"Cell is definitely not one to be reasoned with. The thought of that is non-existent." "Honestly the thought that you believed that Cell was worth the effort to talk with makes me sick." Vegeta exclaimed, shooting Will a smug face and crossing his arms. "Hmph."

@Hahli Nuva

Will narrowed her eyes at Vegeta, not liking his piss poor attitude.

"I don't know how you all do things here, but let's not jump to conclusions. I had to learn the hard way that shooting first and asking questions later could lead to devastating consequences. If there's even a chance that Cell could be redeemed, we need to take it."

Will knew the chances of that had to be slim. But, could this entire conflict possibly be resolved with a few words?

"Hah! A wasted effort. The only thing that Cell needs to have redeemed, is his death, sent back to Hell!" "Ahem." Piccolo exclaimed as he butted in. "Don't mind Vegeta. His pride makes him an irritation to be with." "Only because my pride makes me worthy of a Prince. Hmph. Whatever. I'll just be waiting for something to happen. You peons can continue your squabbling."

"Listen. I understand that you have good intentions, but Cell is not someone who can be redeemed as you say. He's a monster, nothing more. He considers everyone inferior to his "Perfection" and won't hesitate to kill." Piccolo then looked towards the cast. "If you want my opinion, I think our current group has more than enough potential to eliminate Cell, but it's safe to assume that Cell has outside power. I can feel it... It's incredible."

@Hahli Nuva

Will narrowed her eyes at the ghostly newcomer, not liking his aura one bit. He stank of darkness and evil. The Keeper frowned and felt Quintessence jolt through her veins.

"You seem lost, spirit. Perhaps you need an escort to the Underworld?"

@Ver @Raynar Saassin @CrunchyCHEEZIT @Anybody

"Hss. . .as if I'd have that luxury," the stranger responded to Will while ignoring Saitama's dismissive comment. The Keeper could indeed sense a sinister aura wrapped about the undead creature's form, but that knowledge wouldn't do anything to keep it at bay. The fallen warrior lurched forward and released his grip on the scythe, causing it to float in the air like a ghost.

"I am Specter Knight."

So begins the tale.

It’s been. . .well, who knows how long?

The concept of time has been completely lost on the knight, ever since the end of his pointless journey. The days, months or even years that passed since he left the Tower of Fate were of no importance because the idea of becoming both warden and prisoner of the Lich Yard for an eternity was enough to banish any hope of being released.

The most exciting things that have happened since then are brief moments when Specter Knight affirms that he can still think - but he doesn’t think about much after that. Memories playing on repeat. The cauldron of grief bubbling. Brief streaks of emotion trying to see some sunlight but failing to do so. Thoughts about how sharp his scythe is.

The monotony of undeath, given a pitiful and tragic avatar.

Will sighed softly, pushing aside her agitation for Vegeta's arrogance. If she really had to, she would aid in not just killing Cell, but erasing him from existence forever.

The Keeper decided to let things play out for now. If she needed to really flex her magical might, she would. Hopefully, she wouldn't need to erase anyone else but Cell.

"Very well. Then what's your plan?"

@Raynar Saassin

Gully slammed her fists together, as she walked up to the group.

"It seems we've found ourselves in quite the predicament. If we're going to be fighting together then we should have some ground rules."

@Ver @Raynar Saassin @Donder172 @CrunchyCHEEZIT @Gummi Bunnies
"I have one rule at the moment. These men are under my command. They follow my orders." Maria said to Gully.

"Cell is definitely not one to be reasoned with. The thought of that is non-existent." "Honestly the thought that you believed that Cell was worth the effort to talk with makes me sick." Vegeta exclaimed, shooting Will a smug face and crossing his arms. "Hmph."

@Hahli Nuva
"So the usual scum we have in the Wasteland..." Maria said bluntly. Except this was not a gang member, super mutant, mutated wildlife or the Enclave. "Too bad the Enclave blew up Liberty Prime." Maria muttered after a moment.

"Put 'President' behind his name I think a lot of people in the Wasteland will mistake him as the leader of the Enclave." Maria said, before she remembered that most people would have no idea what she is talking about.

"As much as it looks bad, my son Trunks is a capable fighter. Everyone who underestimates him are weaklings. He will be the best, and honour his heritage as a Saiyan." "Dad, stop, you're embarrassing me. And you still need to honour your promise to take me to an Amusement Park."

"It's nice to have pride in your lineage, but too much of it makes one vain. Your arrogance will likely be your downfall no doubt." Lukas spoke up. That was the only two cents he was throwing in there though. No one cared for an arrogant ruler, Princes that were more humble were the ones best remembered. He didn't comment on being called a Peon, it could.just be added to the list of insults he's faced.

"Hehehe..."

"How wonderful...I can do nothing but want to cut you. With something that will not die no matter what before me, I cannot help burning up..."

A lover's quarrel.

One party was the God of the Sword, Soujirou Mibu. The other was the Goddess of Possibility, Shiori Kujou. A being who cut through everything against a being who manipulated what was possible for herself. Soujirou ensured with his godhood that everything could be cut and the goddess ensured with hers that she could not possibly be cut. Each was a Law beyond that of reality, overriding anything that would oppose their personal truths. How could two such contradictory Laws exist?

They couldn't. This was the essence of their nature as Gudou Gods. The only things that changed were those they came into contact with. They were personal truths. Personal Laws. So long as the two never made contact, the two contradictory Laws could both "exist" within the two gods.

