Augh! I can't believe it! God, you're just like her, showing no regard for your own well-being! You know that?!

Who's... talking?

Who? You've got to be joking, Lapis. Unless your little stunt got you acting like you're drunk right now! Ugh...

... My body feels heavy. My chest radiates a lot of pain.

Of course it does, you dolt! You went and used the magic of granting Miracles on the stupidest thing ever! So with that, you only have four charges left before you ultimately kill yourself! You're aware of that, right?!

Miracles... Yes, I remember using one for... that fight.

Sometimes I wonder if Bern was a better fit for this than you, but we share similar wants so I can't argue that part. Anddd there! I think I did my best to reinforce your heart despite the... missing bits, yeah! I can't do so much for you while you're on the Coalition job and all, since I'm all the way at the Metaworld still. Just be careful, alright? I'm already stressed out as is.

Okay. I feel like... there's something important to attend to.

Yeah yeah, you go help your coworkers. Should be regaining consciousness, but I couldn't do much about healing you up so you'll feel really sore first thing. Alright, Lambdadelta out!

❝ ...ngh. ❞ Lapis started to stir, weakly composing herself after her Miracle-powered stunt earlier. Almost like having a heavy hangover, she was practically out of it. She didn't exactly question on what was going on or where she was. Her eyes weakly opened and stared for someone or something she could recognize. It didn't take long, her vision was blurring from the after-feeling of the supposed "drunkness."

With the Revanchist cleared out, the members of Brave Vesperia put down their arms and stood despondently. Rose let out a long sigh. "It was our job to protect her," Karol said, his voice low. "We failed." Yuri walked over to the boy and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"It's not over, Karol," he said, his eyes on Milla. The Lord of Spirits crossed her arms in response.

"You're right." She turned to look at the vines where Celsius had been hiding. "Odd that he would take her instead of killing her outright. Such behavior is not usual for the Revanchist up until this point. Regardless..."

As Wanda began preparing a spell that would transport the group back to the HQ, Milla explained to the group that had gone to the Checkpoint Brave Vesperia's concerns.

"As Makoto Naegi's friend, I believe it is only fair that he explains," Wanda said, illuminated in a magical light. She nodded her head, conjuring the image of one of the Coalition's leaders.

The magical projection of Makoto turned to face the woman. "Wanda?"

Once she explained the situation, he turned to face Yuri and his friends with a regretful look. "It was absolutely not right of us to withhold from you information regarding your friend, Rita. In all of the chaos since the destruction of the old Coalition headquarters, too much has gotten away from us."

Makoto went on to explain that while the Coalition had failed to identify Rita's murder and had tried to cover up that fact, they had since learned who her actual killer had been, though he still was at large.

"However, we believe his likely collaborator is working with the Revanchist."

Yuri exchanged a look with Judith. "Then Brave Vesperia is going to help you," he said. "That all right, Captain Karol?"

P05O9uy.png

"Of course!" exclaimed the boy. "If you'd just been honest with us from the start, we could have helped sooner!"

With that matter resolved for the moment, Rose spoke up. "It is with trepidation that I volunteer my skills as well," she said. "I have spent too long wandering without direction."

Despite gaining new allies, it was with heavy hearts that the group left this world.

Chapter Five
"Take Five"

Following the loss of both Celsius and Pluto, the two groups were brought back to the Coalition HQ for a moment of rest and assessment. Kyoko called upon Milla Maxwell to join them for a moment to analyze a certain message they had received.

wsZUUzz.png

“... What is the source of this message?” Milla asked after having heard an odd and distorted recording sent by the Office for Defense of Multiversal Assets.

Y83nIlS.png

“This may sound hard to believe, but its origin can be traced back to the past,” came to voice of “Mom” Lalonde, a scientist who was once an ally for the Coalition and now a high-ranking member of ODMA. “We have been conducting research on the phenomenon of time travel. This recording uniquely came to us about the same time the Coalition reported that the Great Spirits had gone into hiding.”

"The past? As in...?!" Riesbyfe cut in, astonished by the revelation despite Mom's preface.

"Time travel?!" Touma also said, as though finishing the knight's train of thought.

