To be a graduate of the Torch, is to do so in the knowledge that in doing so you become another ember. A spark that sets aflame all dark things and brings light where light itself may be weak or nonexistent. Nowhere is that more evident then the battlefield known as the Ashen Front.

Lately, on the planet of Ash, the Order has descended and turned it into a grueling war of attrition. Facing off against their forces, mercenaries and monsters, lie the Coalition and their allies.

Commander-in-chief Gaius, stationed in Charon, commands the forces of the Coalition, protecting its native race from the brutality of the Order. As the site of a former Murder Game, the planet has been majority twisted into a ruined and ghastly land by a cursed energy known as malevolence. Upon the front lines, agents are sent in droves to turn back the tide of nightmares. In the chasms of the world, others sends out sorties to discover and map out the semi-collapsed underground, sealing up boltholes and fighting alongside their comrades in skirmishes beneath the surface of the earth.

Whether you fight alongside your comrades at the front, protect the civilians who flock for protection on the dangerous road or seek answers in the dark, you are needed here desperately.

Welcome to Outpost 98-A6, AKA "Ragnarok".

You are one of many embers.

Time to light the flame.

Deep within the city of Charon was a young man. His body possessing an athletic build, his eyes? Glinting, deep pools of gold. The left side of his face, however, was horribly scarred. His hair, long and dark, hung in his face as he gazed out at the people upon the streets of Charon near the Supply Drop by which he stood vigilant, hood obscuring his face only slightly while casting shadow over the rest of it. Said hood laced with the reds and golds of a raging fire. In a way, it was much akin to the male, himself. Stubborn, hotheaded, and burning brightly in the darkness of the war-ravaged planet.

To say the least, the fire lord was starting to have some second thoughts about his new position. It was one thing to help the Avatar. One thing to help take down his father- the thing that had taken him so long to realize was his real destiny. But coming here, alone, without his friends to face the problems of the entire multiverse? That was something that not even the Avatar himself could do with even his friends, let alone Zuko, alone. What had he been thinking?

...Whatever. He was here, now. It was all he could do to keep an eye out for any sort of trouble while helping the civilians get their supplies.

...Yes. There was no mistaking it. She didn't even to lean over to make sure. Despite his distance and the hood he wore, she could instinctively tell that was him. The talk she had overheard was accurate, her brother was here as well. At least, a version of him. If she were being honest, the thought of there being multiple versions of her family was unnerving. How different or similar they could be...eerie. Vaulting over the railing, she landed deftly on her feet on the same level ground as Zuko.

She quietly approached, her armor somewhat obscured by her own nondescript cloak. At the last moment, she removed her own hood and stared into those burning golden eyes with brief uncertainty before her face lit up.

"So it is true. Hello...brother."

It was another shitty day on this shitty planet. What was this hellhole? Harper Row had been working in the Logistics Division of the UN for a few years, allowing her to eventually become one of the higher ranking individuals of that division. It wasn't as fun as kicking ass with Bruce, but it still had it's perks (like extended coffee breaks!)

Well Harper got ready for work as usual. Though, as she always told herself every morning in the mirror...

(Note: Harper isn't wearing the mask and her hair is down)

When Harper arrived at the the Terminal, she sat up on one of the control panels (away from the buttons of course, just on the cold metal exterior) and began swinging her legs back and forth as she placed her hands by her sides. It was then that her boss, Skyla, had walked in. Harper shot her a wave and a friendly smile.

"Yo boss!"

The UN Airfield:

The airfield was always busy. Troops in Power Armor and UN Fatigues coming and going, supplies being unloaded from planes and ships. Tanks and Armored Personnel Carriers driving in and out with UN and Coalition troops and supplies. It was a hub of activity on Ash, right next to the Old City's battlefields or Charon itself.

And one woman was in charge of it all.

185px-Black_White_Skyla.png

Skyla, local director of the United Nations Peacekeepers Logistics Division. She was in charge of deliveries in and out of the planet, and to and from Charon. She directed aid drops, supply restocking, and troop change-outs. Skyla, the former Mistralton City Gym Leader, and participant of the Rapture Incident now led a division of the UN Logistics Division.

On a probationary basis. Ash was more like a disciplinary detail than anything, but it didn't matter.

Skyla stood over her desk looking over some papers."Morning, Harper!" She said as Harper walked into the Mission Control Center (formerly the Check-In area at Charon's airport.) She saluted as her subordinate passed. "We received a new shipment."

Harper stood up and saluted her in return, the same cocky smile remaining on the Bird's face. Harper would nod and, almost flirtatiously, walk toward Skyla and look at the papers she was holding.

