Arakiel whitely sipped on her coffee the rest of the journey to the sanctum; she had been drinking it since she was a child. Perhaps it was a due to their draconic heritage for them to initiate their children into the custom early on. Arakiel never truly gave it much thought. It was simply something she enjoyed and couldn’t imagine living without. Three cups a day, morning, noon, and night. Sometimes more when she was particularly busy, and these days, because of the ferals, she was. No one wanted to see the demonness withdraw from the caffeinated liquid. That beast should be kept tame at all times, else she become a danger to anyone around.

“Are you alright, dear?” She asked Shula after the spill, calmly pulling napkins from the pastry bag to absorb the liquid as the girl struggled with the newspaper. In the elevator, she pulled a long pen from her computer bag.

“Things like this happen sometimes,” she spoke with a soothing voice as she passed the pen over the stain, which disappeared. “That wasn’t so bad now, was it?” Her warm and gentle smile could end wars. “Thank goodness for technology, hm?”

Shula reminded her so much of her children, whom she hadn’t seen in 1600 years. She often wondered how they were. Although it was true half demons were long lived, it came nowhere close to the pure blooded. Being that she misses out on watching them grow up, Arakiel’s maternal instinct kicked in anytime Shula came around, and she suddenly became determined to see the girl succeed. The girl would be protected at any and all cost, although it was meant to be the other way around. Before the elevator opened, Arakiel lifted the girl’s chin up.

“Chin up,” she reminded the girl, “and fear not.” She might be surrounded by giants, but she, too, had the same potential as them all.

Nevertheless they were about to walk into a room full of the most powerful among their kind, not all of whom were friendly to the Black Ross Clan. Arakiel has perfected the art of keeping her cool, but her eyes could change into more than daggers if it came down to it.

“Ruri,” Smiling blue eyes greeted Ruri Riker, Ravinca’s Second In Command, and only other draconic demon among them, like herself. “It has been some time. It is good to see you well.” As they exited the elevator, she offered him a cup. “Coffee? Still hot.” Arakiel greeted the others with a nod as they fully entered.

After questioning Ruri about whether he had been aware of the other leaders of their seconds had arrived at the meeting room yet or not; getting the answer about him not believing they had arrived only had Avaddon raise a brow before his attention was directed over towards the entrance to the lobby. He could only assume that they were either still on their way or they were getting ready to leave, either way as long as they arrived it mattered not to him in the end. "Well..I guess I'll see you up there then."

Just as he had stated that one comment, the sensation of a presence beside him only had Avaddon turn his attention over to his side to find Shula was there and Ruri questioning her about what she had been doing here as well as her well being. "She will be joining us. I will be informing the guards about her entering.." With that, the sound of the elevator finally reaching the lobby and the double doors opening to the group there had Avaddon wave off Ruri before entering the elevator with Shula and Arakiel there as well.

Keeping silent the entire ride up the spire while Arakiel had been taking care of a stain that was on Shula's outfit, the white haired demon took in a deep breath just to exhale a sigh before the doors opened and a long white hall was revealed to the trio. At the end of the hall was a large black double door that had two guards; one female and the other male. The male wore a completely black suit while the female wore completely white, the male's eyes were completely white while the female's were pitch black.
These guards were hand picked directly from the Founders themselves and have been stationed here since the construction of the Sanctum, yet their appearance showed no sign of old age as they appeared to be in their mid forties.

Arching a brow as Avaddon had left the elevator along with the two females beside him, it seemed as though the two guards were preoccupied with three other figures at the end of the hall already. "So...there were others already here after-all." Whispering under his breath, he made his way down the hall till the three figures finally came into full detailed view only to find it to be none other than Yew; a trusted guard of Glumisun, Airen; Serpent's Kiss' second in command, and Fuctner; Bloody Moon's second in command. Raising a brow as to how Glumisun was not present with her second in command along with her trusted guard as well as how Kasdeya was not with her second in command either, Avaddon approached the trio from behind.

"Greetings there all of you...Might I ask where Glumisun and Kasdeya are?" Questioning about the other two leaders since their second in commands were currently present, his gaze shifted between the three figures while the guards continued to wait for the reveal of the clan marks.

“Are you alright dear?” Shula looked towards Arakiel and nodded. She was great, fan-freaking-tastic. Doing her job and smelling like coffee, like any grown up demon would. “Things like this happen sometimes,” Arakiel smiled before she passed some type of pen over the stain on Shula’s cloak. The stain quickly disappeared. “That wasn’t so bad now, was it? Thank goodness for technology, hm?”

