View attachment 584
Name: Mina Palen
Aliases: None
Title(s): None
Role: Street performer (?)

Moral Alignment: Chaotic Neutral/Good
Affiliations: N/A
Hometown: Abaddon
Relationships:
Micah: Mina's brother lives in New Eden. The pair have not seen each other for 5 years, but were on fairly good terms when Mina left. Were very close as kids.

Race: Human
Subrace: N/A
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Appearance: Mina is slightly on the shorter side, with a "dancer's body" (that being athletic, but thin) and a heart-shaped face. Her skin is light brown, while her almond-shaped eyes are a pale greyish-blue color. Her hair is cut short and somewhat choppy, and is a muted silver color. When she's working, she'll be in her dancing outfit; a black skin-tight suit that covers her arms and legs, but has a scoop-necked collar. The outfit is covered in a thin, transparent fabric that shimmers when she moves. When she's dancing, she's always barefoot. However, when she isn't working she'll be wearing typical, unassuming clothing that doesn't draw attention to herself.
Equipment:
Literally nothing but the clothes on her back at the moment.

Combat Prowess: Mina is no warrior, though she could probably hold her own against the average person, due to her speed and agility. She's also not too bad with knives, so long as she doesn't need to throw them. Other than that, Mina is strictly defensive rather than offensive.
Spells/Powers: Mina does not believe she has any powers, however, this is not true. Rather, her powers are not the kind used in a battle of strength, but in a battle of wits.
Hyper-Intelligence - Mina's mind works faster than the average person's. She processes things at a faster rate, and has a knack for solving puzzles.
Hyper-Observant - Ability to pick out the tiniest details that most people would overlook and make sense of them. With this comes heightened senses (touch, scent, sight, taste, sound), but not to an extreme level.
Photographic and Audiographic Memory - Ability to perfectly recall anything seen and/or heard even if she's only seen or heard it once.
Fast Reflexes - A side effect of her over-active brain.
Weaknesses: In a fight, she's pretty much rubbish, so she avoids them whenever she can. As for her powers, a major side effect is that she has ADD. She has trouble focusing on things for any extended period of time, and tends to jump from one train of thought to another without warning, which can drive people crazy. Mina can go from 0-100 in less than a second, but when she finally crashes, she's out like a light.

Personality: Ever curious, Mina has a tendency to get herself into trouble by sticking her nose into other people's business. She's socially adept, and very perceptive when it comes to people. If you have a secret, she'll go to the ends of the earth to find out what it is. Like most performers, she has a flair for the dramatic, and isn't one to shy away from an argument. Mina is quite bold and confrontational; perhaps more so than is healthy for someone of her limited skill set. Though despite her apparent rashness, she's also clever, and tends to think outside the box. She's quick to adapt in sticky situations. Her morals are questionable; she's willing to do what she needs to do to survive, even if that means throwing someone else under the bus or blackmailing every once in a while. While she's quick to talk about others, she'll generally avoid speaking about herself, especially when things get personal. Her life is her own... And so is everyone else's.
Skills: Obviously, Mina is a talented ribbon dancer. Unbeknownst to her, Mina is practically a born detective.

Bio/History: Mina was born and raised in the city of New Eden, along with her brother Micah, though it didn't take long for her to chafe against the strict order of the city. Desiring excitement and an experience with the unpredictable side of life, at the age of 18 she left New Eden and moved to Abaddon to become a street performer (much to the chagrin of her brother). The journey through Oblitus was not an easy one, and while Mina arrived in Abaddon safely, the same cannot be said for her mental state. There were a few traumatic events that went down. Other than that, for a while, things went well for Mina, and her skills were well received once she reached Abaddon. However, all good things must come to an end, and over time the luster of the city wore off for the girl. Mina began to see the darker side of Abaddon, and while she wasn't necessarily disturbed by what she saw, she quickly came to the realization that if she was going to make it here for any length of time, she would have to be clever. After all, a lone girl on the streets isn't exactly the safest profession. Now, Mina does whatever she can to make money and guarantee her own personal safety, morally grey activities included, although blackmail seems to be a favorite of hers.
Other: Nopety nope

Name: Dante Aureus
Aliases: Born under the name Damian Arii
Title(s):
Role:
Master of Coin

Moral Alignment: True Neutral
Affiliations: Underground
Hometown: New Eden
Relationships: None as of yet

