Giorno said nothing, his leading position at the fore of the group having since been replaced with Clark as he was left to apprehensively make his way down the dim corridor with everyone else. Somehow, even when surrounded with allies, people who he knows are more than capable of crushing any threat that would come their way, it felt as if Giorno was alone. Like at any moment, in spite of all the precautions taken and all of the power consolidated into their core, one among their massive group could be picked off.

Like a deer wandering through an empty forest in hunter's season, not even realizing that it's in danger until the trigger's been pulled.

Giorno's hand curled into a tight fist once the laughing started. His slow, methodical approach collapsed as he began to surge towards the noise. Even as Touma called out for Elliot, Giorno was already walking past him, further into the darkness. Further down the road.

"Come on," he said to Touma without looking back at him. "We're close."

That was the only way humans could absolve themselves of 'fear', Giorno thought. Moving ahead. Approaching the point of fear before it had time to react. Layout the road for others to follow, instead of allowing them to stumble blind. Someone had to be the one to take the 'first step'. He ignored the voice, his fists tightening and his pace speeding up.

And yet, Giorno didn't know he was walking towards danger.

"Yeah, okay, Comstock is officially a motherfucker." Jianyu joined Giorno as they moved ahead. That's just what you fucking did, yeah? Some asshole captured and brainwashed their ticket to Revan, and they needed to get him back! "Stop playing magic tricks and fight us yourself, you bitch!!"

Elliot still didn't really understand any talk that had to do with Revan or loops. His brain had rejected thinking about it outright, though a part of him knew he should be engaging with that information. "Is Comstock really as bad as you say, Bridgette?" he asked, moving forward. "All I've read about him told me he was a good man. Columbia exists because of him."

"Perhaps that's the problem," Cullen offered, though Elliot wasn't sure about that.

When the group neared the entrance, they found a strange, shimmering light. "Careful," Billy said, though Elliot approached it anyway.

"It looks like a tear..." he said, reaching out for it. Before anyone could stop him, the tear shimmered brightly and enveloped Elliot. All that could be heard was his distant scream as it disappeared.

"No!" Billy exclaimed. He made a run for the front entrance, only to find the inside was just as cold and foreboding.

Elliot's yell could be heard distantly, coming from somewhere up above.

How had she known that? "I..." Flashes of a life once lived came to Bridgette's mind. "Elliot I think that-" Before she continue though Elliot was latched up by the tear and vanished. "Elliot!" Bridgette looked frantically around. "We have to get him back! We can't let Comstock get him! Elliot!" She continued yelling as they went through the halls trying to find him.

"Hold it!" If Giorno turned around he'd see Biscuit pointing a finger towards him. "Unless you didn't hear it there is someone walking right towards us. Honestly." She sighed in frustration. One minute people turned bullets into trees but they can't hear heavy footsteps coming down the hall? "Not that I think you can't beat them up but maybe it's best to not reveal ourselves if we don't have to?"

Azure Kite​

A chill ran down Kite's spine as they ventured through the dark halls. It was quiet; too quiet. Wandering around in a hallway like this felt like they were being lead right into a trap. He already had his suspicions when they were at the entrance of the Comstock House, but now, alarms were blaring in his head.

The mural was practically staring straight into Kite's very core, making him shiver in cold sweat. What did it mean? Were they being watched?

He looked left and right, up and down the hallways, looking for any means of surveillance that could possibly give their position away. That was when he saw the beams of light coming from the other hallway.

"Guys..." he said in a hushed tone, pointing down the hall towards the beams of light, "I think... she's right."

"Those lights... look like... searchlights..."

 
The figures were alerted to noise long before anyone walked into their view. They came running into the hall, where their lights saw the intense light Gentaro was giving off. The lights they were giving off turned red and the figures began to run away, sirens echoing from their heads.

"They're an alert!" Billy exclaimed.

"Dammit!" Bridgette pulled out her pistol and was going to open fire hadn't Giorno and Jianyu stood in the way. "We can't let the alert anyone else that we're here!"

As Mebuki made their move Biscuit readied herself to strike incase rifle girls aim was bad. "That's probably some of the weirdest alarms I've ever seen," She quipped.

"No, that's...!" Touma began to protest Elliot's words, the sudden change in his inflections unnerving the boy all the more, but it didn't take long for him to stop as Gentaro's light seemed to promptly alert the figures that Biscuit had warned Giorno from bumping into, to little avail it seemed.

