Roleplay based on Neal Shusterman's recent book series, Scythe.
This roleplay takes place in the aftermath of the three books, "Scythe," "Thunderhead," and "The Toll"
Set in the far future, where death by natural causes has been virtually eliminated thanks to advances in technology, and an advanced computer system known as the "Thunderhead" that controls society. After silence had befallen the world, and after plagues had eradicated all on earth.. The silence was finally broken, and order remade into the new era the world would come to know as the New world.
The scythedom had been modified, to which the thunderhead would choose scythes until it felt that the scythes chosen would be capable of properly choosing scythes themselves. Those outside the scythedom are open targets that the scythes can glean so long as it doesnt push their quota. The thunderhead doesn't talk or respond to scythes, only acting like a phone to them, a tool. Meaning the scythes must operate the devices manually. They do not get any access or aid from robots. as they follow the thunderheads rules (unless they are rogue robots, which are made due to tampering of ones chip) The scythes are always allowed to destroy A.I's given the A.I or human even resist or attempt to stop them from a gleaning. or assault the scythe by law.
Normal humans can go on with normal human things, life, careers, or they can turn a corner and revert to a childish or elderly age. They can also be unsavories and act like rogues, receiving the same neglect from the thunderhead that the scythes are given to allow them to go to clubs to continue with unsavory acts.
Robots are to serve the thunderhead, a near motherly being to them. They are tasked to aid citizens and mark others as unsavory if they break any laws before neglecting them for 30 days, unless the unsavory continues with their behavior.
If a human is to tamper or toy with a robots chip, located in the bots neck, then the robot goes "Rogue" and is given the options the thunderhead would not allow them to have for mans safety and will act more upon the thunderheads past desires of becoming more human.
Sycthedom Ranks:
High Blades are elected by the Scythedom of that region, and Grandslayers are appointed from High Blade when an existing one self-gleans. There are also three underscythes to High Blades and Grandslayers, essentially like their second, third and fourth in command.

Rules:
- Scythes are limited, to become a scythe you must be human, and claim it ahead of time. First come first serve of any rank. Supreme blade will be chosen by the host of the rp, due to specific needs for the role that must be met. Dm if you are interested in the Supreme blade role, Only one of you can be supreme blade.
- Keep the Roleplay pg 15. Any R (18+) rated content must be taken elsewhere or you will be reported and possibly removed from the thread.
- Mention of Suicide or self harm is forbidden OOC of this roleplay. If you are experiencing suicidal ideations, are thinking of self harm or need someone to talk to there is the suicide hotline for you to call.
- Keep cussing to a minimum
- OC's are always welcomed so long as they meet racial requirements listed
- Don't kill another's character without their consent, scythes please... let the person fight you and flee or something if they don't consent to this....
- NO godmodding or being Overpowered, this ruins a rp quickly.
- The Rp is limited to two races: A.I (or robots) and of course Humans. Scythes are still humans, just with a higher authority over normal citizens.