“Hmm. It’s not a voice. More of a signal.” Milla crossed her arms and looked around the board room at the Coalition members present. “But I recognize it as one of the Great Spirits, Muzét.”

“From the past?” Makoto asked. "How does that work?"

“Muzét has no dominion over time, but other than Chronos, she would have the unique ability to travel between dimensions in order to put herself in the past.”

“I would hazard a guess that this is no mere coincidence, as we are currently in the middle of an operation involving time travel. In searching for the girl known as Junko Enoshima, we sent agents to the past. Specifically, during the time of the Fiamma Incident.”

“Perhaps Muzét has decided to make use of your project,” Milla said.

"I'm quite flattered that my... outburst from back then made its mark on the history of different dimensions, even after it was that man that turned out to be the true mastermind," Fiamma of the Right -- the namesake of the incident -- coolly added, recalling a certain priest that had changed the course of the multiverse forever with his dying breath.

Indeed, there was a time when Fiamma was what people would consider a villain, corrupted by the influence of dark magic, hell bent on merging dimensions together and ruling over them with an iron fist. He believed God was on his side, but it was really the devil on his shoulder.

How far he had come from since then, from being the villain to helping the heroes. Still, he never would have suspected that he would find himself having to revisit that event, quite literally for other people. How embarrassing.

to-aru-majutsu-no-index-964787.jpg

"An incident from the past. I guess if there's no place in the world you can hide..." Touma -- one such person who was present during that Fiamma Incident back then -- murmured. If the Revanchist was going to be hunting this next Great Spirit throughout the x-axis known as space, one simply needed to hide within the y-axis instead; time.

"I definitely have no choice then; I'm coming with. And knowing my rotten luck, I can hazard a guess on where it is," Touma said. Yes indeed. After all, he was returning to his home world once again.

iR46PQv.png

“Junko Enoshima…” Makoto’s voice was quiet. “I suppose we don’t need to know what ODMA plans for her?” he asked, an air of sarcasm present in his voice.

“It was simply a matter of rescuing a lost girl,” Lalonde said, sounding as if she had no interest in a discussion on her group’s actions. “But now it seems to be much more, doesn’t it? The issue that has arisen is that we have lost contact with the group we sent into the past. If the Revanchist has some means of time travel, Muzét could be unsafe.”

“Could this, like… mess with history?” Makoto asked.

“We don’t really know,” Lalonde said. “It has been our running theory that the past can not exactly be altered. Coincidences will arise that push the multiverse away from paradoxes.” Milla nodded upon hearing this but provided no verbal comments.

Makoto thought on this for a moment. “That would make sense, considering what happened with Wanda and Eveline…”

“Unfortunately, even if we propose that history is already written, that does not mean history is known to us. Those in the past could be lost and we could never know.”

“Without Chronos, I do not know what we could do,” Milla said.

Lalonde let out a happy sigh. “Thankfully, we do have a solution. We have recently found someone who possesses a kind of magic that can transport a group into the past. Send them to ODMA and we will proceed from there.”

"Another person on hand who can travel back in time? Perhaps you humans aren't as primitive as I had believed," Othinus commented, once again perched atop Touma's shoulder. It was just as well; while it would have been little trifle to do such a thing as a full Magic God, Othinus was reduced to little more than a fairy after all, unable to be of assistance as much as she'd liked.

***

The individual Lalonde had spoke of turned out to be none other than the mage, Dorian Pavus, whose previous mentor developed a powerful spell for time travel. Though Dorian had dismissed the magic as too powerful for anyone to have, he had reluctantly sought out his mentor’s old research upon hearing ODMA’s pleas. Alongside his friend, Maevaris Tilani, Dorian developed the time magic once again, allowing ODMA to use it only for this particular mission.

The group that the Coalition sent to ODMA were gathered together and transported alongside Dorian to the past.

QYvP9hU.png

Dorian let out a sigh once the group had gathered their bearings in this new environment.