Race: Angel
Subrace: Elf
Age: About 200, but looks to be in early 30's.
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Asexual
Appearance: Dante's on the taller side with an average build for his height. His face has more angular features, but isn't necessarily harsh. His skin is tanned and his hair is blond and curly. His eyes are usually gold or honey-colored, but if he uses his powers (or on the rare occasion that he gets angry) his eyes will become a glowing, solid gold color, appearing to have no pupils. He likes to dress in finer clothes, usually in a black suit with gold embellishments.
Equipment: Always has money on him. He also has an enchanted satchel that can hold an unlimited number of small objects; perfect for stashing his "collectibles" in when he comes across them.

Combat Prowess: He has a small amount of experience with most weapons, though he's an expert with a bow and is proficient with swords and knives. He is resistant to most mental attacks, as he has a strong will.
Spells/Powers: Dante's powers are light based, meaning they draw power from light sources around him. Depending on the light, his powers may be weaker or stronger. For example, in the sunlight his powers will be incredibly strong, while in moonlight or artificial light they will be about average strength. Whenever he uses his powers around artificial light, the lighting will slightly dim.
Manifest Weapons - Dante can manifest any kind of weapon out of pure light. At full strength, these weapons can burn through most kinds of metal. At average strength, they will be just as strong as their commonplace counterparts. The weapons will take on the same color of the most prominent light source. So for example, in the sunlight his weapon would be gold, while in the moonlight it would be silver. These weapons will disappear if they leave Dante's hand.
Forcefield - Dante can create a defensive forcefield made out of light. The strength and coverage of the forcefield is dependent on the strength of the light source. In sunlight, this forcefield is neigh impenetrable, and can shield multiple people at one time. In moonlight or artificial light, the forcefield is about as strong as your average shield, and can only shield Dante. When activated, deactivated, or whenever it is struck, the forcefield will create a blinding flash of white light. At the very least, it will make everyone in the vicinity see spots, including Dante.
Weaknesses: Since Dante's powers are light-based, that means they are rendered useless in the dark. In addition to this, Dante cannot both manifest a weapon and create a forcefield at the same time, meaning he has to drop one to activate the other. While this process only lasts about a second, he would be vulnerable for this period of time. It is also rare for him to be emotionally invested in a fight, which can be an advantage in some ways, since he won't be blinded by his emotions, but a disadvantage in that he has no passion (unless he perceives it to be a life or death situation).

Personality: Dante is very cool-headed and self-confident. He is intelligent, and can often come off as aloof. He is generally oblivious to emotional situations, and only makes decisions based on logic. He does not allow himself to feel intense emotions, which is how he stays so calm; he feels that he is “above” all of that. His lack of emotions can make him seem cold-hearted, though he has just as much propensity for generosity as he does for cruelty. However, if you do somehow manage to get on his bad side, you'll probably want to leave town. He has a tendency to hold a grudge. He is also slightly OCD, and doesn’t like other people touching his stuff. Finally, Dante is a total pack rat. He has this strange obsession with collecting random objects, which may or may not be perceived as valuable. If he sees something he likes, he'll probably just take it, whether it belongs to someone or not. If the owner is nearby he might trade for it, but if not, well... Finders keepers.
Skills: A shrewd businessman and good with finances. Can usually tell the value of something just by looking at it (although he doesn't always care about the technical value).

Bio/History: Dante grew up in New Eden as the son of a wealthy banker. When he was old enough, his father made him his business partner. However, that probably wasn’t the wisest choice, because over time he learned that Dante, then called Damian, had been siphoning money into his own pocket in order to buy his… Trinkets. Upon learning this, Dante’s father had every intention of turning him in to the authorities, but Dante got wind of it first and left before his father could act. He moved to a different section of the city, changed his name, and started up his own small banking business. His business was pretty shady, often involving taking advantage of the less fortunate. However, it would also attract poorer people because Dante would provide an “easy” way for them to have their debts forgiven: find him more trinkets. No one really knows where he got all the money to fund his business, but it’s probably safe to assume that it wasn’t through legal activities. Eventually, the Underground approached him and offered him a job as their Master of Coin, which he happily accepted. He's been working with them for about 50 years now, though he still technically runs his banking business on the side.
Other: If anyone is kind enough to bring trinkets to Dante, it's likely that they'll be greatly rewarded. But only if it's something he likes.