“Thank you,” Shula gaped at the disappeared stain. During training, she had access to things such as cellphones, the internet (which was a God send!), and TV, but access to those were earned (or she snuck into the library to use the computers). Some of the enhancements that demons made still wowed her, especially small ones like that.

Shula stopped gaping at her cloak and pulled it closer to herself, hearing the papers crinkle a bit. She was really out of her league here. She was a rookie guard who was amazed at a simple stain remover. But she was out of her league during training too. All she had to do here was stay quiet and watch Avaddon and Arakiel. There was a soft tap on Shula’s chin making her snap her head up.

“Chin up, and fear not.” Arakiel said softly. Shula nodded once again. Arakiel was very compassionate to Shula, and sometimes Shula didn’t know what to do with that. Avaddon was always quiet with her but never showed her extra kindness. Arakiel, did. Arakiel did things like get her coffee or pastries or say comforting words. It was, nice and reminded Shula of Hikmah, but it was also weird. Shula was their guard. No one was supposed to be nice to her.

The elevator opened and Shula focused on following Avaddon’s wide steps. Thankfully she had long legs even though she was shorter than Arakiel. Avaddon stopped.

"So...there were others already here after-all." Shula heard him whisper. She peeked out from behind him to see three very beautiful Sirenian demons. Two had the famous snow white hair of the O’Betchel’s family and the other looked like she was one of those woman on the older human movies on TV. Maybe she could’ve been one. Shula’s fire sparked with excitement. Though, there was no cherry red hair. If Shula remembered correctly, the Serpent’s Kiss Clan’s leader was a siren with red hair. Maybe she was late? The sirens she knew during training said being late was very fashionable. Though these three were standing in front of the guards, on time and appeared very fashionable.

“Greetings there all of you...Might I ask where Glumisun and Kasdeya are?" Avaddon approached the three sirens and Shula stayed behind him, at a distance. Now with a closer look, Shula could identify them.

The tall male was Yew O’Betchel, a powerful summoner siren and guard for the Serpent’s Kiss leader Glumisun. Shula wondered if he had any of his fabled creatures. And did he truly kill a whole temple of demons (one of the sirens at her training said he did). Then there was the smaller but elder sister, Airen O’Betchel, Second-In-Command of the Serpent’s Kiss Clan. She looked every bit like the siren that smiled as she cleaned out casinos every night. Shula wondered if she did it with magic or was it a passive ability or was that cheating (Shula never had time to go to a casino). The last person was Fuctner Von Dyle, the Second-In-Command of the Bloody Moon Clan. She was beautiful! And Shula noticed the fabled weapon on her thigh, Melvin. Was it truly sentient? Was it like that from soul forgery or another magic?

Shula’s inner fire danced with questions, and she could feel her eyes glow, but she clenched her fists and kept quiet. Because that was her job and she could do it. Plus, they seemed preoccupied with the guards and now Avaddon. She shouldn’t be bothering anyone with her questions. Again, all she had to do was keep an eye on Avaddon (and his surroundings) and keep her mouth SHUT.

Her hands were beginning to get sore from her tight clenching.

Airen had kept quiet the whole way.
How would she do it? What strategy could she use? Arguments are most likely to the point where rummy began. Cards, a load of cards and each had to go away without helping the other one. Yet sometimes she had to wait, wait for the others to reveal their cards as they threw them in the middle.
What would she play first? The King, Queen and Jack? Or rather King, Ass and the two? Perhaps she would begin with three tens?

The Demoness sunk into her mind, that only her body was still moving in her surroundings. She had not noted the arrival, nor the guards before them.

No, perhaps she could lay out the three tens first? It would make a beginning. Bht like in the game, she could not dock any other card, couldn’t use this move.
And what if anyone laid out another card? A card useful for her? Then she wouldn’t need the tens anymore and could do another block.

She blinked. Perhaps , that could do it. The tens were her main idea, not the real discussion of anything, just a stating. The other cards were the ideas of the others, perhaps something she could use against them.

Airen stretched her arms. Fine, she would do it that way.
Cocking her head, she tried to confirm where she landed at. Apparently, Yew argumented with the guards, while Fuctner stood aside of him. Her brow rose and at the very moment she tried to speak, someone else interrupted her.

“Greetings there all of you...Might I ask where Glumisun and Kasdeya are?"

Her blood froze for a second, as well as her bones. Avaddon De’Angulis.
With a soft click of her tongue, the elder sister whirled to him. And apparently, he was not alone, either. Jerking her brow at him, the Second cleared her throat.

