Traveling to and from the Nexus proves difficult without the right resources. Thankfully the Vitae family has established themselves through trade enough to provide for their members, this is Daniel Vitae's personal ship that would either be found docked at the Nexus or traveling to take care of a patient.
It comes equipped with a fully functional medical bay with two beds, isolation chambers, and equipment for treatment and analysis. There are 3 personnel rooms throughout the ship to accommodate guests and patients who don't need to stay in the med bay. There is a common area for everyone to prepare food and have access to digital records and interstellar maps, just behind the piloting section of the ship.
Not built for combat, it has no means of assault but can be remarkably quick for urgent care and has defensive shields to keep those in transport safe from any unnecessary threats.

Daniel made his way into the hangar that houses his ship with a journal in hand and a pen he was idly biting the end of. He took meticulous notes over the majority of his life, and he had to make sure that he had everything he needed stocked on his ship in case he needed it for later. While the medical bay was self-sufficient with most needs, the stock of vaccines, anti-bacteria, vitamins, and rations in the commons needed to be replenished consistently when he took the ship out for his patients.

He stopped biting the pen and brought it down to the journal as he scribbled a list of "To Order" materials, and after arriving at the ship itself he pulled out a luminescent device from his pocket that served many purposes - one of which, controlling his ship with simple commands such as releasing the on-ramp. Daniel pocketed his journal after it touched the ground and made his way inside, taking a moment to take his jacket off and put it over one of the couches in the commons are and another to release the clasp that kept the ceremonial blade at his waist. This to he set on the couch. While Daniel had a great amount of respect for his family and the emblems they carry to show their lineage, it was rather tiresome to have them on his person at all times and he enjoyed the bit of reprieve he got when returning home at the end of the day.

Making his way over to the kitchen, a rather simple addition to the commons as it was made to reflect his terran home's ancestry - he went on to fill a pot with some water and set it to a boil. It had all the amenities he wanted, but wasn't as technically advanced as a few others out on the market where meals and drinks could be prepared with a simple voice command. Still, it was his ship and he was proud of it. As the water boiled Daniel made his way over to his computer, booting it up to reveal medical articles and recent news that he shifted over to another display before opening up connection to a supplier. He was reaching into his pocket to get his journal out to review the orders when he got a message.

Pulling out his navigator he opened up an emergency message from one of his uncle's, his eyes flitted through it quickly which didn't take long as the message was rather short. Apparently he had happened upon someone injured in the Nexus and was rushing them over to his ship, taking a breath Daniel got up from his seat immediately and started making his way back towards the ramp. He hadn't raised it again because he had no need to worry about someone sneaking aboard with him inside so he got out quickly, ensuring that the entrance to the hangar was open so that they could make their way in as quickly as possible. The medical bay was always prepared to receive a patient, but hopefully he wouldn't need to use anything too severe; his uncle had been light on details with his message.

Agape stared at her new surroundings, no Xein in sight. Many strange things she had never seen before and a throbbing pain that welcomed her side. Pulling herself up she looked at her surroundings and her free hand flew to her bleeding side. This was surely not her home, and even though he adjusted shes could still feel the difference in atmosphere. She forced herself to move forward just before bumping into a man. The strange large man was lacking the horns her people had and wore strange clothes. He spoke in a strange language she had never heard before. This had made her all too curious, she lifted her brow and tilted her head wincing at the pain in her side.

The man glanced at her side and moved to help her up. Agape only stared at him in confusion, she understood nothing from his mouth. If she had the strength to speak she'd ask what he was saying. She accepted his help and watched as he pulled out another strange device and began tapping his fingers on it. This place was full of interesting new things. Maybe her adventure hadn't been completely terrible. Her pink hair stuck out in tuffs and her face had dirt from her fall. And her clothes were torn from the beast scratching her.

As the man led her to what she assumed was someone who could help she took in her surroundings, this strange place was amazing. Many different people were far from her own. She felt rather small I'm comparison. It wasn't long until they reached this very large and shiny object, Agape could only gaze at it with wonder. It was a giant's machine, and unlike anything she had ever crossed before. She wished she had the energy to explore its details more but the pain in her side was growing and she felt rather tired. Being led inside she was taken to the medical bay and placed on a strange bed. Her curiosity got the better of her as she started picking up items and examining them. "Xolti mana." Which had meant amazing in her language, but who else was to know that other than her own people.