FvXLzjM.png

"Now then everyone, let us make sure this adventure turns out better than my last foray into another time period," Dorian said, sounding not particularly pleased. "Connor, Maevaris, do stay close to me for the time being."

to-aru-majutsu-no-index-964736.jpg

"Alright, then. Time traveled back to my own world during a time when it was being merged with another world and find an intruding Great Spirit named Muzet hiding there before the Revanchist can. No biggee, right?" Touma bemoaned.

It felt like such a long time ago, but in his world, it was crazy to think that only roughly two months had passed since then, and another month just about that he was even exposed to the greater multiverse in the first place. And once it felt like he was able to wrap his head around that, things only got crazier from there. Such misfortune.

"In any case... Are you all ready then?" Fiamma of the Right's voice asked from headquarters through their speakers, with Fairy Othinus now perched atop his shoulder now. Both of them had elected to stay behind, not wanting to split their attention too much.

As the other Coalition agents left for ODMA to start their mission through time, many others were still back at Knowhere, overseeing the battles currently occurring across the multiverse.

After the meeting and having seen the agents off, Makoto Naegi joined Kyoko Kirigiri in her office, ready to hand her a stack of papers. "Kyoko, we..." He let out a heavy sigh. "I have our finalized reports from the last couple of hours. The casualties are..."

He paused, as if something was stuck in his throat.

"... higher than anticipated."

He handed her the first paper, which detailed those who had perished fighting Revanchist soldiers on the field of battle.

Makoto watched Kyoko for a long moment, trying to read her expression. "It's all happening so fast, isn't it?"

"..."

Kyoko said nothing as she perused through the reports that Makoto had handed her, one after the other. As the young man would try to read his dear friend's expression, it was difficult to ascertain her thoughts just from her face. Her bangs obscured her eyes in some part as she scanned through the reports, her eyes dashing across each line pensively. Of course, even without those obstructions, Kyoko was never a particularly easy person to read, and she often liked it that way, even if it might have sometimes threatened to alienate Makoto even on their best days.

This was far from one of their best days.

Once she had eventually finished reading, the young leader of the Coalition set the papers down on the nearby table with a heavy breath. Their numbers were dwindling greatly, even with the emergency reinforcements from across the multiverse, and not even entirely because of the Revanchist's power. Some parties seemed ready to tear themselves apart thanks to the corruptive nature of malevolence. It almost reminded her of the civil war, except this was infinitely more bloody.

After all, this was bar none, the bloodiest moment in the Coalition's history. The greatest threat to the multiverse was stepping forward with all of their cards on the table, and even after hastily gathering the other organizations together in the wake of the Othinus Incident, not even the Ultimate Detective could say if it was enough to stand against the Revanchist.

All she could do was hope. She would live by that creed for as long as she drew breath. She could only doubly hope it wouldn't come to that.

After a notable pause, Kyoko pinched the bridge of her nose briefly, before finally looking up to answer Makoto. "Yes... And yet, we hardly have any time at all to slow down. In fact, it feels like things are only going to get more intense from here on out," she said softly, averting her gaze from Makoto initially, before turning to face him, right in the eyes.

"But no matter what, will you stay with me until the end?" She said, before brushing aside some stray hair coyly. "We still have to attend to that lunch, before Ollerus interrupted us in the first place."

"I..."

Makoto was briefly taken aback by Kyoko's words. He pressed his hands together and looked away from her for a moment, much like she had done to him. Shouldn't she already know the answer to that question already? Her disappearance, the Coalition Civil War, the Revanchist... absolutely none of it could keep him from her in the end. "Kyoko, I'm not going anywhere," he said resolutely. He turned to look at her, about to say more, when a sudden rumbling caused him to jump.

"What the--?!"

So much for lunch.

Makoto rushed out of Kyoko's office and ran alongside her through the hall. Putting her hand to the speaker in her ear, she activated it, calling for Doppo Kunikida of the Coalition Administration.

"Kunikida, report! What's going on?!" Kyoko exclaimed urgently as she sauntered through the corridor with Makoto.

"Commander Kirigiri! There's been an explosion at the officer's quarters! You're gonna want to take a look at this mess for yourself!" The voice of Doppo responded from Kyoko's speaker quickly. Giving an acknowledging nod to Makoto, Kyoko obliged silently, rushing forward to her destination and taking the lead from there.