Name: Tor’Mur Gralog Makror-Dul Smith
Aliases:
Nickname is Tor
Title(s): First Mate
Role: Pirate on the “Fortune Slave”

Moral Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Affiliations: Pirates; former gladiator
Hometown: Born in Abaddon, lives at sea
Relationships: Buds with the Captain. Hates pretty much everyone else unless given a reason to feel otherwise.

Race: Daemon
Subrace: Half Lycanthrope, half Orc
Age: 53, but appears to be 30
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Appearance: Tor’Mur is very tall and has a bulky figure. She’s clearly very strong. Her skin is dark grey with a bluish tinge to it, and her eyes are orange. Her facial features are more masculine than feminine, and the incisors of her lower jaw are quite long, causing them to be visible even when her mouth is closed (she has an underbite). She has many scars from her time as a gladiator, some of them indicating many near-death experiences. Her hair is black and coarse, and is always in thick braid that reaches down past her bum. She always wears men’s clothing, because she can’t seem to fit into anything made for women. More often than not, people mistake Tor’Mur for a man.

Equipment:

Little Buddy - A large gun best described as being akin to a small, portable cannon. Packs a powerful punch, but must be reloaded after every use. Would probably throw most people over the railing if they tried to use it. When not in use, this is usually strapped to Tor’Mur’s back. (Created specially for her by Gosberg.)
Scimitar - Chosen because of its weight and powerful striking capabilities. Aside from “Little Buddy,” this is Tor’Mur’s favorite weapon.
2 Blunderbuss Guns - Not particularly accurate, but good at close range. They’re muzzle-loaded, and have a tendency to misfire, but are easy to use and inflict quite a bit of damage.
Tomahawk - For embedding in people’s skulls.

Combat Prowess:
Tor’Mur has an extremely brutal fighting style. Having been in the gladiator arena, she’s best at close combat being good at both hand-to-hand combat and with her sword. She’s definitely not one to shy away from violence, and almost never goes on defense.
Spells/Powers:
Enhanced strength - Though she is already quite strong on her own, her werewolf heritage gives her double the strength another person her size would have.
Wolf transformation - Because she is only half werewolf, Tor’Mur cannot turn full wolf, but can instead take on wolf characteristics on will. ie. Grows claws, sprouts patchy fur all over her body, and bulks up even more than she already is. Her eyes turn milky white. All reasoning goes out the window when she transforms, and she takes on animalistic instincts. Over all, she’s a terrifying force in this form, and has difficulty identifying friend from foe.
Weaknesses: Strategy is not her forte; she just attacks full force in any circumstance, which means she will tire more quickly. While she is very powerful, she is not very nimble, and could easily be beaten by someone who could dodge her attacks. In regards to her wolf transformation, she doesn’t do it very often because of the danger it would be to the crew. However, whenever there’s a full moon she has trouble controlling the transformation, and will probably need to be restrained to keep from hurting anyone.

Personality:
Tor’Mur is very aggressive, and while she’s not necessarily stupid, she is definitely a “shoot first and then shoot again later” kind of person. She’s intimidating, shouts a lot, and seems to take pleasure in beating people up. Likes to insult people. It is fairly easy to provoke her, although it would not be wise to do so, because she will beat the crap out of you if you even look at her sideways. She is not partial to who she beats up, and has even taken a few swipes at the Captain once or twice. A particularly touchy subject for her is her appearance, and she hates being called a man. She dislikes pretty girls because she is jealous of them, as she secretly longs for love. On the rare occasion when she isn’t ticked off at someone (usually when she’s drunk), she’s actually got a great sense of humor. Loves alcohol and sea shanties.
Skills: Knows how the ship works, decent at navigation, actually isn’t bad at rallying the troops.

Bio/History:
Since Tor’Mur doesn’t talk about her past before she joined the Fortune Slave, most people don’t know much about her early life, except maybe Zathrian. Tor’Mur was raised by her father, a werewolf, after her mother died in childbirth. From a young age, her father taught her to fight with the intention of her being a gladiator when she got older. When she was old enough, she did indeed become a gladiator, managing to hold her own in the arena for quite some time. The experience scarred her for life, both literally and metaphorically. Eventually she got sick of it all, and managed to escape the vicious cycle, only to end up being recruited by a group of pirates. She worked with them for a few years, throughly enjoying the freedom being a pirate granted her, before her ship was taken over by the Fortune Slave. Given the option between death or joining the crew of the Fortune Slave, Tor’Mur obviously chose the latter. There, she met Z, and the two eventually committed mutiny. Z made her the new First Mate, and the rest is history.
Other: May or may not have a small crush on Zathrian. Don’t tell anyone.

