The Evrensel Conflict The Evrensel Conflict -- Chapter 2: Fire and Sand

"Never better," Ben responds, "I'm all in one piece, and so is my Omnitrix."

"There is little than can be done regarding contributions, although, there was a mention of a time vortex that was causing her fading life force. None of my authorities encompass time itself, or any significant aspect of it, unfortunately," Athena speaks.

"But one of mine does!" Ben adds. "once we head to the village and put her head on a pillow, I'll do what I can. I think I have just the alien to fix her up."

"What can a mortal race do in such a situation?" Athena questioned Ben.

"A mortal race with superpowers."

"Yes, yes, of course," Athena sarcastically responds, before turning to Alistia. "I am what is known as a Heretic God. While I am not a Cleric myself, Clerics & Priests have borrowed mere fractions of the power of my various names in ancient ages."

@Donder172 @Snowtwo @Raffia Kiryuin @etcetcetc
"Don't underestimate what people are capable of. You'll be quite surprised." Mizelia said to Athena before looking at Xiao "Maybe I cannot prevent it, but perhaps I can help to slow it down. It might be just enough to do to help her." she then added. She might be capable of helping Xiao a little bit with the Force.

"I sense life force there, yes. Naturally, I am capable of seeing the spirits that hold fading life force, but I cannot see these in particular. Perhaps the phenomenom is beyond the concepts either of us are familiar with, or just incompatible."

Athena chose to turn away from the area and look at Xiao in her arms."

"I definitely feel their link to the girl, though. These spirits are allies."
"Hmm... I do not see spirits, though I can faintly sense something. But I cannot bring to what it is. It might be the spirits you're referring to, but I might be wrong." Mizelia said as she pondered on the statement of Athena and herself. She wasn't entirely sure what she felt, but the more she heard, the more she started to belief it were the spirits. It could be possible she sensed them through the Force.

"A cleric's weapon is best made by one who is attuned to the aspects of nature," Athena proclaims as she raises a great chunk of rock from the ground, before inserting her hand into the rock. The rock shattered, unveiling a dense, earthly staff, with the upper end resembling a serpent's head holding a crystal ball in its fanged maws.

The staff levitated for brief moments as runes were imprinted into its sides. It gradually floated down onto Alistia's hands.

"Euryales Sthenos. That is the name I have given this staff. Don't need to thank me. These are crafted from the uglier, darker tales that the Greeks have associated my alternate names with. I have translated some of my authorities into spells a mortal can use while holding this staff, as a bonus to any spells you know via memory."

Athena then turns to Mundi.

"I believe that any other weapons should be up to you. I was not known for metallurgy, after all. The village has farming equipment and tools that to be used for your weapon-making. The soil in the village has enough minerals to mine proper alloy prerequisites."
Mizelia looks with curiosity at the creation of the staff. Seemingly surprised as well at the display. "Hmm... would you by any chance be capable of creating lightsaber components? I have my own crystal, but it's useless without casing. So is the casing useless without the crystal." Mizelia asked Athena after hearing her description of the staff. "Lightsaber components themselves can be made of almost any material, as long as they can take on the stress and their components requirements. So no wood, unless it's as strong Brylark Wood. Which is probably highly unlikely to find in a village."

Hearing the word lighsaber and components Xenons interest spiked as she looked over to Mizelia. "Dont trust saber creation to those that don't even know what it is. Making lighsabers however is my specialty... Along with archeology and all that other Sith crap." As she spoke she approached Mizelia. "While brykark is specific to only one world im sure there is an hardwood equivalent here too." Looking over to Athena now she added. "Sure you can make a rock staff sabers got far more to them than you can make or even hope to comprehend."

