Please note that while our GM's try to be fair and patient, we do reserve the right to turn away an application that we cannot foresee working in the story. We will almost certainly ask you to edit it before this occurs, but it is a possibility. Additionally, a GM can call back an application that another GM had previously accepted for additional review.

Stats:
Stats are another aspect of the video-game nature of the RP. Right now, assume they are purely for roleplaying and cosmetic purposes, although this might change.

You have 20 total points to spend for all 5 categories. Each skill is ranked out of 10, 10 being incredible, 0 being nonexistent, and 5 being boringly average.
  • Brains: This is your knowledge of things, memory retention, and perception.
  • Brawn: This is how much you can lift, how hard you hit, and how much you can take.
  • Guts: This is your ability to go out on a limb and succeed. The higher you are, the more of a daredevil you can be.
  • Heart: This is your kindness, compassion, and wisdom, basically if you're a "people" person.
  • Tricks: This is your resourcefulness, mechanical/magical ability, and improvisational skills.

Emi Takamitsu

Age: 21

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Asexual

Appearance: Emi stands at a rather small height of 5'3". She has messy, dyed purple hair (originally blonde) that barely reaches her shoulder. Despite this, she sometimes pulls it up to a ponytail when she feels like it. Her eyes are originally an azure blue but has been seen wearing purple contacts when dealing with the more dangerous things out there - so basically, she wears it almost everyday. Whenever she ties her hair or put her hood up, people mistake her for a guy so it can be concluded that she's androgynous, though she was unaware of this until recently when she got her hair cut. Despite what she looks like, she is quite lean and athletic and her legs have toned muscles. This is hidden by her choice of clothing - a jacket, plain undershirt and cargo pants. Though it would seem that she is fine with wearing dresses, skirts and blouses if they weren't too impractical for her.

Personality: Despite appearances, Emi's actually quite a cheerful and friendly person. Her upbeat demeanor often draws people close to her and ease them into a conversation. She's the kind of person who can talk to a stranger as if she has known them for years - though this does have some boundaries as other people aren't quite as friendly. Emi usually has a positive and lovely aura around her - and she's someone who tackles her problems head on without fear of failure. She is the type to live in the moment and to worry about the consequences later. This sometimes leads to other problems but there are usually people to guide her so that she won't land in a world full of troubles, even if she does sometimes refuse their help. However, the fact that she is still a good speaker remains as thinking critically on the spot is something of a skill she has developed. Emi is a free spirit who cannot be bound to only one place - she has the desire to travel all around the world.

She lets out the aura that she is pure and innocent - a woman not yet tainted by the darkness of the world. This couldn't be any more false. Her entire life can be said to revolve around things that aren't exactly acceptable by the law. Though not exactly manipulative, she is rather knowledgeable in a lot of fields and keeps a lot of connections close to her. Because of her friendly personality, she finds it easy to create connections with other people and thus widening her information web. She is most proud of her lies and how easily she can get through things by lying. She shows little to no indication of lying. In fact, the only way you'd know she was lying is if she taps her finger on any surface just once. When you don't know her, it becomes hard to ever pinpoint whether she is telling the truth or not.

Path: Path of the Rose

Weapon: Charm Rose

It takes the form of a single rose head that usually appears pinned on her jacket. What it essentially does is that it helps the user with convincing the other party to listen to her. It's more of a Treasure that helps with persuading others to doing what she wants them to do. Though it doesn't help with her offensive capabilities, it does help her in fights to. Charming enemies into confusion or even helping is possible. It may also even reach animals who are not capable of human speech.

Realm: Taria

Biography: She and her twin brother were abandoned by their parents when they were young and were forced to live it out alone on the streets. They lived with the common rabble on the streets, refusing to go with the authorities out of fear that they would get separated. As they grew older, they grew wiser - but that didn't mean they were changing for the better. They became thieves so they could survive on the streets. Only a few years later, they picked the wrong target and her brother suffered the consequences and was killed. Before Emi could get killed, however, someone saved him. His name was Arken. Arken was a teenage boy who had mounds of cash at his fingertips - and it continuously poured in without his parents as he worked as a famous writer. As Emi grew used to this kind of life, that was when she started building connections and soon enough, she became an information broker. Despite her young age, she had information that one would have trouble trying to get out. Her connections ran deep into the inner workings of the city - from Black Market Sellers to Government Workers, she knew them and she could pull some strings. She earned a lot of money this way, even though it was illegal. When Earth imploded and she was whisked away - she was, of course, confused. She found herself in Taria and she can't wait to get started in creating her much needed connections.

