Eagleville located in Maine can be considered one of the most picturesque towns in America. The biggest crime’s reported are related to parking tickets. But young Sam Yoshida believes that there is something sinister going on.​

June 1st, 1987

Sam is a 13-year-old boy with a lively imagination, or that’s what his mom always says when he shares his theories with her. There have been several mysterious disappearances all over the county. Aliens. It has to be aliens right? Or that’s what Sam thinks anyway. Everyone else just brushes him off, who would listen to the lone weirdo? The tall-tales of a boy. But Sam swears he’s seen something in town. A tall, dark, and brooding figure in the corner of his eye that vanishes when he turns around. He’s all alone in this. That is until one day he goes to his secret clubhouse and he finds a surprise in the form of his childhood heroes…and other characters from fiction that have materialized into the real world.​

Not looking a gift horse in the mouth Sam’s through the moon with meeting his idols and conscripts the group to try and find out the mystery of the town, as well as trying to find a way to send them all back home to where they belong.​

Will they uncover a great secret, or will they find out that the imagination of a 13-year-old boy can sometimes be misleading? Their mission will take them through the seasons and a trip to at least one mall, to find the truth.​

Premise: While player interaction is always important the choices you make in this roleplay can drastically alter the narrative and even cause it to end prematurely before anything has been solved. Interacting with the townsfolk can change what you can and can't do as well. Earning the trust of the local gossip might give the group clues to solving the mystery. Not to mention that Sam's an impressionable kid where the choices of the group can lead him down very different paths and leave him a very changed kid before it's all over.

Character requirements: Since it is 80s themed the character requirement is that you have to roleplay a character from something created in the 80s, or characters created later that are set in the 80s like say Stranger Things or Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Characters from a later era reboot etc is also possible, for example, if you want to roleplay one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from one of the later shows or films it is perfectly fine to do so. Or if you want to roleplay a Transformer it does not have to be one from the G1 era.​

HOWEVER! If you are genuinely struggling to think of a character that fits the theme then it's perfectly fine to pick someone outside of it.​

Canon: Scooby Doo Franchise ( Taken from after Ghoul School but before Reluctant Werewolf)

Powers / Abilities / Equipment:
Puppy Power- Scrappy is a bundle of energy and for some reason, is strong enough to pick up a full grown adult male and adult great Dane

Language proflic- Scrappy knows how to speak English super well for a dog.

Smarter than Your average puppy- Scrappy can solve riddles as well as understand clues left in notes. He also can read human signs

Look like a dog, walk like a man- Scrappy walks on two legs

Give me some support and I can do it- If there is enough books and springs, Scrappy can poorly drive a car.

This Child is smarter than some adults in the room- Scrappy is considered a child prodigy who has created some inventions such as crazy rubber (Rubber that can catch people) and a computer watch ( A watch with the process power of a computer.) He has both of these on him.

Short Bio: Though not an any of his own lore, due to being related to Scooby doo, Scrappy may also be a descendant of an alien race known as the Anunnaki and a descendent of Alexander The Great dog Peritas ( And be able to open a portal to his hell like his uncle)

SHORT BIO
Although not much is known about her past, her memories are repressed so it won’t be a real issue. However, what we do know I will show here.
Sophie is the eldest child of Jack and Rosemary Walten and elder sister to Edd and Molly Walten. Jack is the co-founder of Bunny Smiles Inc., the company that owns Bon’s Burgers, a local Chuck-E-Cheese expy, alongside Felix Kranken.
One day, Edd and Molly had a school party, and had no-one to drive them. Jack called Felix, who obliged. However, on the way back, Felix crashed the car while drunk and accidentally killed Edd and Molly. This incident not only ruined Jack, but Sophie as well. She started to take prescription medication to help cope and suppress her memories.
Shortly after, both her parents went missing, making Sophie spiral even more into her mental illness.

She comes from right before the events of BunnyFarm which takes place in 1982.​

As one might guess, Buddy can mimic the powers of any animal, which make for a very versatile set of powers. Such examples include superhuman strength from mimicking a gorilla or even a T-rex, flight from copying a bird, having the swimming ability of a fish, wall-crawling from a spider, the healing factor of a worm, the electricity of an eel, the jumping ability of a flea, and much more.

Though Animal Man was created in 1965, this depiction of him primarily takes after his appearances in Grant Morrison's Animal Man run, which began in 1988. To that end, this incarnation of Buddy is taken from just after the events of Morrison's run.​

Anatomy Class: Due to her medical training, Mimi has complete knowledge of the human body. This means she knows where best to cut, dealing extra damage to Humanoid Enemies. This can also be used to figure out where someone may have been injured for better treatment.

Fast Learner: When she takes damage, Mimi learns what to do in order to prevent damage to herself. This means she becomes tougher and tougher to fight the more she fights. She can also retain facts and knowledge quicker than average.

First Aid: Drawing upon her skills as a nurse, as well as her Obsession, Mimi gains her sanity back upon defeat of an enemy. This can also be used to treat injuries of allies and others.

Short Bio: Mimi is a nurse at the local hospital in her small Japanese town in the year 198X. When it’s threatened by a cult who wishes to summon Eldritch Monstrosities from the stars, she steps up to fight them, as well as the horrors that lurk in the town itself.

Powers / Abilities / Equipment:

-Strength: Pippi is strong. She beat the worlds strongest man in a weight lifting contest, can lift cars and horses, and can push ships through the water.

-Super Breath/Scream: Pippi has a powerful set of lungs. With a powerful breath, she can have a ship set sail, and her screams are powerful enough to uproot trees.