It didn't take long for his uncle to reach the hangar, quickly being ushered inside by Daniel as he got his first glance at his new patient. Blinking idly he tried to recall any familiar sight of her people but was drawing a blank, which was rather new for him as he had gone out of his way to study the majority of discovered races and species that had happened upon the Nexus. "What happened?" Daniel asked as he got them inside and headed towards the medical bay. "Found her like this, she bumped into me in the street and had that long gash in her side. This was the first place I could think of to take her." His uncle responded, hoisting the rather small figure onto a bed so that she could take some weight off her feet.

Daniel looked to the blood coating her clothes and then to his uncle. "Well, it doesn't look like we'll lose her any time soon; I should be able to handle it from here but..." Daniel trailed off, watching her reach for some of his tools as she spoke an unknown language. "But I don't think there's any record of her kind here. At least, none that I've seen before - I should be able to handle it just fine, just a forewarning that I'm not familiar with all that can happen here. Thank you, Uncle." Daniel nodded in respect before he moved over to a counter across from his patient that had a box full of gloves for him to put on. It took but a moment for him to do so, grabbing a form of anti-bacterial bandages and some sealing foam he brought both over to the bed as his uncle watched in a bit of curiosity. "I have places to be Daniel, but I take it you're covered from here. Please let me know how it goes, I'll send you some good food and some other luxuries to make the patient's stay a little easier. Who knows what you keep here." His uncle chided with a laugh, earning a nod from Daniel and a shake of his head to dismiss his humor as his attention stuck to the patient.

Noticing that she still held on to some of his implements he gently tried to get her attention. "Hello?" He murmured softly but audibly, waving about a foot in front of her to get her gaze. Given that she would meet his own, he would set both of his implements down on either side of her before taking a breath. From the language she spoke he had no familiarity with, but she seemed fairly curious about his tools which showed a hint of some intelligence so he was hoping gestures would be enough for now.

Daniel made an effort to show his open palms, while gloved he knew it as a universal symbol of "I mean no harm" - instead he glanced towards the wound on her side. It was serious, and still bleeding so he knew that to minimize any danger to her he would want to work fast. Daniel waved again to try and get her attention, before lifting his shirt to mid-torso with one hand before grabbing the bandages with the other. He made a show of tearing a bit of it ready to wrap, mimicking how he could use it for her on himself while trying to maintain eye contact with her. He moved the bandages closer towards her after, trying to express in some way that he would need her to lift her shirt to some degree so he would have access to the injury. Oh please tell me they had doctors of some sort where she's from or this is going to come across as incredibly strange.

Agape glanced at another strange man walk into the room, they both were taller than her and lacked her people's features. Yet, they looked similar. Maybe they shared the same family? Agape heard their talking but mostly ignored their strange language examining the strange items before her. 'Mother would love this,' she thought. When the other man left and the younger-looking one walked in front of her she stared at him, before looking back at the object. When he spoke waving she tilted her head and glanced up at him. Was he trying to give her a greeting? "Onit." She mocked his wave and gave him a smile, realizing that this might help him understand she too was saying hello.

She placed the strange item back where she had taken it from and looked around the room before bringing her attention back to the man. His ope palmed gesture made her want to chuckle, she had assumed he was peaceful. Though the only people she had ever met were her own and they were not the type to harm anyone, not even a stranger. Agape had blindly assumed he was going to help her and would be as kind as her people. Once again her gaze drifted off to the room around her, she wanted to get up and explore this room and its many strange items, but her side was in far to much pain to do so.

When the man waved again she pulled her gaze from the ceiling and the light above her to stare at him. When he lifted his shirt she rose her brow, such strange customs these beings had. She watched as he grabbed what looked like the wraps her people used for wounds and wrap it around his torso. She slowly moved her eyes to meet his and smiled once again. "Petri Namt." Agape used her hands to push herself into a sitting position and began to untie the knot on her shirt. Struggling for just a brief moment before she got it free. She slowly lifted her shirt wincing as she peeled it from the wound. Once she had done so successfully she lifted her gaze and looked at him with an awkward pained look before nodding her head as if giving him permission to help her.

Her speech wasn't too far off those of the other species that had arrived at the Nexus, but still unfamiliar to his own which made conversation difficult. Thankfully her facial expressions told plenty as she seemed to smile and lighten up as she started to take in her surroundings. It was good to see that, not everyone responded so well to being injured - but it was patients like these that made his job easy. As she started to untie her shirt he prepared to help, and as the injury was exposed to the air he didn't waste any time in bringing the spray over. With a light douse of it he covered the wounds, which would elicit a stinging sensation but would effectively sterilize whatever had caused the cuts and from the looks of things it seemed like she was attacked by something with claws or talons. In either case a potential contamination so he needed to clean the wound first.