Name: Heidi Malone - usually just goes by Di or Malone.

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Appearance: Though she wishes she was taller, Heidi is 5'5". She is 140lbs, with most of her weight sitting in her stomach rather than her chest or thighs. She isn't athletic, but she does look strong enough to hold her own if she was attacked. She has dark brown, nearly black hair that sits under her shoulder blades, though she is more often seen with it in a braid. She has sharp, thin eyes that are a light blue colour. She has an icy skin tone, somewhere between pale and normal with a noticeable cold undertone like she has ice trapped under the very surface of her skin. She has freckles all over her face, arms and legs, as well as a mole under her right eye. Her favourite outfit is a pair of ripped jeans, a black tank top (usually with her bra straps on show), a red flannel tied around her waist and a black beanie. When it comes to jewellery, she likes to go all out. She has both of her ears pierced, usually with little silver hoops. Along with that, she has a helix piercing in her left ear, in another silver hoop. She has one more piercing in her ear, which is a silver industrial bar in her left ear again - along with this, there is a scar underneath this bar from a past fight. She usually wears at least one necklace, usually a thin silver chain with a small green gem on it. At this time in the RP, she has a black eye and multiple other bruises around her body.

Personality: Heidi is a fun-loving girl, but that doesn't mean she's all too bright in day-to-day circumstances. She usually acts quite aggressive to outsiders to the group she normally hangs about with, but loves a good joke with the people that she knows. She lives her life not caring what others think, a rebel without a cause. She gets by through taking jobs wherever she can, having never fared well in times where she needs to obey to an authority. She thrives in difference and distinctly hates and usually abandons most anything that she doesn't find immediately fulfilling or fun. To an outsider, she looks like your typical rebellious teenager, which she is really quite like.

When it comes to her deepness, there isn't much to say. What you see of her is what you get, and getting to know her will only really reveal that she is fond of the small and helpless. She is always eager to take someone under her wing and introduce them to her wild and crazy, but admittedly very irresponsible life, but if she finds that they're not up to scratch or if they're not willing to go the whole way, she won't hesitate to drop them from her side due to her impatient attitude. She doesn't think about things before she does them and is pretty dim. If she does think about something, the conclusion is usually just the same, since she's not too good at thinking things through.

Along with her aggressive attitude, Heidi is always eager to fight and prove herself. If someone attacks her pride, she won't hesitate to attack them, even if she doesn't think that it won't turn out in her favour. The only time she ever seems calm is when someone calls her by her full name, as she is usually too baffled to do much else than stare at them, since she doesn't usually tell people her name. As soon as the shock wears off, she becomes even angrier, as she doesn't trust anyone with personal information about her.

Path: The Path of the Crown

Weapon: Crown Cannons

Two golden crown gauntlets that circle around her wrists. They are a strictly offensive weapon set, and shoot magma balls when Heidi triggers them by pressing the button inside the gauntlet three times with her wrist. They can be unclipped from her arm, but she's a bit paranoid about them being stolen.

Realm: Ayla

Biography: Heidi was born to a single teenage mother. She lived a rather average life all through her young years, consisting mostly of playing football and playing outside, until she got into high school. She met new people, those people having not been the best influences on her. She gave up her previous hobbies of sports and took up fighting, along with other delinquent ideas like drinking and smoking, but apart from that she also started hanging out at the skatepark and started skateboarding, which she was soon enough very talented at. At this time, her new friends started to tease her about her name, so she shortened it to Di, or sometimes Malone.

