OOC Rules & Misc.
1. Site Rules apply to the RP.
2. Swearing is not allowed at all so keep the RP PG as much as possible. I'm sure most people are fine with dark subjects but no blood, obsessive violence, sexual imagery and such.
3. NO LEGENDARY STARTERS!!!
4. Mega-Evolution will be a thing, but you will not be able to get it right off the bat.
5. Understand that if you are primarily going to RP as a person. You can RP as your pokemon if you wish, but remember that they'll most likely going to in your pokeball like 80% of the time.
6. I am going to determine what pokemon you encounter, their abilties, and when your pokemon evolves. You can select the pokemon's default move set. Any moves can be chosen for the pokemon but the set must come from the pokemon's naturally learned moveset.
7. Battles are going to be more like the Anime. Stats and Status will play a secondary role as Tactics, Skill and Strategy will be the primary factor in winning.Don't be an idiot however. A elderly, wild Charizard will more then likely decimate your trained and fresh Bulbasaur. Moves will be strong based on the pokemon as well so a Charizard's Flamethrower will be way stronger then a Magby's Flamethrower.

Alright. Everything seems ok. Just need to fix up your Pokemon list. You just need to have a sex for your gardevoir and you're good to go. :)

Actually they can be both from what I remember. Only males can become Gallades when you introduce them to a Dawn Stone.

Character Sheet
Name: Jacob Oliver
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Region of Origin: Hoenn
Occupation: N/A
Appearance: View attachment 2720
(Replace Doggo with Mightyena and yo get it)
Jacob wears a belt specifically designed to hold poke balls and assorted items, and carries a large green backpack big enough for another person that is filled with all sorts of tools meant for outdoors survival. He can also be found wearing a nondescript black cap and shades.

Background: Born in Hoenn, Jacob never really knew what to do with his life for the longest time. Raised as a normal child, he was tempted to become trainer like everyone else, but found the exercise aspect of it dissuaded him from pursuing that goal. So instead he listed around, simply existing but not living life as he scored mediocre grades in school and practically butchered his social life.

It was only at the age of 15 that he found something he truly wanted to do. Having run away from home after a particularly vicious argument with his mother about his lack of effort, he had found himself lost in the local forest.

When he emerged, he came back not only different, but with two Pokémon that refused to leave his side. A Poochyena and a Bounsweet that seemed to share his new wanderlust. He had finally found that motivation he was looking for.

A few years later had him signing up for the the Zara Park Pokemon tournament, eager to prove to everyone who had known him that he had found his calling.
Personality:
Jacob is a fun loving guy, and live and breathes adventure and intrigue. He’ll be the first in and last out to any situation, and would rather place himself next to his Pokémon than behind him. He cares very deeply for his team, which have been with him from the beginning, and views being part of the team the same as being family.
