Name: Haniyya El-Amin
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Appearance: Haniyya is a very mature looking girl, looking as if she is in her early twenties. She stands at 5’10” and has a slim body type. She has a way of standing that seems to give off power, with a straight, strong back, legs hip width apart, and wide shoulders. When she’s standing still, she normally has her hands on her hips or her arms folded. She is of Arabic descent, originally coming from a small village not too far from Riyadh, and her heritage is clear on her face, with caramel skin, a long nose, close set dark brown eyes and a thin upper lip. She has a heart shaped face and eyebrows that are just a little close together. She wears a black, lacy hijab that hangs tight to her face and looser at the back, but underneath it she has dry, very dark brown hair that comes down to the middle of her back, but she ties it up into a bun to put on her hijab. Her hijab is fastened with oddly large safety pins. She wears somewhat frightening looking glasses with golden half-frames on the bottom. She wears a long-sleeved ocean blue shirt, a long black skirt and a pair of black pumps. She has a long henna tattoo covered by her shirt going up her left arm.
Personality: Haniyya is a strict and serious girl. She is very dedicated to her studies and to keeping her grades up, and is even willing to sacrifice other aspects of her life - hobbies, friends, family, etc. - to retain all A’s and make her family proud. This sacrificial aspect of her life comes through in other things apart from studying. She hates to take risks and prefers to stay safe and know what she is doing before she does it. She is neither an introvert or an extrovert, happy when she is alone but also happy when she is socialising with people. She has the attitude of an entrepreneur, being extremely polite and business-like in all interactions. She’s the kind of woman to hide problems and try and sort them herself, and rarely asks for help. In the face of failure, Haniyya panics and becomes distressed, praying fervently. She’s a very no-nonsense girl and has no qualms about slapping somebody who is getting flirty, obnoxious, or on her nerves in general. She tries to be friendly and calm like her Abettor, but struggles without Daniyah. When taken by surprise or when she becomes frightened, she freaks out.
Biography: Haniyya was born on the 2nd November, 1997. Her father was a business man and entrepreneur who was working and investing in the growing city of Dubai, so Haniyya was often at home alone with her mother, who didn’t work and simply raised Haniyya and her older brother Khayri. In the small neighbourhood they lived in, Haniyya’s mother was dissatisfied with not being able to work or drive, and also that her daughter couldn’t go to school, so she convinced her husband to let them move to America. Her father didn’t want to at first, but when her mother mentioned that Haniyya would have better opportunities in the US, he decided that it would be a good decision for them to go. They moved to New York when Haniyya was twelve, meaning that she had multiple years of education to catch up on. Her parents were relentless with her catching up on the work she missed, and she worked on the weekends and after school for hours and managed to catch up on the work in the course of a year and a half. She has always been very proud of this achievement, but the problem is that she’d now set herself a standard. Her parents constantly reminded her of the work that she did when she was young, which pressures her into doing the same. She needs her Abettor, Daniyah, to remind her to relax and take it easy, and always has.

She just prefers to take a calmer, more distant look at the situations. In the face of panic or troubles, she stands strong and unwavering and doesn't like to back down. When it seems like she doesn't care about what's going on, she's really just thinking it all through, exploring every single possibility in her head. In normal interactions, she is friendly and likes to crack a joke.

Ella “El” Lewis
Age: (11-18): 18
Gender: Female
Appearance: Long brown hair that twists to her shoulders, typically tied together into a loose ponytail, dyed with a faded colour of purple, combing through the back. Her eyes are a pallid tone of emerald; lacking any sharpness or hardness, suggesting she’s gentle and tender on the inside, whitish no matter what she does. In addition, she also bears a pale complexion, her aversion to the outdoors has only contributed to her paleness and resembling more like fallen snow, but her legs are all scratched and marked up, earlier days of ravaging through forests and adventures had taken its toll. A smaller scar runs from her neck and down to her shoulder, most noticeably when she doesn’t cover up the scar itself. Ella isn’t the tallest and neither the shortest, falling between five foot six, tall enough she isn’t hindered by shelves or what she calls her height, as well as possessing what she lovingly refers to her proud love handles, expanding her stomach slightly, with slender arms and legs. She typically wears long baggy white shirts or tops, with skinny jeans, she doesn’t bother to alternate between anything else, as well as a purple jacket, emphasising her hair a little more and one pierced ear.

Words are meaningless, considering she’s a connoisseur with her own spoken pallet and has been known to lie for any given advantage, as well as twisting stories or making up excuses, covering her own behind in the past. Regardless, she’s somewhat insecure about herself, lacking confidence and likes to make jokes in references to her own inferiority towards other, faults and flaws. She also holds ambitions to one day become a journalist.
Biography: Ella grew up in a household of five brothers, remarkably, she was the only girl to be born and thus, partially influenced some of her traits. She was the only girl and of course, she was spoiled to some extent, causing a small sibling rival amongst her house. Nonetheless, there wasn’t anything really wrong with her life, average arguments, passing between friends and she was rebellious, staying out late, drinking occasionally, but nothing that was ever too extreme. Her own confidence stems from her mother, always voicing disapproval over Ella’s choices, her mother had been a professional model in her younger days and was working part-time at a beauty parlour, she always encouraged Ella to be more feminine, although that only served to cause a rift between them. She moved out when she was sixteen, living with an older brother, the two had gotten along the most. She is also a voice of reason for her younger brothers.