"Hmm... well I guess I could go and check up on the manifest for ya. Y'know, since it seems like you have your hands full with those papers and all." Before Skyla could get another word out, Harper would exit the building and head to the airfield.

When she arrived, Harper looked around at the place and smiled. "Ah... nothin' like the smell of fresh cargo in the morning!" She said to herself with a smile as she walked around the place. Waving to a couple of soldiers that passed her, Harper first approached whoever was directing the shipment and ask to see the manifest so she could make sure everything was in order.

Max Thunderman, Scooby Doo and Lucas

Max Thunderman sighed and looked over at his not so great travel mates. He hadn't exactly planned to drag them to this strange planet. He had only been trying to make a portal back to there, back to Rapture. To understand what had happened there, but he instead wound up in two different places. He had accidently caused this mess. Thankfully, he wasn't injured, but he was tied and thirsty and hungry. " Do you remember if we placed this destination yet?"

"Rell rif ri rnow. Ry rech risn't rexctly roptimal rhen ri'm rungry. Rhankfully, re raven't found rany renemies,"*1 the dog said.

" Max, do you think we should perhaps rest or try to find something of use?" He asked the teen. The teen couldn't answer as he had collapsed from the sheer exhaustion.

" Ri rarried rhim rast rime, rit's rour rurn,"*2Scooby replied.

" Okay," Lucas replied, picking up the teen. He looked in the distance. " Looks like their is a hospital in the distance."
" Ret's ro rhen," *3 he replied.

*1 Hell, if I know. My tech isn't exactly optimal when I'm hungry. Thankfully, we haven't found any enemies.

*2 I carried him last time, it's your turn.

*3 Let's go then.

Near the various planes and vehicles on the tarmac was a relatively normal plane that almost anyone who knew military vehicles could identify. It was a standard C-130 Hercules with UN Livery decorating it. Several soldiers began unloading heavy crates from it. A suit of Power Armor was of the most prominence, standing next to a group of boxes directed to the UN Volunteer Hospital. If Harper would check her clipboard, she would notice a group of soldiers inside the plane. A gruff, Sergeant looking guy, a young Chinese woman in a red jumpsuit, and a pilot of some sort.

They all seemed to be gathered around a box talking.

---

The UN Hospital District was one of the most heavily guarded districts outside of Ragnarok garrison itself. Several UN Troops in riot armor walked next to Brotherhood soldiers in Power Armor. A mech stood on overwatch, and an Armored Personnel Carrier with a Red cross on it drove past.

However, despite all the military presence, kids were also playing, and people carried sick and dying towards several doctors and nurses who welcomed people in. Several soldiers dragged their comrade along, two more running over with a stretcher.

A soldier in damaged armor and a Gas Mask with a UN armband stepped in front of the group. "Names, please?" He asked.

Well, everything seemed to be in check here. Just as Harper was about to leave she noticed the three figures inside of the plane conversing among themselves around some box that didn't appear to be on her list. Harper would cock a brow and approach the three before placing a hand on her hip and leaning it to the side. The first thing she did, of course, was flash her badge to show her position of importance.......

And to make her look cool.

"Harper Row, Logistics Division of the UN. What'ya doin' over here?" She asked in a nice and welcoming tone, though that would change if she thought anything suspicious was going on here. Well more suspicious than it already seemed, at least.

Scooby Doo, Lucas and Unconcious Max
Lucas looked over at the area. If he would have been with Dorothy, she would have suggested trying to sneak in there. Heck, he half-expected if the kid was conscious, he would have suggested the same thing. Damn, with his recklessness, the kid, Max, reminded him of Dorothy t

Lucas did take a second to observe the scenary and despite being guarded, there were kids playing and sick people were walking in and out. He wondered why this hospital was so protected. It seemed strange to him, but he didn't mention it for the mere reason that they were the first other people they encountered.

" I'm Lucas and this dog here is Scooby Doo. The Unconcious boy on my arm is named Max, he just fainted from hunger exhaustion."

Henry Morgan

Henry had been out on the planet taking a brisk walk. He hadn't seen anyone recently, but the hospital was depressing at the minute. He arrived back at the hospital, just in time to see the scene. He decided to wait until he heard that the boy hadn't eaten. Henry, throughout his whole two hundred years of living could never look away from a hungry kid, no matter how close they are to adulthood. " When I get in there, I should talk to the doctor, goodness knows how long these three had been out here," he muttered.

Fandral the Dashing

The Asgardian had been Planetside for a week now. It took a few days traveling on his ships boat to make it to the one major piece of civilization on this retched planet.

