Most annoying person you've met.

Tittle is self-explanatory. Whether it be in roleplay or real life, there's always that one person who you can't stand listening to.

An example of this is a guy who was in nearly all of my classes in 10th grade last year. I kid you not, this guy would any meme you can think of a single sentence, do his Terminator impression when ever he gets the chance, and immediately gets mad when tell him to stop. I swear he talks like any comment you'd find on YouTube.

Anyone else met someone this annoying?

Well, I have vague memories of meeting someone like this back in elementary school but now I can't remember.

Right now, I consider a hypocrite in my class to be the most annoying person ever. He acts like he's self-righteous and his actions full of favoritism!

He speaks like he's a sage and moral teacher, he talk all those stuff about morality, karma, spirituality, sin, etc. But then afterwards whenever he see me, he (deliberately) forgets most stuffs he told over and over again and just badmouthed me for no reason at all. He pretend to be righteous, but he didn't respect my privacy. All he did was just to spread my humiliating secrets. Now that I told him to respect my privacy, and now he treated me like shit like nobody cares. Seriously, I didn't even do anything bad to him? He made me feel bad and angry. What the f**k?

Ugh... these kinds of person... Toxic people. I don't understand why he's popular with the others, worse yet most of those are quite okay with me and some are even my friends too!

Oh God that reminds me of another kid back in middle school. Just replace being rightious with just saying random and stupid stuff that somehow makes people laugh and they're basically the same person...

Can't think specifically of the most annoying person I've ever encountered, but...

I am a very easygoing person; I can get along with most any personality type (though getting along with and becoming close friends with is very different to me, but that's another story). But the personality type I hate the most is someone who is constantly negative. Like, I get it, we all go through parts of our lives where we need to complain and what-not, but when someone turns every positive situation into a negative one and then turns all the negative situations into even worse ones, it drives me up the wall. I know some people have no trouble with this personality...just a weird sticking point for me.

One of my aunts. Hands down. I've had to deal with some pretty annoying people in my life, but she tops the list. Always the little damsel in distress, yet queen bee rolled up in one. She thinks she's really something and loves to see how high she can make the rest of the world jump for her.. Among the things she has done are: crying her way through music exams for sympathy. some examiner finally chewed her out for it. She actually got herself a reputation for doing this with the examiners. Crying and threatening law suits when she doesn't want to pay for something. Guilt-tripping. Villifying people who don't give her her own way. Pushing her husband around and making him into what basically amounts to her doormat/servant. "Honey, get me this, honey, do that for me." Inventing different ailments, especially concerning food and scents, so she can go on about how she can't tolerate this or that and must have this or that. And she goes on endlessly about it when there's anyone stuck within earshot. When one 'allergy' novelty wears off and doesn't get her special attention any more, she makes up another. And when she realizes someone isn't playing into her hands any more, boy oh boy does she get ugly. This is a uber bully in victim's clothing, and she makes me want to smack her upside the head, several times.

I don't like to talk about people I know IRL like that, even people I do have actual issues with, so I'll stick to roleplaying.

Anyways: a long ways back, I was doing this RP on a separate forum with this one guy who I normally don't get along. He joined an RP that a friend of mine set up, so I didn't really have much of a choice in terms of dealing with him, so I just kinda let it be and tried to be as friendly as possible.

So what happened? He complained about his place in the story, he had his character basically try and usurp the RP from within, he got into arguments on the discussion thread over stupid things, he couldn't take a joke to save his life, he didn't listen to the RP Host when he started breaking rules, and in general, he was a pain in the butt to deal with and ended up getting kicked off.

Really just not a guy you can gel with unless you're willing to hold his hand and do what he wants to do, which was obviously something me, the host, or the other players were not willing to do, so sucks to be him.

I expressed my annoyance and cringe about rp experiences in other threads that asked what those were, but the rp-er you just posted about sounds a lot like the fan fiction writer who godmodded everyone into pandering saps for her uber Mary Sue and then mouthed off horribly when that wasn't received as well as she had anticipated. She also got kicked off the list.

Myself. Next question.

For real though, hmm.. Probably anyone in tf2 who plays scout then mashes the space bar in random directions. They can't hit you but you can't hit them.

Otherwise anyone who refuses to learn from negative experineces and be able to deal with shit hands in life. If you don't like taking a challenge head on, you and me have problems.

Won't name names but I knew a guy back in my home state. Looking back he was practically your stereotypical internet troll personified. Pressed people's buttons and obviously enjoyed getting them mad. Uncomfortablly forward in his perversion. Cheated at most every game with played, barely tried to hide it. We're talking tabletop RPGs here. Those games where suspense and success hung on the roll of a dice? Never saw this guy roll below a 15. Real suspenseful, right? And the two worst things -- A. He had a girlfriend. God only knows how. And B. -- and this is a legit concern here -- This guy was going through police academy. And passing. Legit scary to think about him as a cop...