Kain the Necromancer's Characters
Name: Kailey Livingston
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Appearance: Even though she rarely asserts herself, her overall features give off an intimidating vibe. She has a distinctively sharp face, with fierce grey eyes and narrow lips. Her straight, blond hair reaches down to her shoulders, with several strands that are dyed in different shades of pink and brown. There is a sense of intentional unruliness about her hair; it is clean yet disheveled, as if she takes her time to arrange it like that each morning. Her clothes does not help to improve her impression. Her pink hoodie is worn out, and her jeans are torn up in several places, but the conditions of these clothes look much less intentional. She wears an old running shoes. She is often slumped as if she has too much weight on her shoulders.
Personality: Kailey is the kind of person who follows her own interest. She acts as her desire dictates, bounded only by her eccentric sense of honor and fairness. Her actions mostly come off as thoughtless, but the truth is that she often thinks through what she wants to do and how she is going to do it very carefully - it's just that she doesn't care much about the consequences of her act. She is introspective, but she speaks out every once in a while when she feels like doing so. She is a bit distant and callous under stressful situations, as she is skilled at detaching herself from the situation she's stuck in.
Biography: She grew up in a relatively stable middle-class family. Her parents were well-respected professionals, and as an only child Kailey grew up with plenty of affection. As she grew up, however, she soon learned that her parents are very unforgiving when she falls short of their expectations. At first it was easy to please them, since their expectations were never too much for her to bear, but ever since she was ten years old she started to feel sort of... empty. She fell behind on schoolwork, gradually becoming less and less like the poster child she knew she could be. Her inexplicable emptiness grew stronger and stronger until she had to be hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital several times. She now attends a local rehabilitative school, and she has never fully reconciled with her parents, shutting off the possibility of the happiness she had experienced in her past.
Other: She changes her hairstyles every year. This year she decided to dye parts of her hair, only because Weston protested too much that she would be miserable too if she's the one who's stuck with "weirdly colored tufts". She just had to prove him wrong. She wants to work as a hair stylist one day, but keeps this as a secret. Her catchphrase is "I'm bored".

He loses bright colorings on his feet and beak, which turn dull yellow. The only difference from other puffins is that his tufts are dyed in a different color.
Personality: He's good-natured, but not very sociable. He's easygoing to a point where he comes off as lazy to others.
Powers: Hydrokinesis.
Other: He likes jokes but he can't crack one himself. To his great dismay, Kailey insists on dying his tuft every summer. Weston often doesn't let her do it, but she always finds a way.

He has heterochromia, which means that his eyes are around half brown and half blue. He has a few small scars spattered across his back and arms and a big scar that goes from his left shoulder down to his shoulder blade from an incident with his father. He usually covers it up though and never wears anything too revealing. Usually he wears a simple t-shirt (in pastel mostly) with something nerdy on it, or a button up shirt with a pair of skinny jeans. He trusts very few people, but is extremely loyal to those few. His presence is usually either very calming or upbeat and happy and he's very good at pushing his own needs and emotions aside; only showing a happy and confident outside.
Biography: His past is of a very complex nature, leading to his reserved ways. The little family didn't seem very much to the world, just a sweet little christian household with a father, mother and two daughters. The first few years where fine, good even. They went to church, started school, played and laughed. It was when Sam reached the age of 13 and came out as trans to his parents that things went straight downhill. It was safe to say that his parents did not accept his identity. The only other person that he dared talk to about his thoughts and feelings were his sister who loved him unconditionally. After two long years of fighting, abuse and Nery being taking from him as a punishment he finally plucked up all of his courage and left. At age 15 he was able to stay with a few close friends until he could get a job and a place for himself. As long as he's been able to he has worked multiple jobs, both to find somewhere to live and to afford the hormones and a top surgery. It's been a year since he started fully transitioning and he finally feels comfortable in his own body. He misses and worries about his sister still, but tries to keep regular contact with her; which is hard considering the situation with their parents. Throughout all of this ordeal Nery has been his rock and his
safety. She's always been understanding and loving and never left his side.
Other: He loves both music and art and has a considerate amount of skill in both of them. Money has always been a problem and he hasn't had the opportunity to invest much in music, but he draws a lot in his spare time. He has a pretty good song voice as well, but is still about self conscious that his voice might sound feminine, so he rarely sings around other people.

Age: 18
Gender: Female
Species: Otter
Appearance: Nery is a chocolate brown otter with a lighter underbelly and face and big friendly eyes. She's a bit chubby to thwart of the cold water and has smooth tightly packed fur from the same reason. The only slightly scary thing about her otherwise cute appearance would be her small sharp teeth and claws.
Personality: Nery is a lot like her human with her calm and kind personality, but is more genuine. She has nothing to hide and is always trying to be honest. Very few times has she ever freaked out and she's very good at keeping a level head in stressful situations. Even though she can seem very laid back she can be very assertive if the situation calls for it. She has saved Sam from hurting himself many times thanks to this trait. Her best trick for calming people (mostly Sam) down or comforting them is to cuddle up in their lap or around their shoulders and purring, almost like a kitten. Much like her human she's also very attentive and usually knows when somethings wrong.
Powers: She can manipulate water and usually uses her paws and/or tail to do so
Other: She gets along with almost anyone and the few times that she ever gets aggressive is when she is protecting her human. She's had a few run ins with his father when he's tried to hurt Sam and gave him some nasty wounds.

Name: Rebecca Browning
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Appearance: Rebecca has short, shoulder length brown hair and a small figure. Her eyes are bright blue and she has a goldish-tan skin complexion, thanks to her American Indian Ancestry. She is 5'4" and weighs 110 pounds.
Personality: Rebecca is timid and shy. She has a kind and sweet personality if you get to talking to her, but is fairly withdrawn when it comes to meeting new faces. She is not a risk taker and will need to be coaxed out of her comfort zone when scared or nervous about doing something. Rebecca has low self-esteem and has a hard time making decisions, usually going to her Abettor for reassurance and a second opinion.
Biography: Rebecca was raised and sheltered by two loving parents. She was an only child but her mother and father did a good job in not spoiling her. They were fairly well off as her father was a surgeon, and this gave her mother the ability to work as an artist. Rebecca loved admiring her mom's beautiful paintings, many of which were good enough to be sold at a decent price. Like her mother, she loves to paint and draw, finding the pastime relaxing and fulfilling. Her parents and the young teen usually got along pretty well, as Rebecca wasn't very rebellious like many of her peers. This may be because she didn't have a lot of friends in school and mostly kept to herself.

