(Getting myself on the stage boi)
With Uca’s arrival upon the nest, the Bra’Akesh people found themselves in a stage of rapid advancement as the robot (a new word to them) taught them advancements that would have taken centuries otherwise.
Iron was smelted into steel as architecture and agriculture bounded ahead on the Grey God’s shoulders, who had very swiftly moved in with colossal machines that dove into the earth as if fish into waves.
Yet it was not all thanks to Uca. As these machines ground and smashed and dug, the Bra’akesh learnt and adapted, with a light smattering of thievery. Most of the time the devices made little sense, but even then the Bra’akesh could adapt small parts of it. And thus they did what they did best.
Created new ways to kill.
Advancements in the military were almost daily as that field strode far ahead of all others, pushed forward by the full might of their people. Spears and armour flashed by as saws and hydraulic suits replaced them in a single massive bound.
——
Sslath clenched a gauntleted fist, the suit making small whining and writing noises as it followed through with the action. This was a new device, created directly by his Red-Mate. He found that while he had chosen her for her accomplishments, it had been a miracle of its own as he had swiftly fallen for her sharp mind and barbed tongue.
The suit was something Uca had recognised as a ‘primitive’ E.X.O suit, which acted as a reinforcing musculature and skeletal structure for his upper body. With this, his (apparently prodigious) strength would be amplified to an extreme degree.
Reaching over, he also inspected the newest weapon of his people. Well, he said his people but this device was almost entirely taken from one of Uca’s machines. A large circular saw on the end of a medium length metal pole that spun at a rapid rate, it was generally used to slice through metals and steel. It was found that it was also rather effective against all but the thickest of his people’s scales.
Placing the weapon back down, Sslath exits the suit and swiftly exits his hall, heading towards the small square block that housed their species’ benefactor. He had taken the form of one of their own, if a little... off. Just something about the figure was unsettling. The majority of his people simply took this as a sign of the A.I’s holiness, and Sslath was inclined to agree.
Entering the dwelling without any sort of fanfare, Sslath observes the bare room for a second before addressing the being within. “It has been months, and my people have advanced under your guidance. Yet I believe we have learnt all we can as we are. I wish for another boon of knowledge.”