He proceeded to sell the last remaining vestige of value from his personal starjammer to the locals. Plenty of value at least. His ships boat would help the locals quite a bit and was only a luxury for himself.

He secured a small dwelling with furnishings and started to furnish it. After that he started to explore the city, learning of its secrets. Not surprisingly he determines this place could use a dashing hero, just the kind of thing Fandral could get himself into.

He had heard that there was a significant military presence near what was once an airport. The entrance was clearly marked and just inside, in what appeared to be her own important looking office was a woman. A good looking woman with reddish brown hair.

" Hello there, ( Fandral smiled ) I would like to talk with someone of importance. "

The Chinese woman was the first to talk. "Ah, hello. I suppose you need us to sign off on that?" She asked, holding out her hand.

The Pilot ignored it, and turned to the Chinese Woman. "But see, I don't think that would work. These... Things don't follow common laws of physics. I don't think we can just fight them."

The Chinese woman sighed. "This is why we have to adapt. What do you think?" The woman named Morgan turned to Harper. "How would you kill something incorporeal?"

The Gruff Sergeant laughed. "Let's not bother the Logistics Division with our issues. They have enough to worry about."

---

Skyla smiled at Fandral. "Skyla, United Nations Logistics Division commander, at your service." She said happily. "What can I help you with?"

---

The guard nodded. "Thank you, that's all I needed." He said. he waved his arm at two other soldiers who rushed over to releive Lucas and Scooby of Max. "Let these three in." He ordered.

When they entered, the hospital interior was relatively clean. Director Maera walked down the hall, talking to two assistants. They went off on their own. She walked towards the group. "What's going on here?" She asked, concerned.

Harper smiled and handed the woman the papers for her to sign off on. When she heard the question, Harper pondered for a moment before giving her answer.

"Hmmm, well if by incorporeal you mean not living... I'd probably get a lobotomy." She said, half joking.

Morgan signed off on them, and handed the clipboard back to Harper. "Incorporeal as in spiritual. Like a ghost." She said.

"See? They have too much to worry about." The sergeant said, offhandedly.

Hospital- Lucas, Scooby Doo, Henry Morgan and Unconcious Max

Lucas smiled and was thankful when the soldiers had taken Max off of his hands for now. He and Scooby walked in and Henry Morgan flashed his hospital badge for the guard and followed them in.

Lucas looked over at the hospital. This was definitely a strange place to be indeed. He wasn't sure what to make of it and was shocked when the woman appeared. " I brought someone I have grown close to due to falling unconscious from lack of substenance here, " he said.

Henry Morgan was quiet, watching for now along with the dog.

Harper took the clipboard back and nodded again, this time understanding what she said.

"Well if it were me, I'd probably make some sort of device like the ones they used in the movie 'Ghostbusers.' With the vacuums looking things." Harper then looked to the sergeant and simply gave him a rather suggestive wink. "Well I'm not busy all the time, hun~" Harper said.

She was a little flirt, wasn't she?

"See? It's possible to fight." Morgan said.

"B-but, that requires specialized technology." The pilot said. "Some that we can't get access to."

The sergeant laughed again. His laugh was like that of a sailor, loud and boisterous. "Kid, you just got proven wrong. Own up to it." He said. He turned back to Harper. "Really? I thought y'all were on call err whatever. Anyway, Lieutenant Yu, I think it's your turn fer Shore Leave." He said to the Chinese Woman. By this time, the plane was almost fully unloaded.

---

"Got it. I'm Medical Director Aline Maera. We'll find you a room." She said. She smiled at the group as she looked down at her tablet. She looked at Henry. "Can you show them to a room? I'll be there in a minute."

Harper rolled her eyes at the men who obviously didn't get what she was saying, so she just left it at that.

"Right... well why're you asking anyways, if I may ask."

Hospital- Lucas, Henry Morgan, Scooby dooand STILL unconscious Max

Henry nodded at the director. " Yes, I can find them a room and escort them there," he replied. After a few minutes, he found an empty room. Room 209 would do just fine. He looked over at them. " Lucas, Max and Scooby Doo, that is what you said your names were?" He asked.

" Yes, that is indeed our names."

" Pleasure to meet you. I'm Henry Morgan, "he replied.

Fandral the dashing

The Asgardian was dressed in his usually noble green trimmed in fur with medium Asgardian flexible gold armor. Armed obviously with a scabbarded blade.

"I beg your pardon my Lady. I am quite new to this planet, and frankly this part of galatic space. You see, where I come from, I am known for my prowess on the battlefield. Where could I look into applying to help with the defenses in some way?"

However odd it appeared, his body language betrayed no shenanigans.
