Before I actually post my story on here I'd like to share what it is actually about and some of the characters that are in it.
Brief
Sword Dance is a story about 5 races that rule over an island called Regulus. A thousand years ago the first leader of one of the races had cursed every race that two Starburns would have enough power to destroy the entire island and the races would turn to dust. He nicknamed the two the Blaze and the Storm. It's the present and the two have already been born. Nobody knows of the Storm's identity but the Blaze's identity has already been found. Many have tried to kill the child and many soldiers have died protecting and attempting to kill the child. Due to the child's background, she decided to defy her identity and her destiny. The child's name was Akari. She became a soldier for her race, willing to protect the island rather than to destroy it. As a soldier she has to protect her race, with her life if necessary. Knowing that the Storm could make an attack any second Akari must figure out who the Storm is before the end of the five races all together.The Island Regulus
Regulus is an island that is surrounded by two other islands, Nami and Polmas. It is quite small for an island and it is in the shape of a fish that looks sad. I don't know why it turned out that way that was purely just coincidence when I was designing it on RPG maker. 
Regulus is split into 6 parts each having a boarder that the others races cannot cross unless they completely must cross the boarder for something important. Anyone who crosses the borders without a good reason is breaking the Regulian law and can be fined 5000 gelds (Gelds is the currency). High ranking soldiers (or low ranking soldiers accompanied by a high ranking soldier) and police officers can cross the borders freely however due to their profession (e.g boarder fights, wars, catching criminals...ext) Although the boarders can't be crossed there is one boarder however, the outcasts. The outcasts are the band of people who are not affiliated with any race, usually banished people or foreigners. They don't stay in one spot but most banished outcasts hang around the area where no one dares to set foot in.
The island has 5 leaders, one for each race but not all five run the country. A leader is chosen from the five races once every leader that runs the island dies. The leader of the island is chosen via democracy where everyone who is able to vote chooses the next leader. If the leader is patronizing the country in some way of another, the other leaders can rightfully throw them off as the leader of the island and sometimes as the leader of their own race. If this does happen, a new leader of that particular race will be chosen by the leaders or if the leaders think the second in command is capable of leading their race properly they will become the new leader. This however sadly enough does not apply to normal leaders who just leader one race and not the whole island which can end up in corruption.
The Five Races
Starburns - Starburns are a lot like humans appearance wise. The most notable different is that they have the ability to use magic and are the only race to use 2 elements at a time. They can be born naturally with heterochromia eyes or with normal eyes. Starburns usually have light coloured hair that can be any colour as long as it is light. With rare occasions Starburns can be born with dark brown hair and these Starburns always have heterochromia eyes. When ageing, Starburns with the more common hair colours gain more colour and therefore become darker however this is not the case with people who have the dark brown hair gene. Instead their hair gain white streaks.

Beastians - Beastians are the feral like humanoid race that can shape shift into their respected animal. They are the most prideful of the races and easy to spot even when in their animal form. Usually their colour scheme can range from natural hair colours but unnatural coloured eyes from unnatural dark colours but natural coloured eyes. The most common types of Beastians are mammals such as cats, dogs, lions, lemurs, pandas, raccoons, etc. Depending on their fur colour or species depends on their element for example a cat Beastian with black fur will have an ability that has the element of darkness.

Warrins - Warrins are the most powerful out of the races these usually are easy to notice with their horns on top of their heads that signify how powerful the Warrin is. The more powerful the Warrin the smaller their horns are. A Warrins horns shrink during the age of 15-30 depending how much they train during this period. Once they stopped shrinking they don't get any more powerful. At rare times, Warrins can be born with on or even no horns, these are rare occurances and usually turn out to be very powerful. Warrins usually do not used weapons, instead their limbs can transform into a weapon they were born with.
Warrins may be the most powerful out of the five races but they are surely the most lustorious and greediest out of the bunch, seeking for more power and authority. They use their power to get what the want and is the race that usually gets corrupted the most.

Characters
Squadron 49
Akari Asuki - Akari Asuki is the main protagonist of sword dance and the second in command of the starburn race. She's loyal to her race and stubborn in which she is hard to pull back from a battle that she wants to end. She has a good heart but is often hot-headed due to her short temper and is extremely anti-social with other people due to her being the blaze. She only usually interacts with anyone inside her squadron (squadron 49) or her enemies.
