Story: Crista Sorrel has no biological family that she knows of, she lived on the streets until the Monastic order of Lutetia picked her up and gave her the option of becoming a paladin. Having not better option she accepted and found that she was a natural with a sword and stronger than she appeared. She has been a paladin for many years and has never once gone against the rules, that is until one day when she met a garoux named John. She fell in love with him and had a romantic relationship with him in secret. it did not last though as one day John's past caught up with him when a former-comrade who was part of a wild pack of garoux came to confront him about why he left them. A paladin heard them fighting and in the commotion John was killed. Crista has been secretly mourning him and continued to keep her relationship and her feelings secret. Now she bares a soft spot for garoux and has even taken an orphaned garoux boy under her wing unbeknownst to the order.

Story: Morden along with his twin brother Mistigun were both paladin for the Monastic Order. They had been picked up elsewhere in Valore when they were found lost and alone together. Mistigun seemed happy in his place in the order but Morden was not. He wanted to follow his own brand of justice, which was to cut down anyone who got in his way during a mission. Mistigun noticed his brother becoming more brutal as they worked together, killing people who, yes were not good people, but wre also not criminals. Morden was planning to leave the order for good and wanted
Mistigun to come with him, but he refused. Mistigun tried to talk sense into his brother but Morden felt betrayed and so he ran his brother through, killing him. He escaped from the Order in the night and has been on the run since. Marks of his handy work have been seen around Lutetia in the underbelly of the city.

Story: When she was still a child Madison was living on the streets with her older twin brothers Mistigun and Morden. The three of them were all taken in by the order, and when it was made evident that Madison was not fit to be a paladin like her brothers she was instead given the responsibility of being a cleric. Madison took well to the studying and proved to have a natural healing hand. She is a kind and gentle soul, and is always seeking to help those in need. She was happy to have found her place in the Order along with her brothers...until one morning when she woke to the news that Mistigun had been killed by none other than Morden who had fled and gone into hiding, now an enemy of the order. Now without a family to speak of Madison has become shy and more withdrawn.

Story: When he was alive Benjamin (Ben) always remembered being alone. Then again that likely had to do with a large chunk of his memory that was gone. His memories begin at the age of twelve, waking up on the street. He doesn't know how it happened and he hasn't thought about finding out. For seven years he was in and out of work and during particularly hard times he had to break some laws to get by. Nothing terrible like murder but he did pick some pockets and steal food when he had to. He became fairly agile which helped him get out of trouble most of the time. His luck ran out though when he got caught stealing from the wrong person and with a few shots dropped dead. To his surprise and shock he came to, face to face with a ghoul named Ghast. His reaction towards being reanimated was...less than happy. He knew being a ghoul would make him more of an outcast than he was before, and even though Ghast and his gang seemed like good enough people not being fully alive made him uneasy. He wasn't really one to participate in the gang's antics, but after some time he learned to accept them for who they were. After all they are the closest thing to a family Ben has ever had. Ben did eventually accept the fact that he was a ghoul, but that didn't keep him from missing his humanity.
Abilities:
Enhanced Physiology - magically increased strength/speed, enhanced sense of smell.
Pain Filter - the ability to 'turn off' pain receptors.
Superior Regeneration - Ben can recover from almost any injury given enough time to heal, even those that would be fatal. Only reducing him to a pulp, a pile of ash, or a similar level of destruction will stop him eventually getting back up.

Story: Claude is the member of a pack of werewolves that live outside the walls of Lutetia. They do their best to keep to themselves and not draw the attention of the Order within the walls, but sometimes it cannot be avoided. He is close friends with the leader of his pack, Rand, who asked him to come along on a mission inside the city. Their mission was one of revenge. Recently a member of their pack left them to go live in the city as a citizen. Their former packmate did not return for months and so Claude was sent to find out if he was alright and to convince him to return. He found his friend living happily as a blacksmith in the city and attempted to make him return. When he refused he attempted to bring him back forcefully and a fight ensued. Someone must have heard them fighting and called the Order to handle it because very soon a paladin arrived to stop them. The paladin was aiming for Claude but his companion jumped in the way of the bullet and fell dead. Claude escaped quickly but returned to avenge his former packmate and find the paladin responsible.

Bio: Stephan is the only son of a noble family. He was raised in Lutetia and ever since he was a boy he has always admired the Paladins of the Order. He wanted to follow their example and dedicate his life to protecting the people of Lutetia. He had to convince his family first but as soon as he got their approval he became a proselyte. Stephan did his best to work harder than any other proselyte and before long he was already taking the silver. His ideas about the order at first had been very naive and he quickly learned that being a paladin was a lot more than he bargained for, but even after this revelation he continued to dedicate himself to justice and to his ideals. He carries himself very well and remains a beacon of positivity within the Order. He is very much a "knight in shining armor" archetype.
