Family:

Brother - Maximus - Deceased

Wife - Dawn - Deceased

Son - Augustus - Deceased

Daughter - Julia - Deceased

Grandson - Lucius (14)

Personality: Quiet and reserved, often doesn't speak. Patient and meticulous. Detached and unemotional, he has very few relationships that go beyond rank. He is extremely loyal to Marcus Aarluanus, but perhaps even more so to his son Leonitus.

History: When Guias was 4, his parents died in a fire, many believed to be started by the Florets. This left Maximus, his older brother who was only 15, to become the new head of the house. When Guias turned 19, his brother took him hunting. When Guias returned days later, his only had his brothers cape, which he had wrapped around his waist. They had been encamped at the bank of the Magnus when a vicejaw attacked. Some say Guias’ entire back is covered in scars from the beast, others say the beast was a myth, and he killed his brother for the title, but only Guias himself really knows. At 22 years old, Guias married Dawn, with whom he had twins Augustus and Julia. Though his marriage was loveless and political, Guias felt no greater joy than when he first held his children. And 15 years later, that same feeling returned when his son Augustus and his wife had a child of their own, Lucius. For a short moment in his life, Guias was an incredibly joyous man, until everything was taken from him. Guias was playing with his grandson who was a toddler, when he smelled smoke. He quickly grabbed the boy and went for the door. It had been locked from the outside. Guias saw smoke rising from underneath the door. His face filled with horror as he looked through the window and saw the entire keep ablaze. In that moment he made a choice, and launched himself through the window with Lucius in his arms. Thankfully the boy landed on him, and not the other way around. As guards and spectators gathered outside the burning keep, Guias only sat and held the sobbing boy, looking stone faced into that fire that consumed his family. After that night Guias was a different man. He stopped speaking almost entirely for a year. He became obsessed with strategy, and began reading much more. He would spend any spare time reading books written by past commanders, or stories of great battles and how they were won. His mind became a deadlier weapon than his hammer, which hasn't seen much action lately.

Height: 5’8

Weight: 140

Family:

Father - Augustus - Deceased

Mother - Camilla - Deceased

Grandfather - Gaius (51)

Personality: Rather cheerful and relaxed, his smile is known as one the most contagious throughout the realm. In combat, his demeanor becomes more focused, but he still maintains his joyful attitude. Though a somewhat skilled swordsman, his passion and talent lies with smithing.

History: Lucius is the only known heir of the Brunedon family line. His parents suffered the same fate as his great grandparents, perishing in a fire. Lucius barely remembers his parents, his greatest influence in life is his grandfather. Their relationship is unusual, to put it lightly. The two share a deep bond founded in loss, and the two can communicate with each other through a means of winks and nods. As a young boy, he followed his grandfather everywhere, the barracks, the library, even the battlefield when he reached 11, not because he was skilled, but no one wanted to tell his grandfather he couldn't bring the boy. Lucius himself didn't fight until he was 13, though he has yet to slay another man. Lucius is well liked by soldiers and civilians alike. The young lord often spends his spare time at the forge, practicing and improving.
