Ailise was a strong willed woman, but frail in body and tragically died trying to give birth to their first child, a son Aodh. Orphaned at an early age, Adalyn was bounced around quite often. It wasn't until she became an adult, that she took up the spear. She dedicated herself to the craft, and one man from the North decided she had talent for it and decided to take her under his wing, moving her to Bliania to train with the warriors from the north. She returned to the lands fully trained and one of the better warriors of the spear in the Zeelow. She has been hired to be a bodyguard of a strange young man, and has kept to his side as dutifully as she can.

Orazio's parents passed away early on. He barely remembers them. But not that it matters, they can't come back from the dead in order to keep him from the over dominating pressure of his step mother. Thankfully, Evelina decided to let the academy raise him instead of taking on the task herself, and very infrequently visits him at the academy. However, it doesn't stop Orazio from being tormented by the letters she sends, or the disappointment that he knows will come as soon as she does visit. The boy is incredibly intelligent and has a talent in understanding warfare. He is great at giving advice to his peers, although he was never good at listening to his own advice.