She was caught multiple times by the police, but never got in any prison time because she never had any illegal drugs on her. What she did have on her only ever got her warnings and carted off to the police station, and whenever her mum tried to reprimand her it would just end in a fight, which meant that Heidi would leave home and not come back for a few days. Heidi dropped out of school early and picked up an odd job at a corner store so that her mum would stop pestering her. Even still, she wouldn't be home often and spent most of the money that she earned on alcohol and cigarettes. Soon enough, she was set free and didn't come back home again, staying at her older boyfriends apartment. Just before the world ended, she got into a fight with another girl who thought that Heidi was flirting with her boyfriend, leading to her bruised face. She found herself in Ayla, and since then has been on the hunt for a job so that she can not only get back to drinking and smoking, but so that she can buy a skateboard, and get back to what she does best.

Appearance: Zebel is about 5’ 8” weighing around 120. He has waist length combed black hair and one right blue eye and one left red eye. He has partial albinism resulting in white patches in his hair, his one red eye, a white splotch on his skin that runs from his left jawline down halfway past his chest.He has light brown/caramel skin. He is of Native American descent attributing to his light brown/ caramel colored skin, thick hair, . He wears a dark red v-neck shirt with a pocket he keeps his pack of spice cigarettes in with a white trench coat over top of the shirt. He wears white jeans with holes worn in at the knees. He wears his chain whip around his waist almost like a belt. He wears white steel tipped buckle boots. He wears red leather cords on his wrist. He has a tribal turtle tattoo on his left shoulder blade

Personality: Zebel is a laid back easygoing man. He strives to be different and enjoys the weird looks he gets from people. A few things he likes are music, cooking, and mostly his instruments. As far as the music goes he likes all music but normally listens to the heavier stuff. He is very anti-social and doesn’t really like humanity as a whole but doesn’t necessarily believe that the whole race should be wiped out. He’ll work with people if he has to but prefers to work alone. He loves nature and often takes strolls through the woods near his house.

Biography: Zebel’s father was murdered before he was born and his mother died during childbirth. He was born in the chinook tribe. The Tribe leader took it upon himself to raise him. Zebel never liked life in the tribe and as soon as he reached the age he could leave he did. He spent a lot of his life wandering the land looking for a place to settle down. He eventually settled down in gaston, south carolina. He was always looked down on due to his weird looks from his partial albinism. He got a full time job doing waste treatment. He got his first guitar and eventually after a few years of practice he joined up with the few friends he had and formed a band called Cry of the Wolf. The band wasn’t very successful but they didn’t care any. After a particularly bad show he went home and went to bed where he had the dream with the message from the gods. When he awoke he was in Taria.

Name: Ezekiel Spetyll

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Appearance: 5'9" and 110lbs, Ezekiel receives the "Someone get this kid a sandwich" comment on a fairly regular basis. He has brown hair and blue eyes, and remarkably pale skin. He is fairly unkempt, with his short hair uneven and obviously self cut in an uneven and shaggy mop. He has a decent amount of stubble, as well, with a marginally better shave than haircut. His wardrobe consists of various old, stained shirts and pants. Clothes, for him, are just there to get the job done. He has a couple of scars around his body, some fairly bad, results of stunts gone wrong. His hands are most noticeable, covered in dozens of small scars.

Personality: Intensely curious and socially inept perhaps describe Ezekiel the best. Most all of his actions and personality are twisted in a strange dichotomy, representing two extremes at an odd duality. He often does things on a whim, simply because he can, but thinks them through to an incredible level. He is remarkably unconcerned with consequences, yet is keenly aware of them at the same time.

Socially, Ezekiel is a toad. The degree varies, but he rotates from a blunt chatterbox to a practical mute, missing nearly every social queue along the way. As things get more serious, he slowly drops into the latter. Whether the issue is danger, or he is simply concentrating on his current task, he can get to the point where a few words are the most one can hope to receive. When in such a state, he tends to pursue the task at hand single mindedly, pushing every distraction to the side in pursuit of his goal, often forgetting to eat or sleep.

Ezekiel tends to gravitate towards similarly extreme personalities, finding himself a counterbalance to whoever he is with. Within his odd circle of friends, he is quite reliable, even in his spontaneousness. He often goes to extremes for the few he does call his friends, helping them out of sticky situations, despite personal cost. Recreationally, he enjoys games of chance and strategy, and particularly ones that combine the two. Everything from card games to Risk fits the bill. He generally enjoys wagering on them, as well, but is often very cautious about it, even if he doesn't outwardly show it.