As the pair reached the source of the emergency, they were hit with a wall of heat and smoke. Wisps of flame poured out of what remained of the officer's quarters and Coalition agents were scattered about in the hallway. Most were safe, but some of the agents were badly hurt. Makoto knelt next to the body of Fandral, realizing after a moment that the man was dead. He closed his eyes and shook his head in despair.

W6Pb090.png

Wynne was moving about the bodies quickly, applying healing magic to those who could use it. "Commander Kyoko," she said once she spotted the pair. She moved over to them quickly, moving fast for a woman her age. "This attack came out of nowhere. Those that can help have done all they can."

Makoto nodded, but then heard someone clear his throat behind him. He turned to find none other than Kyosuke Munakata behind himself and Kyoko.

LpvDvN2.jpg

"Kirigiri. Naegi. I was hoping you two would have things under control until I arrived."

JIrgdD9.png

"A Revanchist soldier must have infiltrated Knowhere," Makoto said, standing up to face Kyosuke.

"Clearly," he replied. He then looked to Wynne. "Did you catch the source of the attack? Do you believe you can track them?"

It took Wynne a moment, but she nodded. "I can try."

"Good. Kyoko, command some of the able-bodied to join me in tracking down the enemy. I will rout this despair from your headquarters."

1579761217217.png

"Right. In all likelihood, this is probably some sort of diversion to split our attention, just like during the Othinus Incident, but if they want us to take their bait so badly..." Kyoko speculated, before once again putting a finger to her speaker.

"All units, to whoever is able, I'm going to need a small team to report to the officers' quarters at once to track down and apprehend the ones who caused this explosion!" The young leader announced to all those listening.

It was up to those within the many teams of the Coalition to make a decision; proceed with the mission to track down the Great Spirits, or report to the officers' quarters to track down potential Revanchist saboteurs.

Foo Fighters, or FF, was refreshed after chugging down a gigantic bottle of Dasani water. She chucked the bottle in the trash and sat down.

God, she was bored.

FF was so bored, she could just nod off to---

"Oh! Fuck!"

She gave a small salute to Kyoko, amped as all hell before speaking.

"Alright! I'm ready!"

Despite all the time that has passed since the initiation of this endeavor, Deoxys hadn't made up its mind on how it felt about the Coalition.

They were, for all intents the purposes, the ideal 'masters' to have in a situation like this. No amount of pedantic calculation could diminish Makoto Naegi and his people have brought to the multiverse. Their actions have ensured the continued existence of the majority of lifeforms, so from every possible perspective, Deoxys should be as cordial with them as it was all those years ago aboard the hallowed halls of the Strike Team. It was many years from its perspective, anyway. The fluidity of time between universes could mean that the Coalition has missed Deoxys for maybe a month or so - maybe a year or more.

It had to have been some time. The scars of that old 'conflict' are still present in the walls of Knowhere. No twisting time could erase that. But as the mission against the Revanchist continued, time would end up twisting nonetheless.

Deoxys swayed it's mind from the Coalition, having silently accompanied with the rest of its team throughout the Knowhere and assigning itself to Dorian Pavus' ODMA squad without much fuss. It absorbed the phrenic atmosphere regarding the mission without needing to ask where they were going - it would be a 'trip down memory lane' for Deoxys and Touma, as the human expression goes. Had it the gumption to speak up, Deoxys would've opted out of going back there.

For a number of reasons.

But there was an objective to be met, and as far as it knows there was nothing to do back on Knowhere. Perhaps Touma and Fiamma would appreciate having Deoxys around for this 'visit'. Perhaps not. Only time would tell.

Deoxys appeared over Touma and Severa's heads, softly drifting after them through the air as they walked.

"It was when Fiamma of the Right attempted to merge his and Touma Kamijou's world with another in order to obtain power over both of them. It was the first 'out-of-universe experience' of mine. It was also when I first made contact with Touma Kamijou," the alien spoke, its eyes drifting towards the man himself. "It is likely he has a better recollection of the event than I do."

"... I was distracted for much of it."