Before he set about with the bandages Daniel reached to another drawer, bringing out a cloth from a large stack of them as he got about mopping up some of the blood that was along her side; occasionally spritzing her wound with the spray. "You're doing well." Daniel spoke allowed, sure that she couldn't understand him but a soft tone normally did well to soothe patients all the same. As the wound was cleaned he reached over to his bandages once more, reaching around her waist to get it started behind her. Her sitting position helped as he went over and over, keeping one hand on her side - firm, which may agitate the wound but it had to be if he wanted the bandages to hold tight while the other brought the roll around and around till he had a few layers crossing over the sizable cut.

As he finished wrapping and dressing the wound he went about cleaning the space, rinsing his tools clean from any blood that remained on his gloves before putting them away. As he grabbed the cloth he had used to wipe up the excess blood his eyes piqued in interest, the scent was a bit different and as it met his nostrils his stomach started to growl softly. Shaking his head he refocused, folding the cloth and setting it down in the sink but not thoroughly rinsing or disposing of it as of yet. If things got worse, or if she was a new race, that would skip him the trouble of asking for a blood sample later. Hopefully she wouldn't mind his inability of asking for one.

Taking a long breath Daniel reached into yet another drawer of his, this one full of a small knick knacks and trinkets that may seem a bit strange - taking a moment to pull one out and hand to her. It was a small ball, soft to the touch and colored like a moon - if she were to squeeze it she would find that it would be malleable. It was very much a stress ball, and he reached out to give it to the hand on her wounded side after showing her how to squeezable it was by demonstrating it in front of her. Did it have a large medical purpose? No, not really. It did help with circulation and kept her body aware and her focus away from the wound which made it serve as a distraction in two ways. He had left his pot of boiling water in the kitchen and needed to get back to it.

Daniel waved again to get her attention, smiling as he tried not to laugh at himself as he gestured a "stay" motion with his hands, hoping that it would make sense before making his exit to the kitchen. It didn't take him long to brew his tea, and now that he had a guest he made a second cup as his computer downloaded a translator from the database that would help him start to piece together her language in some way. With navigator in tow and cups in hand he made his way back to the medical bay, setting a cup down atop a drawer beside her with an offering gesture as he brought his own to his lips - a soft blow before taking a sip of his lavender tea. This beat reading medical articles for the night, and with the potential of being a newly discovered race he was a quite excited.

She eyed him curiously as he moved towards her with a spray bottle, Agape's breath hitched as the feeling of the spray against her wound. It stung but she knew it was probably for the best. Her arms were getting tired from holding her shirt up so she carefully tucked it in her bosom before sighing slightly and letting her hands lean against the large bed she was placed on. With every spritz of the spray, she winced but made no attempt at moving away. The pain was just proof that she would heal safely. When the man spoke again she pulled her glance from watching him clean the blood from her side. Of course, she had no idea what his was saying but the tone in his voice was nice. Once he finally finished cleaning the wound she let out a small breath of relief, the hard part was over.

Agape watched him reach over to the bandages and lifted her arms to allow him to wrap the bandages around her waist. Her arms quickly grew tired of that as well so she settled for holding them close to her chest. Every time the gauze ran over her wound she tensed and her face scrunched into a wince. That monster had done quite the number, she'd be lucky to not be stuck with a nasty scar. Once she did figure out where she was and how to at least contact her parents she knew they would panic at the sight of the scar. She was after all of age to be handed off. Agape had started staring off into space as he finished tending to her wound. She had barely noticed that he walked away until she turned to look at him again.

Noticing he was no longer right by her wound she lowered her shirt back down, she would have to fix her clothes later they were torn from the cut. Agape sighed at the sight and began looking around the room for the man until she spotted him reaching into a drawer. When he pulled out the small round rock-looking thing. She reached out and tenderly took it from him and held it in front of her. She turned it in her hands, before squishing it in her palm. opening her palm she watched it lift itself back to life. Her bright green eyes lit up in excitement and almost seemed to glow with interest. This small round thing was very interesting, she wondered what it was used for. When the man waved again her head snapped up and she had and excited but curious look in her eyes. When he made another motion she only stared at him confused and watched as he left.

