The Wider Galaxy

"That is good to hear. I will make good use of it I'm sure." The idea of a fast mutating and evolving creature was too good to pass up! I could make myself cybernetic war beasts or living tanks for the front lines. The possibilities are near endless with what I can do for these creatures! It wasn't long before we were arriving at the capital. I began wondered how this meeting would turn out. Were they leading me into a trap to destroy me and take my parts for study, or will they genually wish to trade with me for technology and research. Or will they use my for that purpose then cut all connections immediately. It was exciting to think about really.

"Alright, we're here." Raynar exclaimed as they had finally arrived. They showed up at a large rock pillar in the middle of the forest, and there was a small room built at the bottom. "Soldiers, stay down here, we'll go up first." He ordered as he walked into the room. "Once you're in here, I'll press the button and we'll teleport to the top."

@The King Of Rats

"I do not know what you want, but I can provide significant amount of space faring vessels to fight off pirates and raiders. As well as provide many military support options for you, so you may focus on caring for your....children as you say."

@Widowmaker

I was shown the capaital and it was quite the sight to behold. I am still amazed how a civilization can survive underground for so long and not have begun colonizing the surface or other planets for that matter. Raynar told me that I should walk into the room with him and that we'll teleport to the top, which I obliged as I set into the room.

As they entered the room, Raynar pressed the button and they were teleported up to the top. What he would see was a well constructed ceiling city, with many bridges and support beams attached to the surface. All the houses were futuristic in design, designed to be visually fortified but also communal looking, as they were strongly attached to the rocky walls. Every bridge had supports as well as viewing stands for people who wanted to take a look down at the lush ground and forests underneath. "Here we are. If you'll follow me, I'll escort you to the science district."

"Hmmm, we are lacking in space faring vessels for defense" Mother said, still thinking about the offer "The amount of land you want to mine concerns me"

@Widowmaker

We were teleported too another room, I believe at the top of the spire. There I can see curved fortified buildings and bridges, a testament to their technological advance. It was breathtaking as forests at this scale could exists underground. I turn to Raynar and followed as the organic to the science district.

@The King Of Rats

"And why is that? On a planetary scale, it would only be a small amount of land. Is there a problem with your uninhabited lands? Or with your population?"

"And why is that? On a planetary scale, it would only be a small amount of land. Is there a problem with your uninhabited lands? Or with your population?"

"My population, my children are inquisitive and like to wander around, i would hate to have them stumble upon dangerous machinery" Mother stated, this was just her programming, no matter how small the issue, if it was about the children then it had to be brought up.

As they were walking to the Science District, another of their race approached Raynar with an angry expression. It was one of his advisers as could be told from their visual attire; government styled.

"Raynar! Where have you been!?"
"Oh, sorry for holding you up. Don't think you noticed a few hours ago but we have had our guests here drop in to say hi. Don't you think we should show them some. Respect?"
"Respect? You want me to respect outsiders like them?! I can't believe you. You are way out of your mind this time---"
"Listen. I know you disagree with my leadership, but everyone has prospered since I came about. So unless you have any objections and want to quit, go ahead. But we have honoured guests to our planet. I'd advise showing some respect."
"... Fine. God I hate this job..."
"Then why'd you pick it in the first place. Dismissed."

And then he walked off angrily, muttering loudly to himself. "Don't mind him. He's just upset I got the leadership position and he didn't. Most of my advisers are either like that or just want things to go their way instead of thinking for the people over themselves like I have. Sorry you had to see that."

"Do not worry. I shall make sure the juveniles stay away from my facilities. I shall not harm them, but I will make sure they do not step foot inside. I can see through all my forms, so I will be aware off all intruders the moment they get close."

@Widowmaker

"It....is fine. Your friend seems to be rather rude. Are all high ranking individuals this hostile towards outside guests?" It would seem politics is alive and well in this galaxy. Which is good, a sign that nothing much has changed with primitive organics. Personally I am glad I do not have to deal with such dealings on a daily basis.

"All my high ranking officials are hostile against everything I do. Such is the life of it I suppose. Politicians being Politicians. But I tend not to listen to them as most of their ideas are downright cruel. One suggested we test our weapons against the animals we created, and even some suggested outright killing them. I refused to let that be the course of events. Does life that we create deserve to be killed just for the cause of science? Even I have my doubts about some decisions."

"So be it, Uca, you have my permission to mine in your designated area" Mother said as she handed over a datapad with the mapped out area he could mine

@Widowmaker

"It depends. Some would say that because you created said life means that you have 100% dominion over it. That is not my place to decide what you do however. Whatever you choose, I'm sure it'll be interesting to see."

@The King Of Rats

"Thank you Mother. I shall begin mining programs within the month." I told her

"It's actually thanks to our creations, that our place has become so habitable, after all. People can argue all they want about how some of my methods are risky, but at the end of the day, nothing bad has happened to us since I became the ruler. Enough about that though." He exclaimed, smiling towards him as they had arrived at the Science District. "Here we are." Each building had a design dedicated to whatever was being researched there. From weapons to regular life utilities to animal research, anything that can be researched will have a building dedicated to it. "Feel free to explore as much as you'd like. We have a head scientist for each craft. I'll be here when you're done."