“You fool, can’t you see? Do your little eyes need Glasses? They are not with us, fungus,” she hissed and hoped he knew what time it was for Glumisun. Or else she would explain it, until the very tiny details.

Her eyes flicked to another face. It was new, pretty much new. As if a switch was being pulled, her facials softened with a smile. Though, the new face had indeed sore hands from probably clenching it. Anger? Agony? What was it that made her doing that?

“And who are you, if I might ask?” Airen had never really cared about rankings and positions. And Airen was not a fool. Either Avaddon had a sister, a niece or a daughter, or she was simply a guard.

“That is not healthy for your hands, dear,” she chuckled and nodded at her hands,
“If you want to punch anyone, then choose my brother.”

Dark heels clicked along the marble floor as the group made their way into the building. Dyle gave small waves, and winks towards, any who turned their gaze towards her. She dared not speak, in fear that her husky voice would cut whatever spell she had on them, and cancel any free dinners she could get from the poor souls.

Riding up the elevator, she examined herself in the refkextive surface of the door. "Damn. I'm looking good," she said as she admired her body, and attire. Dark colors always went well with her pale skin, and ink black hair, but stark white colors made good contrasts. She kept it simple with a white blouse, and a crimson neck tie that matched her lip stick, and tall heels. Her dress pants were black, and accented with a white holster that held Melvin, the revolver sleeping in its pocket. She just might catch herself a quick fuck after the meeting. Such a look should not go to waste.

Exiting the elevator, she was greeted with the usual security. Two guards, nothing special. She allowed Yew to go first, and she would follow second to show her evidence of appearance. She didn't get a chance though, as the younger, less experienced guard was quick to deny their entry. She had a fair share of words to hand him. She was not going to miss this meeting because of some limp-dick G-I Joe wanna-be. Glumisun, leader of Serpent Kiss beat her to it, putting the man in his place.

She chuckled as his mind was quickly changed, and all they needed to do was show their brands. Oh my.
She felt Melvin humming at her thigh. She gave him a light scratching across his handle as she stepped up to the guard. Her hands moved to her crotch as she unzipped her pants. He freed Melvin from his holster, and held him between her open thighs, giving him a slight hint of what he'd see if she were to show too much. "Try not to look too deep into it dear," she said as she lowered the hem of her pants, and lace under wear. "You just might be disappointed." A flash of a red crescent etched below her pierced belly button was enough, and Melvin was returned to hus holder, and her pants were zipped back up.

It wasn't long before they were joined by the others.
“Greetings there all of you...Might I ask where Glumisun and Kasdeya are?"
Dyle curled her lip in a sneer. "I can leave if you want," she replied. "If you need an opinion for Bloody Moon, you need not look far. My mom's pretty damn hot." She turned her gaze to Shula. She gave her a small smile, before cutting through the small strain of kindness like butter. "Ready to get butt-fucked kid? I don't do the small ones, but I'm a sucker for pointed ears." She then turned to Arakiel. "And hello to you fellow mother," she said with a small bow. "Sorry I don't have any baby photos to show you, since I swallow all of my kids."
Greetings over. Meeting time now.

While waiting on the banshee to show them her mark, the sound of someone he wished to not meet at this time echoed through the halls. Great, Frozen Dick is here.

“Greetings there all of you...Might I ask where Glumisun and Kasdeya are?"

"Really, sir De'Angulis," the male O'Betchel muttered, turning to the approaching leader. "I am flattered that you still ask of our leader's whereabouts when she rarely even comes here." He then smiled; the type of smile where one really wants to punch his face. "As per her location, you will find her on the second floor of the leader's residence. The biggest door there. If you wish to enter, I suggest you help her with her problem." He was going to kill Prince charming over here if he actually does that, leader or not.

At the mention of the missing leaders, Strawberry decided to once again crawl out to peak on who was talking. its beady eyes blinked at the people.

“That is not healthy for your hands, dear. If you want to punch anyone, then choose my brother.”

At the mention of that, he turned to leader's companions. A small grin replaced his smile once his golden orbs landed on the new face behind Avaddon. "Oh? Miss Commando over there not enough for you? So you get another set of holes?" he asked playfully. "I commend you, sir." He bowed to Avaddon mockingly at that.

Turning his focus on the black-red haired demoness, he gave the friendliest of smiles before bowing gracefully, dislodging Strawberry from where she hid.
"Greetings, dear. It looks like I will not be the only lower-ranked officer for this meeting."

“That is not healthy for your hands, dear. If you want to punch anyone, then choose my brother.”

