"I-Err" Huey froze again, his brain a buffer. His work...was always a complicated topic; where to begin? How he joined MSF, only to see them go nuclear by his design? How he joined the Diamond Dogs, only to watch helplessly as they resorted to terror and cast him out as a traitor? How he had spent countless, blissful hours, slaving away in his laboratory with his R&D team, free from the commands of any institution. Working with the Mercenaries had truly made him a free man, albeit at the price of his conscience. "Me? Mainly R&D work and strategic command for a few Private Military Companies. I never really had the nerve for field work..." He ran a dry palm along his pant leg and dusting away the sandy air that had gathered along his chair. "Nor... did I really ever have the 'equipment' to run into battle" He let out a hollow laugh "Nice to see someone else who enjoys our line of work, and maybe someone more altruistic than the sorts I usually find myself working with. Where's your group now? Are they on deploy anywhere I might know?"

"My group is likely still sitting in the dungeon of Lazulis Castle, where I was moments before being summoned here. Though one of our own is representing us to clear our names from false accusations of kidnapping the princess. It's a rather messy predicament, though I have faith in my friend, even without me present." Mirania replied, before her attention was grabbed by Leaf.

"Hey there!" A young preteen girl waved to those already gathered, running up to meet them.

"You guys got one of these cool pins too? This is soooo awesome! I've never traveled like this before...Teleporting with an Abra tends to make me kinda queasy. Oh, pfft, totally forgot to introduce myself there. I'm Leaf!" She looked over at the entryway, pointing to a sign. "Oh cool, is that a map?"

"It looks like we can explore. It'd be ggoodto get to know this place." she concluded, the first thing on her mind finding food. One would hope there'd be enough to sate her hunger.

"I was not built by any race or individual," Shockwave responds to Ulfi, "I hope this clarifies any doubts."

Shockwave looks to see Leaf waving towards them.

"You seem to be from Earth, yet you imply that you have access to a teleporting pet that goes by 'Abra'. As Earth lifeforms are naturally incapable of teleportation, I will have to assume that this 'Abra' is either augmented, genetically modified or extraterrestrial from your perspective. Are these the sole reasons that hold logic, or is there a potential fourth, such as being from an alternate Earth where organics possess such abilities?"

Shockwave continues forward.

"No matter, we have to move forward."

Shockwave looks at the map in question.

"I believe I would most prefer the Alchemy Laboratory, as I possess knowledge in chemistry," Shockwave explains as he points to the place he desired to head to, "it would be logical to split up based on expertise in these areas, as well as dividing our numbers to explore more ground, yet having large enough groups. While I am confident that I will be fine alone, I will not halt any of you from following me."

And so Shockwave went just there.

The Doctor quietly listened in, and smiled at the newcomers. He added in his little comment as well.

“It seems to be certain that the captain over there is correct. Even if most here are indeed human or looks as such, it seems everything else is different. Of course, while I have over-estimated humanity’s sophistication at times, it seems unlikely there would be still old-fashioned knights after so long.”

Stopping his quiet rambling after seeing a girl point towards the map, he stared at it for a while. Considering his options very briefly, The Doctor swiftly began to go somewhere, before suddenly turning around and heading to the Chamber of Planets.

After observing all the invitees arrive, Winston couldn't help but mumble to himself. "All these interesting figures. A few remind me of some very old film franchise characters in the past. I remember Doctor Winston informing me of Earth's history a long time ago. A artificial machine that specialises in science and adventurers/explorers of all shapes and sizes. This is sure to be quite the adventure ahead."

Listening to both Shockwave and Winston, The Doctor kept quiet for a while, only taking into note apparently how Cybertronians are born, and that monkeys can talk. The universe sure is a strange place. Hearing someone come up behind him, The Doctor turned around and smiled at ‘Captain America’. The timelord smiled and reach out as if to shake hands.

“I’m the Doctor. Good to see you, Captain. So you say that, everyone is from diffrent worlds, that would explain why I’ve never met any of them in any of my incarnations. Although my main concern is why we are all here. I hope this is just a short and little adventure, I really do have to get back to the TARDIS.”
Indeed, The Doctor did like to meet new people, but he was really quite enjoying his time back with Turlough, and it wasn’t like his companion knew how to fly the TARDIS.
@Jeremi @Yun Lee

"Same," She agreed. "I've had a life times worth of business dealing with multiple worlds and I'm hoping this isn't some shady business. But in my line of work you have to expect the worst, hope for the best."

Sam walked over to the map and gave it a look over. "Seems simple enough to navigate this place at least." She was curious about one thing on the map and that was the flying machine. Shouldn't be too hard to get there.

"Perhaps ancient tombs?" Ulfi said, remembering her adventures through places like Bleak Fall Barrows. She looked at the girl with an observing eye for a moment "Aren't you a bit young for this?" she asked.
"I was not built by any race or individual," Shockwave responds to Ulfi, "I hope this clarifies any doubts."

"That explains that." Ulfi said before she took a look at the map. After a moment, she raises an eyebrow in disappointment. "This castle doesn't have a forge? Which fortress doesn't have a forge?!" Ulfi said disappointed. All fortresses in Skyrim have a forge. Those manned even their own smith. Unless they're manned by bandits, but those aren't around anymore. "My other expertise certainly isn't here either." Ulfi muttered after.