Una has a little more confidence than her human but can still be quite skittish and wary, especially in unfamiliar situations.
Powers: Una has very good hearing. She is able to pick up whispers from many yards away and louder noises from even greater distances. Una is also able to air hop consecutively in short bursts. This allows her to bounce around mid air and reach places that wouldn't be capable for Rebecca. She can retrieve small things for her human or get a look around with this ability.

Somewhere, in the plains of Nebraska, there is a building.

You would never find this building unless you were looking for it, and even if you found it it wouldn’t be anything special. It’s a three story building painted white, and it has three windmills not too far away from it. It looks just like a power plant.

It’s not.

Just about two floors underground, there are two holding cells on opposite sides of the basement. In one, twelve teenagers. In the other, their abettors.

Haniyya

Haniyya woke up on the bed closest to the mirror. She jolted upwards into sitting, and threw up into the duvet over her legs. She felt so sick she could barely think straight. She placed a hand gently on her forehead, and felt a raging fever. Was she sick? She wasn’t allowed to be sick, she had so much to do! Even though she felt so nauseous, she was starving, and thirsty. She reached out to her left, where Daniyah usually lay when she slept, but instead of feeling reassuring feathers and warmth, she felt only the cold, smooth surface of a wall.

She whipped her head around and jumped out of the bed. Daniyah, Daniyah, where was Daniyah? Where was she!? She lifted her head to look to see if she was on the shelves above her bed…but there were no shelves above this bed. All she saw was herself, staring back from a mirror. She breathed in slowly and reached out to touch the mirrors perfectly clean surface. She flinched at the coldness and drew her hand back. Where was she?

She turned around to look at her surroundings, desperately trying to calm her heart, which threatened to burst out from her chest and fly away. Her eyes first fell on the other beds in the room. There were eleven more beds apart from her, and on each bed lay a teenager. They all looked around the same age as Haniyya, but there were a few who must have been younger. She stared at them all in horror, realising that not a single person in that room had their Abettor. She watched all of them carefully, and was relieved to see that all of them were breathing, moving a little. Some of them were starting to wake up.

She looked away from the other teenagers, to the rest of the room. She could see a bin, two couches, two coffee tables, a water cooler, and a large bookshelf with all sorts of games and a few deck of cards, and a water cooler. She wouldn't be drinking out of that any time soon. Past the bookshelf there was a wooden door, but there wasn't a way to know what was behind it without opening it.

Haniyya looked around the room another time. That was it, except for a speaker in one corner of the room, a long air shaft above the beds, and a digital clock above the beds. Apparently, it was 11:55.

No, that couldn't be right. Last she checked, it was 20:00, eight o'clock. How much time had passed? She sat down on the bed and put her fingers to her temples. She had been coming home from the mosque with her mother, father and brother. It was her turn to do the shopping, so she split apart from her family to go to the shops. She was walking home from the supermarket, down an empty street. Daniyah was carrying one of the bags just behind her...

It all came rushing back. She gasped in pain, hugging her arms to her stomach. The person in the mask, holding Daniyah, filling her veins with thick, blue liquid through a far too long needle...

Haniyya stayed like that, whimpering. She clawed through her brain, trying to find the link. She called out into the quiet void of her brain. 'Daniyah! Daniyah! Dani!' She called into her head. No reply.

She lifted her head and looked towards the other teenagers. Maybe they knew something? She waited for someone to come to their sense enough that she could talk with them.

Daniyah

Daniyah woke up with a flutter of her wings. She rose up to her feet, stretching her large wings out. She shrieked loudly, intending to wake Haniyya up. "Rise and shine!" She squealed in Arabic, and then she opened her eyes. There was...no one next to her. That was impossible, they never slept apart, and humans and abettors always woke up at the same time. She looked around, thinking that Haniyya had maybe woken a little earlier.

She wasn't there. In fact, there wasn't a human anywhere around her. Only Abettors. She hoped they were Abettors. Normal animals were frustrating to deal with. She spread out her wings and flapped her wings once or twice, but nothing happened. No wind. She tried again, moving her wings as fast as she could. A gust of wind blew into the bin nearly directly in front of her and it stood tall. Normally, that much movement would have made enough wind to move nearly anything. She twitched a little as she thought. Haniyya wasn't dead, because she still had her powers. Good. Then why wasn't she replying?

'Haniyya, where are you Hani?' She said into an empty link. Nothing came back to her. With a noise like a growl, she pushed herself into the air, circling just above the bookshelf. She searched for Haniyya in her head with every inch she travelled, and found nothing. She tumbled back down to the bed, panting. She was tired. Why was she tired? She could have flown more than that holding shopping bags-

Shopping bag.

The memory came back. The brown falcon flung itself backwards, against the mirror behind her. She breathed out slowly, shutting her eyes. If she was kidnapped, Haniyya probably was too. Maybe somewhere in a holding cell just like this one. She cooed sadly, lifting her wings over her head. She needed to get back to Haniyya. The human was prone to being sick. She probably already had. The falcon breathed out, chest rattling. She looked up at the other Abettors. They all needed to talk.

Amethyst woke up with a groan. She sat up and stretched before opening her eyes. The young girl finally seemed to realize that something wasn't right. "Blaise what the hell?!" She mentally panicked. The last thing that she remembered was walking home from the skatepark. Blaise had been complaining like usually and then...nothing. Amethyst hopped up from the bed that she was on and looked around the room. "Blaise we-...Blaise?!" It finally occurred to her that her companion hadn't responded to her at all. When she noticed the other people in the room Amethyst bit her lip, none of them had their Abettors either.