“He’s too pretty to hit.” Shula replied quickly to Airen. Her fire sparked and crackled as her words ran through her head. “Miss, Ma’am, madame?” Why couldn’t she remember how sirens liked to be addressed? She did remember that all sirens worked hard to look amazing. And these ones certainly put the few (two, there were only two at her training center) to shame. “All of you are very pretty and I couldn’t hit any of you,” Shula gestured to all the sirens. “I mean I could but sirens prefer other things right? Like cards or brandy or umm,”

"Ready to get butt-fucked kid? I don't do the small ones, but I'm a sucker for pointed ears."

“That.” Shula swallowed and looked to the Bloody Moon Second-in-Command. “Though I’m afraid I would disappoint you more than you could satisfy me.” Shula admitted to (Miss, Madame, Madamiss?) Fuctner, her face heating up. She had a feeling the ears Madamiss Fuctner mentioned were as red as the tips of her hair. Though... “Do ears really make a difference in sex?”

"Oh? Miss Commando over there not enough for your to get another set of holes?" The comment directed to Avaddon caught Shula’s ears. "I commend you, sir." Yew was bowing mockingly to Avaddon. Then he looked to her. “Greetings, dear. It looks like I will not be the only lower-ranked officer for this meeting."

“No, sir.” Shula said through gritted teeth. Why did he not show respect to Avaddon? She could snap at him but then that would look bad on Avaddon and Yew was still above her. So she bowed her head to him instead. Then she really thought about all their responses. Did they all hate Avaddon? He was irritating, but he was in a position of authority and had to be respected, just like them. She brought her head up again, her face losing some of the redness as her flame flared with questions.

“And do all of you not respect Ava-my honored leader?” Shula stuttered a bit before continuing. “Is it because of the early meeting? Or is it because of the prejudices against sirens that plagues Black Rose? I saw it during training but I assure that Avaddon sees your value.” At least Shula is sure he did. He didn’t question a weak guard or the fact that she was a fire demon. Why would he question powerful sirens? Yes, they were cunning and self serving, making them hard to trust, but no one should be trusted. Not even her! But if a siren became a sure ally, that would be a powerful ally.

“Sirens are ruthless fighters and amazing information gathers. And deserve the same respect as others, or the amount that they give.” She said a bit pointedly. “At least, I think so, madames and monseiur.” Shula gave a quick bow because they were still above her station, even Yew. As she bowed a question that haunted her through training came to mind.

“Is it true that when a siren has sex with someone that they can make that person their slave or see their past? Or that,” Shula stepped forward, almost beside Avaddon, when she should always be behind him. Because she was a guard who needed to keep her eyes on him and her mouth shut. So she clamped her mouth shut and she felt her fire flare as the redness on her face from before surely came back.

“I apologize, sir.” Shula muttered quietly before bowing lowly to Avaddon and stepping back. This was why she almost failed her social etiquette course. She never stopped talking and asking questions. What did her teacher say? Great for interrogation, horrible for living.

The pink lettuce was quick to react from the bow. It hissed at being removed from its bed before circling and somehow thought that the horns of Avaddon was the perfect nest. It settled on the Black Rose's leader's head without a nod from Avaddon and started pushing forth hair to make a nest. Yew raised a brow as Strawberry nibbled on the black horn like a giant rat suckling on bone. Will Glumisun be angry to the Frozen Dick if it was reported that Strawberry was killed by none other than Avaddon himself?

“And do all of you not respect Ava-my honored leader? Is it because of the early meeting? Or is it because of the prejudices against sirens that plagues Black Rose? I saw it during training but I assure that Avaddon sees your value.”

"Well, he is asking a stupid question. Might as well answer it with the same kind."

Yew had to cover his amused grin with his sleeves. How was he to respect this man when he could not be bothered to show it to~! He shook his head, the thought evaporating like smoke. Their kind, their species, along with most of the residents in Serpent's Kiss really did not care of status. Everyone was the same regardless of blood and birth place. For as long as one contributes to the betterment of the clan. As the speech wore on, he could not help but give off a chuckle, his shoulders shaking from trying to hold it in.

"Your lover, sir De'Angulis? You have yet to train her it seems," Yew could not help but comment on it. If the meeting was going to be delayed by the guard, might as well have fun in lecturing and teasing.

He stepped forward when the female got hold of her tongue and gave a soft apology to the leader beside her. “Let me correct you on that, Madame De’Angulis,” he stated, lower half of his face still hidden behind his flowing sleeves. “Sirens and sirenical demons, are not of the same species, differentiated by their original forms. Sirens usually take up animal appearances,” he started, moving around both Roses in a lecturing manner. He pointed at Fuctner then. “Madame Fucker over there is a siren. Or mermaid if you ask the humans. They tend to use their…” he paused, eyes sparkling with mirth then. “…voice and face to attract as much attention as they could get. They are basically over glorified fish.”

