In this thread we teach you about what we expect and would like to see from you - the roleplayer - when writing a character using our dedicated XCOM - A Hidden Truth character template.
Because we understand the need for clarity, here follows a step-by-step guide on how to find the character template, how to get it into your own thread and what to do after you wrote your character.
Before you can use your character, please wait for it to be accepted in the 'Character Listing'-subforum. This is important, because the XCOM - A Hidden Truth GM's will personally review every submitted character.
Questions regarding this can be focussed on the GM's, who are eager to answer any and all questions regarding this and other topics.
Do not, under any circumstance, use unaccepted characters!

Because we understand the need for clarity, here follows a step-by-step guide on how to find the character template, how to get it into your own thread and what to do after you wrote your character.
- Go to the 'Character Creation'-subforum.
- Here you click on the lower 'Post New Thread'-button.
- In the new thread you are now writing, you write that you will be creating and storing your own characters there. Give it a personal twist; it adds to the fun when showing it to others! Oh, and please don't forget to add your name to the title!
- Now that you have created your own character thread, you push the '+Add Tab'-button, which is located on the top of the thread, just below the thread's name.
- The screen that has popped-up after clicking the '+Add Tab'-button, is where you will be creating your actual characters. You start writing your actual character by opening a new tab in your internet browser and going to the 'Character Creation Info'-subforum.
- In the Character Creation Info subforum you click on the 'IMPORTANT || Character Creation Template'-thread.
- In this thread you copy the character sheet template by selecting the entire sheet and pressing CTRL+C. You have now copied the character sheet template!
- With the character sheet template copied, you go back to your previous tab where you still have the little screen saying 'Add Tab'.
- In this tab, you paste the copied character sheet template by pressing CTRL+V.
- Now you can start filling in your character sheet! Please remember to refrain from using 'bolt' when you are filling in your sheet!
- What is next, is copying your newly-written character's name, and pasting it down into the 'Tab Title' shown just above the box where you pasted your character sheet template.
- When you are done with writing your characters, you press the 'Save'-button, effectively adding the tab, along with your newly-written character to your personal dedicated character thread!
