Pokemon: Journeys of Anteceon Grasslands

She was guiddy running her fingers along the crystal, admiring it's shine. "On to the next city I guess" Charley said for her. She held out the crystal happily and sent out the munchlax. It looked around for a moment then found its new trainer. It came over to her and held up it's hands for another treat. She giggled and kneeled, handing him another block. Charley fluttered down next to the munchlax to inspect it and say hi.

From the top of the hill, Anthony looked around and sees a large lake and a huge mountain area.

"Actually I've been looking to do some fishing, you know to help me relax." he said. "Why don't we head down and chill for a bit."

Audrey nods, happily petting the munchlax. "Lead the way friend." Said Charley. She stands up following him towards the lake. Her new friend following close behind and Charley riding on its head.

Lunari sighed happily as she patted her stomach in content after the meal she had in town. "That sure was a great start to the day after leave the lab huh Ace?"Lunari said while smiling down at her cute little Cyndaquil. The Cyndaquil squealed happily and nodded his head in agreement and the two of them happily walked along the grassy lands of route one. Lunari then opened her bag and rummaged around it until she found the Poke-Gear she was looking for and once found she pulled out of her bag to look over at the map feature. Her Papa had gave her this Poke-Gear that once had belonged to her mother as a going around present and she still had a hard time figuring out how to use it. She fumbled around with it until the map displayed and it told her where her current location was at and it let her know that she was on route one and displayed a picture of the scenery which paled in comparison to the actual view of it.

While busy in looking around on her Poke-Gear Lunari failed to notice what was in front of her but Ace seeing ahead of time noticed something and tried to get Lunari's attention. Lunari told Ace to hold on because she was trying to figure something else but she should have listened to Ace because what happened next was not very pleasant. She felt herself trip over something and in trying not to fall she was waving her hands about trying to regain her balance but only ended up falling backwards onto her butt and making a loud ompf noise in response to landing on her butt. Ace caught the falling Poke-Gear with his small two front arms knowing full well he was going to be able to catch his trainer in time and figured the small gadget to be of importance. Lunari had her eyes closed trying to bear through the pain of her now sore butt to realize what she had tripped over.

A wild slakoth has appeared!

Level: 2

Action: The sloth pokemon cards not that it seems to have been tripped over. It just continues to lie there.

Ace squealed again but this time it was at the wild pokemon that Lunari had tripped over. This time listening to her Pokemon Lunari looked over to what was in front of her and it was a pokemon laying on the ground not having a single care in the world. Lunari was going to get mad at the pokemon who had tripped her but looking at the pokemon closely she started laughing at it. The pokemon was so goofy looking that she could not stop herself. Ace tilted his head wondering why his trainer was laughing and walked over to her giving her the Poke-Gear that had been dropped earlier. Lunari smiled at Ace and thanked him before taking the pokegear at hand and putting it back in her bag before standing back up again. She then dusted herself off and took our her pokedex from her bag and pointed it at the pokemon before her.

The Pokedex responded with a dex entry of Slakoth and from what Lunari got from it she just smiled as the pokemon was pretty much like a slowpoke that she had seen on TV. Very slow and unresponsive it seemed. She really did not want to add this pokemon to her team so she decided it was time to test out her battle skills! "Okay Ace want to try out battling?" she said with enthusiasm. Ace nodded and stood in front of Lunari and displayed a flame on its back as a display of confidence. After picking out Cyndaquil her Papa told her some moves that might be known by Cyndaquil and she had hoped her Papa was right because if he wasn't she would really look like a fool on her first battle. "Okay Ace let us start off with a Quick-Attack!" Lunari yelled out the words. Cyndaquil nodded and ran very fast towards the slakoth!

The slakoth pretty much took the scratch, not lifting it's arm in time. The pokemon opened its mouth and yawned.