“That,”
he pointed at his own sister then. “Is an imp. I do believe she was adopted to the family and was given many transformation and plastic surgery to become what she is today. Do not trust her when she says she is a siren

“Sirenical demons, on the other hand, have forms that are better off buried in the abyss that to surface to the light of day. They have this distinct… aura? Smell? That differs them from us. They have more common characteristics with the succubae and incubi than that of us.”
He smiled then. "As per the sex part, I do think that is given to the succubae species.” He tapped his cheek then. “The past,” he mused, a certain leader flashing in his thoughts for a brief moment. “I have yet to research on that. Are they not an ability of the vampires?”

“Vampires have the ability to see the past of the being whose blood they have consumed!” Shula piped out. “Well, most beings.” She unclenched her hands and stretched her fingers as her fire cooled at the memory of her first run came to mind. It was a success, but it was also a very personal loss. She focused on the relief of her stretching fingers rather than the biting ache that came from that run. She had held her hands tightly and sealed her mouth as Sir Yew talked.

There was so much information (besides the insults to Ladies Fuctner and Airen) to question. Such as if the voice of a siren could affect the feral? Or did a feral succubi/siren still have the attractive pheromones when they became feral? Could they still be used? These questions could affect the investigation Avaddon was trying to start. Speaking of Avaddon.

“Thank you for the correction Sir Yew, but who were you talking to?” Shula tilted her head to the side. “There is no Madame De’Angulis and as far as I know, Sir De’Angulis, has no lover. Though I have only been his guard for 50 years,” Shula then looked to Avaddon. “Is that something we need to discuss later, sir?” Shula knew that it was a private matter and it honestly never came up before. Not even with his excursions to the cafe. Neither of their social life was a concern when they both held their jobs (well for him the beings of Haven) as highest priority.

“Apologies,” Arakeil‘s smile acted much like a shield, “I misjudged the case of your brother’s arrested development,” she retorted as Airen insulted both her and the leader.

Arakiel should remind Shula not to waste her breath on the clever tricksters. They keep you talking only to gather as much ammunition against you as they could. Perhaps Shula would have to learn this lesson on her own. As good of an educational opportunity as any.

“We are far too civilized to lift a hand against the disabled, but I will be sure to make a donation to a charity of your choosing. Shula,” she turned to the younger, “no beating, you might catch an infection.”

She stepped forward to greet Yew.

“How is it that your wit never ceases to underwhelm,” was all that was said to Dyle.

“Ah, yew. It is always a displeasure to see you. How is my favorite bitch?” And do you ever get tired of being one? She greeted yew by grasping her arm and with a kiss to the cheek. In this room, she bowed to no one but their leader.

Ms. Commando didn’t wait for an answer, winked at the draconian, and went in the meeting room to set up the presentation for the leader. They had much to cover in little time and she had prepared slides that would make the point of this meeting sink in faster than if they were to simply give a speech.

“What the heck was that?” Shula gaped softly as she watched Arakiel enter the room. Shula knew Arakiel was protective of Avaddon and was stern with those who refused to show the leader the proper respect. Arakiel could basically do Shula’s job, but she also had a compassionate heart, for most. It seemed that she held a lot of contempt, almost disgust, for the other leaders. “You learn something every day,” Shula muttered to herself as she blinked at Arakiel’s disappearing form. Then she remembered why most of them were in front of the guard and not in the room (well besides talking to/insulting Avaddon and each other).

Shula put down her cloak, making sure the papers were folded into it, quietly as to not to distract the others. In a blink, her long-sleeved tunic was off. Her brand was on the back of her shoulders. Her regular clothes had a hole or were strapless in the back to give access to her brand. But since she had to cover up from the rain, even her brand could not show. “Don’t need these either,” Shula muttered as she took off her gloves. Finally, she was left in her dark nude bra and her obsidian chain belt and pants.

Her narrow bare shoulders rolled back in comfort and she felt her fire exhale. Clothes felt so confining. And she remembered that when she was starting training the made her wear so much clothing because she couldn't control how much heat she gave off. Though because of that, she often ended burning herself up because the heat was just kept inside her clothes and her. So, she preferred not to wear so many clothes because even though she had better control, but she still put off some heat. Though, Hikmah told her that not wearing enough clothes was rude and distracting for some. She didn’t understand why. She was a fire demon. Fire was naked, so were water and air. No one was distracted by them. As she glanced down at her toned body, she figured that maybe her D Nude Bra was ugly enough to be distracting. She could take it off, but would that be rude since she didn't need to take it off?