She noticed that someone was also awake. From her place on the end it looked like a woman, a young woman to be exact. She stumbled over to her, wanting answers. "Hey!" She called out to her

Blaise yawned and stretched as he woke up. The big cat rolled onto his stomach to stretch his legs before standing. He tensed when he realized that he was no longer outside. He looked around the room and noticed that there were other Abettors but without their humans in sight. Blaise's hackles raised when he couldn't reach Amethyst telepathically. He tried to look through the walls and teleport but it was useless.

Blaise hopped off the bed and began to pace. He needed to find Amethyst. They needed each other. And what if she was in danger? It was his job to protect her! Blaise growled in annoyance and tried to spot a way out.

Prelude
Rebecca was walking down the street, heading to a store in the city. She had just gotten off school and was alone with Una, not taking the bus back to her house. It wasn't a far walk, and she wanted to surprise her mother with a gift. Her birthday was three days away and Rebecca was planning on getting her a pretty glass vase she'd seen in a botanist store window. The bright colors swirled together like smoke and a glossy finish completed the piece. She knew her mom would love it, being an artist, and so she'd grabbed what little savings she had from her pillow before school. In retrospect, she should have told her dad where she was going, but Rebecca knew he'd insist on coming along with her. If they both left the house her mom would expect something. The 15 year old wanted it to be a complete surprise, and so she said nothing to either of her parents.

If we hurry we can make it back before the bus gets to our house, Una spoke to her telepathically.

Rebecca pulled her cellphone out from her jeans pocket, You're right, she replied after looking at the time. They were the last stop on the bus, and if they got home before it reached her house, she could avoid her parents worrying about where she was. Picking up the pace, she moved in front of Una and rounded a corner. When they passed an alleyway, her Abettor suddenly shrieked. Rebecca whipped around, eyes wide, the fear and alarm of her Abettor spiking in her own brain. There was a man holding her, a black mask covering his face, and he was grasping a needle filled with some sort of blue syrup. The girl went to run at him, but when her foot hit the ground it collapsed underneath her. She hit the concrete hard. The assailant had plunged the liquid into Una, and Rebecca's body wouldn't respond. Her limbs were heavy and her muscles were fatigued. Slowly, blackness crept into her vision, and Rebecca passed out.

23k7u6a.jpg
Kneeling over the toilet, Rebecca threw up again. She felt so nauseous. Her limbs were heavy and tears streamed down her face, the salty water stinging her left cheek where the sidewalk had scraped it up. Una was gone. She'd realized this about four minutes ago when she'd awoken. That man had kidnapped her, and she had no idea what he'd done with her rabbit. The girl sniffled, wiping her nose and mouth with some toilet paper. What's going to happen to me? she wondered, more tears sliding down to her chin, What's going to happen to Una? She stifled a sob, her Abettor was everything Rebecca, the little bunny was her world and the fact that she'd lost her was terrifying. She felt so alone. There had been others in the main room, she was the first among them to wake up. But they were all strangers. She didn't recognize any of their faces, and none of them had their Abettors with them either. They'd been kidnapped just like her.

Suddenly, the bathroom lights shut off and Rebecca was plunged into darkness. "H- Hello?" She croaked out, leaning back against the stall. She folded her legs up to her chest and wrapped her arms around them. Then she tucked her forehead into her knees and broke into a sob. She didn't care who heard her anymore. She sat there alone, in the dark and crying. Una. Una please answer me.

But there was no response.

2sale01.jpg
Una sniffed the mat she'd woke up on earlier. There was no sign of Rebecca's scent and she was extremely worried. She'd taken a quick look around the cell and found no exits. The only door seemed to be the connector between the bathroom and the living quarters. It was strange. She'd also tried air hopping up to get a glance through the narrow vent that lined the top of the wall, but she could only manage one jump. She felt exhausted and weak, and Una wasn't sure if her powers were lessened because Rebecca was gone, or because of the serum that man had injected into her. Or it could be both, she thought.

It had all happened so fast, there was a shadow to her right and then someone had grabbed her. She kicked and tried to rocket herself away from him but he held on tight, squishing her small body between his side and his arm. Next she felt the pain of the long needle, and then Rebecca collapsed before her.

Una drooped her ears back against her head. She felt as if she'd failed Rebecca. If she'd just been paying more attention...

Two of the other animals stirred, waking up from their slumber. But Una didn't greet them. Instead she curled up on the mattress and tried to stay as small as possible. The other big Abettors scared her without Rebecca around, she wasn't sure what they would do. Una watched passively as the falcon flapped her wings and made a small breeze. Her eyes flicked over to the other side of the room where a Lynx stood up and began pacing. The rest were still asleep for the moment. Una's worried mind drifted back to Rebecca as she lay there waiting.

Rajah woke up in a cell. He felt exhausted, his limbs jelly, and his legs spaghetti.
Where am I?
He was lying in a rather well-made bed. Was he... kidnapped?
Rajah fell onto the floor. Where was he? "Jaune."
No answer. "Jaune!"
Rajah kicked the floor. Where was Jaune? Little did Rajah know that Jaune hadn't even woken up yet. Rajah decided to get some help. He looked at a few girls. He got out a badge from his pocket. "This is police business! What happened to you? Where is your Abettor?"
There was no way he was just going to stand back and watch these other people be victims!

Sam stirred when the loud sound of someones voice filled the room. He groaned as he felt his head pulse painfully with a headache and screwed his eyes shut for a moment, not wanting to risk making it worse. The voice kept talking but it was just a grumbled up mess of words to him in this state. After a moment he forced himself to open his eyes and blinked bleary eyed at the sharp light.
"Nery?" he mumbled as he rubbed at his eyes, trying to get used to the light. His other hand searched the bed, but found it empty. Confused, he searched his mind after the familiar connection with his Abettor, but again found nothing. That was when his mind finally started to catch up. Everything smelled and felt unfamiliar. The light was too bright, too cold. And where was Nery? Shaking his head he sat up quickly. The quick motion made him feel dizzy and he grabbed on tightly to the sheets to try and stabilize himself, taking deep breaths. He searched his mind again, sure that he just must have missed her, but nothing. The empty feeling made him feel sick and he just now realized how weak his entire body felt. What had happened?

