Strength of Steel, Will of Iron
Within the low atmosphere of Treilo, Head Forge Master Khebb wait on his personal Mobile Factory as his Forge Masters set in the calculations for the first trip outside of their system. With an unknown galactic chart in their ship map, and a wide galaxy to explore, the Vurax prepare a brave Forge Master to explore planets beyond in a frigate known as 'The Manifest.' Master Khebb cannot wait for the launch, nor can the rest of the Forge Masters by his side.
"<This shall be a monumental occasion for Vurax. We shall be teaching future generations of this day.>" He commented.
"<What you say is true Head Forge Master. Still I think we should wait for the others to come to us. It would be easier to speak with them with the full might of the Vurax military behind us. Will the other sentients think us weak for sending a single ship?>" Asks Khebb's apprentice
"<That is what I want Thenn. If they think us weak, then they will not think of us as a threat. If they do not think of us as a threat then they shall underestimate us when they attempt to invade.>" Explained the Head Forge Master. After his explanation, the Forge Master upon 'The Manifest' contacts Khebb's Mobile Factory.
"<Head Forge Master. The AI Calculations are ready. We only need your word to activate the FTL drives.>" Said the Forge Master.
"<Of course. Forge Masters. Join me in a prayer for Forge Master Grith's safe journey.>" Beckoned Khebb and the Forgemasters lowered their heads and raised their claws. "<Great Vertinaca, if your great wisdom you have given us your knowledge and inspiration to gather peace from war, to claim order from chaos, and to seek truth from lies. We now ask that you allow Forge Master Grith a safe journey across the stars. Let us activate the drives with confidence and pride for you give us confidence and through you we earn our pride. Activate the Drives. May Vertinaca see us fit for this task.>" They prayed and with a few pushes of levers the Frigate's engines brighten then in flies into the stars faster then the eyes can process. The Forge Masters were quiet as they waited to see what will happen in the next few seconds.
"<...Head Forge Master, 'The Manifest''s signal still burns. We are successful!>" The Vurax on board began to celebrate as Khebb looked onward. He had accomplished something marvelous, but like all leaders he must wonder if he had made the right decision to be the first to engage with an alien world.