He decided to let others reach the group ahead of him. Well aware the humanoid behaviour reacted better at other humanoids. And he could better study everyone this way.
His one big eye sensor locked on Athena as she moved, analysing the speed and shifts in central balance. Her ability to move at such speed and a subroutine for tracking and analysing the pattern and source of it was quickly set.
"Strife" he stated plainly not even looking in their direction but still paying attention to what was said. All while they neared the group. "Fool around all you like" he began with his head turned eyeing their surroundings since he could see above everyone and the Tardis. "But don't keep me stuck on babysitting you, with the current rate of individual arrival you are quite replaceable." The tall machine turned it's head looking directly at Lera, it's artificial voice stiff and dark.

It then turned it's attention to what the doctor was doing and stood still for a moment sensors humming. [priority subject located. Objective update - Secure and escort]
before walking up towards this doctor. "It seems the group has mainly reformed, i suggest relocating back to the village again, do you require aid in moving your vessel?"

Alistia took the staff, looking at it for a moment with one hand, being careful. Athena was a false god. A primal, yet offered a staff. She then looked to Terra as well. For a brief second the image of an elzen woman flickered before her eyes, the memory of a friend long since past. Slowly she gripped the staff with both her hands, holding it close to her as she let her mind flow, feeling the staff's attunement to the elements as she stopped healing Xiao for a second. Then she opened her eyes up slowly as she brought the staff around, moving in a circle as aether started to flow from its head before raising it up high.

"CURE!" she cried out as a surge of healing energy, stronger than the minimal healing she had managed before, shot towards Xiao. Earth, wind, water, succor, all suddenly seemed to harmonize within her for a second despite the ravishes of time; healing her as small lily's of earth seemed to arise around Alistia. Quickly she brought it around again in a similar motion, this time with a brighter light flowing forth. "CURE II!" she called out as a powerful surge burst forwards, stronger than even the first one, right into Xiao and the arena around her seemed to grow verdant despite the sands. Once more she brought the staff back around, practically glowing with aetherial light. "CURE III!" she cried out once more as healing shot into Xiao, slightly weaker, but this time Alistia herself and those whom were about five feet or so away from her would feel the surge as well and a practical flowerbed surrounded Alistia's feet.

Smiling with satisfaction she then brought the staff around, this time holding it up high as the aetherial light spread out. "Medica!" she said as she held it aloft instead of bringing it back down. Suddenly to all within the area, all whom she considered friends, healing energy seemed to well up inside of them for a brief moment. She repeated the motion except, instead of a mere light, the blast of healing energy seemed to blast outwards as if an explosion. "MEDICA II!" Those same who had felt the healing, earth, wind, water, and succor, stabalizing would feel it once more, except this time lingering around as she finished. She then closed her eyes as she raised her left hand upwards and a purple light seemed to envelope her.

"Lucid dreaming." she said in a soft mumble as her eyelids closed and her body relaxed, as if sleeping. To those whom could sense the aether, however, it was clear she was not napping but, rather, gathering ambiant aether back into her form. Once finished she pointed to Xiao once more. "Tetragrammaton." she said simply as she threw up her hands into the air as pure succor and elemental power flowed into her. The lily's at her feet seemed to wilt and vanish away, not dead but, rather, having given themselves willingly to heal Xiao. Then she slowly brought it around, practically tracing along the ground with its head, a trail of aether behind it that suddenly burst outwards into a glowing, shimmering, dome healing all within. "Asylum!" The dome lingered as the air became heavy with succor. Her feet moved deftly, spinning faster and faster as her staff seemed to whirl about in rapid spins, light flowing from it that seemed to ripple outwards, harmonizing the land and bringing life to all around it as she moved. "Assize!" Then, stopping, she pointed at Xiao once more. "Benediction!" Green energy and orbs of air circled above her as more light rolled off and a singular, massive, burst of succor shot into her. Easily among the most powerful forces of healing around. Seemingly satisfied she then looked to Athena.

Raising it up and dropping back as she ran her hands over the head of the staff, orbs of earth energy seemed to circle around her before the light shone once again and a hexegonal, transparent, barrier around not only around her but all others, clearly warding them from harm. She then whirled about and leaped upwards, spinning about as water seemed to envelop her in a whirl before it vanished away and a second barrier appeared around the false goddess.