Corrin has been called back with the wounded. The road to the UN was dangerous and Cordelia and Austin needed an escort back to home base. She reported that she would be back when the others were in the care of the UN medics.

Yennefer

Will Vandom was a child. Untrained, unaware of her own limitations, too absorbed in herself. Her pride was her downfall, and resulted in her being taken over by Malevolence. She had allowed herself to fall and thus was recalled. Yennefer thought it was a bad idea to send such a whelp on such important missions such as fighting the Magic God Othinus in the first place. It was only a matter of time before corruption, or death, set in.

Yennefer was a true mage. While not a Coven member, Yennefer was held in high regard in the MEU and an incredibly powerful mage in her own right. When Vandom had been recalled by the Coven for her actions and corruption, Yennefer was sent to replace her in the mission. Part of her training had been to control herself and her emotions, and now that would come into play

Upon arrival, the raven-haired magus would be joining the Time Travelling group. Yennefer had not had much experience in terms of time travelling, but this shouldn't be different from other work she had done.

"Yennefer of Vengerberg." She said, introducing herself to the group.

"...bzzZzzzz..."

Deoxys emitted a snide buzzing sound when Fiamma threw in his comment. Not that Deoxys harbored any personal reservations regarding the human (such things are beyond the priorities of an entity such as Deoxys), but the idea of such a grand scheme suddenly being 'swept under the rug' and forgiven by all involved is illogical at best and concerning at worst. The pokemon pondered about peering into Fiamma of the Right's mind one day, to see if those aspirations are truly extinguished.

Unfortunately, Deoxys had a sense that Fiamma won't be showing himself in front of the alien any time soon.

"Yes," Deoxys flatly responded to Touma, touching its legs to the ground. The entity tilted it's head up, a faint lavender glow briefly surrounding its crystalline core before vanishing.

"I sense no foreign presence in the immediate area. Remain cautious."

"... Except for..."

The creature turned it's gangly body to look at the new arrival. Somehow, Deoxys hadn't picked up her mental signature until now.

"I am Deoxys."

After their rescue ol' Frank had managed to heal himself up rather nicely. He had been very close to say screw it and leave them all to their fates but, if they screwed this up then he might as well tagalong to see that they didn't. Though traveling to the past was right out. Been there, done that, screwed up history even more. Finding a traitor in their midst though, now that was something he could do.

"Yeah that's war for ya," Frank snarked at Libra's comment. "Either we're killing them or they're killing us. Same thing, really, we just think they're the bad guys..." "You sure are, darling." Bayonetta figured her job was still not done and had decided to join the group traveling to the past. Schala had been recuperating at the Coalition, desperately working to provide as much aid as she could. She had also recovered the piece of dreamstone she had previously thrown to another member of the Coalition, which she had used to help re-unite with them after the situation on Silent Earth.

There was so much she wished she could have done... So many losses they had sustained, but hearing about what was going on in the past, Schala knew she couldn't stay behind at the Coalition. Though she wasn't certain if her powers could still allow her to traverse time likethey once did, she was more than willing to use her experience in that department to the best of her ability.

No matter what, she would be sure to prevent any further tragedies from happening, whether it bein the past, the present, or the future.

...

Once they arrived, Schala intently listened to both Deoxys, and the others explain the situation. She had already heard about what had happened with Fiamma of the right, as well as the fact that they had sent a previous entourage to this very time period.

Nodding quietly, she understood immediately what they must do, even if there was a little distraction, courtesy of Little My and Cagliostro's... Disagreement, for the lack of a better word.

Looking towards Ben, seeming a little puzzled as she thought about his question.

"I... Do not believe I have met. 'Cagliostro' is not a name I have ever heard, even when I was home." She said, a frown creasing her face as the conversation beteween Little My and Cagliostro began to get a little heated.

It was then that she cleared her throat, moving forwards, just in time to blink in surprise as she saw Cagliostro produce a copper coin, transmuting it to gold.

"Perhaps we should save this conversation for later. Right now, I believe we must make haste. Time is not on our hands!" She said, somewhat urgently, but paused briefly, eyeing Cagliostro's gold coin she had recently transmuted.