View attachment 749 Name: Kaleo
Aliases: The Mute; The Cursed Child
Title(s):
Role:
Soon to be Circle of Sanctity Converter

Moral Alignment: Neutral Evil
Affiliations: Circle of Sanctity
Hometown: Abaddon
Relationships: TBD

Race: Daemon
Subrace: Lycanthrope
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Appearance: Kaleo is of average height and weight and toned, but not particularly muscular. His hair is dark brown and relatively short, but long enough to have small braids hidden throughout his locks. He has expressive brown eyes and an attractive face, and usually has two streaks of red paint across the bridge of his nose. At least, most people think it's paint.
Equipment:
Mirage - An elegant, silver dagger with a button on the end that releases black smoke. For weak-minded beings, this smoke can cause them to see things that aren't actually there. For others, it will simply act as a smokescreen.

Combat Prowess: A master with Mirage, but refuses to use any other weapons. He seems to have a strange attachment to it. He is proficient at hand-to-hand combat, and has greater strength than his appearance would suggest, thanks to his werewolf blood. Mind-altering magic generally does not effect him.
Spells/Powers:
- Wolf transformation; turns into a lean, brown-furred wolf with gold eyes
- Knowing people's greatest fears just by looking at them for a while
- Upon physical contact, Kaleo can cause people to fall into a state of intense fear. If the person does not have a particularly strong will or resistance to mind-altering magic, they will begin to see their greatest fear manifest in front of them. (ie: if it's spiders, spiders would be crawling all over their body. If it's the death of a loved one, they'll see them die before their eyes.) Sometimes this can lead the victim to take their own life. If the person does have a strong will or resistance to mind-altering magic, they will still feel the effects of fear, though may not actually see anything. If someone is already afraid when Kaleo touches them, the effects are much stronger, and the visions much more vivid.
Weaknesses: Kaleo is obviously limited in the weapons he can use. Not to mention, he's incredibly mentally unstable, which technically could be either an advantage or disadvantage depending on the fight. Also can't talk, so if he gets in a situation where he needs help... He's screwed.

Personality: Kaleo has a strong morbid curiosity, as well as incredibly dark thoughts hidden behind his sweet face. Often mistaken for being weak or compliant, Kaleo is quite the opposite. He sees the beauty in things most people would find grotesque or disturbing, and he has a tendency to think in rhymes. In short, he's completely insane, but most people don't know it until they look in his eyes for a little too long.
Skills: Kaleo is a poet. Although, most people probably wouldn't find his poetry very... Attractive.

Bio/History: Kaleo was born and raised in the gutters, alone from the moment he could sustain himself. From birth, he never uttered a sound, leading his parents to think he was cursed. They got rid of him as soon as they could. Kaleo roamed the streets, barely surviving by using his powers to take from others. Rumors eventually spread about him; that those who came across him were driven insane or went missing altogether. Anyone who had heard of him did their best to keep their distance.
Other: He cray cray

Name: Micah Palen
Aliases:
Title(s):
Role: Royal Guard; Private

Moral Alignment: Lawful Good
Affiliations: New Eden Royal Guard
Hometown: New Eden
Relationships:
His sister, Mina, left New Eden for Abaddon 5 years ago. They were on relatively good terms when she left, but he has not heard from her since, not even knowing whether she made it to Abaddon or not.

Race: Human
Subrace:
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Appearance: Much like his sister, Micah is on the shorter side with a somewhat slender build, despite having been in the Royal Guard for the last year. His skin is light brown, his almond-shaped eyes are a pale green color. Micah's black hair is cut short to military standard, but if he could have it his way he would wear it slightly longer. He has a baby-ish face, and so people often mistake him for being younger than he actually is. On duty, he's in his Royal Guard uniform, but off duty he wears simple brown pants with a loose white shirt.
Equipment:
Royal Guard armor - Private rank. Therefore, he wears mostly chainmail rather than plate armor, and an open face helmet. He has a chest plate with the Royal Guard insignia on it, as well as metal vambraces and shin guards. The helmet's a little big for him, and has a tendency to slip around.
Sword - A simple steel blade. The cheapest the Guard could afford.
Shield - A heavy, round, steel shield that covers the majority of his torso. Has the Royal Guard insignia emblazoned on it. Micah will ditch the shield whenever he can, because it's too cumbersome to be practical in a fight.