"This staff... is a great gift. Were I to reforge Thyrus I would be eternally greatful but this will be my arm, my life, to protect all within Eorzea and ward it against evil."

Athena then turns to Mundi.

"I believe that any other weapons should be up to you. I was not known for metallurgy, after all. The village has farming equipment and tools that to be used for your weapon-making. The soil in the village has enough minerals to mine proper alloy prerequisites."
"Ummm... Alistia?" said Neptune, jumping off of Vert for a second. "I can't help but remember that you... lost your staff. Mundi's offering to make a new one for you. I think that might be a bit important."
"I can only wield a staff formed from nature itself, in which life and the elements flow. If Mundi can make me one, that would be of great assistance."

"Great!" said Neptune with a smile before turning to Mundi. "If you can, I'd like a nice, big, two-handed sword! I'll keep the baton around for when I gotta stun some mooks, but a proper sword for cutting would be great."

Mundi angled down to the sand and geode fabricating a palm-sized scale model of a two handed sword. It was mostly a firmly concreted white siltstone for its main mass and a citrine edge. The parrying hooks were entirely faceted shards above the ricasso grip above the pommel.

Mundi offered the model up to Neptune, "Yeah! Once I get some metal I can make you full scale Zweihänder!"

It looked between Neptune and Athena, "The ONI nanofabrication engineers had to make functional ceremonial weapons for covert use. A few of my engineers wrote a complement of classical weaponry too! Solid low-adaptive masses are easy to store."

The small droid mimes by clasping one hand then shaking it and releasing, "I play their role playing games sometimes! The spartans prefer machetes or boring combat knives in real combat though."

@Snowtwo @Crow

Negative twelfth, now easily seen by those not in its inner loop, inspected Mizelia and Xenon with a long empty-faced gaze. It had a fairly good idea what the red one Xenon came from. Thanks to Mundi's habits of consorting with nerdery there was a fair selection of social data available to look through. The idea of a contained plasma sword proved interesting. The machine, by the name of Strife apparently, seemed a likely candidate for the earlier scan compared to other options. The robots didn't demonstrate anything resembling subtlety.

The hollow-faced locus of an extradimensional AI looked at Strife, "Interesting. You can call me Negative Twelfth. I would make an educated guess that we've laid awareness on each other before by proxy. Whatever sort of manifold is making it larger on the inside without a core to offset the likely extreme inertia I would be quite impressed if you can move it at all."

[Alicia]
"Err that felt weirdly great" the girl commented as wave after wave of refreshing energy flowed over her. For a moment forgetting the new arrivals at the display.
"Soo i have a feeling you guys saw a similar green light that we saw before being tossed into a random place" Walking up to a woman on horse wearing a strange clothing and a weird dark gun on her thigh. "Names Alicia by the way"

@Steely

[Strife]
Turning he looked at the hologram tilting his head to observe the small robot behind it. A brief strong light shot out analysing it's composition detecting the dimensional shifts. Piles of data shaping into data projections leading him furhter out. "The scan earlier" he stated shortly recognising it and this time close enough to be able to ignore possible countermeasures.

Four new objects fired out from the robots back. Landing in a square around the Tardis. This analysis took sometime in his own standards but fractions of a second for the surrounding observers. "Indeed that is outside my abilities"
They really should get going back to the village now. He sent ahead a new request for increased water extraction for the increased group of biologicals.
"As for the groups lack of weaponry" Strife turned his head towards the Mundi unit. "A mass extractor is set up at the village, it's current supply might suffice for your production." Strife handed over a small data orb to the machine for fast communication.

Lincoln Campbell, Cameron Black, " Cameron Black", Black Bolt and Scott McCall

Lincoln didn't know what to say and he looked over at the others and shrugged, before he decided to ask. " So, since all of us are together, maybe we should head back to the village."

" What could-," Johnathan placed a hand over Cameron's mouth before that sentence can be finished.

" My other half is a bit reckless, so I would advise that we hurry back before he does anything that might kill him. He lives for finding danger in unexpected places."

