Setting: City of Glimpse in Novata capital.

Situation: Local and federal government have begin to revoke the rights of people in the name of security.

Post or pre war? ( Pre )

Chapter one:

The rain rattled upon the windows as you sat in your office chair gazing at the stormy sky while you begin to hear the small faint of the news covering the local area. The world seems to be ending you begin to think to yourself. As you look at the sky it begins to become more dark by the hour as if mother nature was making a call to arms against the human race.

Life was simple in Novata before man realized that the number of people led to higher income for upper class within the government. While the people chose to revolt, the government answered by sending troops to squash the revolt. As the rain begin to pick up you are startled by a knock on your apartment door.

Zaiden Perez had been staring at his blank computer screen for the past three minutes. It was the only way that he was able to see himself since the mirror he owned had been taken by his ex in their lengthy break up. He really hated that he had one piece of hair that never seemed to stay in place, no matter how hard he tried to push it back into place. And he had tried often.

He wondered when the rain was going to stop. He doubted that it was going to be any time soon. He went to click his computer on, wondering if the dinosaur was going to work, but he didn't get a chance to find the answer to his question. There was a loud banging on his door. " Who is it?"" He asked, knowing better than to just answer the door, especially now.

While zaiden begin to make his questionable walk to the door he could still hear the patters of the rain hitting the stain glass window as he made his way into the main living room. " What are you doing?" He would ask as each step seemed to begin to get heavier and heavier after each step towards the door.

He wasn't expecting anyone at his apartment ever since the great collapse. Instead all he was left with was a knocking at the door and the soft news rolling in on the T.V.

Zaiden wasn't sure what to think about the fact that the rain was hitting his stained glass windows, it unnerved him a lot more than the walk though. He kept thinking how bad of an idea this was and it seemed that his body agreed as each step seemed to take even longer than the last one as well. Why didn't he stop?

He wondered who was at the door and he would look over at the TV. " I'm not opening the door until you answer me," he replied back, hoping they would leave. He wasn't a people person.

As the rain begin to slowly stop. A loud crash rattles the living room floor as CS gas begins to cover the entire room.

As the fear of someone at the door the knocking stops. Only options that can be viewed is the back kitchen door on the second floor apartment with a fire escape on the balcony.

Or wait it out with the torture of not being able to breath as the fear whoever did this is still outside.

Zaiden learned that when things stopped nothing good was going to happen. He heard the loud crash and felt the gas fill the room.

Oh hell no. Zaiden thought as the knocking stopped and he knew one thing. He wasn't about to stay in his apartment and let himself be captured by some unknown attacker. That wasn't who he was.

He would make a bolt for the back kitchen door and the fire escape, fumbling with the lock and grabbing his coat from the hook by the back entrance along with his phone, wallet, keys and charger. He was always told he was paranoid for keeping things by the emergency exit.... but he knew it would come in handy one day.

Zaiden/s paranoia pays off.

With you quick decision and reaction skills you are presented as you escape safely out of the apartments and into the alley ways as you begin a slight jog down the road.

While making sure he was not being detected he could hear the helicopters over head as he could hear the faint hum of its engines as it made its passing by over his head.

As you walk down the alley way your cell phone rings you notice its a number you do not recognize. But at this point what else can go wrong not like you almost where captured by a unknown force.

While debating what to do with the incoming call you realize there is a bike laying on the sidewalk not to far from you as you pass by the bus stop.

Threat Low

He was happy that he was a paranoid man.

He knew that it would come in handy as he would go through the back exit and into the alleyway. He wasn't even worried about the dinosaur being on, it offered next to no information on him.

There was something unnerving about the fact that there were helicoptors over his head and he wasn't sure that he felt safer. Something about this whole situation just felt wrong.

Zaiden knew that he shouldn't answer the call, but he had recently purged his phone of all numbers with a factory reset to get more music on it... so he would pick it up. " Who is this?" He asked, skipping all formalities.

Zaiden did not know how to ride a bike.... motorcycles, yeah. A car, yes. But as for a bike, it was as useless to him as a cellphone was to a ant.