Agape shrugged and pulled her focus back to the ball, she lifted it to her nose and the smell made her nose crinkle in response. It did not small edible, but maybe it was a food of sorts. Feeling like this was the possible answer she took a small bite out of the ball, chewing the piece in her mouth she frowned. If this was a cookie it was not very delicious, maybe these people just had a bad taste in food. Agape swallowed the piece and lowered the ball in her hands before looking around again. The room was very light-colored and there was one other bed in the room like the one she was seated on, there were many other instruments. Hopefully, the man would let her explore and take some of the items with her. When the man came back and set the liquid beside her she stared at it for a moment before looking at him. Agape dropped the bitten into ball in place of the cup and carefully picked up the cup lifting the liquid to her lips. She copied his blow before taking a sip and glanced at him as she did so. "Unhil." She nodded to him gesturing that she was giving him thanks for helping her and for the tea. The tea was warm and she closed her eyes giving a small sigh of satisfaction at the taste.

Daniel was happy with his tea, normally reserved for the end of his day he had been preparing it earlier to wind down but it felt even better after a bit of work. He took another sip as his eyes caught on to something interesting, the ball she had set on his flat drawer was still? Reaching out he lifted the stress ball up and the sight of it made him immediately laugh to himself. She had taken a bite out of it! He thumbed over the lost bit of the stress ball as his laugh died down, it was an enthusiastic bite it seemed. "You must be hungry then." He mentioned to himself, taking another sip of his drink before bringing his attention back to his patient.

Communication - How quickly someone could take it for granted, but he knew the difficulty well enough here in the Nexus. Daniel reached for his navigator and thumbed through a few applications till he found his most recent download, a translator and language program. It was what was used here in the Nexus to teach new races the common tongue, as well as help translate between two if matters were meant to be kept private or cultures respected. He turned it on an was greeted by a small jingle as a small Owl with a spacesuit, the program's mascot greeted him. Spacelingo. How appropriate.

It would take some time for it to realize if she knew any of the languages on it, so he figured he'd make the most of the time by preparing for the night. Daniel pocketed his navigator for now, and held his cup in one hand before trying to get his patient's attention. When he managed to get it he would motion for her to follow, but remain still as to offer her a hand to get up. He took a mental note to keep crutches or a cane on hand for similar cases next time, but it wasn't often he was in need of one so he would have to make do and get one ordered later.

When Agape opened her eyes again she saw the man pick up the ball and thumb over it before bursting into a fit of laughter. She sat her drink down carefully and stared between him and the ball confused. Had he lost his mind because she didn't finish his terrible snack? She lifted a hand to scratch her pink hair her green eyes littered with confusion. When he spoke she only tilted her head again and moved her gaze back to the cup. Agape copied his motion once more before finishing the drink, it relaxed her and held a nice scent. Now that the delicious liquid was gone she could examine the smallholder it was in. Lifting it to her eye level her eyes examines the design and the strange material it was made from. Pointing to it she glanced at the man, "Ait Enru?" She knew the man probably couldn't understand her but she wanted to take it home with her. Agape paused lowering her hand for a moment, trying to explain herself until her eyes lit up, hoping to meet his gaze she looked at him. Lifting her hand again she pointed at the cup and then held it close to her, "Ait..Enru?"

Agape watched the man pull out yet another strange device and watched as it made a small bell-like noise. When she figured out how t communicate with this man she would ask where she could get one of those strange bight bell machines. Seeing that he was busy she went back to picking things up around her and examining them, there were many items much like the things doctors used back home, at least some things looked similar. Was this man a doctor? Seeing how he fixed her wound she assumed that might be the case. When the man caught her attention again she watched his motions and blinked for a moment before taking his hand.

Agape lifted wincing as she did so and glanced up at him examining his features. She was so much smaller than him, and his strange clothes and even stranger characteristics wondered what he was. The people on her planet had bright colored hair and eyes. While the man before and he both had darker features. He also lacked the horns her people adorned on their heads, and his ears were curved like hers either. Instinctively Agape reached up to touch her own horns and wondered if maybe she was the strange one on this planet. It also brought up that she didn't know his name, as he didn't know hers.

Being able to stand on her own was a good sign, he was somewhat worried that the act alone would drain her. While every species had their own limit, blood loss most often led to exhaustion as the body tried to replicate what it was missing but she seemed to be able to stand and hold her own weight just fine. As she reached for her own horns his eyes followed, curious as to the reason but his rough guess was just a check up to ensure that she wasn't injured elsewhere.

