You don't remember waking up here.
That's strange, because you remember everything else. You don't have amnesia, you can recall your name, your hometown, your first pet. Hell, you can remember what you had for breakfast yesterday. In fact, wherever "here" is doesn't seem to be too odd. It looks like your typical suburbia, with a gas station, cornerstore, schoolhouse, and even a McDonalds. Although, what strikes you almost immediately is that nobody seems to be "here".
Nobody besides a couple of other faces.
These people are definitely not familiar. Did they bring you here? Are they in the same situation as you? You have no idea. All you know now is that there don't seem to be any other human beings besides them and yourself... So what's happening? Why are you here?
You woke up here with a white sheet of blank paper inked in thick, block text with a message:
EVANESCAM
YOU HAVE 30 DAYS
It seems everyone else received the same, foreboding statement of welcome. 30 days until something. 30 days until everyone is freed? Until everyone is killed? Probably killed, if those stupid horror movies taught you anything, right? Obviously, you are all here for a reason. What that reason is? You'll find out, soon enough. For now, the goal is survival. Survival, whether or not it's at the cost of others. That shouldn't be too difficult, right?
30 days.
______________________
You have 30 days to stay alive among a group of unfamiliar people, and you will be presented with challenges along the way there. Though it may help to align with the people you're stuck here with, it may also stab you in the back. Trust may very well be your downfall.
Each character woke up in their own house in the town, and may proceed to live there throughout their time there. These houses will bear striking similarities to the character's previous home. The town carries the typical things you expect from a suburbia. There is a drugstore, a fast food joint, a schoolhouse, a supermarket, and some hardware stores. These areas will be stocked, but un-managed and unemployed. Items will most definitely be scarce, so characters likely want to get what they can as soon as possible. The town exists in a dead-zone, so contacting anyone in the outside world will be impossible.
When creating your character, keep in mind that they were chosen at random (for the most part), so being experts at survival would be rather unlikely. Of course, what kind of person your character is can also dictate their likelihood of survival (compare a redneck hunter to a sheltered political official).
Death is entirely possible and LIKELY, so expect it to happen to someone, your character or otherwise.
PLEASE be reasonable when creating your character sheet.

Good luck.
