Toebo gave a sound like a shriek in shock at the sight of the floating box, but wasn't at all opposed to the offering. With a noise like a cackle and another squeal, this one in glee, he extended a wing and swept the deer away, into his breast. His head was hidden for a moment behind his wing, and thoroughly unpleasant noises emanated from behind the cover for a little while, before falling silent. Toebo revealed his head again, beak stained in blood. He seemed to smile, and dunked his beak under the water to drink, staining the blood red. He came back out of the water and looked to the elf, face still pulled in something like a childish smile. "What's your name, elf?" He asked.