Scenes from last night flashed in front of him in his mind. They had just went out on a walk for a breath of fresh air, he thought. They had just rounded the corner of the forest on their way home when he remembered the loud screech from Nery. He had whipped around, trying to defend his Abettor from he unknown threat, but had quickly been immobilized and had hit the ground with a loud thud.

Sam swallowed hard at the memories and shuddered when he thought about his friend being held against her will, being punctured by that needled and the weird blue liquid. So where were they now? He knew that she was alive, because he was, and not too far away as he didn't feel sickly weak. He finally lifted his gaze to inspect his surroundings, only to find a whole set of young people just like him in a big white room. Some of them were still sleeping in identical beds to his and some were standing up, looking as distraught as he felt. They were all without their Abettors. What is this place?

page-divider-transparent-gold-20816-1-e1469781670813.jpg

Nery woke up to a soft wind and the sound of flapping wings. Her ears twitched slightly at the sound and she made a small confused sound. Why was there a bird in the room? And why was she so cold? Where was Sams warmth next to her? Blinking her eyes open she was met by a big, bright and pretty much empty room. She shot up out of her bed and whipped her head around the get a full view of the entire place. It was inhabited but many other Abettors, but no humans. No Sam. She looked for him in her mind, screamed after him, but felt nothing in return. Her heart started beating faster, but she sat perfectly still. The big hawk a few meters from her must have been the one who woke her up. At the other end of the room a lynx was pacing worriedly back and forth. Everyone else seemed to be asleep.

Nery gave herself a few moments to catch up with the situation and nervously ran her paws through the fur on her belly, a habit she had when she was worried. She was trying to figure out how they had gotten into this situation when a small movement at the edge of her field of view caught her eye.

A small bunny laid trembling on it's bed next to her. She tilted her head to try and listen in it's direction and heard it's small quick breaths. Just hesitating for a second she then carefully tip toed over to the poor thing. She sniffed in the air around it cautiously, still being on alert because of the whole weird situation. After a moment she carefully sat down next to the bunny.
"Hey, are you alright?" she asked softly, nudging it carefully with one paw.

Ella felt unsettled before she even came conscious, usually Jika was sprawled at awkward angles, gangly limbs and sharp claws bumping her side, often clawing over her chest. Strangely enough, there was nothing of the sort and Jika wasn’t the type to wake up early, favouring to accompany Ella wherever she chose to go that morning. Her eyelashes groggily lifted upwards, struggling against the weight of exhaustion and that was strange to, had she fallen asleep?

No, impossible.. she remembered the drizzle of sunshine, sweeping across the park, barren almost, say one or two children barrelling across the grounds like deranged lunatics, likely hyped on sugar.. but she felt fuzzy, almost like an invisible blanket had been draped around her thoughts.

Then.. a memory clicked into place, she was grabbed, forcefully and something was injected, flushed into her veins before she could protest. Ella twisted up startled, already launching herself from the bed with a frightened expression and breathing, heavily, her lungs working overtime to accommodate for the quick gasps.

“J-jika..” She called out, eyes glancing around the room like a rabid animal. “This isn’t funny.. I am not in the mood for one of your jokes!” She snapped, her frightened expression started to dissipate, as bouts of anger started to wind through her countenance, clenching her teeth annoyed. This couldn’t be happening, Jika was missing, and her reassuring presence was nothing more than a silent whisper, a recollection that was a ghost in her own mind.

There were others in her position, more people, ranging from younger to little older, teenagers essentially, which meant easy targets. She growled, moving one foot to kick the bed violently and ripping off the sheets, fuelled by anger. “I am not going to accept this! Whoever planned this, I am not going to be silent!” She shouted, her eyes narrowing, piecing together she was kidnapped and kicked the bed yet again, inciting to create as much noise as possible to draw the sound of whoever was behind this.

She was going to fight back.. no matter what they would do.

xXx

Jika yawned lazily, stretching her frame and her claws, pricking against the- strange, typically, Jika would be walking over something squishy, fleshy, belonging to one annoying human. She also noticed the lack of snoring, which used to pour through the room like a runaway train, but nonetheless, provided a small note of comfort that Ella was close to her. Her eyes sharply slid open, gauging the scene before her and licked her teeth, circling around her razors, contemplating the situation at hand.

Something was very wrong indeed and Jika didn’t like it.

Amethyst watched as more people started to wake up. Out of habit she took a stick of gum from out of her pocket and chewed it. It calmed her down slightly, but only slightly. Amethyst took a breath and blew a large bubble. When it popped she looked everyone over. "So...are we going to try and piece this together or what?" She tried to put on a brace face in front of the others. She figured that none of them had anything to do with this. Hell they were just as frightened and confused as her she would bet.

divider-line1.png

Blaise looked at the whimpering rabbit and snarled in disgust. Laying around and crying would get them no where. He climbed back on the bed and puffed out his chest. "It is safe to assume that we've all been kidnapped." He said loudly and clearly. "But the reason why is still a mystery. Perhaps instead of cowering like fools we can try and find a way out of here." He suggested. His worry for his human was turning into anger and annoyance and he wasn't above taking it out on any of them.

Haniyya

Haniyya turned her head at the sound of someone shouting in her direction. It was a girl with an extremely contrasting hair and skin-tone, white hair and dark skin. Her clothes were a little odd, Haniyya thought, but that didn't matter. She held onto her hijab like a comfort blanket as she walked to the girl, legs barely solid. "We've been kidnapped," she whispered under her breath to the girl, as if it wasn't obvious.