Once he was certain she could stand on her own he started to move towards the door, beckoning her to follow as he made his way towards the common area. This was a first for him, while he had many patients stay over and use the common area he never had a language barrier that lasted for long as technology had it's way of solving those problems. For now, he would have to rely on it again to see if they could come up with a solution. Daniel reached into his pocket and grabbed out the navigator, setting it down face-up on the lowered island that sat between the couches. He offered his patient a seat at one with an open palm before moving back to the kitchen. As he did he looked back to see what would be catching her attention, he would have to start finding a way to get her to speak and give the system a chance to try and understand her language. If only he had the tech from his friends, who seemed to be able to understand virtually any language at will - maybe he'd put in a request for their program.

Daniel reached out and picked up a bowl of fruit, and went to sit it down on the island in front of the couch as well before moving back to a work desk to pick up a pen and paper. Many other coworkers of his had moved on to digital outlets, and while they had their place and Daniel used them to correspond he appreciated the task of writing things down himself. It helped him commit more to memory and was an effective process of keeping a schedule on him through his journal. He set the paper down in front of her along with a pen, seeing how she was handling the objects he was placing down - but he started with something simple. "Apple." He stated plainly, lifting one from the bowl and holding it aloft as he tried to meet her gaze. His device beeped, picking up and displaying "Common" as the detected language and displaying a small image of a very similar apple on the screen.

Agape let her hand fall from her horn and followed him to a larger room. It reminded her of her mother's dancing room back home. She looked around the room, it looked simple but was laced with many things she had never seen before. Thinking back it made her miss her home, she had been traveling for three years before she had decided to head home. And as her luck would have it she nearly died in doing so. When she was offered a seat she moved towards the couch and crouched down to look at the material it was made from. Most of the items her people used were made from ice, the snow-like crystals, grass, or wood. She poked at the couch before walking around it examining the tables and ornaments that adorned the rest of the room. After a brief moment of that, she carefully sat on the couch and bounced herself. It was soft and rather comfy.

After sitting she saw the man walk from another room carrying a bigger round holder with colorful items. She peered curiously at the bowl, most of the items on her planet had strange colors and weren't nearly as simple. When he set down the thin sheet of paper and pen she picked up the pen twirling it over in her fingers. She recognized the paper, yet her people used a much thicker version. She assumed this was their writing utensil. His kind had such strange objects in their houses. Well, what she assumed to be his house. She placed the pen back on the table before her green eyes met his.

When he spoke she stared between the object and him until the small machine beeped and replicated the object in his hand. Her head quickly turned to the beeping device and her green eyes started glowing with excitement. Agape whipped her attention back to the man and grabbed an object from the bowl. It was bright in color, little to her knowledge it was a banana. "Nuit Ane." She held it out towards him and looked at him excited, did the machine work for all objects? How did it replicate the object? Her green eyes almost seemed neon from her excitement.

As she lifted the banana from the bowl Daniel watched on in interest, these were common fruits for his species and were a quick way for him to start giving out words and testing a language barrier. Unfortunately as she responded to him, his phone came up with a small error message - no result from "Nuit Ane". Smiling softly his brain was searching for a good course of action, while it wasn't impossible to teach someone a language he knew that it could be rather difficult all the same. Would he really have the time to invest in this? Pondering the thought his gaze was lost for a few moments, but as his attention shifted back to his patient and he saw the neon light in her eyes that shimmered with a fit of excitement he lost all worries in putting in the effort.

"Banana." He repeated almost half a minute after she spoke, his navigator beeping once more in response as it showed a digital version of the fruit she was holding. He moved on to point at the brightest yellow portion of the banana, speaking aloud "Yellow." as his navigator beeped once more - this time filling the screen with a yellow square with the word directly above it. He took a moment to point back towards the apple, "Red." No sooner had the word left his mouth than the little device beeped again, this time the square replaced with a red one with the new name held above.

The exercise was a bit entertaining for Daniel to think about, just how long would it take to teach another race a language? At the very least she was articulate, she could speak and had a language of her own to guide by but he couldn't be certain how advanced it is. Her attire spoke of a civilization, so she couldn't be that far behind in anything so maybe he was worrying about it too much. Without taking the banana from her, Daniel spoke aloud "Food." to which his navigator beeped and showed a photo of a 2D human biting into an apple. Why was it that when food was considered, apples were the first thing to come to peoples minds? He pointed to both the banana and apple and repeated the word "Food." again; but made sure that she wouldn't go right ahead and try to bite into the banana. He had already lost a stress ball that way, he wouldn't put it past the new patient to try and bite into a banana with it's peel intact.

