , sorry about that.

But I fixed it, I think! I'd still like him to be slightly smaller but I made the height more realistic.