Combat Prowess: Micah is not strong enough to be good in a hand-to-hand fight, though he has an impressive knack for swordplay, despite his young age. However, his fighting style does not mix well with his heavy armor, as his style relies on speed and agility, overwhelming the enemy with the sheer number of strikes.
Spells/Powers:
- Can teleport short distances, but not through objects or walls unless there is an opening his body would already be able to fit through. Especially handy in a fight.
- Enhanced reflexes
- Enhanced speed
Weaknesses: Micah is not confident in his abilities, which sometimes causes him to use them wrong. For example, he might not teleport to where he intends to, or sometimes he might accidentally activate his teleportation if he's nervous.

Personality: Micah is loyal to a fault; once he latches on to something, whether it be a person or a cause, he is willing to sacrifice almost anything to protect it. He has a strong moral code that he holds above all else. In spite of this though, Micah is a fairly timid thing. He usually appears uncomfortable in his own skin, and lacks the confidence to live up to his full potential. He is not quiet, but he does have a tendency to say the wrong thing at the wrong time simply because he's nervous. He's terrible at banter, and his childlike innocence means he will often miss inappropriate or offensive comments in a conversation. Micah is a follower, not a leader. That said, he's not a sheep, and if he feels that those in authority are wrong, he will stand up for what he believes in.
Skills: His sister forced him to dance with her when he was young, so Micah's actually a pretty good dancer. Not that he would tell anyone that.

Bio/History: Micah grew up in a decent home with his sister Mina. The two siblings were very close growing up, but eventually Mina started to drift her own way, always being the more free-spirited of the two. When Micah was 13, his sister chose to move to Abaddon, leaving Micah behind. It felt like a betrayal to the boy, having his closest friend suddenly choosing to leave without a moment's notice. Still, he eventually moved past it, though he has never been as close to anyone as he was to Mina all those years ago. When Micah was old enough, he joined the Royal Guard, just as he had always dreamed of doing. But everyone knows that dreams often do not live up to one's expectation, and after a few months in, Micah decided that guarding doorways for no apparent reason really sucks. However, he's determined to finish what he started to the best of his ability.
Other: Nah, bruh.

Name: Phobos
Aliases: Fear (Kaleo's name for him)
Title(s): Father of Fear
Role: TBA

Moral Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Affiliations: Former servant of Satan
Hometown: Literally Hell
Relationships: More or less friends with Sunil

Race: Hellspawn
Subrace: Spirit
Age: As old as Hell itself
Gender: Male(?)
Sexual Orientation: N/A
Appearance: Currently, Phobos has no form, as he is inhabiting Kaleo's body. However, when he appears to Kaleo he appears in the form of a smokey black figure with glowing white eyes. Since he is a spirit, his body is not restricted to traditional forms. Outside of Hell, Phobos has no physical body, and must possess people instead.
Equipment:
Mirage: A dagger that is shared between Phobos and Kaleo. Not much is known about the dagger, save that it helped him escape Hell, and at one point he stabbed Sunil with it. *see Kaleo's CS for physical description*

Combat Prowess: TBA
Spells/Powers: Kaleo currently uses Phobos' powers, though since they are not natural to Kaleo's body, these powers are not at their full capacity. Phobos can communicate telepathically with other Hellspawn, or those created by Satan. Other than that, TBA.
Weaknesses: Phobos is dependent on a host body as long as he is outside of Hell. This means that his powers are significantly decreased, and depending on the host, he may not have full control of his actions. Currently, he has very little control over Kaleo save for of the psychological variety. Phobos can take over Kaleo's body for a short period of time, but because of Kaleo's strong will, this does not usually last for long.