-Speed: Even while carrying a horse, Pippi can keep up with a train.

-Mr Nilsson: Pippi has a pet monkey named Mr. Nilsson. Theyre best friends.

-Other: Pippi has access to a slingshot, and can make her own clothes. She has a pet horse.

Short Bio: Pippi’s mother died shortly after she was born, and her father was a sailor. She lived a good chunk of her early life on a pirate ship, before being moved to Villa Villekulla. Her father eventually went missing while out at sea, and Pippi was left to live on her own with her pet monkey and horse, while making friends with Tommy and Annika, local children around her age. Despite constant pressure by the town to conform to social norms, Pippi remains blissfully independent and gets herself all caught up in all kinds of adventure.

Other: Cannot count, cannot read, and cannot write. Can’t tell the difference between good and bad behavior. Very trusting of others.

Powers / Abilities / Equipment:

With a magical bracelet given to him by Ravio, he can turn into a painting for a short period of time, and is able to use this ability to move about any flat surface (such as walls) to reach places many wouldn't be able to get to as well as to travel to Lorule and back through glowing dimensional cracks scattered along both Hyrule and Lorule.

He also has the Hylian Shield and the Master Sword as his main weapons, as well as the upgraded bow on his person currently. Otherwise he's skilled in the use of magical rods (fire, ice, and sand) and other weapons such as the hookshot and bombs. He's also has a bit of a knack for puzzles.


Short Bio:
Link is a Blacksmith's apprentice, and after delivering a sword to the palace where he witnessed Princess Zelda turn into a painting by Yuga, began a quest to save both Hyrule and Lorule by freeing the Seven Sages trapped in paintings scattered across Lorule's decaying monster infested lands to gain the Triforce of Courage and hopefully free Zelda and defeat Yuga.

He's taken before the end of the game, still in the process of freeing the Sages with only 3/7 saved so far.

Powers / Abilities / Equipment: Aiko carries a Steak Knife as a weapon, as it allows her to quickly strike by utilizing her natural athletic ability. She is also faster when attacking due to her athleticism.

Running Shoes: Aiko has a pair of Running Shoes which helps her run faster, allowing her greater speed.

Fast Swimmer: Being captain of the Swim Team, Aiko is an incredibly fast swimmer, able to react slightly faster than the average person.

Discipline: Due to training, Aiko can withstand hits taken in combat, as well as outlast rivals when swimming or running. This results in her regaining vitality when she succeeds at something, be it combat, a competition, or a puzzle.

Short Bio: Aiko is the captain of the swim team at her high school. After nearly drowning in a supernatural event, she began investigating the weird goings-on in her town, going up against a cult that planned on summoning an eldritch deity to destroy the world, as well as various monsters that exist underneath the fabric of society itself.

Satoko is extremely crafty at making traps of all kinds, ranging from harmless pranks to injury-causing traps. Otherwise, she's just your average young schoolgirl from a rural village.
After the events of Satokowashi-hen, she gains the power of "live in loops" like her best friend Rika. When she dies, she will always find herself at what is considered "the start of the loop." Unlike Rika, she can snap her fingers to rewind to at most 10 seconds in the past, and also retain her knowledge and memories every time a "loop" is reset via her own death.

For the sake of RP consistency and fairness, this will not be used at all, and serve more as flavor text.

-Short Bio-
Satoko is taken before the start of the Watanagashi Festival in Hinamizawa, where she originally had plans for hanging out with her friends from school during the festivities.
In progress of Nekodamashi-hen, Satoko prepared for this loop to be enough to convince Rika to not leave Hinamizawa in the future, such as in the case of Satokowashi-hen. Such as making this loop being the most rewarding and welcoming rather than all the tragedy and suffering in the previous loops.
 
I realized that I never gave any info when it was supposed to start. The rp will start next week on Monday the 26th so there's still time to join if you're interested!

Powers / Abilities / Equipment: Ireena is trained in the art of swordplay by her brother Ismark. She fights defensively, focusing on parries and attacking back. Being the reincarnation of Tatyana, she is one of the few able to wield the Sun Sword, which is a weapon able to defeat Strahd. She is also well versed in the art of Politics, being the daughter of a Burgomaster. She wears armor with a tabard bearing Barovia's Coat of Arms (That of Strahd's: A raven mid-flight.)

Short Bio: Ireena is the reincarnation of Tatyana, a woman coveted by the Vampire lord Strahd Von Zarovich. She is the adopted daughter of the town of Barovia's Burgomaster, Kolyan Indirovich, and the brother of Kolyan Ismark. As a result, she is the object of Strahd's desire. As such, he has bitten her twice, and attacked her house every night. Since the attacks ended and her father died of a heart attack, she has set off on a journey across Barovia to Krezk.

Cybertronian Physiology - Grimlock is a Cybertronian, which means he can assume a 'robot mode' and an altmode. This usually means some kind of vehicle like a car or jet, but in this case, it's a robotic Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Flame Breath - The Dinobots come equipped with a burning breath from their dinosaur mode's mouths. Unsurprisingly this ability just gets more common as time passes by.

Vast Strength - Even among Cybertronians, Grimlock and his fellow Dinobots have great strength.

Subspace Storage - A form of Cybetronian technology that allows one to store weapons and equipment in a pocket dimension.

Magma Blades - These dual-wielded swords swords are big and heavy on the hands, and when they're big and heavy by Grimlock's standards, you know they pack a serious punch! While he has difficulty lifting one, they have no difficulty lifting him - into the skies, that is! Though, if they're too heavy for Grimlock to dual-wield, who exactly is strong enough to wield both with ease?
