The technology advanced a lot after the 4th Shinobi War. Most things are at modern level now. Technological advancements in medicine and surgery left it possible to get limbs replaced with either organic limbs or prosthetics. Other benefits of this advancement is that some wounds that were previously deadly are now not as life threatening. Technological advancements in commerce has made it possible to travel by train and other methods of transportation. Advancements in everyday things has made a number of things, like TV, games, ect. possible. Advancements in the technology used in the trades have made construction work faster and safer.
Though there have been some advances in the technology used to make weapons, they haven’t advanced as much as everything else. While everything else has advanced to the modern era, weapons have only advanced to the industrial era. Though there are a few things in this field that are modern such as chakra readers that analyze a person's chakra nature and the amount of chakra they have, and body enhancements. Weaponry itself though now have crossbows, kunai and shuriken throwers, and other weapons of similar nature.