Path: Path of the Compass

Weapon: The Finding Bauble

A perfectly spherical, heavy weight of polished glass, motes of colored dust are trapped within the orb, giving the appearance of a nebulae locked within. The Finding Bauble possesses the ability to reveal secrets of location. With a thought, a map can be created within it, displaying whatever the owner wishes, with the map centered on the location of the Bauble. The map can be of something as small as a building or as large as a continent. It can also act as a compass, pointing towards something the user consciously desires. More powerful magic, and some technology, can hide things from the Bauble, however. It's remarkably sturdy, so Ezekiel often throws it at people in dire situations, then manifests it again in his palm. It's small size makes such a task easy and quick.

Realm: Ayla

Biography: Ezekiel lived a normal life, for many years. He was born to two loving parents, both of whom he saw infrequently due to their long work hours. He proceeded through school, coasting along for many years. A few years before his graduation, he dropped out of high school. His parents, understandably, were furious, but he didn't care. He was bored, and wanted to learn more of the world than what they taught in a book. With a fake ID and an old motorcycle he had managed to fix up, He drove around the States, searching for odd jobs. What tasks he didn't know, he quickly learned, and soon enough was a jack of all trades. He spent several months settled in Nevada, working as a machinist while he taught himself chemistry. One night, as he fell asleep debating whether to move on to another town, he was whisked away by the Three.

Stats:

  • Brains: 4 - He can learn things incredibly well, and has a good memory, but things like names, dates, and numbers escape him.
  • Brawn: 2 - He can run decently well, has a steady hand, and fair coordination, but can be overpowered by just about anyone.
  • Guts: 7 - Let the chips fall where they may.
  • Heart: 0 - Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
  • Tricks: 7 - Your regular old Macgyver

Just as a note, we start with 20 points. If 5 is average, distributing evenly, we end up with 4 in every stat T_T.

Very true, this incentives people to pick their strengths and weaknesses more carefully...heh.

I love Ezekiel! Fun character that will have a lot of growth to him. Accepted! Zebel also joins that list, nice work, you two.
 
Name: Kraige Winters

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Bi-Curious

Appearance: Kraige is an average height of 5.11 feet, with a middle-class look; He used to have a moustache, but shaved it away along with other scuffs of facial hair. His clothes are an un-ironed combo of a purple shirt, sandy brown jeans and an old green trench-coat with one to many holes badly patched over with sowing equipment. Naturally, his eyes were blue, though after a bad attempt to use coloured contacts, he has the corner of a broken contact stuck on his right eye, giving an inch of green that big enough to be noticeable; but small enough to be REALLY annoying to look at. Short black locks decorate his dark-ish head, the fringe over his eyes cut off giving him an uneven look.

Personality: At best, Kraige could be described as that bitter old man who yells at children to get off his lawn (Well, he would if he had a lawn for someone to step on). With distant parents and a shaky relationship, Kraige has grown into an overly cynical and gruff man, who takes the concept of 'looking out for number one' as gospel. In a way, he could be describe as a coward of sorts, perfectly willing to duck out when he's fully confident he doesn't have a chance, and is experienced in selling people out and taking use of human shields. As he says himself "I'm not a coward per-say, I'm just a man who's smart enough to value survival". Along with an edge of pessimism that remains obvious trough how he speaks.

That's not to say he's a social reject, he can interact well with people when he wants to (Though sometimes it's just really hard to fight the urge to be a prick), he's not ignorant to how he sounds when he's an ass to others. Working as a career criminal for a few years, he's used to conning people out of their socks, working with others and learning when it's the right time to shut the hell up.

Path: "The Path of The Chain, and the Power of the Abyss. What the hell is this? A Pretentious Hippy Chain Gang?"

Weapon: The Anchor (Dubbed by Kraige)

This weapon in it's natural state takes the form of a hook hand that appears over Kraige's hand, as when it's potential is fully realised it can morph between multiple forms (Usually sea themed), including his original hand (But Kraige doesn't know that). Allowing it to become tools that need to be used creatively to be useful, such as a grappling hook, a harpoon, or kitchen whisk... What?