Velma Dinkley

Velma was surprised that she had been picked for SEA as she had never had heard about it before today. She noticed the strange assortment of folks gathered and looked over at the map that the other women had provided. " I'm heading to the Navigation centre," she replied, thinking it was best to see if there was more information on where to go.

As Shockwave addressed Leaf, he unfortunately wouldn't get an answer, as the girl's jaw dropped upon seeing him. "Woah! You...you're a giant robot!" She pointed at Winston. "A-And you're a talking...Slaking?"

Winston chuckled and shook his head. "Gorilla, actually. Is it safe to assume that wherever you come from doesn't have them?"

"We sure don't!" Leaf shook her head. "But man...this is all so cool! I think I wanna go to the Alchemy Lab, too!"

And with that, they were off.

The Alchemy Lab looked less like a modern laboratory, and more like a wizard's study in a fairytale. It was certainly old and untouched for quite some time, if all the spiderwebs and dusty equipment were anything to go by.

The Chamber of Planets was sirprisingly clean, which was more than could be said for other parts of this place. The lovely planetarium above featured multiple constellations, and the Sun on the solar system model glowed brightly.

"Cybertronian," Shockwave replies to Leaf as they go to the Alchemy Lab.

"That is a logical conclusion. Let us continue our investigations," Shockwave says as he investigates further and attempts to identify the chemicals in the room.

"This is Earth - a planet with approximately 21% oxygen in its atmosphere, as well as 78% nitrogen. It would be logical to expect at least some chemicals to have gone through some oxidization or nitrification after all this time, taking into account that these preservation conditions are primitive compared to the Earth I am aware of, as well as the time passed based on the occupation of non-sapient life forms and the nestings they have left. If we are to test these chemicals. We would find logic in removing them first."

"I wouldn't be so sure" Huey murmured from the doorway, unwilling to test how well his chair would fair on such uneven cobblestone; the last thing he wanted was to find himself tumbling forward into the fireplace, a dozen chemicals in tow. Well, I'd hardly call it a laboratory" He laughed "But you get my point. We'd have to find the mean of the age of every single chemical, and even that result wouldn't nearly be accurate enough. Some chemicals might be newer than others, and dust patterns are hardly an accurate means of testing age if we want to be precise. Plus, some substances might have degraded faster because of the nature of the element, or the condition of its specific storage container. Besides, we're on a seafront. The salt in the air would accelerate oxidization to a considerable degree, simply by being exposed to it for as long as they have been. Huey shook his head, trying to break free from his own rant.

Sam looked at the flying machine in awe. Like something from a Jules Verne book come to life. "Seen a lot in my life, but that's a pretty looking ship." She narrated to herself before trying to get closer for a better look.

Velma Dinkley

Velma looked over at the large table with the old map and little toy boats. She did notice that there were newish toy soldiers on them. " How strange, this must be a clue for us to figure what is going on here," she said to herself, going to examine the newest toy soldiers, being carefully and trying to pick one up.

Thank goodness it wasn’t dirty like the rest of this place, sure enough, the Doctor didn’t mind getting his hands dirty but this was a new set of clothes, and he did believe it was rather uncouth to be wearing a layer of dust over his set of cricket clothes.

The time lord couldn’t help but sigh in relief upon entering the chamber. It was pleasant to the eye and most of all, accurate. The stuff some people in Earth thought about their planets sometimes baffled him, like the revolving sun theory made by some simpletons, but this was mostly correct. He was content with just taking a look around, simply enjoy and debunk some of the things in the planetarium, and he began walking around it.

Well, until he nearly bumped into Winston that is. Well, when he had a thousand things in this mind, spatial awareness was at the bottom of his priority. This brought him back to Earth though.

“Ah, I’m sorry about that, I was...pins you say?”
He looked over his shoulder and saw that the pin was sort of vibrating. The Doctor stared at it for a uncomfortablenly long time before quickly speaking up again.

“Pins are made of metal, and in this room, there must be something causing it. It’s likely some form of magnetism in this room, due to how complicated the planetarium looks, although I’m not so certain that might be it as it’s very possible this chamber is just decorated and serves limited technical use.”

“Of course, we must take in other factors. So you, are these pins made of any notable material, or display any significant function?”

Hopefully Winston got that. The ramblings of an old time lord was sometimes hard to understand.

To think that he was finally getting an audible response from a machine... perhaps all his hard work paid off. He shook away those sentimental thoughts, reentering the right headspace "I-I'd say try searching for a locked box as opposed to loose leaf paper. If we're by the sea, whoever owned this place will want to keep their research safe from the elements... both the elements of nature and the elements of his lab" He released a small chuckle "I'm hardly an expert, but in all those old movies, scientists always hid their valuables in secret vaults, hidden behind paintings or within the walls and the like... its what I'd do, if my lab was as... rustic as this?"

@Donder172 @Takumi
"Unfortunately, I have nothing with me to eat or drink. Though I think it would've been a good idea to bring some mead along, maybe some potions and maybe Lydia."