@Widowmaker

"I see. I thank you for your time and cooperation." I began to explore the builds of the science district. It was all wonderful as I can see many experiments at a time with the same body. I watched from a distance as my military form's presence might cause trouble for the scientists, but it was an interesting journey nonetheless. Many of which resembles my creators at their early prime. I feel as if this relationship with the Magumian will be my favorite to work on.

At my homeworld of Vurax, I began to study the biology and body structure of the neighbors I have discovered already. With their discovery, I began creating diplomacy forms that will hopefully allow for smoother interactions with the populous as I do not believe that approaching normal citizens with a military form would be very productive.

(That's me saying I'm ready for a time skip.)

"Hey. You don't think..."
"I don't think what?"
"That they could just be smoothing up to us just so they can take our stuff, right?"
"Why would you suggest that? If they were here to truly do as you say, they would of attempted to kill us from the start. And if that were the case, they'd of brought more than just a small group like they did."
"Yeah... I guess so. But still, something about them just... doesn't sit right with me."
"Relax. You're overthinking things."

Raynar exclaimed, making chatter with his soldiers as the other was exploring the district. Whenever they would return is when they would continue the tour.

Time skips - 6 months

Time has passed in the wider galaxy, six standard Terran months, many things have happened in the past that lay seed for the future, clans have united, technology has been exchanged, plans have been set up and contact has been made for many nations. So, seeds have been planted and time has now been given, six months may seem like no time at all, but in the wider galaxy, empires can be made and destroyed in the blink of an eye.
(sorry this took so long, family events/problems)
(now you can continue playing, talk with other players as if time has passed)

Time had skipped for 6 months. A prototype that Raynar himself had designed had now finally been created. "Alright. Time to give this ship a test. And I know the ideal friends thanks to our first scout fleet's reports." He exclaimed as he took his flagship and jumped into the territory of a familiar faction. His fleet composition was of the stronger variety than the scout fleet initially sent to them, and now a larger capital ship with four minor variants had appeared in their system.

Of course, he didn't want to unnecessarily cause panic, so he immediately hailed the station. "This is Raynar Magnus of the Magumians. I believe our first scout fleet had the pleasure of talking with you before. Do not be alarmed, we are not here to invade. I wish to speak with the leader to discuss business as well as a... favour if I may."

With my diplomacy forms completed I sent the appropriate ones to the planets that I have contacted, making many slight variations and even basing some forms on people I have met, such as Queen of the Xetnos. This way I would be able to talk to organics outside of the leaders, without causing terrible commotion. On the planets of the Xetnos, Humans and the Bra'akesh, I planted down Planetary Nexuses and formed entire territories dedicated to mining the raw resources I require. I must admit it was quite exciting to finally, truly interact with organics in a method other then military.

(Getting myself on the stage boi)
With Uca’s arrival upon the nest, the Bra’Akesh people found themselves in a stage of rapid advancement as the robot (a new word to them) taught them advancements that would have taken centuries otherwise.

Iron was smelted into steel as architecture and agriculture bounded ahead on the Grey God’s shoulders, who had very swiftly moved in with colossal machines that dove into the earth as if fish into waves.

Yet it was not all thanks to Uca. As these machines ground and smashed and dug, the Bra’akesh learnt and adapted, with a light smattering of thievery. Most of the time the devices made little sense, but even then the Bra’akesh could adapt small parts of it. And thus they did what they did best.

Created new ways to kill.

Advancements in the military were almost daily as that field strode far ahead of all others, pushed forward by the full might of their people. Spears and armour flashed by as saws and hydraulic suits replaced them in a single massive bound.

——

Sslath clenched a gauntleted fist, the suit making small whining and writing noises as it followed through with the action. This was a new device, created directly by his Red-Mate. He found that while he had chosen her for her accomplishments, it had been a miracle of its own as he had swiftly fallen for her sharp mind and barbed tongue.

The suit was something Uca had recognised as a ‘primitive’ E.X.O suit, which acted as a reinforcing musculature and skeletal structure for his upper body. With this, his (apparently prodigious) strength would be amplified to an extreme degree.

Reaching over, he also inspected the newest weapon of his people. Well, he said his people but this device was almost entirely taken from one of Uca’s machines. A large circular saw on the end of a medium length metal pole that spun at a rapid rate, it was generally used to slice through metals and steel. It was found that it was also rather effective against all but the thickest of his people’s scales.

Placing the weapon back down, Sslath exits the suit and swiftly exits his hall, heading towards the small square block that housed their species’ benefactor. He had taken the form of one of their own, if a little... off. Just something about the figure was unsettling. The majority of his people simply took this as a sign of the A.I’s holiness, and Sslath was inclined to agree.

Entering the dwelling without any sort of fanfare, Sslath observes the bare room for a second before addressing the being within. “It has been months, and my people have advanced under your guidance. Yet I believe we have learnt all we can as we are. I wish for another boon of knowledge.”

"Oh hey! i remember you guys!" A young boys voice answered "Sure! you can come down to us, ill tell all the defense systems to lay off, we'll have everyone down there to meet you" The young voice chirped through the mic.
