A rose in jail
He's rude and conceited and so full of himself.
They had always known him as someone with a heart full of images... beautiful images that contain him and only him and this causes him to always talk about himself. He loves himself above all, and looks down on others no matter how much they are smarter than him, no matter how much they're handsome than him, no matter how much they are good at something than him... no matter what everyone else has, he always loves himself, but loves himself too much that he'll start bragging about himself to everyone else.
Everyone is annoyed of him because of that.
Every time he says something, they try to pretend not to hear him. Every time he shows himself off, they try not to pay attention. Every time he shows everyone his skills, they try to turn a blind eye. But he's just so unavoidable that none of them could ever stray away from his so-called "talents".
They want to hate him.
But they couldn't.
They couldn't because they know he also suffers inside. They know that after school, after his enjoyable time here in this classroom with them, he'll be insulted by the people back at his home. They know he needed someone to trust. They know he needed someone in his life. He needed to know that he wasn't alone... people are here for him.
For sure, if he starts bragging about himself again, they'll tell him to stop.
"We love you enough already. Stop making us love you more."
Because he shouldn't be feeling anything than just pride. He also needed to feel love.
