Ngage held back his exit from the ferry to the island, keeping deep into his jacket and hood more out of habit than anything else. He had had some very bad experiences due to just being recognized for what he was, though that had been quite a long time ago now that he thought about it. Once most of the passengers had departed he stepped off the boat and onto the Isla Dela Fortunae, immediately accessing any information he could grab from un-encrypted communications.

Threat detected, immediate termination recommended the AI announced in his head. Silence, there are no threats here. was the typical response he gave it, more from habit than actually listening to it.

As he surveyed the docks and the town beyond he determined a course of action. Head into town and secure a room, possibly find work, try ot blend in, yes, blending was good.

Striding up the docks he was greeted by customs...

Eliminate threats. Eliminate threats. came the insistent plea from the AI once more. Ngage audibly sighed and ignored it. Breezing through customs seemingly single minded questions, "Have you enough funds to depart the island?". The answer came easily and with a chuckle "Certainly." a few hundred years of military back pay always came in handy. The voice was fully synthetic and drew curious looks from the customs agent as he assessed the answer. *Did that thing just chuckle?* was the brief thought dismissed quickly and the press of those fleeing the island weighed upon him.

Walking up the street proper he started getting bits and pieces of information, something about a coup? And it had only happened yesterday? Intriguing, and also most fortunate for had he been on the island he had no doubts he would have been forced to choose sides.

From the press of people leaving it appeared securing accommodations wouldn't be a problem so he headed to the local bar. Information was always easy to get there even if the accuracy was somewhat suspect.