Christ, that sounds horrifying. I'll admit, my brother would mess with me when we play games together or I try to do something that'll mess him up for a laugh, but never outright cheat. Question: I have never played tabletop RPGs before (I've wanted to try dungeons and dragons but I have no friends), so I'm not an expert at this. How in the world would someone be able to cheat at them?

Dice tipping. Every time he'd roll he'd tap the dice towards a higher number. Always cupped his hands in front of the die when he rolled it too. Half the group complained about it but the GM was... quite frankly spineless, didn't want to confront him. Probably because, important detail I left out, he was only invited because he had space to play in.

Ah. Stuff like this is why I'll never GM in roleplay or anything else like it. That, and at times I can be a bit too passive and once ended up letting a metagamer in without realizing until a few posts.

I've never really had to GM in just a roleplay but in tabletop games I just shoot down anyone who seems the type. People who put more emphasis on their character's stats than their personality, obvious min/maxers, etc.

My literature teacher this study year, he had large expectations, gave us the highest homework and the lowest grades, would throw us out of class for having an "incorrect" homework, even when giving him good results it did little impact on him. He was very confusing at times not remembering basic things like referencing another publisher which had not made such a book at all, the book was our "homework" book which he himself bought for us (we bought "trough" him). Although you can blame that on his rather high age, his criticizing due to not thanking him for the "good grades" he gave us is just outraging. One time he almost threw all the students out of our class (only 2 left of 17) and came busting in the principal's room shouting that the principal must ensure we preform religious rites for lying.
He gave us a good laugh though, after that event we crowned him as a religious leader for creating new religious rites lol

Probably an RPer I met on Starcraft 2, they were something of a plagiarist, mostly from obscure sources, and the parts that weren't stolen left them as the chosen-one, but always in the role of rather unlikeable characters. Despite some suggestions to try and improve things, from what I recall, no real change occurred. In the end, I kind of trolled the crap out of them by soloing the setting on one character, and basically nuking a country full of vampires with a disposable clone (okay, technically a simulacrum, to be precise) carrying an artifact that allowed for the establishment of eternal *day* in the area, as opposed to the former eternal *night.*

Most annoying person I met? That wuld be a long list. From some guys back during my military days looking down on me cause I'm a woman (vas that much more satisfying to prove them vrong tho, on the mat or the range), to clients trying to barter-down my fees (fixed, in advance, always, zero room for bargaining), to jealous gfs/wives of some of my clients making big threats over phone/mail (honey, if you culd satisfy him, he wuld never WANT a escort, think about that :p ). They dont come to me cuz there happy vith there sex life, thats for sure. They come because they are not. Aniway, those types never have the guts to do anithing, ofc, they just screech in my ear like crows hehe. To oponents in a fight who get butt-hurt vhen they lose (wel sorry, but thats how it vorks, you win some, you lose some, you want to win, next time be beter prepared and train up). Especialy annoying vith guys, they think just cuz I'm a woman there going to steamroll me... then they get to eat there overconfidence! Love it.

So yesss... long list. But I dont let it bother me, just shows me how much more fun I got in life then the people who annoy me! :)

There is this guy who I really hate, but I have to deal with him on a regular basis. He likes to think he's everyone's buddy. He's friendly, open-minded, funny (according to some people?) and everyone around me just seems to have a positive opinion of him. That is, except for me. Why?

Because every time we talk to each other, he has to make some kind of sexual joke or comment. If I ask to borrow something, he'll joke about only lending it in exchange for a blowjob. If I mention something about my height (I'm comically short haha) he'll say something about how he loves fucking petite girls. He's always inappropriately asking about my sex life. And on more than one occasion, he's just straight out said shit like, "Let's go to my car and fuck." Not bad enough? Here's the real kicker: Every time he does that, I make it painfully clear what I think of it. No. I am not interested. I don't want to fuck you. I have a boyfriend. I do not find this behavior endearing or attractive in any way. And yet every time, he only seems to get more persistent.

He only ever does this in public, and has never tried to make a move on me. I'm pretty convinced this whole thing has nothing to do with the act of sex, and much, much more to do with trying to elicit some kind of response from me or the people around us. Pretty damn annoying if you ask me.

There was once I guy who was probably nineteen or twenty, rather over-weight, fiery red hair, and a drawling way of talking that always seemed to end up at the formal dances I went to. He was really sweet, but he ruined every evening for me. He would always, ALWAYS ask me to dance at least four times in an evening...and the worst of it was; he had a limp and he really didn't know how to dance. It is very awkward for the girl to try and teach the guy to dance! So, when I would really love to be dancing, I would be hiding out in the corner so that he wouldn't ask me again; and because of that, no other guy would ask me to dance either.

I finally developed a method of moving nonchalantly towards the snack table whenever I saw him approaching. I felt bad...but man! it was just awful to have him for a dance partner!!