"But, while we move, do you think you could take a look at... This for me?" She asked.

OZr10sH.png

"Dreamstone, they call it. My Kingdom once used it to store magic... And create powerfull weapons. It could even open gates through time. Would a magus such as yourself, know about such a thing?"

While she intended for them to move towards their intended destination as they spoke, Schala seemed eager to see what Cagliostro had to say about her dreamstone shard. After all, she was always willing to learn from those with magic different from her own. It was the reason she had chosen to stay at the Coalition after all, other than... Some commitments she had made.

Feeling that net wrap around his body, Reiner instantly had a bad feeling. Letting out a loud roar in his titan form, he tried to struggle free, to no avail. He could feel his powers leaving him, his connection to those mysterious paths suddenly fading. All this power, and yet, the Revanchist was able to take it all away in no-time.

zfts33G.png

"GRAAAAAH!!!" He cried out in one last desperate effort, using the last of his strength to tear himself out of his nape, gasping for air as he tried to struggle out of his titan, and towards the great Spirit.

But to no avail,as once he was out of his titan, and able to intervene, the spirit was gone, and so was Dhaos.

He had failed.

Clenching his fists tightly until his knuckles turned white, he was outraged, both at his own failures, and his apparent inability to counter the Revanchist's most devastating weapon; those mysterious nets.

But just then, he heard it, the faint voice of Lapis calling his name, as she shifted in the spot on her back.

Flinching a little, he put a firm, but gentle hand on her shoulder.

"Let's go... Lapis. I'm taking you back to the coalition." He said, a determined look crossing his face.

As much as he wished to continue his fight against the Revanchist, he knew they all needed to recuperate after their losses, and co-ordinate with the rest of the Coalition.

No matter what, they still had to protect the multiverse, he still had to save the world, no matter what price was payed.

This was after all, his mission now...

...

As soon as he heard of the explosion, Reiner was quick to follow up on it. He had left Lapis in the care of the medics, who would now be dealing with the recently injured at the site of the explosion.

For the time being, he decided to focus on tending to and questioning the victims. One of the mentioned seeing a boy with blonde hair, which at least was something to work with. He wondered if they resembled his own complexion to any degree...

Eventually, he turned his attention to Natsu, an inquisitive look on his face as he spoke.

"How about you? See anyone strange before the explosion? And did you catch where they might have gone?" He asked.

In spite of his somewhat firm, concentrated expression he seemed relatively benign at the moment, speaking in a tone that almost resembled a big brother kindly addressing a sibling.

Meceliss went with the PAST GROUP while the Courier joined the HQ GROUP.

"Commander Kirigiri and Makoto have their hands full," Kyosuke Munakata said, speaking up as to grab Foo Fighters' attention. "I will be heading this operation."

Kyosuke gave Libra a nod and turned to Wynne. "Tell me, where was the source of the explosion."

Wynne thought for a moment, eventually shaking her head. "If I may, I would suggest we assist the medics in assessing the injured. One might have seen more than I."

"Very well." Agreeing easily with this course of action, Munakata led the way, stepping into the officers' quarters and avoiding the waning flames. The immediate sight was that of destruction, with large parts of the building destroyed. A couple limp bodies were laying about, some being seen to and some...

"Split up," Kyosuke commanded. "Find the survivors and question them."

Among the closest bodies were Natsu, Piper Wright, Shigeo Kageyama, and Sting Eucliffe.

Schala put a hand to her chin, recalling the events that allowed her to escape the grasp of her mother, and eventually Lavos. During the time she had become one with that ethereal being, she found herself able to see everything that happened leading up to her release. Past, present, and future.

There was alot to take in, but she decided to focus first on what Cagliostro was asking about, and the alchemist's knowledge about time distortion, as well has how she percieved the dreamstone fragment.

"In its prime, my Kingdom used a great machine to harness magic. That magic became the foundation for our technology. My mother, blind with power even raised our Kingdom above the clouds. Until the day the being who gave us this magic in the first place, struck it down..." She said, then she paused, recalling the ways others had used dreamstone, particularly in the form of that pendant of hers she had given up.