Personality: Phobos is very sly and sadistic. Sometimes this will take a physical manifestation, but more often than not it is psychological. Phobos has a rebellious nature, but is also very patient. Revenge is a dish best served cold, as they say. He is confident, prideful, always enjoys a bit of flattery, and has a twisted sense of humor. He feeds off the fears of others, but he himself is virtually incapable of feeling fear.
Skills: N/A

Bio/History: Most of this is TBA, but here's what's known so far:
Phobos was created by Satan for a currently unknown purpose. About 200 years ago, Phobos used the dagger Mirage to escape Hell. Somewhere along the way, he encountered Sunil in an alternate form and stabbed him with said dagger. For the last 200 years, Phobos has been possessing the bodies of various children (he would move to a newborn child every time his current host died), just wreaking general havoc within Abaddon with his powers, though still being quite hush-hush about the whole thing. He has remained undetected since he escaped, and intends to keep it that way in order to prevent being sent back to Hell. Lucifer does not know that Phobos abandoned his duties. Currently, Phobos is inhabiting Kaleo, the only one who has survived the strain Phobos' presence takes on one's body over an extended period of time. Kaleo is Phobos' longest surviving host because of his resistance to the Hellspawn, but the two are currently in a psychological war with one another as Phobos continues to try to take full control of Kaleo's body.
Other: He's eeeeeeeeeeeevil

Name: Serin
Aliases:
Title(s):
The Seer; The Fortune Teller
Role: Fortune Teller

Moral Alignment:
Neutral Evil
Affiliations: None as of yet
Hometown: Nomadic. Currently in Oblitus, but has visited both Abaddon and New Eden in the past.
Relationships:
Mentor - An old woman who taught him how to see the future. She was like a mother figure to him.
Celeste - A Djinn that he made a contract with 108 years ago.

Race:
Unseelie Faery
Subrace:
Age:
523, looks about 25
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual

Appearance:
Serin is about average height, but has a lankier build. His skin is white and his hair is a light brown color, kept fairly short. His eyes are nonexistent; burnt out when he was still a child. The flesh in and around his eye sockets is covered with pink, bubbled up scars; a gruesome sight. However, he always keeps his disfigurement covered up with a sash around his eyes. Aside from his eyes, his face is nice to look at. His clothing is of finer quality (he had to do something with all his money, he might as well be comfortable) however, since he’s blind, the clothes don’t exactly match. They’re not bad, just a little odd to look at. Otherwise, his clothes are meant to be functional, and withstand the harsh elements of Oblitus. His wings are a different matter. Originally, they were a semi-transparent green color, but now they are sickly green and filled with rotting holes that are very slowly eating away at his wings. He never brings his wings out, as it would be quite painful.
Equipment: Has a fairly large pack he carries around with him, which contains the materials necessary for a small tent, which serves as both his portable home and the area where he usually tells people’s fortunes. The tent is made of multicolored, patchwork fabric so as to attract attention. He also has all the materials he needs to survive out in the wild on his own. Aside from this:
Ring of Foresight - An unassuming, silver band with a shape of a simplistic eye etched into the top of it. Allows Serin to see the future. Always worn on his right ring finger.
Staff - A plain, wooden staff that can either be used as a walking stick or a weapon. It’s about as tall as Serin.

Combat Prowess:
Skilled at martial arts, especially with his staff. He’s had plenty of chances to beat the crap out of people over his lifetime, so he’s gotten pretty good at it. Very fast. Most of the time, people don’t even know for sure that he’s blind. He’s decent with a sword, and obviously ranged weapons aren’t an option for him.
Spells/Powers:
Heightened Senses - As a result of his blindness, his other senses have heightened over time to compensate for his handicap. His senses of hearing, touch, and smell have developed to the point where he can actually use a form of echolocation to get around. He can also feel vibrations in the air, which helps him sense the movements of people around him.
Faery Dust - The dust from his wings can rot right through human flesh in a matter of a few minutes. Once it’s landed on the skin, it’s almost impossible to get off unless you douse yourself in water. The dust is extremely potent, so much so that Serin can’t actually use it, as it destroys his wings. He’s only used it once, and he believes that if he uses it again he will completely lose what’s left of his wings.
Gravity Manipulation - The ability to walk on anything as if walking on flat ground. Ie: walking on walls, ceilings, etc. He can’t strengthen or weaken gravity itself, so much as shift its direction. The power only affects him, unless he’s holding on to someone or something else.
Seer - As long as Serin has the ring on his hand, he can enter a trance-like state and see visions of the future. However, the accuracy of these visions is flakey, as sometimes they will show things that are guaranteed to happen, and sometimes they only show things that MIGHT happen. Interpretation of the visions is also an area Serin is not particularly good at.
Emotional Influence - Power he traded a Djinn for. The ability to influence people’s emotions in a certain direction. Does not require any physical movement on Serin’s part, but the stronger the influence he puts on someone, the more focused he will have to be. Usually he uses this as a simple, blanket-like power that affects everyone in the immediate area in an almost undetectable manner. If he focuses all his energy on one particular person, the influence will be much stronger, but might give Serin a bit of a headache the more he pushes their emotions. People immune to mental magic will not be affected.
Weaknesses: First of all, he’s blind. While he can get around pretty well for the most part, if his senses were overwhelmed he might not be able to function. As to the future-seeing ability, when Serin goes into a trance he can only stay in the trance for about 10 minutes each day until his body dies, as it completely shuts down every time he goes into a trance. Because of this, Serin will usually emerge from a trance weakened and short of breath. He’s most vulnerable in this time.