Holding her discarded clothes in one arm, she used her other hand to pull her hair from the back of her shoulders to the front of her chest. It covered most of her bra. Then the ugly brown wouldn’t be so distracting. She smiled, glad that she was thinking ahead and Avaddon wouldn’t be waiting for her to show her brand. She would be happy if she could go the rest of the meeting topless. As long as it was not too distracting for the others.

And the the giant lizard starts talking. It was always so refreshing to listen to this woman. It was also so entertainin watching those flicks of smoke moving about, changing color.

Yew laugh, pressing his body towards her before she stepped away and moved towards the entrance of the meetig room. "I do wish you will never find someone like me, Miss Assakiel," he greeted before turning back to the Shula chick.

"Oh, yes, Madame Shula," he stated, finally correcting his namings. "It is better not to talk to us. It seems that all of you Roses are better than us," he laughed. Corner, let them deny or accept. He unconsciously rubbed the part where the lizard lady touched him.

His eyes twinkled as he watched both ladies enter the meeting room. This was going to be a shit show and Avaddon was going to be blames for it. For as long as they (Dyle, Airen, and himself) do not go below the belt, nor will they actually start using their abilities, it was going to be all on the Roses if said proverbial excrement hits the fan.

With those two out of the way, he turned to Avaddon. "Glumisun is indisposed of right now," he answered seriously, eyes closed. "Is sir Vokrec coming?"

She decided to only listen, spare her morning-energy and whatever gave her the actual motivation to show up. That was until some bastard of brother gestured at her.
“That is an imp. I do believe she was adopted to the family and was given many transformation and plastic surgery to become what she is today. Do not trust her when she says she is a siren.”

Airen sucked on her tooth, before her bare palm clashed the shoulder of her brother. She intended for the head, but oh well, her size stood in the way of reaching that high. “Quit telling everyone I am the adopted one,” she said as he finished his explanation. A low shimmer coated her frame, a sign of transforming herself to her Demonform, though she never changed her skin. Just… a tiny showoff for her bastard of brother.

“Poopie, I was literally there when you popped in my world. Guess who changed your clothes all the time? Me, and you were in particular the worst of our siblings.”
Hell he was. Sometimes he made her regret caring for her family.
Though, everyone could clearly see, if their eyes would have fulfilled their function, that they had the same traits… except for the form of their hair and damned height. Their parents could have given her a few of their good genes instead giving them all to her younger siblings.

Airen curled her lips in a professional smile of a Casino-Lady as she turned to little Shula, “Do not worry, Sweetie. Your eyes haven’t failed you. I am a Siren.”

Her ears gave the occasional flicker as Arakiel began to address her and her tiny group. Disrespectful towards Avaddon… Well, indeed. But hadn’t they all known that the O’Bechtel Siblings loved to play around?

“Ah, Yew. It is always a displeasure to see you. How is my favorite bitch?”

Airen felt her hand clenched behind her back. And she was certainly convinced that of how hard she gritted her teeth, they would break any moment.
No one talked like that to her kin. Absolutely no one… (except for herself and perhaps Dyle and Glumisun from time to time).

And as she—

The Siren swallowed a growl as she calmly said, “Do not insult Yew. Remember, he is still my brother and I highly doubt that you had permission to penetrate into his personal space.”
But Airen had not gotten any answers. Only a faint wink to the Draconian and the vanishing of Arakiel’s figure into the meeting room.

The eldest O’Bechtel smoothed her dress. It somehow had a relaxing affect. As well as she felt her magic touching her Spellcards underneath these clothes. Soon, as soon as this was over she needed to play, drink and turn off the reality.
She heard her brother, observed as one after one vanished to the room. She would enter as last one, probably.

"Glumisun is indisposed of right now.” So, he actually decided to answer in honesty. Airen wondered, how often were the smokes surrounding them supposed to change in the following meeting?
“Is sir Vokrec coming?"

Her head snapped up. Right, there were more. They weren’t the latest to arrive, then. Though, she hadn’t doubted the fact that Ravinca’s Leader would be late… as usual.
She shoved the sigh back to where it came from.

“Why don’t we go in and wait there? My, my, I am getting quite tired of this standing here,” she chimed amused. It was good enough to shut the adrenaline out, good enough to mute her acrimony and remind her on her developed plans.

Ah, she missed stroking Mango’s head at those very moments… or to simply be as free as ever and just vanish into the next best Casino.

