Here is a brief territory intel for those of you wanting to start a (topic) Thread about where you live in the territory, what you plan on hunting, love stories etc. we will be in this territory for a while and I leave it up to each of you who want to utilize this information or add on to it. Remember for these threads you are not required to have it in tune with the Main Events. You can have it set up in the future, time skip if everyone is alright with it, and Even have an area that is visited multiple times without much worry.
Above all else I would like everyone to have fun here. so feel free to open some threads if you want a limited interaction just put it in the title. example: Zeke's den (w2) what the w stands for is Wolf for the wolf characters. if someone has 4 characters you could also simply Zeke's den (W/ Gola) you have now set the thread so it is only yourself and the person behind multiple characters.
Lunar Lakes territory: Within this territory you will find hills of different sizes along with 3 lakes all of which are in Crescent shapes like the moon. the Forests around are thick in area's and a bit of grass land is present. the moon that rises over the hills basks the land in an almost other worldly light. Some would call this area the marsh while others may see it more as a prehistoric land full of plants that aren't seen in other territories. This land is fed by a glacier that is further north and unseen by this territory. a few types of animals that are found here include: moose, beavers, Stag-moose, Teratorns, and Badgers just to name a few. This land is filled with animals eager to steal kills and take advantage of other's work. Upon arrival your characters may encounter animals that are living in the wolf dens that have been vacant for years.
Territories touch each other and at one time were separate territories belonging to four packs the path to each area crosses each section. you could say that the territories are north east, south east, north west and south west. Lunar lakes resides in the North east portion. Its hugged up against a glacier on the northern most area and is part of the territory boundary. To the west is a vast salt water area that was deemed the bitter sea by the original pack that had occupied the area. the territory boundary for this area extends from the middle of the bitter sea towards the north west edge of the petrified forest. slightly crossing over it. then running up along the grass lands of the frozen storm territory. the rough acreage of this land spans roughly 76800 miles. This also is the smallest part of the entire area the wolves control throughout the 8 year rotation.
Other facts about Lunar lakes:
common gemstones found here are amethyst and jade while digging out dens during the summer months.
the marshes are shallow but the ground in the water can be frozen in the winter.
Animals can at times get stuck in things called black goo. (Tar pit) this can be a disaster for animals who are not prepared for it.
Den locations tend to be nearest the largest of the lakes in the crescent surrounded by forest and large boulders that were placed here many eons before. Their are a few other Den sites around the territory tended to be used by nursing and birthing females as safe area's these dens tend to be hard to reach and at times nearly impossible to get into weather it is hidden by a thicket of bramble or just so hard to spot that even a saber may have issues realizing that the location is a den.