Realm: Ayla

Biography: You wanna know about my life? Well, if you could call it that. Some would say I wasted mine, but when you're teleported to another world by Space Carnies to stop God's Ultimate Galactic Abortion Plan, does it really matter what you were before? Because now your fucked. Everything before... It feels like a blur. It was a cold day in hell when I was ripped from my mother's wound in the middle of nowhere, apparently I was a very loud newborn; forced my mother to use a hearing aid. Growing up in a well-off family, my father was never a family man, he was more like a CEO than a father. He had some fake love stored in his draw, but he'd only offer it to those employees who worked themselves to the bone. By the time I was old enough to work, I was out on the streets, so you must have to imagine how much of a disappointment I was for that fucking guy. Not one phone call. Silence.

I was a middle-class homeless man on the cold streets of a place I don't even remember, so I did what everyone else did, fall into the warm embrace of crime. I dabbled with the worst. Thieves, Cutthroats, Psychopaths, I spent six years gambling with the worst of them, and I learned how to put all my card on the lines. I got a few scars, a few shots a little to close to a vital organ, but I also got that feeling of progression and power I never experienced growing up. Nothing can beat that look on some smug bastards face when you've out smarted him. Or putting one dent in that person who feel's they're untouchable. Yeah, I have pride in my shittiest moments. I don't care.

But then everything grows foggy. I met a girl, I fell for the oldest con in the book, I got into a relationship. We had rings, wedding bells, two empty chairs where my parents were supposed to be. I got a real and legal job as an engineer. We had a little boy, an energetic little tyke... But... they all faded away. I climbed to the top and slipped on the final step. But I can't remember why. She was gone. They were all gone.


Stats:

  • Brains: 5 - Kraige would say he is a relatively smart person. You needed a strong sense of perception of people and location as a criminal, but he does seem to have a problem with his memories; possibly connected to a high amount of stress.

  • Brawn: 3 - Kraige isn't the muscle guy and would prefer a good fire arm or sharp object over a punching arm any day, but out on the streets you don't survive unless you can take a punch or push on through the pain sometimes.

  • Guts: 3 - At a younger age, Kraige would of been much more suited to daring life to take him down, but through many failures and street fights, he finds he still needs much more of a chance of succeeding before he dares to put his life on the line.

  • Heart: 3 - By the time of his 28th birthday, Kraige would be known for being a cold and harsh person, which disgusted him considering that's just how his father was described. He can be a tolerable person when he needs to be, but he'd be much more likely to use you as his meat shield.

  • Tricks: 6 - His years on the street as well as his old job as an engineer offered Kraige plenty of experience and know-how when it comes to quick-thinking, mechanics and general bullshitting.
 
Name: Lorelei Crowley

Personality: Lorelei is the type of person that will be the first to notice if you're upset, pull you aside, and talk about your troubles over a mug of tea. Friendly and inviting almost to the point of naivete, you would think that people would take advantage of her helpful personality, but her good mood and desire to cooperate is almost infectious. Lorelei is quick to forget menial tasks, and some would assume that this , coupled with her optimistic personality, indicates she isn't intelligent. However, Lorelei is an exceedingly talented biologist, and has a knack for understanding people that is seldom seen.

As optimistic for others as she can be, Lorelei's personality when faced with stress or emotion can turn on a dime. She feels the emotions of other around her very strongly, and as such, can become easily stressed by the amount of problems she attempts to "mend". Despite being the quintessential "mom friend", she is quick to forget about things that she isn't incredibly passionate about, and will often lose sight of the big picture in favor of her and others' happiness. However, despite this, there really would be no one better to be with when you need a simple pick-me-up.

Path: Path of the Lantern

Weapon: Lux Flora :
Lorelei is given an intricate flower lantern, hard as stone and pale white. Lux Flora has the ability to absorb any moderately powered projectile attack, provided it and only it makes direct contact with the projectile. Depending on the projectile absorbed, the lantern will gradually bloom to a full color, which can then be discharged with a specialty power attack. The colors and affects currently known are:

Orange: Kinetic Damage - Lux Flora releases a shockwave that knocks enemies backwards a great distance.
Blue: Psychic - Lux Flora releases a sweet blue pollen that lulls enemies into a crazed stupor.
Yellow: Magical - Lux Flora releases a beam of pure solar energy, eviscerating all in its wake.