Daniel set the apple back down and reached out to the banana in her grasp, tugging at the top end so that it came apart just a little to reveal the softer inside. From there he would sit back and watch what she would do, her first reaction may be a bit more telling about her culture and habits than anything else he could get out of her at the moment.

Agape stared at him intently until he answered her, she glanced at the machine as it replicated the item. She was eager to learn his language. When he pointed to the brighter part of the banana she watched as the little device made a block with what she assumed were words above it. She had the urge to touch the projection but fought it. Agape leaned towards the device careful not to squish the object in her hand, blinking she examined it. When he spoke again she glanced at him just in time to see his point towards the apple and say it's color. The machine yet again popped up with a block but a different set of words. "Xolti mana!" She repeated the words she had said before and turned to him.

When he said 'food' she watched the device show a person, one that looked like his kind, biting into something that looked like the first object he had. When the man repeated the word pointing between the banana and apple she nodded slowly processing it. She leaned back from the object and faced him, so these were items to eat. She only hoped they tasted better than that small rock from before. Agape allowed him to open the object her eyes widened when he peeled it.

Agape lifted it to her face and examined it before taking a bite, it was sweet. Not at all bitter like the object from before. She thought for a moment, she had always been a fast learner so to learn his language couldn't have been that hard. She chewed slowly with her mouth politely closed and her eyes lifted her gaze to the side as she tried to recall what the object was called. When it clicked she swallow the banana and looked at him before pointing at it. "Anana." Agape's face was full of excitement, had she said it right? The banana was a bit softer than some of the sweets she was used to but she had a quick solution. Waiting for his response she copied his motion of peeling and placed the peel in her lap. Holding the softer part of the banana her hair turned white in color and her eyes blue, she almost seemed to glow, she froze the banana a thin frost-covered it before she decided to take another bite. Her features stayed in its brighter state for a brief moment before going back to normal.

Her excited exclamation drew his attention as he tried to process what she could be saying, of course the words didn't match the food as they clearly seemed foreign to his patient but at the very least she was attempting to make conversation. Teaching her common would help her acclimate to the whole of Nexus so he was certain that this was necessary, but in order to learn more about her race he would want to get an idea of her own language and culture. 'I could write a book.' He thought to himself, but in truth it would be more like a medical report on the newest race to the Nexus. It wasn't fairly uncommon for them to arrive, but it wasn't something Daniel had ever been involved with previously - he was more an avid reader of the information than anyone that participated. He may want to reach out to see what more standard procedures were so he could better help her settle in.

Another thing to add to his to do list. Daniel took out his journal and another pen, this one he kept on his person as he started to write down some some new resources to order alongside what he had scribbled down previously. His attention drew back to his patient though as he looked over what remained of her torn outfit, taking a moment to write "Clothes" among the list. He didn't mind getting necessities for the patient, he was fortunate to have his family raise him here at the Nexus but for the large majority of newcomers they were left to their own devices as they went on to figure out how to adapt to the culmination of worlds.

As she started to chew into the banana his eyes shifted back to watch for a moment before reaching out to the apple he had previously set down, lifting it from the table and taking a bite out of it himself. He hadn't eaten anything proper yet, but this would do to tide him over as his stomach growled ominously to remind him of his obligation to feed it. For a moment he pondered what to make, looking at the horns on his patient reminded him of a few animals that preferred vegetable based diets and fruits so he wasn't too keen on preparing a lot of meat - which unfortunately was his preferred meal of choice since the experiment as it was one of the more filling options he had. His thoughts were broken though as she got his attention, earning a raised brow before she went on to speak.

Daniel smiled softly as she pronounced "Anana", to which he repeated back to her: "Ba-na-na." Putting a emphasis on the first syllable to let her know it was present. "Banana." He repeated once more all together. He would leave her with the device or teach her how to use his computer's program for it at some point so that when he would be working she'd have an opportunity to study on her own. Hopefully it would yield some from of progress. He was about to go back to a planning mode when his patient started to glow, bringing his attention to snow-white hair, gleaming irises and a new chill in the air. He stared on - awestruck at the spectacle as she began to shift back to the form he was initially familiar with. "Well that's new." He said to himself, his phone beeping as an error as it had read up on Banana earlier but didn't take to sentences well. Shapeshifter would be the apt description for that, at least, he thought so but the language program probably wouldn't be able to depict that well. "Follow." Daniel stated again, this time beckoning her on just like before - his navigator beeped once more, this time showing an image of one man trailing behind another. He was moving towards his computer so he can start ordering a few things, and figured this might be a learning opportunity.

