A year

Focusedheart

Through all, smile. Through the worst, smirk.
She opens her eyes as her alarm began to chirp at her. The sound barely registered for her though as she laid there. Eyes to the ceiling for a moment.

Alarm sounding with its annoying ring. Chirping away with its tune. Yes it was time to get up wasn't it?

A heavy sigh leaves her lips and moving her arms she pushes herself into a sitting position . It was then that her eyes drifted to the other side of the bed.

Her hand still laying flat on the mattress. Gently she stroked the empt side of the bed. It would usually warm and occupied.

A year....

That side of the bed...it was empty. Had it truly been a year?

It was then the tears began to fall. There was no point and trying to hold back that pain. That aching torment that she would never see him again.

A year.....

With another long moment, she managed to gain some control over herself. Enough to get from the bed to the closet where she pulled on clean clothes.

No she wouldn't stay locked in her room, locked away with only his memory to comfort her. Yes his memory, she held it tightly to her heart. A heart that still ached for his voice , his touch, his hugs.

No she would not stay inside. She picked her camera up from the table and headed out the door to create a day for his memory. His anniversary.

RIP. To my beloved husband. A year without you has been an eternity. I miss you so much and keep your memory close.
