Kestrel is young but curvy, with bright eyes like that of a falcon and wings matching that of an African Crowned Eagle. She would be considered "average" in her race, at a medium height and wingspan of about 1.5 meters on either side of her. Her favourite colour is green and so she is usually donned in at least one item of clothing this colour. Any clothing she has is tailored with holes for her wings to fit through and buttons or ties at the back to make dressing easier.
Skills and Abilities:
Out of the other young adults her age, she is one of the fastest flyers with the biggest stamina. Kestrel is agile and quick, not only in the air but also with a sword or bow and arrows.
Personality:
Kestrel can be somewhat quiet and reserved, but once she warms up to someone she is quick to laugh and make pleasant conversation. Although she usually avoids confrontation, she has been known to finish a fight if someone else starts it.

Zara is the perfect combination of feminine curve and warrior strength. Her years of both water-bound and on-land training to protect the secrets of her watery-clan have helped in sculpting her physique. She moves with grace and purpose, always observing her surroundings. Zara has elegant but ethereal features, her face usually sticking out from a crowd. This femme usually wears loose dresses or leather pants and billowing tunic-top if she is travelling. However, Zara always has silver necklace around her neck with a single pearl dangling off it as a pendant. Her water-bound form is everything the legends speak of and more. Across the middle of her chest and from the waist-down her skin melds into silver-blue scales that shimmer with iridescent hues. Webbing forms between her fingers and ribbon-like fins almost transparent in nature form her main tail fins as well as pelvic fins on her waist.

Although legends of sirens have somewhat distorted the truth, there is a reason behind the stories of sirens singing men to their deaths. Zara's voice does not require singing to do this however, her words like silk and velvet holding the ability to manipulate the person listening into doing what she asks.When she is emotional though, her ability can manifest without her intending it to. Sirens have also been said to be solely aquatic creatures, however few people know that sirens can in fact shift forms to suit either land or water. She is also skilled with a blade, preferring swords or daggers. Rumor has it that out of water, sirens have some control of the watery element that they were born of, but no evidence exists to prove this.

Zara is quiet and observant. She is usually not impulsive, but rather prefers to think things through to analyze a situation. However, in times of extreme emotion she can become just the opposite. She lived out most of her life in relative tranquility, growing stronger and more curious with each year until she eventually joined the ranks of the Clan Protectors, the sirens sworn to uphold the strength of the clan. She was taught to fight for honor and glory, always keeping the safety of her people at the forefront of her mind.
Strange stirrings occurred over the years, talks of ships sailing into waters they shouldn't and other clans interacting with races they hadn't seen for millennia. Fear spread throughout the families that Zara and the other Clan Protectors and sworn to keep safe, most of the whisperings that passed among the ranks of the Protectors brushed off as mere rumors.
That is, until the fateful night Zara found out the truth. A truth so earth-shattering that it had forced her to turn her back on everything she knew and to leave the waters she had called home for so long.

Typical of others like her race, Valerie has an other-wordly, ethereal beauty about her. Her physique is strong, with feminine curves that set her apart from male elves. Her ears are the first feature to set her apart from an ordinary human, being elongated and pointed at the tips. The right ear is pierced with a small silver hoop that dangles mid-way up to the tip while the lobes of both also contain small silver hoops. Her hair changes, sometimes being loose and decorated with braids or small silver clasps or else it is pulled back into a loose bun. Her clothing also varies, the female preferring leather pants and a long, loose tunic top while hunting with a cloak around her shoulders. During events at elvish court or social gatherings however she is required to dress for the occasion lest she wish to bring shame and negative attention to her family. Thus, for such occasions she opts for elvish dresses made of fine, flowing material and often decorated with strange jewelry and other accessories.

With her father being the war and military leader and hence having a seat of importance on the elvish council of nobles, Valerie was trained in weaponry from a young age. Although she can manage with most things, her preference and better skill lies with a longbow, dagger and elvish sword. The elvish sword is designed specifically to be a cross between a broadsword and falchion, not as straight or curved as each but somewhere in the middle. The metal of both her dagger and sword blade is engraved with elvish runes and the hilt embossed with imagery of forest animals and winding vines and roots. All elves are said to be in tune with nature and this is true with Valerie. She has skill in tracking and hunting and depending on the sentience of an animal she may be able to communicate with them. Valerie also has minor skill in terms of healing and treating wounds using plants.