"But, as powerfull as our magic became, my people knew not how to open time-gates. Such a thing would only be achieved by someone far in the future. Using a dreamstone pendant, they found a weakness in the fabric of time, and opened a hole through it." There was another pause, as she thought deeper on the subject, recalling all that she had discovered throughout her time at the coalition.

"Perhaps, it's not my abilities that prevent me from traveling through time, but... The lack of such weak points outside of my home world. Without them, things such as time gates, would likely be impossible."

This theory in of itself seemed to make sense, at least to her, but there was something she felt she was missing... Perhaps something she had forgotten, or repressed in her memory.

That would be something she would have to think further on, when they had more time. As she spoke with Cagliostro, she couldn't help but turn her gaze to Little My every so often, watching in curiousity as she saw the woman enjoying herself, experiencing the simple, but strange display of magic Cagliostro had managed.

Deadpool would look over at Quentin and feel so bad that he was so confused. It probably didn't help that he hadn't bothered to put him down, being so focused on the mission. "Well, at least someone's having fun," Touma breathed in front of everyone. The boy was still none too eager to revisit his own dangerous past; he felt like he was breaking many unwritten rules by just being in the wrong place in time, but then again, maybe it was not too unlike being in a different dimension anyway.

"As amusing as witnessing the craft of fellow alchemists from different worlds can be, I'm afraid now is hardly the time for such frivolities," an unknown female voice suddenly said from behind however before the group could make much progress forward.

"Aah, well, fair enough, I guess," Touma said, before blinking. "... Wait, what."

Behind the group stood what looked like a young woman with lavender hair adorned in clothing of a darker purple, along with a few other figures behind, including an older looking woman with bright red hair.

"You must be the team sent for us," the girl said flatly.

"Y-Yeah, you could say that," Touma said, gingerly scratching the back of his head. "I guess that makes you the ODMA squad?"

"Indeed. I am Sion Eltnam Atlasia, but simply Sion will do," she introduced herself, though seeming hardly one for pleasantries judging from the look on her face. "I suppose your arrival came none too soon as well, since our own teleporter is a bit worse for wear right now, even if it came in the form of a multiversal state of emergency," the girl continued, nodding briefly toward Dorian.

"Then what the heck do we call you then..." Severa muttered under her breath as these two new faces appeared. Gods, why did everyone involved in Multiversal affairs have to be so eccentric? Little My turned her attention to the two newcomers. Sion, somehow, believes in the pseudoscience that is alchemy. Cagliostro was clearly using magic powers, which is way more valid than alchemy.

Aoko, meanwhile, looks like her mom, The Mymble. By extension, she looks like her sister, The Mymble. By extension, she looks like her other sister, and her other sister, and her other sister.

You get the point, Aoko looks like a Mymble.

Little My, though, didn’t mention that.

Instead, she said this:

“Hey! What’s the big idea? I was watching a magic show!”

Some of the questions from the group fell on deaf ears. Both Natsu and Sting were not breathing. They were beyond saving.

The stimpack helped Piper further and seemed more awake now. She thought on what Billy said and shook her head. "I don't know," she said. she gave the area a brief look over. "It's... such a mess."

"A few people have already been moved to the infirmary," Wynne said. "Makoto and Kyoko will find out if anyone is missing." As for Libra's question, Wynne had to think for a moment. "Not that I am aware of," she admitted.

There were still a few more bodies. These included Hyun Ryu, Ellis, Bart Allen, Shi-Long Lang, and Ty Lee.

"Ah, yes, the scenery," Dorian responded with a sharp tone. "How could I forget?" For Dorian, the multiverse was both fascinating and dull all at once. Like the concept of time travel, Dorian felt it was all just... too much. Too much danger, too much potential for evil men to subjugate others. As much as Dorian enjoyed meeting the people from new, varied worlds, he had to question if they would all be better off being in the dark about the multiverse.

"Hold on," Dorian then said, eyeing the red gem Schala possessed. It looked peculiarly like red lyrium... and judging by the woman's description of the stone, they shared similar properties as well. "Reminds me of something that can be found in my own world," he said to Schala. "Startlingly so, for I've heard from reliable sources that such material will eventually make one go mad. Be careful with that." Interestingly, a lot of Schala's world seemed similar to Thedas, but perhaps that was not too unreasonable, all things considered.

