Mira stretched as she whined. It was late and she was tired, but she had so much more to do! The start of the year wasn't kind to second-years and she was not any more excited thinking about next year when they would be finished. She had her laptop open with a huge file, her ORB with another one, and there were multiple books as well strewn around her bed, though she was way too sleepy to actually use them as they were intended. She pouted as she realised that she had nearly no light in her room (the light in the big lamp above her went out a while ago, and she decided she wouldn't need to worry about it. She didn't feel like a smart person at the moment.) In the end, with a defeated sigh, Mira decided she needed an environment change.
She got up, and packed up all of her study materials, except for her laptop, and forged them all into one thing with her phone, until she would only hold the ORB. So compact, it made her feel satisfied. She opened her room's door, walking out silently. It was almost midnight, and she was pretty sure Artoria was asleep, but just in case, Mira wanted to be as quiet as possible. When she saw that the beeline for the main door was empty, she sneaked out, taking her time closing the door. She took a deep breath once she was walking down the hallways that quickly turned into a yawn.
In order to get to the library, she would have to cross the portals in the dormitory, then go up a few levels and she would be there. Easy enough route that for the most part, her legs carried her and she could just look around, trying to find new things about the buildings that she hasn't noticed before. Maybe seeing a cat or a snake going around, running away from their owners, that would have been very nice, Mira smiled. She loved pets. She crossed the portal thinking about getting one.
The thought of having a small buddy made her feel warm and she couldn't wipe off the smile from her face. That was when she spotted someone else in the hallway, a dark, tall figure, another student. The man was facing the other way, and Mira was sure that she hadn't been spotted yet. So, being in such a great mood and being very, very sleepy, she decided to take her shoes off, then making her way towards the stranger, her socks making no noise whatsoever, then when she was close enough, she yelled a loud "Boooo!" as she pushed one hand on the stranger's back. The scare quickly turned into Amira laughing, and petting the other's back "Sorry, sorry, I hope I didn't scare your pants off, but this was so much fun!"