Considering everyone else was likely far more equipped than Touma was to take care of someone like this, the boy gritted his teeth and stepped aside, reluctant to do nothing for the moment even knowing that others would be able to take care of it, letting Mebuki and whoever else make their move.

Azure Kite​

Kite wasted no time in chasing after them, dashing down the hallway as fast as he could, the soles of his shoes scraping against the floor as he turned a sharp corner.

It was far too rash of him, as he could very much get caught in his teammates' line of fire, but his body had moved before he could fully process what was happening. He drew his daggers from behind him and threw them towards one of the figures, aiming for its head to silence its siren.

"Following Giorno, Clark, kept close to the two, while still keeping his eye out for danger. As Clark took the lead again, he smirked at don. Clark's smile was baring reassurance in these trying time. Making eye contact, Clark spoke.

Moving out to cover, Clark, Clark scoped out, taking a deep breath, Clark would use his super speed to charge into each one, hopefully knocking them out.

The siren-headed figures were impervious to all modern forms of weaponry, for the gunfire bounced off them and they still stood after taking rockets. Cullen reached out with his Glartrox tentacles to shade and protect Kite, though even his daggers were not enough to stop the creatures.

However, Clark's immense strength and speed was enough to at least keep the figures from moving, though their shrill cries still echoed throughout the building.

Billy shivered as he heard a cacophony of footfalls coming from deeper within. "Something's coming," he said, as new figures appeared in the hallway, their eyes glowing.

" Somehow, I don't think they are here to have tea and biscuits...…. well, I guess it's a fight we are going to have.' He sighed, deruffling his suit and then using his telekinesis to move the nearest moveable object at the beasts.

Well, maybe these things could be punched if others couldn't be. Biscuit sprang forth readying a punch into one of the foes gut before twirling around and kicking another in the back of its head.

Bridgette meanwhile cursed under her breath as she had her pistol ready again to open fire at the enemy. Even these...things wouldn't stop her from getting to Elliot.

Before Giorno had even registered what Biscuit was saying, the "siren-heads" were already screaming their horrible alarms. Throwing himself back away from the entities while the rest of the party disabled them in their own unique ways, Giorno let out a breath, looking back to Clark as he finished mopping them up. It seemed as if Kent wasn't as normal as he appeared - that kind of 'ability' was supernatural.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Giorno sputtered, his eyes wandering past Clark's head just in time spot something - multiple things - barreling down the hallway. "Shit! Look out!"

The lithe-bodied Joestar shoved Clark out of the way, charging in at the approaching enemies. He eyeballed their distance to him and counted down in his head. Meter by meter, he placed the glowing-eyed men in Gold Experience's effective range. Giorno dug his shoes into the cold ground and leaned back, raising a hand towards the horde.

"GOLD EXPERIENCE!"

The golden-armored Stand manifested again by Giorno's arm, lunging ahead of its master.

A sound, not unlike a machine gun firing, filled the hall as Giorno's ghostly 'companion' pummeled apart the creatures with a flurry of punches, eventually blowing several of them back into the hallway walls with a finishing blow to their heads. Giorno surged ahead, returning Gold Experience to his side as the Stand User slowly progressed down the hallway, his Stand slamming through anything that got in his path.

"Hmph. Useless henchmen. Come on, Clark."

Nathan's eyes widened as Elliot was swallowed by the light, stunned. He trailed behind the group as the ascended the stairs, his heart sinking.

"Wha-" is all he managed to get out before Elliot started screaming, causing a chill to spark down his spine.

The laughter was almost worse.

His stomach churned at the sound, his feelings cut short as another light went off- alerting something inside to their location.

Nathan pulled out his handgun, pointing it ahead of his gaze, scowling at the ugly siren creatures at they moved toward them; shocked as all the bullets bounced off of them before he could even take a shot.

He soon turned his attention to the symphony of footsteps approaching them, letting a laugh bark out absent-mindedly at their appearance.

The new enemies fell easily to the might of the group, though they seemed never-ending. Elliot's voice continued to whisper.

"I was raised to rid the world below of sodom, but my mind grew foggier day by day. A question occurred to me: Why does there exist an infinite amount of worlds where I am leashed? Is that my destiny? Even in the worlds where the leash is removed, am I... as obedient as ever?"

Billy felt renewed energy the more the fight went on. "Revan's grip on this loop is waning!" he announced. "Keep fighting and I'll... use the Demiurge's power to get us to Elliot!"