"
I second going back." Black Bolt nodded in agreement.

"Hmm... Do you have the components to build a lightsaber then? If so, are you willing to give them to a Jedi? If you can give me the required components, maybe I could make a new hilt myself. It's not that difficult to make, just time-consuming." Mizelia asked the Sith. Part of her wasn't sure if this was the best idea. "And well, my own hilt is made out of Brylark wood."

"Brylark is the one thing i dont really have...I know you don't trust me so im gonna put an entire saber together for you while you watch yourself...no dirty tricks from me." She said while looking into her inventory with the help of a tiny drone basically giving her an ui of what she has. Tapping on her chin she looked over the materials then Mizelia, noting her body build. Choosing some bits that are more suited for her by picking out some that are as light as they can be while a couple were actually pretty darn heavy for their size.

Putting in an lens assembly inside a round thin frame as soon as the drone dropped them into her hands she requested an safety switch and an activation plate soon followed by a colored beam crystal. She knew jedi hated the red ones so she took the next best thing a green crystal instead and put that in jsut behind the lens assembly. a power source want int he pommel with an recharge socket at the very end of it. Using the force she lifted up a conduit and attached all of the components while leaving room for Mizelias focus crystal which would rest within the focus matrix that went in last and was also connected to the conduit using the force.

"And there you go. Just slot your own crystal in that emitter matrix and you're ready to go. even without a hand grip it will turn on." Said xenon as she handed over the half finished yet functional lightsaber. As Mizelia n doubt would be inspecting it she would find that the lightsaber was very modular in design and still had some open places for 'aftermarket' upgrades. It was obvious that lightsabers were extremely common for the time where Xenon came from. If she turned on the saber the things blade at first would extend to being as long as 5 feet before shrinking down to match the users body the best.

Mizelia looks up with a frown before observing the woman carefully as she assembles the lightsaber. Noticing all the items she had with her. Seemingly surprised at it. Also noticing the green crystal, which raised questions as how she obtained those. Looking at the hilt as it is given to her.

As Xenon predicted, Mizelia did inspect the lightsaber carefully. Not just with her eyes, but also through the Force. Trying to sense if the object was infused with the Dark Side of the Force. Noticing also the modular design of the lightsaber, seemingly allowing for more to add. Perhaps a lock so only she can activate it? Or perhaps a way to use it underwater. After seemingly being satisfied with her inspection, she takes her crystal and places it in the lightsaber. The crystal itself is blue of color. After doing this, she activates the lightsaber and gives it a few swings after testing its weight a bit. "Hmm... interesting. There is a lot of room left to add to the lightsaber. And without a handgrip, are you talking about telekinesis?"

"I honestly don't know...am i not supposed to be able to bend like this?" Xiao asked a little confused as Aang tried and tried again yet failed even came close to popping a blood vessel but still not even a grain of sand moved. Looking at the doc search his pockets she though of something she saw him use before. a weird screwdriver thing. just imagining it and it appeared in her hand. "thats a weird thing..." She shrugged and tossed it into the sand only for the doc to pick it up once it became visible to him. "I am honestly as clueless as you with this... how do i even call you?" She asked before walking over to Aang to pat him on the back. "Im avatar Xiao." The girl introduced herself.

This thing was indeed becoming weirder by the moment. Xiao could only speculate that he was some sort of a future incarnation of her as none of the past ones matched him...

@Bobby the Prussian

"I'm Aang! Nice to meet you." He said, giving that big ol' smile to Xiao again.

While Mundi and the Doctor talked, Alec kept an eye on Xiao. She was breathing normally, and her glowing eyes faded in and out of brightness through her eyelids. She looked tranquil, though if she woke, god only knows how much pain she would be in. His attention to the young avatar however suddenly was interrupted by a flash in his eye. Not the same green one they all keep seeing, it was like a reflection of sun light. When looking over, he saw someone in the distance on a dune, holding up something reflective. Alec quickly got to his feet. "Doc! Contact!" He yelled, making the Doctor first turn to Alec, then to the stranger. "He doesn't look armed." He commented, backing up to the Timelord.