Yet they were clashing. The two Laws reached for each other. Yearned for each other. Loved each other. Killed each other. Thus, their making contact was unavoidable. These two gods weighed too heavily upon all existence, which could not bear such a contradiction.

Therefore, the world had to give way in an attempt to save itself. Both godhoods vanished, preserving the delicate paper of all reality as they forced themselves apart.

The Goddess moved toward a certain possibility, appearing atop a certain tall structure.

"We sure got a lot of different kinds of people here, don't we?"

eCNq2lv.png

A woman's voice rang out confidently toward those gathered near the home denizens of this world. She crossed her arms and grinned widely, seeming fairly relaxed considering the situation.

"Name's Shiori Kujou. I don't know much about this 'Cell' business, but what can I say? Curiosity's a killer. From what I'm hearing, I'm guessing we're assembling a crew to fight some kind of monster. Sounds straightforward enough, but who's the commander then? It's looking like it'll take someone real charismatic to lead a rowdy group like this."

Shiori specifically eyed Specter Knight and Will as apparently their auras weren't jiving or something. Her own aura or whatever they wanted to call it however...was non-existent. Or rather, "undefined." Attempting to sense her through supernatural means felt more like looking in a house of mirrors filled with smoke than anything else, as though her existence itself was a haze, escaping definition.

"So let's not be sending our own teammates to the underworld. That's a little hasty, don't you think?"

Will closed her eyes, feeling The Heart pinpoint Shiori's aura. While most deities would have trouble finding such a powerful persona, Will's mastery of Quintessence and the fabric of the Multiverse itself allowed her to see what many missed. Will spoke out to Shiori much in the same way that she had addressed the others.

"Ah. A fellow Goddess. I felt your arrival when the universal plane shifted...."

"No, Aigis, we aren't going into Tartarus, wherever that is. We're just going into this room to train. Be careful though. As Ben has discovered, gravity is a bit stronger here. Be careful, both you and Asuha. Stiles... You seem like you can handle it."

"You wouldn't believe my emo phase. I dyed black streaks in my hair, and wore cloaks everywhere for some reason. It was kind of embarassing,"
Mason said, forgetting that his 'emo phase' extended up through the events of the Coalition Civil War. He had a hint that this creature before him wasn't Stiles, but he wasn't going to call the kitsune out just yet.

"How long has it been since then? It might be time for my birthday soon. Multiverse time makes 'years' a confusing concept."

"But, anyway, let's get to training!"

Mason led the group of Aigis, "Stiles," and Asuha into the Time Chamber. Stepping in, Mason's knees almost buckled under the pressure. "Yeah, I can feel that gravity." Slowly, Mason began to get used to the gravity, and step by step got better at walking. However, this was clearly already starting to strain his body.

"So, Ben, let's see what your new form can do." Mason's necklace glowed and in his hands appeared a shield. "Gimme a punch right here."

@Raynar Saassin @Crow @Minerva @Lucky

The little Saiyan starts the offense off. He charges forward, disappearing and reappearing, before unleashing a really strong punch upon Mason.

"Alright, I'd say this is above an Ultimate Humungousaur punch and below a Laservision one. Huh... that's a huge gap. Mason, are you alright? Apparently this guy packs a bit too serious of a punch."

Aigis just shook her head. "I'm sorry, no." she said.

@Anyone

Gully walked up to the gathered women, frowning at how much older they looked. She knew that she shouldn't be so nervous. It was just meeting new people was never her strong suit.

"Um... hello..."

"This isn't all fake. This is all real. I can assure you of that." Dende exclaimed, looking towards Armstrong, helping him out. "We're all real."

"Urgh..." Vegeta exclaimed with a snarl. He wanted so badly just to punch this guy in the face, but at this time, he didn't.

"Oh jeez. Listen, everything is going to be fine. We just need to assess the situation and come up with a plan." Piccolo exclaimed as he greeted Lumine gently.

"Hmph. What, you don't like what you see?" Vegeta exclaimed, catching Luka's entry and him frowning at everyone present.

"We'll all be working together to take down Cell. However if we know him enough, we may need to go through a tournament to face him." Dende exclaimed, informing everyone what's going on.

"Hmph. A Super Saiyan is the legendary warrior of the Saiyan Race, a finer warrior, the ultimate warrior in fact!" Vegeta exclaimed in a cocky attitude.

"That's Vegeta. The so-called Prince of all Saiyans. I'd be careful around him, he's too mentally unstable." Piccolo explained to Ben, crossing his arms. "I heard that, Namekian."

That was when Piccolo overheard the conversation between Asuha and Mason, and walked over to them:

"Your secret is safe with me. Trust me."

"(Interesting... She's certainly one to accessorise...)" Piccolo exclaimed, looking towards Eliza. "(However, that couldn't possibly be what I'm feeling from her... I think I need to keep an eye on this one.)"

A throaty growl rattled from deep inside Armstrong. He had dealt with politicians, world leaders, conmen, generals and thieves his whole life long, and by doing so, he had learned to find a falsehood from a mile off - and there wasn't a glimmer of a lie in Dende's face. He was telling the truth - or at least he believed that he was - and that was enough for Steven to at least consider the possibility of this 'Cell' figure existing.

"Fine... Say that I do believe you... What is this Cell guy doing now? If he's blowing up planets then maybe we should waste less time gassing and more time fighting."