Realm: Home

Biography: Lorelei was born to two loving parents, a therapist father and a chemist mother. Her early childhood was a long period of scientific curiosity, and Lorelei was determined she wanted to become a scientist when she grew up. Her parents amicably divorced when Lorelei was 14, and moved across the country. Although the divorce was on good terms, the young girl decided to instead bury herself in her studies, and graduate with top marks. Despite offers from many universities, Lorelei chose to attend the university of Hawaii and become a tropical biologist, with a focus on botany. Her college years have seen her make many friends with similar and differing interests, something she was not used to. Her father's profession coming back to her, Lorelei quickly became fascinated and pleased with learning about others. She currently works as a lab aide for a research facility near her school.

Stats:

  • Brains: 5 - Lorelei has an expansive knowledge of natural sciences, and other pastimes.
  • Brawn: 2 - Lorelei is about 5'1" and doesn't do much lifting, making her a weakling.
  • Guts: 3 - Lorelei is usually laid back, but wouldn't hesitate to stand up for a friend.
  • Heart: 7 - A true social magnet, Lorelei's supportive nature is easily noticeable and attractive.
  • Tricks: 3 - Lorelei knows a few tricks around nature, but nothing much else.
 
Name: Eryn Hinoka Clover

Age: 19

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Asexual

Appearance:
  • Eye Color: Her eyes are lime-green with dots of yellow scattered around, and when exposed to the sun, they twinkle a little.
  • Hair Color: Light brown, colored like light milk chocolate. Her hair goes down to her waist like this does, but when doing anything physical, she ties it up. She is prone to forgetting to, however, so she commonly has to do it right in the middle of an activity.
  • Skin Color: Her skin is an extremely light tan, which makes sense considering she is half Japanese.
  • Height: 5'9
  • Weight: 128 lbs.
  • Build: Very muscular, thanks to her workout routine.

Personality: Eryn… is a two-sided gal. On the outside, she can be seen as competitive, arrogant, persistent, and fiery. She tends to make mistakes a LOT, can accidentally come off as annoying, and might just make you push her off a building. However, she makes up for it with the wit and humor she has, always turning something serious into a laughing matter.
On the inside, she is insecure, and really cares what people think about her. When you somehow do something to push her off the deep end, watch out! She will not hesitate to break your arm. Fragile? No. She’s already pretty tough on the inside, she just puts another layer on the outside.

Flaws: Quite a few. She is very arrogant, thinking that she is the BEST and that anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot. However, if she is NOT the best at something, she will train, and train, and train to be the best at it. In this case, it’s a mix of arrogance and persistence, though those are only her first-layer flaws.
Really, she is very insecure on the inside, wishing that she is the best so that people can like her and she can forget about the bad times of her past. If you gave her a bounty to steal a world-famous diamond, she’ll take it; it’s just a step to getting further through life.
In the end, her flaws are arrogance, persistence, insecurity, and her black and white views.

Path: The Path of the Sceptre.

Weapon: Regal Reign, her rapier that can slice through two feet of diamond. When used to full potential, it has pyrokinetic abilities.

Realm: She was on Home.

Biography: Eryn, when she was little, lived a normal life. Her father was a doctor and her mother was a lawyer, so they made lots of money.
Apparently, too much.
While not infamously renowned, people had heard about “the doctor who had ‘healing powers’” (which wasn’t true) or “the lawyer who could ‘read minds” (again, incorrect). People got green with envy and assumed that Eryn’s parents were using MAGIC to do their jobs. While many people dismissed these rumors, it happened.
Someone finally snapped.
When Eryn was 5, Eryn’s parent’s bosses heard about the rumors. When questioned, they said that they had done no such thing, angering people. However, one jealous jerk sent venomous creatures to bite Eryn’s parents. However, no one knew, so they continued life.
Two years later, Eryn’s parents died of a “sickness.”
Eryn was heartbroken. A seven year old faced with the death of both of her parents was overwhelming. So, you’d think she’d be all edgy know, a loner, a goth, a-