When he repeated the word back to her she bit her lip and the focused on trying again. "Ban-ana." Hearing that the word sounded a lot more like the way he had spoken she beamed at her own intelligence. After she frosted her food she glanced at the man when he spoke, he seemed shocked by her shift. Did his people not possess abilities like this? She finished the food and hummed in delight. When the man spoke yet against she looked at the device and eyed the mage carefully before looking back to the man. "O-Ollow." The weird first syllables these people had were a bit tricky, she didn't see a use in the first letter. And it sounded correct for the most part.

Agape looked to the device for confirmation and frowned when she received an error. She picked up the device off the table gently before following him towards the computer. When they stopped moving she turned the device over in her hands and examined it before holding it in front of her. "Waut Uen." She waited for the device to show her a picture of the food she spoke of and frowned when it gave her an error. She huffed and lowered the device holding it out to Daniel for him to take. Maybe she would learn the language first and then proceed to use the device, it couldn't identify anything she said.

Her attempts at speaking their language were productive, she wasn't too far off and seemed like she was adamantly giving it her best. It would take some time but she was putting in some effort so he was hopeful for results as they moved on. "F-F-F" He repeated lightly, ensuring it was understood. "Follow." He repeated, hearing a delighted beep from the device in her hands as it recognized his language.

Taking a seat at his desktop he pulled up a few windows, taking his journal out he quickly went through the typical orders that were saved for him and easy selections. What came next were the additions - An adjustable crutch for height, extra food, and a similar navigator to his own that he could install the translator on for her. He couldn't just leave his own with her all the time as he needed it for work, but he figured that something handheld and simple would let her learn at her own pace if he didn't want her sitting in front of the monitor at all times. The next portion he needed some input on though so he made sure that he had her attention.

He turned back to her, noticing that she was offering his nav back to him so he took it from her grasp before speaking aloud "Clothes", to which with a little jingle the nav showed a full terran outfit laid out in 2D form. Pants, shirt, shoes, socks, all lying about. Daniel showed this image to his new patient for a few moments, then pointed at her torn clothes - giving it a few moments to hopefully sink in before he tried to draw her attention over to the monitor.

He had managed to pull up a clothing gallery of women's attire, enlarging the display so it would pop out and be easier for her to see. Slowly, he began to scroll through them all. Now if only he could find a way to communicate for her to pick one out. "You need new clothes, we could potentially look into fixing yours later but.." He trailed off, speaking to himself for a moment as he looked through the selection. "But you'll want something for the mean time, probably comfortable." His nav remained silent, as it wasn't able to comprehend complex sentences and display images accordingly. "Select?" Daniel muttered, to this the phone ringed and showed a picture of someone looking at a variety of ice cream flavors, pointing at their favorite. "Choose?" With another ding, a similar image appeared but instead it was of two apples, one red and one green, with a hand reaching out to grab the red one.

Daniel sighed softly, looking between his patient and the monitor - strange powers aside, it seemed reasonable to believe she had her own civilization and would be able to get along just fine here.

Agape scrunched up her nose, so it seemed the first letter was useful after all. "Fol-low." She annunciated it to made sure she could pronounce it properly, it was a weird word for her to say. But, she was happy that she could pronounce it. If she could learn how to work this mechanism she could learn a lot of words in a day. She watched him sit in the chair and mess with another machine. This one lit up and several pages popped up, she watched in awe. They had many more advancements than her home planet, maybe this was a good place for her adventure. She watched as the man clicked various items, she wondered where they were going.

When he took the smaller device and spoke she looked at him before mocking his words. "Clothe." When the smaller screen showed items that she wore she glanced at her own clothes. They were rather torn, she would need to change out of them until she could fix them. Hearing him speak in sentences she only blinked a little more than confused. The device didn't beep so she assumed it hadn't understood everything he said. When he spoke in smaller words she looked as the device beeped in response. According to the pictures, the man wanted her to pick out clothes, the clothes on the page she wasn't familiar with. Her people normally wore clothes meant for agility. Though she couldn't deny that some of them were cute. "Selet Clothe. Choos?" Agape turned her head from the devices to face him, she had leaned closer to him, her people didn't really care about personal space so it didn't bother her.

People in her world were very friendly, men and women alike held no shame or embarrassment. There was no war other than that against the Xein that attacked her kind. And everyone taught and treated everyone regardless of status with kindness. Her people were rather naive when it came to things like cruelty and people taking advantage of them. But, this planet had yet to be seen by outsiders so that had never really mattered.