Ruri entered the meeting room and was given a coffee by Arkiel. "Thank you. I owe you." He smiled at her, making a mental note to pay her back. Then the leaders and seconds began bickering, throwing insults at each other. Ruri skirted them and stood behind the Ravinca leader's chair, sipping his coffee idly. He didn't know why they bothered with this kind of crap. It was useless and it certainly wouldn't help anyone. They were here to solve a problem that Avaddon felt the need to bring up, not tell each other how much they hated each other.
He felt a surge of worry for Glumisun, she often exhorted herself to help the people. She was glad she was staying home when she was not feeling well, but he would much rather have her here than Yew, she was more reasonable- there was a reason she was leader.

Her lip twitched as she realized she was doing the exact opposite of what she, and her father discussed. She was supoosed to be acting professional. She was supposed to be the face of Bloody Moon while her leader delt with issues abroad.

Well she was already in a hole! It wouldn't hurt to pludged the shovel into wet sand!

"I will yell Sea Shanties up your fucking asshole woman," she snapped back. "We'll see how underwhelming it is when you burst likka water balloon."
If that wasn't enough, she called Yew a bitch! Though, what stirred from that was a rare moment of "love" from Airen to Yew... She needed a smoke..
She pulled a pack from her pocket as she began walking into the meeting room. "C'mon," she said, patting the short woman's shoulder. She walked into the room, and took her seat at her leader's chair.

“That’s demoness to you,” she spoke to herself, long since our of earshot of the sailor mouthed one.

Arakiel smiled at the irony of the situation at hand. They ignored her presence although she outranked them, called her a fuckhole, and insulted her with nicknames whilst she stood before them, and somehow expected her not to play along?

Did they truly think she was above them? If she were, she would have merely walked into the meeting room without so much as a whisper. Perhaps they had subconsciously blocked her from taking part, and were fuming at the fact that she had. And how easy it had been to break them once she decided to fight fire with fire. She had to admit, the eye and the lip twitching was satisfying.

They did not deserve her friendship, let alone her loyalty or protection. Unhinged. Undisciplined. Disrespectful and completely out of line. Unable to take jokes at their own expense, whilst expecting others to. Unable to put their differences aside to come together for a civil discussion. These were the champions fighting at the front lines for the sake of their people.

Perhaps that was why Dr. Beelze requested her to be the one to capture and detain ferals for his experimentations. Not only were her entanglement abilities useful for it, he was also aware that if it were up to the others, they would simply get carried away with excitement and destroy the ferals upon sight.

There would then be no hope for identifying the source, or so much as finding a cure... and they were getting so close! Most correspondence between the clan leader and Dr. Beelze was classified and was only shared during urgent meetings such as these. Not even Arakiel always knew what was being revealed to the leader.

Arakiel smiled as the group entered the meeting room just as she finished. The projector having been turned on to the first page, she left it at that and went to sit next to the leader’s chair. She dipped a piece of cinnamon bun in the coffee and took a bite.

After questioning the trio before him about their own leaders whereabouts, the first to reply was none other than Glumisun's own second in command as she abruptly came out of nowhere and called Avaddon a fool as well as commenting on his sight about the two leaders not being present at all currently. The next to speak was Fuctner as she spoke of leaving if Avaddon wished for it only to have him shake his head in response. If for some reason the Serpent's Kiss' and Bloody Moon's leaders were unable to be present for the meeting than at the very least, their second in commands were a close enough of a replacement for the time being; same went with that of the Ravinca leader as well.

The final to speak up was none other than Yew; Glumisun's own personal guard and with how he stated her location specifically, it just popped into Avaddon's head about what time of the month it was before the demon simply nodded his head; so she was not going to be making an appearance after-all. As Yew only continued further by attempting to push Avaddon's buttons on the subject of 'Ms Commando' and having 'another set of holes', the white haired demon only shook his head to ignore the comments before taking a step forward to prepare to head pass the guards and straight into the meeting room.

From there, Shula was rather quick to pick up the conversation and speak with the trio quite a bit even though she kept stopping herself to step back and silence herself beside Avaddon in the end. The sight of this only had the male arch a brow at her reaction before she had turned to him directly and questioned him about the 'Madame De'Angulis' that was brought up by Yew as well. Chuckling, he patted Shula upon her shoulder before shaking his head. "There is no Madame De'Angulis, Shula...Yew and these three tend to be like this. This is nothing new, also do not feel as though you must remain quiet. You are free to speak your mind. Even if you are a personal guard, your opinion as all others is important to me."