Eryn moved in with her paternal grandparents (who were also very depressed), and got her mindset; bad things happen because sometimes, life sends bad things at you. So are you going to cry about it, or break Life’s nose?
Eryn started working out. No, not to exact her revenge (even to this day, no one knows about the creatues), but to make sure that if something bad happened to her, she’d be ready to counter it.
When she was 15, a thief stole her bike. A former member of the military was near and stopped the thief. Eryn was inspired, and started to train even harder so that one day, when she was older, she would be able to fight for herself.
When Eryn turned 18, she moved into an apartment. Though she has a part-time job as a cashier, she is occasionally hunting bounties.

I'm not sure on the whole hexing aspect. I'd check with Southpaw on this specific point, as I assume that all the Super Natural and 'epic' elements only lie in the other worlds, as Earth is supposed to be the mundane and normal place. Which is the reason why Earth was the place chosen by the Gods (The God of the Blue text in the introduction specifically) to take their 'heroes' from. Plus, something about many people actually believing her parents to be magical because they're good at their jobs (Unless they lived in a extremely religious area) seems off.

But again, SouthPaw would have a better grasp on the matter.
 
I'm gonna agree on that front. The magic thing doesn't fit.

I like it a lot! I do have a few notes:

1. Persistence isn't a flaw, in my opinion. If anything, its a very valuable skill.
2. At the current time, it is impossible to even be aware of the other dimensions, let alone travel between them freely.

3. (This is the big change I'd suggest) I love the central idea behind the character: someone that seeks to perfect every possible skill in order to mask a deep insecurity. That's a very intriguing character, and one that can overcome their flaws and become something much more stable. However, it's sullied by this:

In my opinion, this defeats all stakes to her character, and isn't all too realistic. There is no need for growth and acceptance because, like you said, she can overcome any obstacle given enough time. That creates a character far too impenetrable, and it eliminates a very interesting part of her. That part being:

a. Her intelligence and craftiness are at ridiculously low levels
b. Her insecurity possibly being driven by the success of her family

What I would suggest is this: Instead of hiding from these flaws, make them a central concept. Make her a character that is aggressive but very, very insecure, with only a facade of a tough person to hide that inner turmoil. Make her someone that, in all reality, isn't that bright, and not that crafty, like your stats show. But because she is so desperately aware of how successful one can be, she trains relentlessly and puts her eggs in far too many baskets, someone who fails a lot but keeps pushing harder. She is certainly excellent at a variety of things, but the fact is that she can't hit something harder until they work....that she is someone who is obsessed with being something she isn't: everything.

Her challenge to awaken her true potential would then be entirely related to accepting that she is who she is, and she doesn't need to be everything for everyone. It could address her insecurities, and she could emerge as someone confident in who they are and what they do, capable of making decisions for herself and not for being "perfect". Basically, eliminating the Goku-complex.

I understand that this character may be less fun to play at first. However, it's my opinion that the emotion that comes with breaking a flawed character to their very essence and rebuilding them slowly is something that is not only delightfully fun to plan, but a very powerful experience that connects character and author. These are just suggestions; it's your character, after all. I don't mean to single you out, or anything! But I like this character a good deal, and I think this type of clarification on how a character should grow will help future and current applicants, myself included :)
 
Uh uh uh! I didn't say she will- I said that she'll try.
Of course. It's just important to make the distinction between what she's capable of vs. what she is trying to be capable of, both very different things.

Like I said, that suggestion is just that: a suggestion. Feel free to edit the character as you wish, but at the bare minimum, the few little legislative bumps that I suggested and you'll be coasting clear :)

I think they meant it as more 'Persistence to the point of obsession' type of deal, which is a flaw, albeit a situational one, where you lose sight of when you should back down before it's too late.

Also, found this part funny. Considering her Brain stat is 1, yeah, I would expect her to be a bit stupid :D

Though, I wouldn't ask 'Why a chashier?' because she's a bounty hunter, I'd ask because with her pursuit of perfection, you'd think she'd have acquired some qualifications that'd get her a better job. Then again, maybe that's the point (Note: What I'm saying here shouldn't be taken seriously :D)
