"Hehehe..."
"How wonderful...I can do nothing but want to cut you. With something that will not die no matter what before me, I cannot help burning up..."
A lover's quarrel.
One party was the God of the Sword, Soujirou Mibu. The other was the Goddess of Possibility, Shiori Kujou. A being who cut through everything against a being who manipulated what was possible for herself. Soujirou ensured with his godhood that everything could be cut and the goddess ensured with hers that she could not possibly be cut. Each was a Law beyond that of reality, overriding anything that would oppose their personal truths. How could two such contradictory Laws exist?
They couldn't. This was the essence of their nature as Gudou Gods. The only things that changed were those they came into contact with. They were personal truths. Personal Laws. So long as the two never made contact, the two contradictory Laws could both "exist" within the two gods.
Yet they were clashing. The two Laws reached for each other. Yearned for each other. Loved each other. Killed each other. Thus, their making contact was unavoidable. These two gods weighed too heavily upon all existence, which could not bear such a contradiction.
Therefore, the world had to give way in an attempt to save itself. Both godhoods vanished, preserving the delicate paper of all reality as they forced themselves apart.
The Goddess moved toward a certain possibility, appearing atop a certain tall structure.

"We sure got a lot of different kinds of people here, don't we?"
A woman's voice rang out confidently toward those gathered near the home denizens of this world. She crossed her arms and grinned widely, seeming fairly relaxed considering the situation.
"Name's Shiori Kujou. I don't know much about this 'Cell' business, but what can I say? Curiosity's a killer. From what I'm hearing, I'm guessing we're assembling a crew to fight some kind of monster. Sounds straightforward enough, but who's the commander then? It's looking like it'll take someone real charismatic to lead a rowdy group like this."
Shiori specifically eyed Specter Knight and Will as apparently their auras weren't jiving or something. Her own aura or whatever they wanted to call it however...was non-existent. Or rather, "undefined." Attempting to sense her through supernatural means felt more like looking in a house of mirrors filled with smoke than anything else, as though her existence itself was a haze, escaping definition.
