Appearance: He has the look of a middle-aged man, but can look intimidating as well. Wearing a suit is not necessary, but he usually wears it when doing things for the Society (like dressing appropriately for work). He's a bit overweight, but is still athletic enough to do what the job calls for. He tends to wear 8 panel hats to cover up his balding hair. The hats also help with the right lighting, as his mask only covers up his face from the nose down to his chin.
Personality: Mauricio is a very traditional man. He helps and protects those who show the proper respect, and punishes those who go against them. He never goes too far, unless the situation calls for it. He approaches things in a very professional manner in order to cause the least amount of trouble for the False Face Society as possible. He follows orders without question, and knows that Black Mask is intelligent and smart. At the same time, though, he knows that the boss can be rash at the very least when something doesn't go according to plan. In that case, he tries to do what he's told, but is forced to act independently to bring things back to control.
He seems able to make friends easily with less wealthy people, and often trades favors with them.
Goals & Ambitions: To maintain the respect he earned from people over the years, and the income that the Society had worked to gain. Eventually make up with his brother.

Their parents weren't happy when they found out that their sons have been breaking into houses and stealing. As they continued onto the more serious stuff, Vinny was killed after a misunderstanding. Soon after, Joe left the game out of fear, leaving Mauricio on his own. He continued on the path of crime and played things safe. When he started working with the False Face Society as an Associate, he worked as the getaway driver for bank heists. His constant evasion of the cops earned him a rather blunt nickname. He was only caught once, and sentenced to ten years in prison. Of course, even from there he was able to get out early due to his ability to his connections. From there on, he just kept getting better and better at his job, and further and further away from his brother.

- M1911 Semi: A common firearm among gun owners. Easily hidden, and verily dependable.
- Knife: An average, sharp, easily concealable knife.
- Connections and Favors: Actions and words are nothing without something behind it, and the best resource to pull stem from the people you know. Though limited and difficult to gain, a single favor is all that's needed to keep the cops from showing up in time, or get your hands on something that you normally can't find.
- Great Driver: Mauricio started off as a getaway driver, and has since become much better. Enough to lose the cops miles before reaching a safe house.
- Boxing: Though not a champion by any means, Mauricio knows how to fight. Helps when a punk thinks they can just run up to him and mug him. Fighting dirty also helps when he can't just brawl his way out of a fight.
- Cleverness: Years of experience has led Mauricio to learn how things work in both the criminal and normal worlds. Give him time, and he can hide almost anything stolen. He also can tell when something's a set up or when something's about to go downhill.
- Basic Lockpicking: There is absolutely no way he's going to crack open a safe or hack through an electric lock on his own. Normal locks that require a key, on the other hand is much easier for him.
- Hotwiring: Like lockpicking, but with cars! The more recent cars are a bit of a challenge, but knowing certain people can help you understand them a bit better.
- Completely Normal Human, no powers, and no physical fighting skill outside of boxing.
- He doesn't have immediate access to any special weapons designed to counter metahumans.
- Though he knows how to make a break for it, he's not like the latest generation of thieves. He doesn't know parkour or free running, and although he can make a few jumps across rooftops, he's still going to be very clumsy and slow in comparison.