She looked around the room again, just in case she had missed anything. She looked at the beds, biting her lip. There were five people awake now that she could see, counting herself. One girl with half-dyed hair was throwing a fit, making an awful ruckus. Just then, there was a fizzing, popping sound. Haniyya turned her head upwards, to the speaker in the corner of the room. An identical speaker in the corner of the bathroom did the same. The two speakers fizzed and popped for a few more seconds, before a voice spoke.

"Calm down, Miss Lewis," a man's voice spoke, calm and practically taunting. There were a few more seconds of silence, a mixture of mutters between people. "Someone please go and fetch Miss Browning from the bathroom. It's through the wooden door." The speaker shut off. Haniyya clenched her fists. She tried to think of what Daniyah would do. She grasped the bottom of her headscarf, thinking hard. This isn't the work of one person, because they could hear multiple through the speaker. They could see them, and probably hear them too. Apart from that, she couldn't think of much more information that she could gather. She was thoroughly baffled. Worried and baffled and especially afraid, though she'd never admit it.

Daniyah

Daniyah shuffled to the end of her bed and jumped off of the mattress. She fluttered up to the top bookshelf and pretended that she wasn't there at all. If she looked at it from above, she could pretend it was a video game, and that it wasn't at all a possible life or death situation. There was a door quite near her. Curious, she flew down and nudged the door open with her head. Past the door was a bathroom. A normal bathroom. She waddled back into the room where she had woken up. People were designed to live here. This wasn't somewhere to hold them, this was somewhere for them to live. Knowing where you were going to be the next little while was useful info.

She came back to the living room to find that a lynx was speaking to the others. She flew to stand on the end of his bed. "Apart from the lack of kitchen, this place is designed for long term living. There's baths and everything." She said, pointing a wing in the direction of the bathroom area.

Rajah nodded. "Of course. To not do so would be idiotic. We have been kidnapped. We should try to get out."
He flashed his badge. "My name's Rajah. What's yours? Once you tell me, I can send more info to the government."
When he heard the voice, Rajah sighed. "And who are you, Mister Kidnapper? what are you planning to do with us, huh?" Rajah felt angry. He was stuck here with a-
He watched Amethyst blow a bubble.
-Bunch of juveniles! He had to figure this case out quickly.

Una's eyes flicked over to the otter when it made a move towards her. She stayed frozen, as if she wouldn't be seen as long she didn't move. The only motion was the twitching of her nose and whiskers as she sniffed the air around her. But the she didn't relent and came over, sitting down next to Una.

"Hey, are you alright?"

Una flinched slightly when the otter's paw touched her. "No." Una stated quietly. She was on high alert, nervous and antsy as if she were being hunted by a dog. Her head quickly flicked to the Lynx when he began talking loudly, her ears perking up momentarily before flattening themselves on her head and neck again.

Compared to the lynx who was huge and acting very aggressive, the otter was friendly and welcoming. It made Una feel a little better being next to her, but it wasn't enough to truly calm her down.

"I'm scared," she whispered to the abettor beside her. "Where are our humans?"

┣▇ Joey ▇▇▇▇▇═─

The first things Joey noticed when she woke up were an unbearable pounding in her head and rapidly developing nausea. She didn't remember going to bed last night, but obviously she did.

She wasn't entirely surprised by her sickness and the gaps in her memory. She did have a lot to drink last night. Before opening her eyes, she started rolling off her bed, expecting to roll right onto the floor, as her bed was just a mattress on a carpet.

She mumbled sleepily, "Guess I overdid it a little, huh, May?"

She had just enough time to register that her abettor hadn't responded before she fell a considerable distance and collided with a hard floor. That wasn't right at all...

Pain flared up in the shoulder she landed on (the fact that her head already hurt didn't help) and she curled up and groaned.

"May? Maybell? Are you here?"

When, again, she didn't get a response, she got to her knees and finally looked around. She was in a big room with a bunch of other people, and Maybell wasn't there. She lifted herself up onto her feet and tried to remember what had happened.

She had been invited to a party the night before by her neighbor. It was the beginning of Summer vacation and a group of students at the high school she would be attending in the Fall decided to hold a get-together in the woods to celebrate. She had agreed to come so she could meet the people who would be her classmates, but she had just gotten overwhelmed. The one person she knew had gone off with her other friends, leaving Joey alone with Maybell. She had gotten nervous, so she started drinking. And then kept drinking. She had gotten drunk and stressed and decided to get away from the crowd. The last thing she could remember was sitting against a tree with Maybell in her lap, the opossum trying to calm her down.

After that... nothing.

She leaned against the wall, trying to collect herself in her silent breakdown.

┣▇ Maybell ▇▇▇▇═─

"Joey--!" Maybell jolted out of the bed she was in, looking around desperately for her human. The last thing she remembered was a person grabbing her out of Joey's lap and injecting her with... something. Joey had already fallen asleep; she couldn't even fight back.

She didn't know where she was, but she knew that Joey wasn't with her. There were only other animals there, also missing their humans.

She had no idea why she and the others were being held there away from their humans, but at that moment, she didn't care. All she wanted was to find Joey.

She needed to get down to business. There was no time to freak out or shut down.

"Does anyone have any idea what's going on?"

Chojin woke up as sweat fell from his forhead to his hand "what the...where am i" he thought to himself before sitting up on the bed he was on. "Hmm these peopl are-" Chojin started to say but was stoped by Sudden Rush of electricity into his head causing him to fall to his knees "Robbie!!!!" Chojin yelled out him pain.

---------------------Robbie-------------------------
Robbie slowly woke up to see that Chojin was nowhere to be found "Chojin where are you" he called out as Robbie try to move around but to no luck whats so ever since he was chain to the wall. "Crap Chojin!!!" Robbie called out for Chojin but he couldnt see or hear him.

