Reaper is Vokrec’s Soul Bound Weapon. Created through secret Ravinca Soul Forging techniques. The weapons base form is a medallion, but it can morph into nearly type of weapon based on Vokrec’s thoughts. With the most common forms being a modern tactical assault rifle, or a sword. The gem in it holds the last fragment of his Father (the founder of Ravinca) and his Older Brother.

Passive Abilities:
  • Supernatural Condition - Being a Demon, his physiology is far superior to that of an ordinary human. On top of this, having been descended from one of the founders, and spending years training in the military has further heightened his strength and speed past that of most Demons.
  • Elemental Regeneration- By using the device holding back his clan ability, he can use the converted energy to constantly heal himself. By itself;
    • Minor wounds such as cuts, bruises, and light burns heal faster than normal.
    • Recovering from minor to moderate blood loss.
    • Critical wounds such as lost limbs, damaged nerves, and internal organs cannot be regenerated, as wounds would simply close up faster and lost organs remain lost.
    • Cells that are fatally damaged, such as by burning, cannot be regenerated, resulting in permanent scarring.
Active Abilities:
  • Technomagic - Vokrec can combine magic and technology in various ways and to various extents. While the strength in this power is its versatility, Vokrec can only do it at the basic level, which is create and mimic technology via magic. While he is learning to expand the scope of this power, he is limited by needing to have theoretical/practical knowledge of magic and technology. Additionally, without the aid of technological gadgets and arcane focuses, using this type of magic can do serious harm to the caster.
  • Metal Manipulation - Vokrec can shape and manipulate metal, a solid material (an element, compound, or alloy) that is typically hard, shiny, and features good electrical and thermal conductivity. Metals are generally malleable—they can be hammered or pressed permanently out of shape without breaking or cracking—as well as fusible (able to be fused or melted) and ductile (able to be drawn out into a thin wire). He cannot create metal, so is limited to control metal that is already around.
  • Psychometry - By touching something, Vokrec can obtain historical memories or sensations concerning beings and objects. With objects, he gains knowledge including the makers, users, and even those who have on passing used the object, and what has been done with it. With living beings or parts of the body, he learns their general life-history but doesn't gain anything of what they were thinking or feeling. It is limited to physical sensations. He feels like he experiences the history happening to him, which can be quite distressing. Also he has to touch the item
  • Soul Forging - Vokrec understands and can practice the Basics of Soul Forging. An ancient Ravinca technique for creating things out of souls. While Vokrec lacks any way to remove a soul from a living body, his Technomagic can allow him to harvest one from the recently dead. Soul Forging is an intensive process that is long, tedious and requires a lot of magical equipment to forge a soul into something useful. It fell out of Practice when the Demons left Hell, as souls became less abundant and they found themselves being hunted by the Black across. Even the smallest mistake when Soul Forging can be fatal to the one doing the Forging. It can only be done in the Soul Forges of Ravinca, as it is the only place in Haven that has the equipment and containment facilities to allow such a dangerous practice. Vokrec hasn’t been there since his brother died, not has he attempted Soul Forging in more than a thousand years
  • CLAN - Black Lightning Manipulation - Vokrec can create, shape and manipulate the electricity of a darker, detrimental nature; that which damages, destroys, and consumes anything/everything they come across, representing the hazardous destructive side of electricity, which in turn ignores most of the limitations and weaknesses of the normal electricity. In essence, this is about solely controlling the negative powers of electricity. It is much harder to control, so when he uses it, it is much more point and shoots than other manipulations. It is very easy to lose control, sometimes doing more damage to the caster and their allies than to the enemy. As such, Vokrec has sealed this power away behind several blocks, both mental and physical. Including a technological device implanted in his chest that converts the black lightning building up inside him into a more manageable form of energy to fuel his gadgets and weapon.

Personality: Vokrec Thoridge is disillusioned to Haven. While most see a utopia for Demons, Vokrec has seen the dark underbelly. Having worked in Law Enforcement in both the Neutral Zone and Ravinca for about two thousand years, he has seen what Demons can do to each other when they get mad enough. As such, he has often been said to have a grim disposition. He also makes no attempt to hide the fact that he didn't want to be the leader, but traditions were traditions. So, he reluctantly turns up to the meetings. He has implemented a council to run the day-to-day and has them report to his Second in Command. Though he does still work closely with Law Enforcement, but more as Consulting Detective than a leader, as he enjoys the simplicity of just solving a murder to the intricacies of Haven Politics. He has been heard saying "Haven is like any other City. Like a Casino. Somebody has to Win, which means somebody has to lose. As long as I'm not the one losing, I couldn't give two shits."

Bio: Vokrec Thoridge was the second born Son of the Founder of Ravinca. As such, his older brother was groomed to be a good leader from a young age. As per tradition, Vokrec was groomed to join the Military/Law Enforcement. So, at a young age, he began training with the Ravinca Police and ended up as a young detective. Doing fairly well. His father was proud of him, but he saw things he couldn't unsee. He was on the job the day Haven was attacked. He was one of the first responders. Vokrec saw a lot of people die. He saw his father die. Going back to his brother that afternoon to deliver the news was hard. What followed was the rebuilding. Ravinca had lost its faith in the Other Clans. Black Rose was supposed to be in charge of Security, yet they had failed. Vokrec's brother ordered the creation of the Midnight Legion. A group of Ravinca Special Forces operatives, who would work within and for Ravinca. For nearly a thousand years, Black Rose security Forces were not allowed in Ravinca. Vokrec was nominated to lead the Midnight Legion, and he did. With great service. As the rebuilding of Haven came to a close, and things began to get back to normal, Vokrec's brother began to get back into Soul Forging. A terrible mistake that would cost him life. Vokrec inherited the position of Leader reluctantly and reopened Ravinca to allow Black Rose Security Forces to continue their work as they had before the attack. The Midnight Legion still exists and keeps an eye on the Black Rose forces to make sure nothing unsavoury happens, but Vokrec has been building for a more unified Haven.

Extra: His brand is on the base of his neck.

So, two things about this sheet that I must bring up. One is about the ability Psychometry. I'm cool with you being able to do what the ability does and all that, though there will be certain items and people in the roleplay that this ability will not be able to to affect. Five examples would be:

  • The tome that contains all the knowledge of Haven created by the Founders contained inside of the table within the meeting room.
  • The table itself within the meeting room that holds the tome.
  • Dominik.
  • The cell of the one prisoner locked away inside the prison underneath the city.
  • The prisoner itself.

These are just some examples. Also, I'm sure you are already aware but I am bringing it up anyway to avoid anyone stating anything later on to have proof I said it already...but make sure if you "touch" anyone's character or anyone's belongings that is an actual player controlled character, that you get permission from them about what the history of said person or item they carry is in case there is not any information on it written down.

__

The other is about your Soul Forge ability.
As I read and from what it appears to be...you will not be using this much to at all but if you do end up using it. Do make sure what you create out of using a 'soul' does have it's limitations and that nothing too crazy comes out of it in the end.

Since you are using a soul, the possibilities could end up ranging to be limitless is why I bring this up.

__

Other than those two things, everything else is all set with me.
