Eden stands a little under six feet tall, with moonlight-pale skin and shadowy black hair, which is usually obscured under her clothing. She wears thousands of feathers sewn together into a headdress, a skirt, a shawl, anklets and winglike sleeves. Crows, Ravens, Jackdaws and Blackbirds of many shapes and sizes follow her wherever she goes, often occupying nearby windowsills and rooftops and sometimes even perching on her shoulders or arms. Almost all of her jewelry was brought to her by a bird, either lost by the original owner or her avian friend stole it from an open display case.
History
Eden was raised by a reclusive couple in the north, who were devout worshippers of a local spirit. This spirit was said to take the form of a mighty ebon bird, that granted bountiful wisdom and cunning to those that received its favor. Little Eden was the spirits gift to the couple. She showed up on their doorstep as a baby one day, with a little raven perched atop the basket watching over her.
Eden grew up largely separate from the outside world, learning everything she needed to know from her 'parents' or when she would come to the nearby village with her parents to sell their wares and buy food and clothes.
She learned the art of fortune telling as a teenager, and began doing readings and prophecies for money. She happened to get quite a few of them correct, so she has become a somewhat well known Oracle for the north, even being approached by leadership for her readings.
Personality
Eden is curious, quirky and eccentric. She often comes off as much more mysterious and cryptic than she intends, but that only further benefits her livelihood. She can communicate with the kinds of birds that accompany her, and can have them carry out simple tasks for her.