The stranger put away the reflective glass and walked down the dune towards them. As he approached, he was easier to see with the sun not in their eyes. It was an old man in high class military gear, heavy duty kevlar armor, with a pistol holstered to his hip and a machine gun mounted on his back by a strap. "Oh, he is armed......... Sorry." Alec apologized. "Are you The Doctor?" The old man asked when close enough.

The Doctor looked hesitant to answer, but did so anyway. "Yes. And who might you be?" He asked cautiously. "I'm Sam Fisher, Athena's with me." He pointed over to the brunt lady in armor who'd recognize Sam. He was leading the search party to find the others. "We're taking you back to a village not too far from here. Got food and water, along with medical supplies for your wounded." Sam explained.

"Take it you're not from the same universe as her?" Doctor asked, meaning Athena. "Only known her a few days, our group met in Jerusalem last week."

"Jerusalem? We're in Israel?" Alec asked.

"Sinai. Couple miles from the peninsula." Same answered.

"Which iiiisss?....."

"... Egypt. Near Cairo."

"Ah, okay. Never been."

"I can tell." Sam remarked. "Unless you wanna cook out in the sun, best you pick her up and we head on back. Someone wants to meet you." He looked to the Doctor when he said the last part.

"Who?" He asked back.

"Woman named Rose Tyler, says she knows you." That immiedatley got the Doctor's attention, as he yelled back, "Rose?!" Even with the universe jumping and meeting so many people from different places, the chances that Rose would be caught up in this.... Actually seemed very likely the more he thought about it. Cue the music!

"Who's Rose?" Alec asked, picking up Xiao and carrying her fireman style. ".... Old friend." The Doctor simply answered. "C'mon, we're following him." Alec was gonna do that anyway, it was why he started carrying Xiao. "What about the TARDIS?" He asked.

"We'll leave it here. It's locked and without power, it's not going anywhere."

Sam turned on his radio and called out to everyone in the search group. "Alright, we got everybody rounded up. Let's head back and regroup." He ordered.

As the saber turned on and the blue with green mixed she did get an interesting combined saber color. An blue core saber with green glow surrounding it. "Dual crystal sabers are stronger than regular sabers by a fair margin. Traders give them orange or even purple quality... Built to be modular you can add in a better lens assembly replace the colored blade crystal add in a strength mod or an force activated enhancement." Xenon explained While still watching Mizelia take a few swings as they walked. "If you ever happen to run across another saber compatible with yours. on the pommel you'l notice the charging socket, it can also be sued to connect two together to form a double saber." Xenon shook as if she was cold in the middle of the desert, thinking that that was odd did she hit a cold patch of something?
@Donder172

"Aang...You dont look like any of the avatars that came before me that i know of. Its nice to meet you regardless im Avatar Xiao." She replied to him while watching what the people were doing around them. some of their gazes falling upon her or Aang for a while before trailing off. one even took a wide berth around them both except for the red skinned one that walked straight through her. "Huh? so they cant see us? interesting..." She noted that down. Moving across the sands to follow towards the village Xiao didn't walk. instead from her perspective the world itself was moving around her instead.

Mizelia looks towards the blade with a curious expression. "Hmm... that's new..." she stated at the color of the blade. "No idea why giving color quality, but each crystal has their own properties as well regarding the material it is made from. Like Kyber Crystals. But each also has subclasses of material made. And while it would be interesting to use a saberstaff, I have never done so in my life. So I doubt that would be useful for me." she added as she notices Xenon shivering. "Are you okay, Xenon?" she asked.

"Nothing...don't worry bout it just a cold patch. those tend to happen around deserts." She looked over tot eh spot one last time before continuing to speak. "Its usually just a way to grade their value in an unofficial manner...its mostly a merchant thing as far as i can understand it." Xenon explained about the colored qualities. "A shame saberstaves are really useful when you got those pesky droids from Taris bugging you."