His patient was picking up things quickly. Although the words pronunciation was a bit choppy it was understandable, at least if you expected the issues coming into the conversation. Her interest in the technology was noted as each new thing seemed to draw her attention - her eagerness to learn was welcomed, the adjustment period to a new world would come a lot easier with a student mentality. "Clothes." He repeated after her to give her some confidence, he truly didn't want to go into singular and plural changes at the moment but he was sure that the information would be given in time.

As she put some of the words together to form a sentence he smiled and nodded along in excitement. "Yes, select clothes." Valor mentioned, taking a moment to glance back at the clothes he was looking at. He hadn't really looked for anything specific, but as she looked between the images and herself he turned his attention to the desktop so he could find something more suitable. It seemed she preferred lighter clothing.. Well, that would make this a bit easier than. With a fit of typing Daniel pulled up a new website, emblazoned with a logo that both adorned the ship and his coat that sat idly on one of the couches. With a bit of typing he found himself at another clothing section, however the clothes here shared the same coloration with only a few different designs - they were outfits designed for representatives of Vitae which included business partners and direct family. "Choose." He repeated, now looking at a few different options for clothing.

These were women's outfits, but provided 3 selections. The first was a light dress of red with golden accents with the logo emblazoned on a shawl that went with it. The second was closer to leather, both for the leggings and an accompanied jacket that had the logo on a lapel. The leather itself was a reddish brown with a fainter golden trim for the seams. The last was a more professional cloth, a red skirt and business jacket that shone a rose red with intricate patterns of gold inlaid with the logo at the hem of the skirt in addition to the sleeves of the jacket. The last was typically reserved for matriarch's or women of power in the family, but Daniel knew he wouldn't get into any real trouble should he order it. That is of course something negative were to happen while someone was wearing it in a recognizable space.

Agape smiled at his excitement before she turned to look at the items on the screen. They were stuffy in her opinion, something that she had never seen before. And especially not something she'd think she would ever wear. When the man's full attention went back to the laptop she watched in awe as the screens changed before he had another set of clothing on the screen. When she was told to choose again she glanced at him before diverting her attention fully on the screen in front of them. "Choose clothe-es?" She had mumbled this to herself to get familiar with the terms he had said before.

According to the smaller device, choose and select meant around the same, he only wanted her to pick from the options. Agape stared at the pictures with wonder, these were such pretty clothes. The first set of clothes looked like something her mother would buy only with different colors she wasn't very familiar with. The second looked like something a hunter would wear, for easy travels and movement. The third was bright and looked more like something from the high elders of the court. She placed a finger on her chin and tapped thinking about her decision. When she finally came to one she snapped her fingers and smiled.

Leaning over him she pointed to the second option, it would be easier for her to move around. Though she would have liked the first option it didn't seem great for a lot of mobility. And if she was to explore as she was hoping she would need something easy to move in. The last option reminded her of her grandfather, trying to get her with the aristocrats. Agape pointed to the second option and looked at him eagerly, "Choose Clothes."

Daniel nodded to reinforce her language as she repeated after him, it didn't take long for her to catch on to his goal which made the job a lot easier. As she looked between the 3 new options that he had presented he waited patiently, wondering what kind of consideration she was putting into her choice. At the snap of her fingers he perked up, glancing at her than turning his gaze back to the monitor as she selected the 2nd option. "Leather." He mentioned idly, his phone beeping as it registered the word and displayed that same kind of material but in a more brown coloration.

It was a quick transaction for him to order the outfit along with the rest of his materials, and he could expect everything to arrive in the morning with the way business was handled here at the Nexus. Taking a breath to settle himself he looked back to his patient, "Clothes chosen." He repeated simply, a little different than what she was saying but he would eventually have to find a way to teach her past, present and future tense. "Morning." He said again, this time his phone beeped to display a sunset. He let the image stay for a bit so she could register the sight of it before he moved on to the next, "Arrive." At this the phone beeped again, showing a man looking at a picture with an X marks the spot and right before him was a large X on the ground. Funny, hopefully it worked.

As his phone finished the display Daniel couldn't help but stifle a yawn, it had already gotten pretty late there and he was starting to feel the exhaustion dawn on him. With the supplies ordered and preparation for the next day set it was nearing the right time for him to get some rest, he turned towards his patient and looked her up and down once more. She was shorter than him by a fair amount, and despite the horns and coloration was still humanoid so he figured she may have a similar need for rest but he could never be too certain. There were plenty of nocturnal races here, with some species not resting in his traditional sense. Maybe he'd have to translate this through the app as well.