Personality:
In a word, bipolar. One minute Serin will appear friendly and charismatic with a sharp wit and sense of humor, and the next minute he might try to kill you for seemingly no reason at all. He’s incredibly unpredictable, though behind all of that is a brilliant schemer who’s willing to do anything to get his hands on a little more power. Empathy and loyalty are not in his vocabulary; if he wants something, he’ll get it, regardless of who might get hurt in the process. In short, Serin is a borderline psychopath who’s only ever out for himself.
Skills: Keen survival skills from living in Oblitus for so long. Also has an uncanny sense of direction for being blind.

Bio/History:

Serin was born a short time before the Shadow Spasm outbreak in the Unseelie kingdom. While he was still just a toddler, Serin’s mother died from the disease, and his father took him and left the kingdom a few weeks later. The pair moved to Oblitus and never looked back. Eventually, they settled in a secluded, mountain village. Know to be a violent man, and driven mad by his grief for his wife, Serin's father came to be feared by everyone in the village, but no one feared him more than his own son. Several years later, when Serin was still a young child, word passed through the village that there was a seer who had made a home at the top of the mountain. Within a few years, the once quiet little village now had foreigners crawling all over it as people traveled from all over to visit the seer. It didn't take a genius to figure out that whoever could see the future had a practically unlimited amount of power, wealth, and prestige at their disposal, and so Serin's father saw this as a glorious opportunity. However, he also wasn't foolish enough to think that he could control the current seer. So Serin's father journeyed to the top of the mountain with his young son to ask the seer how one was granted this power. The seer, already knowing his intentions, told the man that to become a seer, he would have to be pure in heart, and to be capable of removing all distractions from his mind. So the father realized that he could never become a seer, but, being the twisted man that he was, reasoned that no one could be more pure of heart than a child. The father looked at Serin. That only left one condition to fulfill... If one could not see, how could he become distracted by the troubles of the world? So the father took Serin outside, made a fire, and burned out the boy's eyes. He returned to the seer, who was horrified at what he had done, and demanded that she bestow this power upon his son. The seer threw him out, but kept the screaming, terrified boy with her. Over time she healed Serin, and he lived with her from then on. As the years went by, and she became older and older, she realized she would need a successor. So the seer passed on the source of her power to Serin, believing that, over time, she would teach him, and he would learn to control it. Unfortunately, things didn't work out that way. When Serin was a young teenager, he used his power to predict the opportune time to murder his father. The deed was done, proving that his heart was not as pure as the original seer had thought. However, there would have been no way she would be able to take the relic back from the boy; he wouldn’t part with it. So in order to prevent Serin from becoming too powerful and using his powers for more destruction, she refused to give him any more training, and she sent him away from the mountain.
As time went on and Serin became an adult, he began to travel all throughout Terrestria with his new fortune telling business. 108 years ago, a certain Djinn wandered into his tent to have her fortune told. Serin made a contract with Celeste, saying that if she granted him one of her powers, he would predict her future. The contract went through, and Serin was given the power to influence people’s emotions. Currently, he is still traveling about Terrestria, telling people their futures as he pleases, and making a sizable profit, I might add.
Other: Due to his unpredictability, it is very difficult to track down his whereabouts. More often than not, people come across him by chance, and the odds of coming across him twice are very low. However, since he has been to both Abaddon and New Eden, he has made something of a name for himself in both cities, as well as Oblitus.