Lera Mishnev and Leon Quinn - Main Group, Merging with Smaller Group - Sinai

The machine, now known to Lera by the name of Strife, made a retort to her little quips that genuinely amused her this time around, the air of truth to his words is what sold it for her, even Leon saw the funny side. "Hey, you're not wrong about the amount of guys, girls and all others between arriving! But there's only one of me, Strife~" Lera replied, then brushed past Strife's shoulder as she laid down her conclusion. "If it's too taxing watching over these clowns, I'll lend you a hand, yes?" She spoke with quite the cheek in her voice, prior to her heading down with he and the others to group up with more people, ones that those present in their conglomeration seemed to know from events before her arrival.

"That girl, upon the ground...I can feel a great amount of power within." Leon noted, though he had felt its presence from beyond the several miles they just had to traverse, the feeling was evermore palpable now. "She's dying. That power's tearing her apart, how did this happen?" He added, even as she was being picked up and they followed Sam Fisher. Lera however, simply punched him upon the shoulder lightly, tsking away. "Now now, Leon, dying or not, they're sure to have good reason as to her condition, no?" Then she looked to Alec, then The Doctor. "Right?" Lera added in a surprising bout of seriousness with her only visible facial feature, her glowing crimson eyes, narrowing into a glare.

Lord Horus, Iron Lord of Eternal Radiance - Nearby - Sinai

Awakening in a rather undignified position in the middle of a desert, Iron Lord Horus picked himself up in short order, wiping the sand from his visor and robes and looking around, then to the skies. The Warlock was utterly befuddled, squinting under his helmet, then sharply looking to his left. "Ghost?" He called, followed by said Ghost appearing next to him...to his right.

"Guardian?" His Ghost replied, the hovering drone-like being observing their surroundings with his singular eye. "Where, are we now?" Ghost quizzed, seeming a little done in, believing Horus to have screwed something up in their transmat. Horus simply sighed in defeat, shaking his head. "I was about to ask you the very same...it's not either of our faults, I'm sure of it, so don't look at me with that tone of voice, Little Light." Horus expressed his dismay, taking a short walk ahead, but stopping and signalling his Ghost to do the same with a raised fist, which then opened up. "Binoculars, please." His Ghost then materialized a pair from Horus's inventory into his open hand. "Thanks." He then put them to his eyes, allowing him a closer look at what he had caught a glimpse of: A massive gathering of people, all different shapes, sizes and creeds...why?

"Ghost...are you seeing this?" Horus questioned, his Ghost also taking a closer look. "Yep, that is quite the variety I'm seein'. Initial scans read...cybernetics, healing powers, a binary vascular system now that one's a doozy, um...Traveler's Light?" The Ghost analysed, sounding shocked upon uttering the last result, to which Horus replied with a somewhat frantic scan with his Binoculars, stopping short when he saw what appeared to be a Hunter, female, couldn't tell if she was an Exo, Human or Awoken from this distance but the armour seemed familiar. "That's another Guardian, Ghost. Amongst all those people...? Well!" Lord Horus handed the Binoculars to Ghost, who put them away for him before he stood from his crouch as his aura of Radiance perked up more than usual.

"Let's go meet them, shall we?" Lord Horus proposed, but didn't wait for his Ghosts answer before taking off toward them. "Someone's eager..." Ghost uttered before disappearing back into Horus's "Backpack" as it were. Lord Horus quickened his approach by mixing his running with Warlock Glides, hastening his arrival before Sam Fisher, quickly clearing his throat and settling down. "Apologies for any shock, but I've also come to join your little escapade. Lord Horus, by the way." Horus introduced himself, with a short bow, his Ghost briefly popping out to say hello and retreating again while he did this.

Jedi Civil War? Well, where I'm from there are no pesky droids anymore. It's rebuilt." Mizelia said to Xenon "While it might be useful to have a saberstaff, it will do me no good when I have no experience or training in using them. I will more likely harm myself than anyone else."