Sam jumped when a girl next to him woke up and started to freak out. She kicked her bed violently, ripping her sheets while screaming at their perpetrators that she wasn't going to accept this. Other people were starting to wake up too, calling for their Abettors in confusion and worry. He laid his head down into the palms of his hands, trying to keep calm and not make his headache worse while room filled with voices.

Suddenly everything went silent when the crackling of a speaker filled the room.
"Calm down, Miss Lewis," spoke a mans voice in a condescending tone which made him grimace. The realization that the people that held them captive somehow could see them made him nauseous and he looked around the room once again, searching for cameras. When he couldn't find any he locked eyes with his reflection on the opposite side of the room. One way glass? He shuddered, throwing his arms around himself in an attempt to cover himself up, even though he was fully dressed.
"Someone please go and fetch Miss Browning from the bathroom. It's through the wooden door." The voice declared a second after. Sams eyebrows furrowed at this and he looked up at the others. They seemed occupied with trying to figure out what was going on and none went to the door.

Biting his lip in contemplation Sam slowly stood up, careful not to make himself dizzy again. Behind him a girl fell off her bed and he turned around to see if she was okay. By the time he looked back she was already standing up, so he turned back around and headed to the wooden door, passing the little group of people that had woken up. Cautiously he pulled down the door handle and slowly opened the door to find a completely dark room.
"Hello?" His voice echoed quietly into the room against the tile walls and floor. He carefully made his way into the bathroom, listening intently for any sign of human life. It was quiet for a few seconds before he heard a small sob. coming from his left. He followed the sound with his hands outstretched and found the corner of a toilet cubicle in the dark. His hands traced the outside until he found the door handle. Pulling on it he realized that it hadn't been locked and he opened it slightly.
"Hey are you in there? Are you okay?" he spoke, barely above a whisper as he sank down on his ankles to seem less threatening, if she could even see him.
"It's Miss Browning right?" He opened the door slightly more to let in some of the faint light that came from the other room. Moving a bit he positioned himself at the outskirts of the door opening so that he didn't block it for her if she wanted to leave.

page-divider-transparent-gold-20816-1-e1469781670813.jpg

Nery nodded slightly and opened her mouth to speak again when the lynx spoke up.
"It is safe to assume that we've all been kidnapped." He said loudly and clearly. "But the reason why is still a mystery. Perhaps instead of cowering like fools we can try and find a way out of here." He sounded angry, understandably and Nerys ears twitched at his voice.
"Hm" was her only answer. From what she could tell from the room, there were few ways to get out. There was only one door and according to the falcon that had woken her it was leading to a bathroom. There had to be another one, she thought, but it seemed to be hidden. The room had no windows either and the walls seemed pretty solid.

She turned back around to the rabbit when she started talking again
"I'm scared," she said. "Where are our humans?" Nery folded her ears back sadly at that and looked down briefly before looking back up again.
"I-...I don't know. But it seems like we still have our powers left so they must be alive and near enough." she said, trying to be positive and reassuring.
"We'll find them" she said, this time with more confidence. "and we'll get out of here." She paused briefly before smiling kindly at the rabbit.
"My name is Nery, what's yours?"

Haniyya

Haniyya turned her attention to the white haired boy. He flashed a badge and spoke quick, but he looked far too young to have a proper position in the police force. 'Some sort of amateur detective, then,' she thought. Normally, Daniyah would pipe up with something like 'well, he'll help, so we can't really think bad of him!' but of course, she didn't. Noticing this made Haniyya feel just that little bit lonelier. She cleared her throat. "I'm Haniyya El-Amin." She said to who she believed to be just a wannabe. "I'm originally from Saudi Arabia, but I live in New York." She looked around the room, thinking hard. "Maybe we're being held ransom for money." She said, assuming that everyone in the room was of the same wealth. "If we are, then we shouldn't be here for long. Our parents will pay the ransom and then we're home free." She said, trying to sound encouraging.

She wasn't sure how much she really believed it. After all, looking around, nobody there looked particularly rich. They all looked quite average, nobody decked up in designer clothes or jewellery. The ransom idea seemed to become less and less believable by the second. If they weren't being held ransom, though, why were they there? For a second, The Hunger Games crossed her mind, but she quickly pushed it away. There had to be a more rational explanation to a plain old fight to the death..

Daniyah

Daniyah scratched at the bed covers, trying to look calm though she felt so restless. There was nothing more she wanted now than to go hunting, because it always calmed her down. However, a hunting outburst in here would not make anyone happy. She looked at the opossum that had woken up. "We've been kidnapped and we're being held here for a reason we don't know. They want us to live here in relative comfort, I think." She looked up at the clock on the wall. It read 11:57. "Look, it'll be lunch soon," she pointed out.

She thought for a few seconds. "They're going to have to feed us eventually. I don't know about all of you, but I'm starving. I haven't eaten since four o'clock, yesterday." She said. "What would be the point of giving us a room like this," she pointed to all the entertainment, "if they're just going to let us starve?"

<---Kailey--->

The first thing Kailey noticed when she woke up was the ceiling. She blinked, trying to figure out which building this one belonged in, but her mind was all muddled, slipping in and out of her grasp. Where was she? She did remember that her abettor was kidnapped in front of her, with those creepy guys in masks armed with a syringe full of strange liquid. It seemed that she was kidnapped as well, presumably to a place nearby her abettor. Knowing that Wes must be awake now, she reached out to him telepathically, trying to form a coherent sentence.

[[Hey, Wes. Where are you?]]

She waited, but there was no answer. Terror seized her as she realized that she didn't feel any link to Weston at all.

She breathed in deeply. Okay. Think, Kailey, think. She sat up and looked around, and she saw that she was in some kind of large room that looked like the hospitals she've been in, except that this one was much more intimidating. She stared at the blanket on her lap. Think harder. Where could you be possibly in? Why would anyone try to kidnap me, out of all the people in the world? I'm not worth a single dime!

