It was too quiet that morning. Mia had definetly noticed the sensitive shift between the typical silence of climbing out of bed and this anticipatory silence of something to come; what that thing would be, time would tell, but whatever it was, it was bound to happen soon.
She also appeared to be the only one to notice this change. None of the other neko seemed to sense it. They would never believe her anyhow, say she did muster the courage to speak. Should she have managed to say so much as a word, it was not likely to get past the growling meows and hisses of kitties fighting for a spot at the crowded wooden breakfast table. Only the bravest even dared to approach one of the two scratched benches during meal time—hence why Mia remained in the corner furthest away from trouble; she wasn't near brave enough to share a simple thought. So, she kept her intuition to herself.