Cyndaquil hit him directly but the slakoth seemed fine and she really wondered if the Pokemon was just dense or was super powerful and she did not even realize. The pokemon yawned at Cyndaquil and she wondered what that would even do and was it even a move? The Pokedex chimed in notifying her it was the move called Yawn and it is often used to put pokemon to sleep and this made her nervous. Ace looked alright and she wondered if maybe the yawn had no effect? She shrugged it off and started to think of the other moves her Papa told her about. "Good job Ace! Now let us try kicking it with Double Kick! " Cyndaquil then started to kick the slakoth with its tiny feet hoping to please Lunari.

The slakoth takes the kick with a small cry and it's arms fall and eyes close.

Slakoth has fainted!

Ace has gained 20!

After seeing that she had won the battle she was excited and was about to tell Ace what a wonderful job he did when it seemed Ace fell frontwards on his stomach unmoving. Lunari rushed over to him worried to see if he was alright and sighed in relief as she heard Ace breathing. It seemed the the move yawn indeed worked and her cute little Cyndaquil was now asleep. She smiled at him and whispered what a good job he did in the fight and picked him up in her arms and walked away from the fainted Slakoth. She then came acrossed a shady tree and decided to take a short break here and she sat her Cyndaquil down gently and started to pull the small blanket out from her backpack and then laying it out for Cyndaquil and her to sit on. While moving Cyndaquil unto the blanket he made a small noise as if waking up from his slumber she simply smiled at Ace as he sleepily looked up at her as she gently laid him on the blanket. "Are you awake now Ace?" she said while leaning sitting against the big shady tree. After a few moments of waking up Ace nodded at her and she once again told him what a great job he did in the battle and Ace cried out in happiness at his trainers praise. Lunari then looked towards the view of the mountain and wondered how one of her age would explore such a place. The thought of going to such a place alone scared her slightly but she felt as long as she had Ace she would be fine.

A wild starly has appeared!

Level:
3

Action: From overhead a tiny bird Pokémon circles down to land in the branches of the tree. It looks down at the trainer and her pokemon. "Starly!" it says, flapping it's wings. It fluttered to the ground, trying to drive them off.

Finding her way to the Grasslands, Sera smelt the fresh grass around her. She loved the smell and wanted to just lay there for a couple more hours, but she really couldn't. Sera knew she had to find a new friend, otherwise she'll won't be able to go very far. Taking out a small cookie from her bag, Sera lays the treat on the ground and walks back a good distance.

A wild Spearow has appeared!

Level: 3

Action: The Spearow flies down, and lands near the treat. It hops forward, watching the cookie rather intently, and making sure this wasn't a trap. Once it was sure the cookie wasn't a trap, it began taking small bites from the cookie.

Sera watched as the Spearow pecked at and ate her treat. She made her way slowly towards the pokemon, and attempted to get as close as possible without spooking it.

A wild Spearow has appeared!
Action: The Spearow noticed the approaching trainer and hopped back away from the trainer, trying not to get attacked. It stayed however, waiting and watching for what the trainer might do next.

Sera stopped in her tracks and made sure she didn't move a muscle. It was rather hard as her boundless amounts of energy, but she manged to force a shaky smile, as she was rather nervous at the fact that the Spearow might attack her.

A wild Spearow has appeared!
Action: The Spearow didn't really react much. It tilted its head, and hopped around the trainer to investigate it. A gust of wind blows by while it investigated though, and the trainer's sweet scent reached its nostrils. The Spearow flew up onto the girl's head and tried to find out where that sweet smell was coming from.

Sera froze when the Spearow jumped onto her head. She could feel the pokemon's talons digging into her head. She reached up, trying to at least touch the thing, and hopefully get the Spearow off.

A wild Spearow has appeared!

Action: Seeing the Trainer reach up, the Spearow, began to peck and bite at the trainer's fingers, trying to keep her from touching it. It then began to bite and snap at her hair, as it determined that the scent was clearly coming from the trainer's hair, so it must be made of something sweet.

Sera began to panic silently, as the pokemon began to literally EAT her hair. She pulled her hands back, but with the pokemon having grown a taste for her hair, she needed to do something quick, otherwise she''ll go bald! Seeing as the pokemon was clearly hungry, or just wanted something sweet, she reached into her basket and pulled out a bite sized piece of pastry, and held it out to the Spearow, hoping to get it out of her hair.