As she thought about it more and more, her presumptions about the intentions of her kidnappers got more and more ridiculous. She just gave up, realizing that she would never be able to figure it out by herself. Fortunately, it seemed that the captors decided that they would put her with other people who've apparently in the same position she's in.

<---Weston--->

Weston woke up to the sound of chatters. He stirred in the bed - the sleep hasn't completely left him yet, and besides, he was sure that Kailey would drag him out of the bed when she was out and about. She was the early bird out of the two. He was sure that she would point that out to her today too; 'you're the bird here, so you should be the one who wakes me up, not the other way around!'

Weston waited, and waited, and waited. Still no sign of Kailey. That was certainly strange. Weston stood up and shook his feathers. What in the world was Kailey doing? She wasn't the one who would -

Then Weston remembered what had happened. He slumped back down, feeling sick to his stomach when he remembered that masked man who had injected that thing into him.

"I'm Amethyst Lloyd. I'm from California." She introduced herself. "For ransom? My parents aren't even that rich..." She frowned thoughtfully. Amythyst popped another bubble with her gum. It helped her think. "Maybe we've been taken because of something they did? You know, like in the movies where someone is kidnappe because of something their family or partners did." She suggested. Amethyst looked at one of the clocks. "It's almost lunch time. I wonder how that will go. If someone comes in maybe we can jump them..." She suggested. Now that she thought about it there a good number of teens in here. And when concerned they could be really crafty, well at least the people that she knew were.

"Guys we should really think of a plan and..." Amethyst trailed off. She remembered the voice from before, if they could see them then they could probably hear them as well. "We should talk quietly while we do. They can clearly see us...who says that they can't hear us as well?"
divider-line1.png

"Yes we've been kidnapped, that much is obvious." Blaise turned his attention to the clock. He looked at the falcon and tilted his head. "That's true. But we don't know who excatly our kidnappers are...." He narrowed his eyes. "If they attempt to come inside I will not hesitate to attack." He bared his teeth.

Ella Lewis

Another startling realization, they knew her name, albeit partially with her second name, but her name was still spoken. These people had done more than just kidnap a bunch of kids, Ella bit her trembling lip, reclining against the torn sheets, fingers smoothing over the rumpled bed, wrecked and shattered by Ella’s own outburst.

She tucked her legs against the battered frame. Maybe we're being held ransom for money… Ella perked up at that assumption, eyes glossing over several seconds of contemplation before shaking her head at the theory. She wasn’t worth much; her family were barely living making enough to break even and the very notion her own mother would spend a fortune in getting Ella back? Ridiculous, she pursed her lips together, her anger was starting to fade, her initial fear lingered.

“I am not exactly worth a million bucks..” She spoke softly, trying to hold herself together for a modicum of sense. Jika always told her, calmness was the key to overcoming your obstacles and focus – but here, the stuffy room, the random strangers, the atmosphere were all countering that calm.

“And we are being watched, looks more like a lab experiment than an actual kidnapping.” She huffed the sentence through her teeth, removing her fingers from the bed. If she had to sleep here.. well.. she messed up the only piece of furniture that was meant for her in some sense; another win for Ella in her grand scheme of failed luck.

Rajah shook his head. "Hmm... it seems like a couple of you are just a bunch of random kids. But then... Why don't we have our Abettors?"
Rajah started to pace back and forth. "They're probably weak. If we're here, then they must be here too." He punched a wall. "I can't believe my eyes. Jaune would've just busted out, but I'm not there to help him..."

┣▇ Joey ▇▇▇▇▇═─

"R-ransom? My mom won't be able to pay any ransom!" Joey started to panic as she thought about her mom. She had been a bit nervous about Joey going to a party where she barely knew anyone. Joey could remember the exact conversation they had before she left.

"Just be careful, alright Jo? Don't do anything stupid, okay?"

"Haha, of course I won't! Besides, I'll have May with me."

"Alright. Have fun, honey. Be safe."

Joey felt tears welling up in her eyes, but they were quickly forgotten when her nausea flared up. Doubling over, she frantically rushed into the other room (she assumed there was a toilet or something there since there wasn't one in the first room). Luckily, she found two bathroom stalls. She stumbled into the unoccupied one and vomited into the toilet, not caring that the door to the other stall was open and whoever was inside could probably hear her.

Haniyya

Haniyya's eyes opened wide in astonishment. "You're from California?" She asked, voice high-pitched in disbelief. New York and California were on entirely different sides of the country! If there were people from the north or south, then this was a rather big project. Big enough to get kids from all over a four million square mile country. When the Amethyst girl suggested that it was maybe the fault of one of their family members, it flared up her temper. "My family is an honourable one!" She barked in horror. "A flower will eat a lion before anyone in my family commits a crime!"

She realised she was being a bit unreasonable. She put her hands on her hips and breathed out slowly. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I'm worried, is all." She said, looking up at the ceiling though the bright lights burnt her eyes. She blinked a few times then sighed. "We need to find their cameras. They probably have microphones too, we need to find them." She said. If they could figure out how they were being seen and heard, they could plan where they stood around that.

Daniyah

Daniyah tilted her head at the lynx. "I know that you are angry, but attacking them might not be too good an idea." She said. "Our powers are weak, and whoever comes to get us will likely have the pair - human and abettor. Not to mention any weapons the human may have." She swept her head under her wing and scratched at her body. "We need to know what we're dealing with before we try and pick fights with them."

She looked at the beds. There was still one more Abettor asleep, a bald eagle. Daniyah flew off of the bed and onto the one the bald eagle was sleeping on. "You've got to wake up," she said to the eagle, tearing away the blanket. She shook the bird with one of her feet, muttering. She wanted everyone awake before anything more happened.