With that, Arakeil from there spoke up with Shula on how they should be towards those before him as Avaddon only raised a brow at her comment before she entered the meeting room after Ruri had slipped pass the conversing in the hall to head also into the same room.
With everything going on, when the strange creature that made it's way on top of Avaddon's head had made itself a nest out of his hair and with the help of his horns; the white haired demon only chuckled just to begin stepping around those in the hall to approach the two guards who looked at one another before constantly shifting their gaze upon everyone that was still present in the hall the entire time.

Approaching the two guards, he pulled the collar of his shirt slightly passed his right shoulder to reveal the clan symbol of that of the Black Rose clan before the two guards bowed their heads in respect to allow Avaddon to enter.

After entering the large room, Ruri seemed to had already made himself comfortable beside his leader's seat along with Arakeil after setting up the projection screen that already had a slide set in that was being viewed on the opposite wall from the large black circular table that held the four throne-like seats. Fuctner was seated actually in her leader's seat comfortably causing the Bloody Moon's symbol to give off a crimson glow above the seat.
Avaddon shifted his attention amongst those in the room before he made his way over towards his own chair and taking his seat to cause the Black Rose's symbol to give off the violet glow above his own seat.

Placing his elbows upon the table, he intertwined his fingers only to end up resting his chin upon his hands and shutting his eyes while he waited for the rest of the room's occupants to enter before he would decide to begin the actual meeting.

She slowly stirred. The ache had disappeared from her wound, a sign that it was fully healed. Her eyes suddenly snapped open as she caught a scent that brought the events of yesterday back to her. She was quick to glare at the mutt that lay across from her. A growl began in her chest.
"What are you still doing here?" She got up and began to make sure the little supplies that she had were packed. She looked outside the cave to see that she had slept much longer than she had wanted. Her jaw clenched. She had slept much longer than she had intended. This meant she was getting weaker. Her staying in her human form was taking a toll on her body. Her fist clenched. That didn't matter she would stay in this form even if it broke her. Her fist clenched with determination at this thought. She had stayed way too long. They could be on too her if she didn't move now. She the exited the cave throwing the vines closed behind her trying to make a statement to the mutt behind her.

She lay on her stomach, her head resting on her paws which were crossed. Her tail lightly tapped the ground in a soft motion while she examined the demon in front of her. She could tell she was still asleep, but the tenseness in her muscles indicated that she was still on guard despite the lack of consciousness. Sissy found this rather fascinating; she rarely slept but when she did, she could tell that that level of awareness took a lot of practice and some type of devastating series of events. The female lay with her hair covering her face so the mutt couldn't read her facial expressions to wonder what was running through the other's head. Her arms were crossed in a position that could easily grab some sort of weapon if the situation arised. The girl was smart leaving her defense up at all times.

Her eyes narrowed as the sudden realization that the heavy smell of blood faded to only what soaked her clothes. She wasn't sure if she was disappointed or curious, but she didn't have time to make up her mind as the female stirred. Sissy tilted her head as the demon suddenly jolted and shot a harsh glare in her direction. The persistent smile returned to the dog's face. "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know you owned this space." Her tone was a mix of amusement and playful sarcasm. "You slept for quite a while. I imagine you're feeling refreshed?" She didn't necessarily expect the other to answer.

She mimicked the motion of her as she rose to her feet and made for the cave's exit. Sissy, of course, happily tagged along. She gave a light chuckle at the other's actions, and bent her body in unnatural ways to squeeze through openings in the vines. "You still should change clothes. Or, at the very least, wash yours."

The white-haired demon watched as each of the participants got in. Yew was still itching for a fight but that was going to have to wait. There were more pressing matters to attend to. Once the leader was inside, Yew moved to stand before the guards and opened his mouth. His fangs protruded out of his lips as he stuck his tongue out to show them his mark. Once the guards nodded, he walked to the meeting room and stood behind the designated chair of Serpent's Kiss.

Like thought in the temples, he closed his eyes and relaxed, detaching his own emotions from his logical reasoning. For as long as he could find his calm, he could act out professionally. Spirits, give him the patience not to play around with the Roses and his sister. 'This is not the time for that. Your are here in behalf of your leader. Think and act like her.'

He gave a bow of acknowledgement to Ruri, Ravinca's second-in-command, upon him giving a sigh and locking eyes with the blue dragon. Yew did not know much of the second since his focus was always on Avaddon and Vokrec and trying to spite them or find something to irritate them. Ruri, in Yew's opinion was silent and observant. The lizard knows when to speak unlike the rest of them. Hmm... how was he going~! Yew shakes his head.
'Calm, Yew. You need to find that neutral zone again.'