He then turned to Connor, giving him a bit of a smirk. "Oh, Connor, I know how smart you are, but you are someone I would describe as... impulsive. But obviously I would never let harm come to you."

Then, once the group ran into the others, a bolt of electricity flew through the air, aimed at Touma.

Of course, the one who made the attack knew he'd be fine.

"What are you doing here?!" exclaimed Mikoto Misaka. She was glaring at Touma, her face red.

FF backed away from Sting.

“This one’s dead!”

She then pulled out Ty Lee and began to use her stand, which is herself by the way, to attempt to heal her wounds. Hopefully saving her in time so she won’t die.

Gods...this was far worse than it should be. All these casualties... "Thank you, Piper," he said, offering her a forced smile. "Make sure to rest. We will get to the bottom of this." As Foo Fighters moved on to Ty Lee, Libra made his way over to Ellis.

Severa looked at Touma. "Gawds, you really have a knack for girl trouble, don't you?"

Ben, with quick reflexes, dialed his Omnitrix the moment lightning came, but just as quickly, Touma's Imagine Breaker cancelled it out.

"Feedba- Oh yeah, he could do that."

Right before the gang was a Middle Schooler who probably wore shorts underneath her skirt.

"I'm seeing a recurring theme with the women of your life, Touma," Ben says as he briefly glances towards Severa, then glances away, hopefully before she could catch wind. He undials his Omnitrix as it returns to its resting position.

"So, you gonna comment on the inexplicable crowd surrounding him, lass?" Cagliostro asks the girl, "or does he just have people like us by his side every week or two?"

"Man, dead piles always suck, huh?" Frank went up to Bart Allen and poked him on the head. "Do we expect zombies or somethin'? Cause that would be pretty lame."

"Oh I like her," Bayonetta smirked looking on at Mikoto's assault at Touma. "Lower your finger darling. We're friendly." She looked over to Touma. "If it's better we are also not fully associated with the boy."

Mae as well seemed to have fun with the situation. "What is that? A familiar smell in the air! A tinge of...is that...drama?"

Yennefer would also lay into Touma, giving him a once over. “Well, he’s not quite Geralt, but at least he can clean himself.” She said. She would back up Bayonetta. “Yes. We’re here from ODMA.”

"Touma Kamijou regularly encounters conflict with females. This is known." Deoxys flatly commented, having remained silent up until this point. It'd drift forward and halt just a few feet in front of Mikoto, the alien softly hovering in the air as it examined the girl inquisitively though it took a moment to recognize the bolts of electricity dancing between the girl's fingertips, a vision of the past resurfaced in Deoxys' mind - ruined houses, a hot dog stand, and a frustrated girl.

"Mikoto Misaka... I remember you as well during the Fiamma Incident. You were regularly accompanied by a pair of human skeletons. One of them was a vendor for food items."

Of course, Deoxys couldn't forget those two, as much as it'd like to. It turned it's head to Touma. "You recall the skeletons too, do you not?"

Ty Lee was dead. "Both of them," said Wynne under her breath, whatever she meant by that.

Ellis, however, seemed to be alive. His eyes were closed and he was mumbling under his breath. He seemed hurt and delirious. Worry creased Wynne's face as she quickly started using magic to heal him.

"Yeah, he's always surrounded by new people it seems," Mikoto said, crossing her arms. She sounded a bit upset, for whatever reason. "I mean--" A spark of electricity bounced off her, as if reacting to her emotions. "What are either of you doing here?!" She was talking to both Deoxys and Touma now. "What if you ran into your past selves?! It's dangerous!"

She looked away, clenching her fist. "Those skeletons... don't remind me. One of them is bound to show up if we talk about him." When she heard Little My's question, she looked a bit surprised and embarassed, but otherwise didn't respond.

"Well, we're not all quite with ODMA," Dorian said. "Can't say I'm happy to be throwing us all through time, but can't be helped, right?"
